Nerd Prom, also known as the annual White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, was more like a glamorous film festival or awards show last night, judging from some of the gorgeous gowns found on the red carpet.

From Kate Mara’s white hot long sleeved Prada number to Jessica Pare’s black-and-blue creation from Antonio Berardi, Hollywood’s finest ladies hit all the right fashion notes at the Washington Hilton.

Nicole Kidman looked like she was ready for a party at Jay Gatsby’s mansion, thanks to a light purple Emilio Pucci dress.

Kerry Washington was also a hit in a print gown by Wes Gordon.

On Friday, the nation’s capital welcomed the first batch of White House Correspondents Dinner pre-parties, including one hosted by The New Yorker’s David Remnick.

The star-studded gathering, held at the W Hotel Rooftop, welcomed a slew of familiar faces from the small screen, the silver screen and the world of sports.

Mad Men star Jessica Pare donned a gorgeous gold and black dress while Sharon Stone showed off her gams in an LBD. Gerard Butler suited up, as did How I Met Your Mother’s Josh Radnor and Piers Morgan.

The 2013 White House Correspondents Dinner, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will take place on Saturday night.

The women of Hollywood stepped out in style this week at events that stretched both sides of the coasts — and, in the case of Kate Middleton, across the pond.

Among the highlights: World’s Most Beautiful Woman Gwyneth Paltrow, who ditched fear for sheer in Antonio Berardi at the Iron Man 3 premiere in Hollywood; and Mad Men beauty Jessica Paré, who drove us mad in a colorful dress by Serbian designer Roksanda Ilinčić.

It’s a style showdown — the Jessicas edition.

Jessica Paré and Jessica Biel both put their most fashionable foot forward as they hit separate red carpets in New York City on Tuesday night.

On the heels of wowing in L’Wren Scott, Paré again took a cue from her Mad Men character’s ’60s chicness with a brush-stroke sleeveless dress from Serbian designer Roksanda Ilinčić, which she styled with a white Charlotte Olympia heels.

The star’s fashion knockout stole the spotlight as the Mad Men cast attended a presentation for their award-winning AMC drama at The Paley Center for Media.

Just a few city blocks away at Lincoln Center, Biel was turning heads at the 2013 Time 100 Gala in an asymmetrical black Tom Ford tunic dress on the arm of her husband Justin Timberlake, who was also dashing in threads from his favored suit-making designer.

While Timberlake let his spiffy tuxedo speak for itself, Biel complemented her frock with Lorraine Schwartz gems, a gold-plated Tom Ford clutch and a peep-toe pump.

January Jones continued to confuse the fashion world on Monday at a BAFTA panel event for Mad Men.

The 35-year-old actress and mother-of-one threw together a hodge-podge of clothes and made it an ensemble. More specifically, she wore a leather jacket by Versace, a skirt by Parker and shoes by Miu Miu.

The jacket was kind of cool, and so were the shoes. The skirt, however, looked like something you might find on the dusty back-corner sale rack at Crate & Barrell. So, she’s almost there.

Jessica Paré loves Megan Draper.

Since landing a role on AMC’s hit show Mad Men nearly three years ago, the Canadian actress has quickly become the envy of viewers everywhere, thanks to her stylish wardrobe and her intimate scenes with on screen hubby Don Draper, played by Jon Hamm.

“How can you not love Megan? I do,” Paré says in the March 2013 issue of Elle Canada. “People will react to me as an actor though. Everybody has their opinions — I’m the worst about, like, ‘Oh, I don’t like that actress’ for no reason. So I understand that, but I think the character is fantastic. She’s so spontaneous and genuine.”

Paré made big headlines in the beginning of season five after delivering a striking and mesmerizing performance of the French classic “Zou Bisou Bisou.” Since the episode, the single has dominated music charts across the continent.

“I knew the song was catchy when I started working on that episode and everybody in the production office was singing it incessantly, and then I was singing it for about six weeks and then everybody in the cast was singing it for the next two,” she tells Elle.

“Hats off to [show creator] Matt Weiner for choosing something that would capture people’s imaginations in such a great way.”

The Montreal native, who just turned 30 in December, also dishes about the joys of being in a new age bracket.

“Most of my good girlfriends are older, so I had only high hopes about turning 30 — and so far I haven’t been disappointed. I feel like I’m more fun,” she says.

Who says you can’t wear a bikini in the fall?

From Jennifer Lawrence and her toned tummy in Hawaii to Jessica Pare’s ‘60s flashback on the set of Mad Men, some of Hollywood’s finest haven’t let the fall months get in the way of their bikini bodies.

This season has seen nearly every shade of blue, thanks to ensembles donned by Bar Refaeli, Lady Gaga, Courtney Cox, Ali Landry and Rumer Willis.

Several Real Housewives cast members have also been spotted beachside this fall.

Earlier this month, Joanna Krupa showed off her amazing figure in Miami in a blue-and-gold ensemble. The Real Housewives of Miami star and her beau Romain Zago also weren’t shy about packing on the PDA on the sand.

Taylor Armstrong and Bethenny Frankel have also enjoyed beach outings in Mexico and Miami, respectively.

Gisele Bundchen, who is pregnant with her second child with husband Tom Brady, also took in some beach time this season. The Brazilian beauty flaunted her glowing belly in an animal-print two-piece, while taking in the sun with a friend.

Don Draper sure knows how to rock a pair of swim trunks.

On Wednesday, Jon Hamm and costar Jessica Paré, who plays his onscreen wife Megan, were spotted hard at work on the set of Mad Men in Hawaii.

While the photos shed little light on what the Season 6 premiere will bring for viewers, one thing’s for sure: Don and Megan are still very much together . . . or so it seems.

As Deadline previously reported, the only actors on hand for the Hawaii shoot are Hamm and Pare, which opens up a string of possibilities for what else will happen on the season opener. (Pete Campbell’s new Manhattan apartment!)

Mad Men fans will recall that in last season’s finale, Megan finally gets her big break in the industry, starring in the new Butler shoe commercial.

After visiting her on set, Don quickly goes back to his old tricks and orders an Old Fashioned at the bar. Moments later, a woman approaches and asks if he is alone.

The new season of Mad Men will premiere in 2013.
