From the Diamonds World Tour to Late Night studio, the stars have been busy bees in the last 24 hours.

Rihanna hit the stage in Antwerp for the second night in a row as she performed inside the Sportpaleis arena for her world tour. The 25-year-old superstar is due in Paris on Saturday, followed by a string of shows in England.

Stateside, Jimmy Fallon looked ultra dapper in a beige jacket and navy dress pants as he headed to work in New York City. The Late Night host finished off his look with a stylish suitcase and a peace sign (for the nearby photographers).

Elsewhere on the east coast, Cameron Diaz and her co-star Taylor Kinney (not pictured) continued to film scenes for their new film The Other Woman in the Hamptons. Diaz, 40, was spotted holding a glass of wine as she showed off her long legs on some waterfront property.

Back in Hollywood, Hilary Duff went on a dinner date to Madeo with her hubby Mike Comrie, Alyson Hannigan stepped out to support her man Alexis Denisof at a screening of his new film Much Ado About Nothing and John Cho threw the first pitch at a game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Atlanta Braves.

After weeks of speculation, NBC made things official on Sunday by confirming that Saturday Night Live‘s Seth Meyers will be taking over Late Night once Jimmy Fallon begins The Tonight Show.

The new job will keep Meyers in the good company of Lorne Michaels, the big boss at SNL and the executive producer of Late Night. Michaels will also serve as executive producer for Fallon’s new gig.

“We think Seth is one of the brightest, most insightful comedy writers and performers of his generation . . . His years at SNL’s Weekend Update desk, not to mention being head writer of the show for many seasons, helped him hone a topical brand of comedy that is perfect for the Late Night franchise,” NBC entertainment chairman Bob Greenblatt said. Added Meyers: “I only have to work for Lorne for five more years before I pay him back for the time I totaled his car. 12:30 on NBC has long been incredible real estate. I hope I can do it justice.”

The 39-year-old joined SNL in 2001 as a cast member before he was promoted to writing supervisor in 2005. In 2006 Meyers became head writer following Tina Fey’s exit.

In early April, NBC confirmed that Fallon would succeed Jay Leno on The Tonight Show at the conclusion of the 2014 Winter Olympics. The show will also move back to its birthplace of New York City.

NBC has yet to announce the premiere date for Late Night with Seth Meyers. Has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

The wonderful world of Twitter was buzzing extra loud this week, thanks to the famous guests at the 2013 Met Gala in New York City.

Kim Kardashian recapped her red carpet outfit with three words on Twitter: “Gloves. Train. Flowers.”

Jessical Biel channeled her inner punk well before the big event, telling her followers that she was sipping on scotch out of a teacup. “Really getting into the #MetBall theme over here,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Ian Somerhalder posted a questionable quote on the same day news broke of his split from his girlfriend of three years Nina Dobrev.

“People change and forget to tell each other,” he wrote, borrowing words from playwright Lillian Hellman.

Speaking of couples, Chris Brown also posted a cryptic tweet, further brewing the rumors of his relationship status with Rihanna.

“She’s not mine if she’s everybody else’s,” Brown wrote.

Mindy Kaling loves Jimmy Fallon more than anything in the world right now.

The reason? On Thursday, the Late Night host granted Kaling’s wish and “asked about” her during his interview with Game of Thrones hunk Nikolaj Coster-Waldau.

Kaling, who made her request on Twitter hours before the taping, also received photographic evidence from Fallon.

From the Big Apple to Brazil, the stars have been keeping busy.

One day after NBC made the big announcement that Jimmy Fallon would take over The Tonight Show duties, the talk show host was spotted walking to his current job at Late Night. Fallon is set to move studios (though not too far — the show’s coming back to NYC) in 2014.

“Today was one of the most exciting days of my life. I read every tweet and every post and I thank you,” the former SNL star wrote on Twitter following the big news.

Elsewhere on the east coast, Will and Jada Pinkett Smith got all dolled up for the New York premiere of Free Angela and All Political Prisoners.

At a much more laid back red carpet event, Gwyneth Paltrow celebrated the launch of her new cookbook It’s All Good: Delicious, Easy Recipes that Will Make You Look Good and Feel Great at Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Over in Rio de Janeiro, a growing and glowing Fergie covered up her lovely baby bump in a wrap dress as she hit Ipanema beach with her entourage. The Black Eyed Peas singer is scheduled to be in Sao Paulo on Thursday night for the amfAR Inspiration Gala.

It’s official.

Jimmy Fallon will take over as The Tonight Show host at the end of NBC’s coverage of the 2014 Winter Olympics from Sochi, Russia.

After weeks of speculation, Jay Leno’s 21-year-reign as the host of the popular late night show has come to an end.

NBC is also confirming reports that it plans to move the television program from it’s longtime home in Los Angeles to its birthplace in New York.

Tensions were running high after countless media reports speculated that Leno wasn’t a part of the transition talks.

“Clearly our goal has been to make this a smooth transition,” NBC’s chief executive Steve Burke said in a telephone interview. “Jay deserves to be treated like someone who has done a wonderful thing for our company for two decades.”

From Run DMC to Snoop, Eminem to Jay-Z, Late Night viewers got another history lesson on Friday night.

After one week of sketches, talk show chat and music from The 20/20 Experience, Justin Timberlake finished off “Timberweek” with the fourth edition of the “History of Rap” with Jimmy Fallon.

“OK, but this is the last time,” Timberlake said just before starting the medley.

“Till the next time we do this,” Fallon added.

The always-entertaining pair kicked off the nearly six-minute performance with Sugarhill Gang’s “Apache (Jump On It),” complete with the famous dance, before taking turns on Grandmaster Melle Mel’s “White Lines.”

JT and Fallon’s latest “History of Rap” also included classics like “No Sleep Till Brooklyn” by the Beastie Boys, “Shoop” by Salt N Pepa, “P.I.M.P.” by 50 Cent and finally ending with “Lose Yourself” by Eminem.

Timberlake later performed a medley of his own songs as the show’s musical guest for the fifth night in a row, including “Senorita,” “My Love” and “Cry Me A River.”

The 20/20 Experience drops Mar. 19.

Though originally the name of a 1980s dance that turned mainstream, G. Dep’s “Let’s Get It” music video, the Harlem Shake has gone on to be referenced in mumerous songs over the years, including a track by Brooklyn-based producer Baauer.

Now that song has become the backdrop music in Harlem Shake meme, the latest online dance craze to take the Internet by storm.

And since the release of a video by the YouTube comedy video blogger Filthy Frank, the revived ‘shake’ has spawned tens of millions of viral videos.

Step 1: Hit play on Baauer’s “Harlem Shake.”

Has Josh Duhamel picked up a few dance moves from wife Fergie?

From the looks of Tuesday night…yes. The dapper actor showed off his fancy footwork as he paid a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon to promote his latest film, Safe Haven.

“Here’s my one concern I would have being married to Fergie—dancing. Does she make you dance? She’s a good dancer,” Jimmy Fallon pondered.

“We’ve danced, but I keep the expectations low,” Duhamel replied. “We could dance if you’d like.”

Before he got to business, Duhamel waxed nostalgia, recalling a previous appearance his wife made on the talk show, which involved some hard alcohol.

“I saw her when she was on your show a while back, that’s a lot to live up to,” Duhamel added, “with the shots of vodka and everything else.”

Fallon then proceeded to show the audience his signature move: a backward arm motion with him saying “I’m going to the bar.”

And with that said, Duhamel called on the show’s house band, The Roots, to give the comedian some musical accompaniment.

“He gave us a little music, we could do it. I’m down,” Duhamel said.

The actor then joined Fallon, providing viewers a few seconds filled with sexy, booty-popping moves to much of the viewers’ approval.

But the fun didn’t end there. Staying in tradition of the show’s famous games, Fallon invited the actor to play “Cooler Scooters,” a race which involved the pair zipping around on motorized coolers while sipping on Budweiser from novelty beer hats.

“You’re going down, dude,” Duhamel told Fallon with a laugh.

Safe Haven hits theaters on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14.

Paying a visit to Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, the Biebs got up close and personal with a mystery brunette — well, a mannequin to be exact.

“Don’t fall in love with it, Justin, no! Focus!” host Jimmy Fallon begged as the 18-year-old singer planted a kiss on the female doll’s lips.

But hold off on the angry tirade, Beliebers: the singer’s make out session wasn’t intended to cause jealousy for his fans (or Selena Gomez). The steamy smooch was all part of Fallon’s sketch: a “three-point shootout with random objects.”

After showing off his kissing technique, Bieber proceeded to throw the mannequin’s head into a basketball hoop.

Adding to the craziness, the Canadian crooner even revealed the identity of his father: Chuck Norris.

“Crazy news, breaking news: Chuck Norris is my father,” he joked at the start of the game, which also featured a framed photo of the action star, ramen noodles and milkshakes.

Prior to the silly shootout, Bieber and Fallon dished about their shared love of expensive rides, including the “Believe” singer’s Ferrari 458 Italia, which has often landed him in trouble.

“You know what, the police really like to pull me over,” he explained. “I don’t do anything, I promise. It looks bad, you see pictures of me, but really, the tints are really dark and a lot of the times they’ll pull me over.”

Adding, “I don’t want to cause accidents because people are trying to take pictures and I thought it would be more safe for everyone else if I had dark tints. I’m having fun being 18 and enjoying my life and being responsible.”

And Biebs is certainly enjoying the good life. In addition to his reunion with Gomez, he’s currently rehearsing for his double duty as host and musical guest on Saturday Night Live this weekend.

“I’m nervous, but I think it’s going to be fun. I’ve just got to remember to memorize the lines,” he said.

Tom Cruise once again proved he’s a good sport on Tuesday’s episode of Late Night, during which he took part in a classic game of Water War with host Jimmy Fallon.

The rules, of course, are quite simple: Whomever draws the highest card gets to douse their competitor with a glass — or, in one instance, a pitcher — of water.

Naturally, things got pretty wet. Which might be why it was so refreshing to see a superstar like Tom Cruise put up such an affable fight.

It might have helped that he eventually, you know, won the game.

Prior to the War, Cruise sat down for an interview — his first since his divorce from Katie Holmes — to promote his new movie Jack Reacher.

During the interview, Cruise, 50, admitted he injured his foot while filming the movie, in a rather, um, unconventional way.

“There’s a scene where I’m kicking a guy in the balls, the testicles,” he said.”It was a human being, [but] no testicles were injured in the making of the film!”

“We had to do the take over and over again, and the first 10 times it was like ‘Yeah!’” he continued. “After about 50 times in, my foot was swelling … I kept having to loosen my shoe.”

From Martin Short’s cameo-filled opening monologue to surprise guest Samuel L. Jackson’s possible f-bomb during a talk show sketch, Saturday Night Live’s holiday episode has left viewers plenty to talk about in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

The show opened with a tribute to the Connecticut elementary school shooting victims with help from the New York City Children’s Chorus, who sang a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night.” The group also delivered the classic “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night” announcement (video below).

“SNL has always been my first love, followed by my movies, then theater, then my money and my family,” Short joked during his opening monologue.

The 62-year-old SNL vet then launched into a musical number, to the tune of “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” but tweaked the theme to represent the real meaning of Christmas: being “amorous.”

With cameras following him through the halls of the SNL studio, Martin delivers a whole lot of love to Tom Hanks, Jackson, and SNL alums Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels, who was on the receiving end of a very big kiss from the host.

Musical guest Sir Paul McCartney delivered three powerhouse performances, including one that reunited the former Beatle and the surviving members of Nirvana — Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear. The supergroup, who played last week’s Hurricane Sandy relief concert at Madison Square Garden, tore the stage with “Cut Me Some Slack.”

The episode came to an awkward halt during the “What’s Up With That” talk show sketch with Keenan Thompson, Portlandia star Carrie Brownstein and Jackson, who may have cursed on live television.

“Man f**k, that’s some bulls**t!” he yelled at one point, after Thompson’s hilarious host character says the show’s out of time.

“Come on Sam, come on now . . . that costs money,” Thompson responds, referring to a potential fine from the FCC.

“I only said FUH and not F**K! K was sposed to cut off da BULLS**T, blew it!!” Jackson tweeted backstage moments after the sketch.

As Twitter quickly exploded with reaction to Jackson’s word choice, and as several unofficial recordings (like this one) began to flood YouTube, NBC later uploaded a version of the sketch, but with caution — the potential curse word is muted.

Going back to Martin’s smorgasbord of performances Saturday night, the funnyman kicked off his evening with a bit opposite Alec Baldwin as Tony Bennett.

Martin also took part in a more newsy sketch about what else: Kate Middleton’s pregnancy. Playing a representative sent from Buckingham Palace, Martin advises the Duchess’ doctor to address her lady bits with any of the following words: the governess, the king maker, her Downton Abbey, Dame Judi Dench, among others.

“When the child is delivered, you must not reach for it unless it offers a hand to you,” Martin adds.

The evening wrapped with McCartney taking part in for a sketch that turned into a full-blown performance of “Wonderful Christmas Time,” along with the return of the New York City Children’s Chorus.

Saturday Night Live will return Jan. 15, with host Jennifer Lawrence and musical guest The Lumineers.

Now that’s how you sing a Christmas song.

On Wednesday, Mariah Carey made a surprise appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon for a special rendition of her holiday hit, “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Donning a red dress and matching pumps, Mimi delivered her lines as Fallon, Questlove, the guys from The Roots and four adorable children joined in, along with a smorgasbord of classroom instruments (note the colorful xylophone).

“Join the fun + sing along to my festive “All I Want For Christmas Is You” collabo with @jimmyfallon & @theroots!!!” Carey wrote on Twitter Wednesday night.

The American Idol judge is the latest singer to take part in Fallon’s impromptu music sessions.

In early November, Christina Aguilera dropped by the Late Night set to perform “Your Body” with Fallon, The Roots — and office supplies.

The show also welcomed Carly Rae Jepsen in June, with classroom instruments, for a performance of her mega hit, “Call Me Maybe.” Jepsen’s visit remains the most watched video on Fallon’s YouTube channel, wit more than 11 million views to date.

Katie Holmes is down for a Dawson’s Creek reunion.

The actress, who gave her first post-divorce TV interview on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Thursday night, said she would definitely reunite with her former WB castmates… only if there was something to reunite for.

“I love everyone from the show, and we have kind of talked about it here and there, but what do you do?” said Holmes.

Of course, there’s one cast member who would have to miss out: Michelle Williams. Her character Jen Lindley sadly passed away on the 2003 series finale of the hit teen drama. Holmes, however, doesn’t seemed fazed.

“Michelle’s character passed away … Our last episode, we were already five years older. Maybe we’ll go on vacation,” she said. “That will be fun — and just film it!” Joey and Pacey Take Miami, anyone?

Last July, Us Weekly reported that Holmes wanted to reunite with her former co-stars James Van Der Beek and Joshua Jackson to have “fun” and “reconnect with her fans,” but her then-husband Tom Cruise vetoed the plan and urged Holmes to leave the past in the past.

Holmes, who recently divorced Cruise after six years of marriage, is currently starring in the Broadway play Dead Accounts with Josh Hamilton and Tony winner Norbert Leo Butz.
