The outspoken comedian is stirring up controversy by urging young gay stars to stay in the closet. Her reason? It’s bad for their careers if they are honest about their sexuality:

If you’re going to be a romantic idol and try to get every teenage girl to love you, then you’d be an a** to come out and say you’re gay. Ricky Martin was so smart. He did what he did, made his millions and then he said, ‘Guess what, everybody? I’m gay…’ It didn’t matter anymore because he didn’t have to bring in 16-year-old girls.

Hm, does Joan really know what 16-year-old girls want? Last time we checked plenty of girls seem to enjoy Adam Lambert‘s music even he’s gay.

Comedienne Joan Rivers—who certainly knows her way around a plastic surgeon’s office—recently piped up to Extra about the Hills blonde’s numerous procedures. Guess what? She’s into it!

Says Rivers,

“How great—I want to meet [Montag's doctor]! Once they put you under, I always say, ‘Do whatever you can! I’m under! Get it all done at once, doc!’” 

Of course, the tart-tongued funny-lady couldn’t help but get a couple of digs in, too:

“Maybe it was Dollar Day. Or it was ‘Buy One, Get One Free’ Day.”

Joan took some time out of her day to defend Jesse’s honor to Hollywood Life at a recent party:

Jesse should have been in therapy years ago [...] I’m so sad because he’s such a sweet guy. And when he starts telling you about what he came out of with his background you put two and two together. So you just hope, please God, get into therapy, which he is and try and pull your life together.

Joan continued to gush about Jesse, saying she found him “adorable, ADORABLE” when they worked together and that he was “a darling and a gentleman [...] he was the one who carried your bag, he was the one who helped you up the stairs.” Huh, who knew that some basic manners were enough to permanently win the heart of Joan Rivers?

“Oh God—it’s not fixed at all!” Rivers tells OK! Magazine. “Trust me.”

In fact, Rivers—who competed earlier on in the season before getting eliminated—says that the results are unpredictable that she’d get a little nauseous when going into the boardroom. “I think that my throwing up before going on [to be judged by Donald Trump] proves that we didn’t know what was going on,” Rivers recalls. “It’s like when I watch my favorite teams during play offs—I get a little queasy. I was eating a lot of Tums last night.”

Just as, no doubt, a lot of other people were feeling sick after watching the season finale.

The 75-year-old, loudmouthed comedienne took top honors on this season of Celebrity Apprentice last night, beating out poker pro Annie Duke by throwing a more successful pre-party and silent auction for attendees of Cirque du Soleil’s Wintuk.

The victory came after Rivers after a heated exchange during which she likened Duke to Nazi leader Adolf Hitler and compared her associates to the Mafia.

“I get so emotional but I didn’t want to get in the gutter,” Rivers later told E! Online afterward. “I think I got close to it…I pulled it out of the gutter very fast.”

That’s right; you stay classy, Joan.

“Dennis has obviously got a drinking problem,” team member Jesse James told a nationally televised audience at the final gathering of the celebrity contestants. While shocking to hear the words, a few members of the group shook the heads in agreement while teammate Brian McKnight said “oh ya”  when asked if he agreed.

And no one  — not even Rodman — disagreed.

“These guys are kind of blind,” Rodman said when asked to respond to the comments. But he never took the argument dead on.

It was hard to argue with the televised footage of Rodman during his team’s task of running a luxury hotel in NY.  The former basketball star made frequent stops to the kitchen/bar area to seek out vodka cranberry drinks and was shot carrying the drinks in many scenes.

Jesse James told Rodman that he took four drinks away from the star. Rodman listed this number at 15.

The star’s behavior become more erratic as the day went on:

• Rodman’s choice of conversation with a guest from Vancouver was an enthusiastic, one-sided discussion about Vancouver strip clubs.

•While serving as a guest-relation staffer, Rodman made comments about two attractive female guests from across the lobby, um, to the guests.

•Rodman became frustrated with his team and left the hotel to have dinner with two other guests. Not to return that evening.

•He returned the next morning to sleep on the couch in the lobby with his jacket slung over him.

The dramatic final confrontation was made all the more emotional since Jesse James is sober, telling the group. “I stopped drinking almost nine years ago.”

“I used to drink, I used to do it all,” James said. “I have walked in his shoes.”

As he was quickly fired by Donald Trump, Rodman gave a random comment before walking out.  “I can kick anybody’s ass at anything. Anybodys.”

With that, he exited, pushing away anyone who approached him at the end for a goodbye hug.

But, as Joan and Melissa Rivers should be able to tell you, the surgeon’s scalpel is a double-edged sword.  For every deformed feature made palatable by the work of a compassionate doctor, there’s a monstrosity created thanks to overzealous pursuit of surgery-enabled perfection.

“You might have heard rumors, but now I’m finally I’m able to tell you guys that you’ll soon see me on Celebrity Apprentice. They announced the cast today which includes, Clint Black, Andrew Dice Clay, Tom Green, Scott Hamilton, Jesse James, Brian McKnight, Dennis Rodman, Herschel Walker, Joan and Melissa Rivers, Annie Duke, Natalie Gulbis, Claudia Jordan, Brande Roderick and Tionne Watkins.

“I’ve always been somewhat of an entrepreneur. I own my own clothing stores, as well as online stores, and I’ve been running them for a while. With each passing day, I find myself devoting more and more time to my businesses and that desire to throw myself into my work is only growing. Everyday I wake up and have to be at work and I definitely do consider myself a business woman, but that side of my personality has never really been brought to light.

“People assume my sisters and I party all night and sleep all day, which was why taking on the challenge of Celebrity Apprentice seemed like a perfect fit for me.  Plus…I’ve always wanted to see Donald Trump flip his wig…LOL.

The bake sale’s proceeds will go to charity.

It’s a pity Joe Francis got the axe before the show even starting taping.  He seems to be just the type of friendly guy who people on the street would flock to.

Meanwhile, hopefully no one saw Joan’s face and called the cops…or referred to her as “Heath.”

The wedding was attended by a celeb-heavy assemblage, including Billy Joel, Donald Trump, Joan Rivers, Barbara Walters and John Stamos.

Also in attendance: Recently split couple Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel.

The ceremony between Stern, 54, and 36-year-old Ostrosky—who wore Marchesa for the occasion—was officiated by Kelly Ripa‘s husband Mark Consuelos. Joel pitched in with the entertainment, singing two songs, as did comedian Chevy Chase, who delivered a raunchy roast.

“I danced with Howard,” Rivers said of the event. “The wedding was fabulous, everyone had a great, great time.”

Congratulations, you two! Here’s hoping to many happy years together.
