Oscar winner Halle Berry is expecting a child with her French boyfriend Olivier Martinez at 46.

The X-Men star had her first daughter Nahla Aubrey back in 2008 when she was 41-years-old — and the stunning leading lady isn’t the only Hollywood mom who’s having children later in life.

Whether it be naturally or through fertility treatments, these women are beating their biological clocks by having beautiful and healthy babies.

Canadian songstress Celine Dion had twins, Eddy Angelil and Nelson Angelil, when she was 42-years-old with her husband Rene Angelil, 68, while Kelly Preston was an impressive, 48, when she gave birth to her baby son Benjamin Travolta with hubby John Travolta, 56.

After 85 years of dispensing awards, the Oscars have become something of a measuring stick for judging, and then recognizing, the best and brightest talents in Hollywood. But with so many great movies, performances and behind-the-scenes efforts, and so few slots for nominations, it comes as little surprise that more than a handful of great accomplishments go unrecognized each year.

But after two years? Five? Ten? It seems impossible to think that the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences would fail to find some reason why certain industry icons deserve to take home one of those little gold statuettes.

And yet, Celebuzz has found not two, or five, or ten, but 25 performers and filmmakers who have never won an Oscar – and in a few cases, have never received nominations.

While the most egregious oversight in Oscar history might be never awarding a Best Director statuette to Stanley Kubrick, the filmmaker did in fact receive recognition in 1968 for Visual Effects for his work on 2001: A Space Odyssey. And Alfred Hitchcock, another industry luminary, received an honorary Oscar, but was never recognized for an individual film, despite receiving nominations for Psycho and other classic suspense thrillers.

But more recently, actors like Leonardo DiCaprio, Liam Neeson and Johnny Depp have failed to win awards against their colleagues and contemporaries, regardless of the fact that they’ve given some of the most unique, interesting, and perhaps most importantly, memorable performances in cinema history.

John Travolta has claimed he helped a car crash survivor who was suffering “constant pain” from a broken ankle by using a mysterious Scientology procedure called “an assist” — leaving the victim “noticeably better” afterwards.

The Saturday Night Fever star, who has been studying Scientology since 1975, spoke about the incident in the controversial religion’s latest edition of their publication, Celebrity Magazine.

“I was in Shanghai recently at a work event and the Master of Ceremonies’ best friend had recently gotten into a car wreck. He had broken his ankle and was in constant pain,” the 57-year-old revealed in an article titled “John Travolta: Stayin’ Very Alive.”

“I asked him permission to do some Scientology assists and he said, ‘Okay sure’.

“People were standing around watching as I did them. You could actually see him confronting the pain and after a while he looked up at me and said ‘I feel better’ so I said ‘Okay end of assist.’

“He had gotten noticeably better and I was chomping at the bit for more.”

The popular star and devout Scientologist spoke about how he liked to use his unorthodox skills to help people that he meets on the street.

According to the Scientology handbook, an ‘assist’ is a process whereby a Scientologist helps an individual to heal himself — or to be healed by another agency — by removing his or her reasons for precipitating and prolonging his condition and lessening their predisposition to further injure themselves or remain in an intolerable condition.

The TV and film icon, who holds 11 licenses to fly jet airplanes, credits the religion for helping him become such an accomplished aviator.

In the interview, Travolta reveals that he used to drive his aeronautics instructors crazy because he was so detailed in his requests about how every part of a plane worked.

“I’m a high school dropout. Now, what are the odds of a high school dropout having 11 jet licenses? Not very high. Well, with just a little bit of Study Technology under my belt found I could totally understand the subject and for that matter any subject that I chose,” he added.

Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston are enjoying being parents again to their infant son Benjamin Travolta, 2, after their son Jett, who suffered from autism, died at the age of 16. He hit his head in a bathtub at the family’s vacation home at the Old Bahama Hotel on the Grand Bahama Island in 2009.

And during a recent appearance on The Doctors, Preston opened up for the first time about Jett’s autism and what she believed caused it.

“He was autistic, he had seizures, and when he was very young he had Kawasaki syndrome. I strongly believe as a mother, as does my husband, that there are certain contributing factors that lead to autism,” Preston, 50, revealed.

For her, those included a bout of food poisoning while she was pregnant, her ‘fast and hard labor’ and taking antibiotics while breast feeding, which gave Jett thrush (a common yeast infection in the mouth which has been linked to a symptom of autism).

Travolta and Preston, who also have a 12-year-old daughter Ella, are among Scientology’s highest profile celebrities in Hollywood, as well as Tom Cruise, Kirstie Alley and Jenna Elfman.

After nearly four years, Kelly Preston is finally speaking out about the death of her son Jett Travolta.

During an upcoming appearance on The Doctors, Preston discusses the medical conditions that contributed to Jett’s passing in January 2009, when the 16-year-old died after suffering a seizure while at the family’s vacation house in the Bahamas.

“[Jett] was autistic. He had seizures and when he was very young, he had Kawasaki Syndrome,” John Travolta‘s wife says on the Nov. 21 episode of CBS talk show, according to People. “I strongly believe as a mother, as does my husband, that there are certain contributing factors that lead to autism and some of it is very much the chemicals in our environment and in our food.”

Though there is no singular known cause of autism, Preston suspects several elements led to Jett’s affliction, Kawasaki Syndrome, which can cause inflammation of the arteries. Those include her “fast and hard” labor and her use of antibiotics while breastfeeding her son. The latter caused Jett to contract thrush, a yeast infection that some studies have linked to symptoms of autism.

Preston goes on to advocate an organic lifestyle in the Doctors episode, which offers a look at how organic products are made at Alternative Laboratories. The actress believes that processed food contains chemicals and pesticides that can contribute to rising rates of autism in children.

Though John Travolta belongs to the controversial Church of Scientology — which does not acknowledge autism as an affliction — the actor acknowledged his son’s condition in the months following his death. “My son was autistic and suffered from seizure disorder,” Travolta said in a court testimony. “Every five to ten days he suffered seizures which lasted 45 seconds to a minute.”

Preston, 50, and Travolta, 58 — who are also parents to Ella, 12 — have had another son since Jett’s passing: Benjamin, who is now two years old.

Grease fans, get ready: Danny and Sandy are reuniting.

But it won’t be over leather trousers and  sweet Summer Lovin, because Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta are getting back together for a Christmas album.

The duo’s festive compilation will mark the first time they have made music together in over 30 years.

How electrifying are the tracks going to be?

This Christmas will not only feature Newton-John and Travolta but also special guests such as Tony Bennett, Barbra Streisand and Kenny G.

Proceeds will be donated to Travolta and Newton-John’s  charities — the Jett Travolta Foundation and Olivia-Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre in Melbourne.

“We felt a wonderful, joyful energy while recording this album,”  the Australian star said in a statement posted to her Facebook page. “We want to make a lot of people smile and happy. It’s a project that we’re hoping turns into a perennial, one that can continue to raise money for these causes year after year, a gift that keeps giving.”

The stocking stuffer will be available to buy on November 13 and will include tracks such as Baby It’s Cold Outside, Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and Silent Night.

“I wanted people to be able to play it around the house or in the car during the holidays and make us part of your celebration,”  Travolta said in the release. “Gathering around the house listening to Christmas music has always been an important part of that time of the year to my family.”

Although recent reports announced that John Travolta’s long-gestating film about mob boss John Gotti was in trouble, those close to the production insist that it’s moving ahead as planned.

“The film is proceeding and everyone is still on board,” Steve Hoenig, publicist for Fiore Films, producers of the project, told Celebuzz.

Hoening spoke with Celebuzz after Showbiz 411 published a story entitled, “The Real Story of Why the John Travolta ‘Gotti’ Film Fell Apart.”

An anonymous insider observed that outlets following the production “[have] been covering this story from the beginning with a shameful bias, based on [a] friendship with someone no longer affiliated with the project.

“Readers should not trust anything [that is written],” said the insider.

Yet another male massage therapist is dropping out of the lawsuit filed against John Travolta.

John Doe No. 2 has fired his lawyer and in turn has decided not to take legal action against the actor, 59, after he claimed in a suit filed last week that Travolta sexually harassed and groped him in January, CNN reports. The man’s lawyer, Okorie Okorocha, says he’s uncertain as to why his client, who resides in Atlanta, GA, decided to withdraw.

However, Travolta isn’t out of the woods yet.

John Doe No. 1, also a male massage therapist, may still be going after the Saturday Night Fever star, though he also withdrew from the suit. He claimed Travolta sexually harassed him at the Beverly Hills Hotel though the actor was able to prove that he was not in Los Angeles on the day specified but was rather across the country in New York City. .

Since dropping the suit, the man has hired lawyer Gloria Alred, known for representing clients like Tiger Woods‘ alleged mistress Rachel Uchitel. “We are in the process of conferring with him regarding the next steps, which he may wish to take,” Allred said of her client on Tuesday.

Alred clarified that John Doe No. 1 can file another suit because the dismissal of the first one was “without prejudice, which means that he is still legally entitled to file a lawsuit against John Travolta if he chooses.”

Meanwhile, Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are showing a united front. The actor shared publicly a Mother’s Day video he presented his wife and the mother of his children over the weekend. Check out some photos from the footage below:

UPDATE: Since first reporting that John Doe No. 2 had fired his lawyer, E! is reporting that he too has hired on Alred as his new attorney. “We are now representing John Doe No. 2,” Allred said in a statement. “We believe that the lawsuit should be filed in another court and, therefore, the lawsuit was dismissed without prejudice. We will be conferring with our client regarding what will happen next in this case.”

Embattled Hollywood couple John Travolta and Kelly Preston have rebuffed the sexual-battery allegations dogging their marriage, with the public release of a private video the actor gave his wife for Mother’s Day.

In a post on his website titled “A mother’s day gift for Kelly,” Travolta, 59, detailed how Preston “was so happy with my Mother’s Day video to her, we wanted to share it with you.”

The video — set to the song “That Face” by Barbra Streisand — begins with the Saturday Night Fever star telling his wife of 21 years, “From me, to you.”

It is scattered with private photos from the pair’s family album, including some of the wedding shots and never-bef0re-seen images of their three children, Jett, who died in 2009, Ella Bleu, 12, and Benjamin Hunter Kaleo, 18 months.

It also includes recent images of John kissing Kelly. The four-minute and 35-second video ends with the words: “With all my love, Johnny.”

On her website, 49-year-old Preston wrote about the unique gift, saying: “My husband, Johnny, made his directorial debut creating a special Mother’s Day video for me. I was so moved and love it so much that we wanted to share it with all of you. Happy Mother’s Day to anyone who mothers a child.”

It was posted to both of their sites on May 11, just days after sexual harassment allegations were lobbed against the actor.

As Celebuzz has reported, John Doe No. 1 alleged, in court papers, the Hollywood star groped him during a massage session in Beverly Hills in January, while John Doe No. 2 claimed that Travolta rubbed his leg, touched his genitals and tried to initiate sex at a private appointment at an Atlanta hotel on January 28.

John Doe No. 1 and attorney Okorie Okorocha parted ways Friday and withdrew their suit after Travolta presented contradictory evidence.

John Travolta is rejecting claims from a Caribbean cruise worker — the first of three alleged victims to give his name — who says the Hollywood megastar offered him $12 thousand for sex.

In a statement provided to Celebuzz, Travolta’s attorney called both the latest accusations “ridiculous” and suggested the man, Fabian Zanzi, was simply attempting to join the whirlwind of sexual harassment charges.

“This is just another ridiculous claim by someone hopping on the bandwagon to get his 15 minutes of fame with a story about something that supposedly happened over three years ago,” said Travolta’s high-powered attorney Martin Singer, whose Hollywood A-list client list has included Charlie Sheen, Demi Moore and Arnold Schwarzenegger, among others.

“At that time Zanzi’s supervisors did not believe him, confined him to his cabin, and subsequently fired him, according to media reports.”

Chile-born Zanzi, formerly of the Royal Caribbean cruise line, told South American media outlet ABC.es on Thursday, “[Travolta] had something on his neck. I thought it was a fuzz. As I approached, he took off his white coat and was naked. He hugged me and asked me to do a massage.”

“Significantly, we never heard of this guy before,” Singer added, in a statement sent exclusively to Celebuzz. “The fact that we are only hearing about him now through tabloid gossip stories three years later speaks volumes.”

Two other masseurs listed only under the name John Doe #1 and #1 have accused the Pulp Fiction star, 58, of improper behavior during massage sessions.

But even before the allegations are heard in court, Travolta’s camp has provided evidence to contradict some of the alleged victim’s claims, including private flight-tracking information and a costume designer vouching for his whereabouts.

Oh, baby, baby! John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preston happily strolled out and about with their baby Banjamin in the City of Lights, showering the little guy with affection. 

John and his fam were snapped by the paps after enjoying a nice family dinner at the famous Chinese restaurant, Dave, near the Palais Royal in Paris. Yum, yum! 

Benjamin was welcomed to the family this past November, a little over a year after the tragic death of their 16-year-old son Jett. After spending some time in seclusion, the family made their way back into the public eye – and back in front of the cameras.

John is currently connected to the big profile project GOTTI: In The Shadow Of My Father. He will play notorious mob boss John Gotti Sr. – Kelly is part pf the film, playing his wife. The movie is set for release in 2013. 

In the meantime, the family spent their Father’s Day (in part) by visiting the Eiffel Tower. Fun times! 

John Travolta and wife Kelly Preston are proud parents to a brand new baby boy!

Benjamin Travolta was born on Tuesday in Florida, tipping the scales at 8 lbs., 3 oz. according to a statement released to PEOPLE.

In the statement, the family says: “John, Kelly and their daughter Ella Bleu are ecstatic and very happy about the newest member of the family. Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.”

The birth of Benjamin isn’t just a miracle due to the fact that Preston is 48 years old. It also has massive emotional significance, as the family now has a new son in the family following the tragic death of 16-year-old Jett Travolta in early 2009.

Jett died following a fatal seizure while the family was on vacation in the Bahamas.

Sonja Tremont-Morgan, one of the new stars of Real Housewives of New York, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection on Wednesday in Manhattan.

The 46-year-old socialite listed $19.8 million in debt and $13.5 million in assets on her bankruptcy petition.

Sonja blamed her financial woes on a recent legal battle with Hannibal Pictures, Inc. over a failed movie project with John Travolta. Sonja claims that John demanded too much from her production company, Sonja Productions, and she was unable to meet his requests.

The film, Fast Flash to Bang Time, stopped production in 2006 and Hannibal Pictures filed a lawsuit against Sonja Productions in California and won a $7 million judgment. Sonja claims she was poorly represented during the case and claims she has filed an appeal.

Sonja also blames some of her financial woes on her painful (and unresolved) divorce with her husband, an alleged descendant of J.P. Morgan tycoon John Adams.

Sonja has also had her fair share of legal woes in the past few months – in June, Sonja was arrested for drunk driving in Long Island, NY.

Sonja isn’t the first member of the Housewives franchise to file bankruptcy, New Jersey star Teresa Giudice and her husband famously filed for bankruptcy earlier this year after bragging about their wealth to Bravo cameras.

The New York cast of Housewives is currently filming their fourth season.

Starring in a 3D concert movie isn’t cutting it for Justin Bieber. The teen dream wants to remake the much-loved musical Grease, with none other than Miley Cyrus as his leading lady.

“It’s been talked about a lot over the years but it would be awesome to play Danny,” Biebs told Britain’s The Sun.

With Biebs in the John Travolta role of tough guy/closet romantic Danny Zuko, he’s gunning for Miley as the object of his affection, Sandy Dumbrowski, (played in the film version by Olivia Newton-John.)

“I would go for Miley Cyrus without hesitation,” he said. “She can sing, dance and act.”

While he’s in casting mode, Baby Biebs also suggests vocal powerhouse Susan Boyle step in as a musically-inclined Principal McGee and hints that his crush, Cheryl Cole, “would look great in the Rydell High cheerleading uniform.”
