Can anyone unseat the reigning champion, The Hunger Games?

After the triumphant opening, the focus has now switched to this weekend’s box office battle and Celebuzz has your early look at the contenders. Let’s take a peek.

Two very big — yet very different — fantasy films go head to head. First up we have Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to 2010′s Clash of the Titans.

This installment focuses on Perseus (Sam Worthington) as he tries to live a quiet life with his 10-year-old son, Helius (John Bell). Meanwhile, a battle of power rages between the Gods and the Titans, played by Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes.

In another fantasy world, we have the first of two Snow White adaptations to be released this year, Mirror Mirror.

The film stars Lily Collins as Snow White, Armie Hammer as Prince Charming — and Julia Roberts as the evil queen. This version is much lighter and more fun than the darker Snow White and the Huntsmen, which releases in June. Mirror Mirror looks to be quite the romp and is bound to be a family favorite.

From the less fantasy, more real category, this weekend sees the premiere of the documentary Bully.

The much-hyped docu-film follows the lives of various teenagers as they deal with bullying in schools. This eye-opening view into the world of teens and bullies is a must see for anyone who is unaware of the severity of this national dilemma.

Did Richard Gere Diss ‘Pretty Woman’?

It was the movie that made him a heartthrob, but Richard Gere recently admitted his dislike for the rom-com Pretty Woman.

In a recent interview with Woman’s Day, the 62-year-old actor said, “It’s my least favorite thing. People ask me about that movie, but I’ve forgotten it. That was a silly romantic comedy. This is a much more serious movie that has some real cause and effect.”

What?! The 1990s film, about a call girl with a heart of gold (played by Julia Roberts) and a business man finding love, is considered by many to be a classic. The film also launched Gere and Roberts into superstardom.

Julia Roberts has landed on the April 2012 cover of Vanity Fair, in which she opens up about everything from her three kids to the perils of fame.

“There’s the express elevator and there’s rehab,” she said, on the fate of young actors in Hollywood today. “It’s so awful; nobody gets a fair trial-and-error period that everybody deserves and everybody needs.”

Meanwhile, Julia, who costars in Mirror Mirror with Lily Collins and Armie Hammer next month, also talked about her three children and how they are handling her fame.

“[O]n a crowded street, and somebody noticed me, and then another person noticed. Somebody said as we were walking past, ‘Oh, that’s Julia Roberts.’ We all just kind of kept going, and then Finn said, ‘Yeah, my mom’s Julia Robinson.’ That’s what gives you perspective. It could be Robinson, it could be Johnson, because it has nothing to do with me as a person.”

Lily Collins’ ‘Mirror Mirror’ Trailer Makes Debut — Which Snow White Film Will You See? (VIDEO)

Ever since it was announced that Kristen Stewart and Lily Collins would be filming seperate Snow White projects, people have been speculating which would be the fairest of the all, and now we can do a real, in-depth comparison!

In the newly released trailer for Mirror Mirror, we get our first real look at The Blind Side actress stepping into the famous role, as well as Julia Roberts as the evil queen and Armie Hammer as Prince Charming (a role he was born to play in our opinions.)

This version definitely looks more cheery, compared to the gritty Snow White and the Huntsman. But YOU be the judge! Check out both trailers, then cast your vote in the poll!

Snow White and the Huntsman also stars Charlize Theron as well as Chris Hemsworth, and hits theaters on June 1. Mirror Mirror makes its debut on March 16. Which one will YOU see?

It must be awesome when your mom or dad are the voices for some the world’s most famous animated movie characters!

Maybe the Jolie-Pitt brood could tell us. The young toddler’s famous A-list parents Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are no strangers to showing their gorgeous faces on the big screen, but since having kids, they’ve started lending their voices to some memorable animated characters.

While on a promo run for Megamind in which he played the role of a superhero, Brad shared with Access Hollywood just how important being in a kids movie can be, saying:

“Yeah, that’s how we choose our roles now — Will the kids like it? Will they like it when they get a little older? Is it a good location for the family,”

Of course it’s not just Brangelina that love doing family flicks. Stars such as Julia Roberts, Steve Carell and Nicole Kidman have all hit the big screen for the entertainment of their adorable little ones, perhaps as a way of giving their children something to watch that strays away from their usual PG-13 or R-Rated movies.

Viola Davis Reacts to Julia Roberts’ Remarks, Brings Elle Crowd to Their Feet

Viola Davis brought the crowd to their feet Monday night at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event when accepting her award, and Viola’s speech was definitely standing ovation worthy. Before we get to that, Celebuzz chatted with Davis about the kind words Julia Roberts had to say about her.

There is a remake in the works of Steel Magnolia’s with an all-black cast, and Julia told E! News that she approves, but says Viola needs to be in it.

“Oh Julia! That’s the first time I heard that,” Davis reacted with a genuine and surprised smile. “That woman is truly remarkable. Oh man, that is great. I would want the Sally Field role.”

Somehow we think the Oscar nominee, who is likely to nab another nomination this year for her work in The Help, may not have time for the Lifetime reboot. Still, Viola stressed to the star-studded crowd Monday the importance of roles for colored women:

“What keeps me in the business is hope, and that’s the hope that women of color are also part of the narrative…I’m sending a telepathic message to you: Every time some young actress of color comes in a room with a character they’re auditioning for that’s not ethnically specific, that you have a space in your brain that can open up and embrace them and allow them in, because I’m telling you, their lives are just as fascinating and multifaceted.”

The awards were made possible by Calvin Klein, David Yurman, and L’Oreal.

We’ve seen the photos of Kristen Stewart in costume for her rendition of Snow White, but now some stills of Lily Collins as the fairy tale character have surfaced!

Lily looks lovely as the classic character, while Julia Roberts fits the role perfectly of the Evil Queen, and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the handsome prince. However according to IMDB, this isn’t your typical Snow White tale. The website’s description reads:

“A dark twist on the classic fairy tale, in which Snow White and the seven dwarfs look to reclaim their destroyed kingdom.”

Sounds a little like the 1985 film Return to Oz. Meanwhile, K-Stew’s Snow White & The Huntsman looks very different. Check out those on set pics below!

Julia Roberts was snapped on the beach in Hawaii Tuesday with her surfer husband Danny Moder. The Oscar winning actress wore a two-piece dark blue tropical patterned bikini as she relaxed with her family.

The notoriously private Roberts wore a straw hat and white coverup before taking a little dip in the water.

She then built a beach type tent for one of her children to play under. How cute!

Julia is just one of the many stars who has picked Hawaii as their vacation destination this summer. Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon (also in blue) have been spotted relaxing as well.

Forbes Reveals Hollywood’s Top Paid Ladies: Kristen Stewart is Tied With Who?!

Forbes just put out their list of the highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, and most of the gorgeous faces shouldn’t come as a surprise. The list is based on how much these gals earned May 2010 – May 2011.

Angelina Jolie and Sarah Jessica Parker tie for number one.

But it’s who Kristen Stewart shares her spot with that we find interesting!

Kristen is tied for third on the power list with Julia Roberts (even though she’s listed sixth)! After Angie and SJP, Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon are tied at second raking in $28 million and K.Stew and Julia are next with $20.

That’s quite the honor for Stewart- who is by far the youngest actress on the list at 21- to share with an Oscar winner!

Finishing out the top 10 respectively: Katherine Heigl, Cameron Diaz, Sandra Bullock, and Meryl Streep.

With all the hype around the Royal couple coming to Los Angeles, in addition to reports that Kate Middleton is distant cousins with author Jane Austen, it was only fair we take a close look behind their royal family background. Prince William, The Duke of Cambridge is said to be the 12th cousin of Hollywood’s very own royalty, Marilyn Monroe.

So, which other celebrities have famous relatives?

What do Ellen Degeneres and Madonna have in common, besides ravishing good looks? A family tree! According to reports, Degeneres and Madonna are related through their 10th great-grandfather making them 11th cousins. After finding out about their family relations, it’s no wonder that they both know how to break it down on the dance floor.

Celebrities are not the only ones who seem to be related to other celebrities. Lets throw some politicians into the game. President Barack Obama and Brad Pitt are said to be 9th cousins, but it doesn’t stop there. Hillary Clinton and Angelina Jolie are 9th cousins twice removed. If these family ties decided to have Thanksgiving dinner together, they will need to have a larger dinner table.

Box Office Battle: ‘Transformers 3′ vs. ‘Monte Carlo’ vs. ‘Larry Crowne’ (POLL)

While Transformers 3 may have gotten a head start in the box office, there may be quite the showdown when Monte Carlo, and Larry Crowne make their big debut this Friday.

With Selena Gomez’s album released just a few days earlier, everything SelGo has been at the top of the charts lately. So have your passports ready as you dive into a Parisian vacation that is sure to be any viewer’s idea of the perfect getaway. Leighton Meester is also co-starring in this feature film — could this be an advantage?

Even though Selena has become the “it” girl, Larry Crowne has something that Monte Carlo doesn’t.

And that’s Tom Hanks! Larry Crowne is definitely a movie geared towards a different demographic and could definitely give Monte Carlo a run for it’s money. Beloved T-Hanks stars alongside of the effortless beauty, Julia Roberts. Nothing like adding a Pretty Woman to a film to set sales soaring.

Julia Roberts Glows, Tom Hanks Scoots at ‘Larry Crowne’ Premiere (PHOTOS)

Julia Roberts and Tom Hanks are together again! The two superstars were all smiles at the Larry Crowne premeire in Los Angeles on Monday, June 26. Julia looked gorgeous in a black suit and green jewels while Tom made a dramatic arrival in the film’s title-character’s Vespa.

Other stars in attendance included supermodel Selita Ebanks and Wilmer Valderrama, who plays a jealous boyfriend in the film. Wilmer recently sat down with Celebuzz and had nothing but good things to say about working with Hanks, who directed and co-wrote the film, and the rest of the cast. “Between the actors and the material, it was a love affair,” Wilmer told Celebuzz. “It was amazing to be on set.”

Inside the event is was a mini-That 70′s Show reunion as Wilmer mingled with his former co-stars, Danny Masterson and Topher Grace. Wilmer continued the fun at the official afterparty at Rolling Stone Café sponsored by Voli Light Vodka.

Fashion Flashback: Reese Witherspoon vs. Julia Roberts

Reese Witherspoon was channeling 60s retro glam on the Academy Awards red carpet, but that wasn’t the only thing she was channeling — it looks like she took some fashion cues from Julia Roberts‘ 2001 Oscars look as well!

Not only did Reese’s Armani Prive frock mimic Julia’s vintage black and white Valentino gown, but the 32-year-old actress’ full ponytail was eerily similar to Julia’s look, too. Both even wore drop down earrings!
