Julianne plays former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin in the made for TV film. The movie captures John McCain‘s 2008 presidential race where Sarah was his Vice President nominee.

In HBO’s latest film, Game Change, Julianne Moore takes on the role of Sarah Palin (the 2008 vice presidential Republican nominee) and is so dead on in her portrayal, it’s a little scary. Documenting her rise from Alaskan governor to VP nominee, and the many infamous moments that came from her campaign (“I can see Russia from my house!”), the film debuts on HBO this March.

Julianne wouldn’t be the first actress to take on the role of a real life person.

Ten years ago, Jerry Seinfeld‘s wife Jessica started Baby Buggy, a non profit provides essential gear, clothing, and educational services to families in need, and on Tuesday night, plenty of stars came to celebrate!

So, who was in attendance?

Held at Avery Fisher Hall in the big apple, Kelly Ripa, her hubby Mark Consuelos, Hugh Jackman and Julianne Moore all came out for event supporting this great cause!

Mark even quipped about replacing recently retired Regis Philbin on Live! With Kelly and said:

“Your my co-host in life, so I don’t need to co-host your show. And no we are not having any more kids!”

Last year, bright colors were popping up all over the runway in many designers’ Spring/Summer and Resort collections. Now that the trend has finally caught on, it has progressed to be one of the most prominent of the upcoming year.

Every big-name designer from Chanel to Valentino to Prada has included neon pieces in their recent collections. And this past September, there were even some collections that featured a majority of neon looks like Nanette Lepore and Christian Siriano.

Of course, fashion divas like Nicki Minaj have always rocked neons, but recently, other stars like Kristin Cavallari, Blake Lively, Kourtney Kardashian, and Gwyneth Paltrow have been spotted in short, bright dresses at VIP events.

Screen sirens Natalie Portman and Kirsten Dunst were seen wearing neon blue to different award shows and celebs Julianne Moore, Jennifer Lawrence, Diane Kruger, and Brooklyn Decker have all popped in long pink gowns on the red carpet. Even if red carpeting doesn’t exactly coordinate with neon pink, that didn’t stop these stars from successfully trying the trend.

The neon trend not only applies to fashion, but to beauty as well. Try a hot pink or coral lip like Emma Stone, Emily Blunt, and Kelly Osbourne to instantly kick your look up to the next level. To really make a statement, go for neon hair like Katy Perry and Lady Gaga do so “naturally”.

New Yorkers for Children—which creates programs and funds to support services for children in foster care in New York City—held its Fall Gala at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York last night, drawing in a slew of big-hearted stars for the black-tie event.

Among those who turned up for the soiree—which featured a performance by SNL alum Jimmy Fallon—were Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Blake Lively, Josh Lucas, Taylor Momsen, Julianne Moore and Robert Buckley, who seems willing to give the shirt off his back for any cause.

Way to give back, folks. And when you’ve finished taking care of disadvantaged kids, maybe you can apply your philanthropic efforts to the world’s at-risk adults.
