The past year has been a rough time for Miley’s relationship status – the former Hannah Montana star has been linked to three different men, including on-again, off-again beau Liam Hemsworth and, most recently, Victorious star Avan Jogia.

According to E!’s Ted Casablanca, 17-year-old Miley (understandably) isn’t ready to “settle down” with her 20-year-old beau, who she called her first serious boyfriend. (Sorry Justin Gaston!)

“Miley has been super focused on her work,” an “insider” tells E!. “Liam wanted more, but she’s 17 and has other priorities right now. He’s been a distraction.”

The pesky rumor mill has already begun churning, saying Miley’s eye wandered to her LOL co-star Adam Sevani, with whom she has been hanging on the Detroit movie set. But according to Casablanca, “Miley’s not with anybody else.”

In a sad twist of fate, The Last Song, the movie on which Miley and Liam met and fell for each other, is killing it in new DVD sales, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The Hannah Montana star’s former beau, Justin Gaston, strips down in the name of animal rights in a new PETA ad, along with fellow If I Can Dream castmates Giglianne Braga and Ben Elliot.

Says Gaston of the flesh-friendly endeavor,

“With this PETA campaign, what I really wanted was it not to be about me but to be about the animals. We’re trying to bring light to this cause.”

Clearly, Gaston will bring out the animal in many who gaze upon this image of his unclothed bod. Mission accomplished, good sir!

According to Lindsay’s Twitter, her ex-girlfriend spit in her face at a party and left with Miley Cyrus‘s ex-boyfriend, Justin Gaston:

Fun @coachella but tonight @ my friernds [sic] bday party, @samantharonson spit in my face and left w/ @mileycyrus ‘s ex

Lindsay had also tweeted earlier that Justin was being pursued by a gaggle of gay celebrity hanger-ons and the soon-to-be-married Katy Perry:

Earlier in the night Lohan had tweeted that she was hanging out with Samantha but she had been saying positive things about her ex. So either a big blowout happened or Lindsay was just trying to make a joke. Or maybe her account was hacked! Although it wouldn’t surprise us that Lindsay was the last person on Earth to realize that Miley quit Twitter a long time ago.

So is Lindsay the subject of some bullying by some famous “ex-lover of” celebrities? And why is she tweeting about Katy Perry hitting on Justin, isn’t that breaking the celebrity code?

Yep, the same guy that set his 16-year-old daughter up with a then 20-year-old Justin Gaston is actually ticked off about his daughter’s new love.

Even though at 18 years old, Liam is much closer in age to Miley, the “all-controlling” Billy Ray is worried the young couple’s relationship is ”going too far, too fast.”

A source tells the Chicago Sun-Times that Miley and her dad are constantly fighting about Liam and it’s “causing a lot of conflict in the family.”

Justin’s tweet: “Just recorded a demo.. Now I’m sitting on the couch wondering why we as humans try to pretend everything’s okay when it isn’t.. Just be real”

Miley’s tweet later that day: “Everything IS ok. Honestly. I can’t change you’re mind and your heart no longer belongs to me. Maybe YOU’RE the one pretending you’re fine.“

Yesterday, we told you about Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston‘s recent tweets to each other that seem awfully friendly, considering she supposedly dumped him last month for Nick Jonas.

Today, the mystery continues:

She tweeted, “When did being happy become like committing a crime?”

Umm…those are definitely lyrics from one of Justin’s songs!

Then, another clue came, when she said “I would do anything to be in Franklin right now. I miss you Tennessee. :)”

Guess who’s living in Tennessee these days? Yep, J-Gaston himself.

Justin responded with some love-dovey song lyrics from crooner Marc Broussard. “Dance for me sweetheart while I strum my guitar. You sure look pretty tonight. I’ve just come off the road and I could use the company.”

Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle announced their break-up yesterday, and there could be evidence indicating that this isn’t the only split happening on the Jonas front.

If Miley Cyrus‘ tweets are to be taken seriously, it seems like she’s looking to spark things back up with ex-boyfriend Justin Gaston.

Last week, the 16-year-old star, who is supposedly dating Nick Jonas, tweeted, “Listening to Comfortable and thinking of you. I miss your voice.”

Anyone who follows Justin on twitter knows how big of a John Mayer fan he is. And, yes, he tweeted something special back to his former lady love. He said, “Listening to ‘I loved you, grey sweatpants, no makeup, so perfect’ and you know it’s true”

Then on Sunday, Miley tweeted at Justin again, saying “@justinmgaston why in every picture of you as a kid are you eating ice cream? =]”

But, alas! J-Gas has yet to respond to Miley’s latest message. Is someone playing a little hard to get?

E! Online reports that the Hannah Montana star has, in fact, broken up with her underwear-model boyfriend, Justin Gaston, and from the looks of these photos it seems like she didn’t even wait for the relationship to cool off before running back into the arms of her ex-boyfriend, Nick Jonas.

According to reports, Cyrus called things off with Gaston last week as she prepared to leave Los Angeles to film the Nicolas Sparks movie The Last Song in Savannah, Georgia. The break-up seemed to be confirmed by a couple of teary-eyed tweets that Cyrus and Gaston posted yesterday.

Sources say that—ahem—a certain former flame of Cyrus’ may have played a part in the split.

Cyrus and Jonas were together in Malibu, California, on Sunday, filming a video for the song “Send it On,” and between takes they got awfully close to each other.

And yet, Kris Allen and Justin Gaston have more in common than one might at first assume.

Both have recently recorded versions of the Beatles classic “Yesterday”—Gaston in a YouTube video, and Allen during a guest appearance on former Arkansas governor and GOP Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee‘s Fox News program. (Huckabee even accompanies Allen on the bass.)

Miley Cyrus has been making the rounds in Europe, promoting Hannah Montana: The Movie, and she’s finally back! And, of course, she spent her first afternoon with boyfriend Justin Gaston, her mom Tish, and sister Brandi.

Justin looks like he’s been filling his lonely heart with plenty of time at the gym, because his arms were definitely not this big before! He was also probably relieved to sit and chat face-to-face with his girlfriend, who has been at the center of rumors that she has secretly been hooking up with ex-boyfriend Nick Jonas.

Sick and tired of the Jonas talk, Miley also sent another message on twitter, saying, “theres a difference between lying and keeping my personal life private, which is what in trying to do. if u love me let me.”

It looked like Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas had finally squashed their beef in the first months of 2009: collaborating on songs together, meeting for lunches, even surviving their first car accident together. 

Now, it seems like the two have taken things even further. The former couple, who dated for two years, is rumored to crushing on each other again. The NY Daily News reports that the two are very “sweet together” and that they “want to get back together.”

A source reveals, “Miley was over at the Jonas house recently, and they were smooching. Nick’s parents have this rule that when a girl is over, the door has to be open, but that didn’t stop Nick and Miley from making out.”

Wait…what about Miley’s super-hot, 20-year-old boyfriend Justin Gaston? Apparently she wants to break it off, but is hesitant to give him the bad news.

“She doesn’t know how to tell Justin that they’re over, but Nick is being very firm with her. He’s a good, stand-up kind of guy, and is making Miley tell Justin very, very soon,” the source adds. “He’s being tough about it.”

Miley has been busy overseas promoting her new hit movie, Hannah Montana: The Movie, and hasn’t been spotted with Justin in weeks. Has Justin’s over-the-top preaching turned Miley away? 

A rep for Nick said, “We have no comment on our client’s personal life,” while Miley’s camp didn’t return any comment.

Gaston’s better (or at least more famous) half, Miley Cyrus, claims that he’s brought her closer to God since the two hooked up.

“I’ve never been closer to the Lord since I met him,” the Hannah Montana star declares on Friday’s episode of The Rachael Ray Show, according to Us Magazine.

“He’s really made me read my Bible. He’s made me actually read the stories in the Bible —not the quick little verses—that not only help me, but show you how to help other people.”

Makes sense. After all, much like the Almighty, Justin has the whole word in his hands. Well, he has something in his hands, anyway.

But they weren’t alone. Someone was watching them.

One has to wonder why a 47-year-old man would opt for a hairstyle similar to his 16-year-old daughter’s, but the Cyrus clan is making scads of money so he must be doing something right. Besides, the new ‘do is a lot less unsightly than the Kentucky waterfall he sported during his “Achy Breaky Heart” heyday.

Miley and boyfriend Justin Gaston met up with her parents, but Miley exited the church arm-in-arm with her dad.

The singer recently reported on her snub by favorite band Radiohead at this year’s Grammy ceremony.

Cyrus says that the reclusive British band declined a requested meeting with her.

The band’s publicist recently released a response to Cyrus’ complaints, according to British music newspaper New Musical Express.

“When Miley grows up, she’ll learn not to have such a sense of entitlement,” their rep offered.

They were probably just scared away by her dad’s hair.

But her poor puppy had to spend his Saturday looking out from inside a bag. Are dogs even allowed in restaurants unless they’re trained to assist a patron with a health issue?
