Dancing With the Stars beauty Karina Smirnoff was showing off her bikini bod in Hawaii on Tuesday as she frolicked on the beach. Flaunting her toned bod, Karina also did some paddleboarding in a teeny blue bikini as she enjoyed some time off.

While the latest season of DWTS isn’t set to premiere for a little over a month or so, there are already talks of who could possible join the cast.

Karina and her partner, actor JR Martinez, took the mirror ball trophy home last season, but this next season, there’s one person in particular that the producers have their eye on. That’s Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow! Of course it’s just speculation at this point, but we think that would be lots of fun!

He and celebrity partner Hope Solo were ousted this week, prompting the dance pro to say J.R. Martinez should win — even though he won’t be congratulating J.R.’s partner Karina Smirnoff. 

According to Maks, the two haven’t spoken since they broke up in 2009.

The two were engaged to be married, but broke things off. Although they continue to work together, they apparently don’t talk. 

“I will never speak to that person again,” he told the New York Post when asked about Karina. “And I never have. It has been years now. But I am not bitter.”

He added that it’s “not easy” to work on DWTS together, “But I just go about my business and do my thing. It is very hard.”

Still, he praised Karina’s partner, saying, “If J.R. doesn’t win, there is something fundamentally wrong with America,” adding that J.R. “deserves it … It is his right to walk into ‘Dancing With The Stars’ and walk away with the trophy. But on top of all of that, he is a great dancer.”

“You know, I’ve heard about Dina Lohan wanting to be on the show for a few seasons now,” she tells Hollyscoop. “The Lohan family is very outspoken and they’re always present in the press, so I wouldn’t be surprised if at least one of the Lohans ends up on DWTS.”

Meanwhile, she has a wish list of partners this season — including hottie John Stamos!

“I’m more interested in the male celebrities only because that would be my partner,” she says. Of particular interest is Mr. Stamos. I think he’s got the looks, He’s got the experience of being onstage, doing Broadway,” she said of the performer.

The new season of DWTS premiers September 19 on ABC — although contestants and their pro partners are usually announced in the weeks prior. For the official match-ups, the world will have to stay tuned for the network’s announcement. 

Held at Siren Studios in the heart of Hollywood, everything (and everyone) was seeing blue. From blue lighting, to cocktails and even clothing, there was a slew of celebs who had the blues.

There were also a number of performances including Greyson Chance and a late-night Darren Criss acoustic sesh. So, who else was in attendance?

Celebs like Raven Symone, Nickelodeon stars Avan Jogia and Victoria Justice, as well as television personality Ross Matthews were all seen, and at one point there was even a dance-off between Dancing with the Stars professional Louis Van Amstel and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Taylor Armstrong. Do we smell a contender for next season?

Modern Family‘s Jesse Tyler Ferguson was also spotted looking cozy with his boyfriend Justin Mitka as they watched performaces by Debbie Gibson and Macy Gray.

While there were rumors of a Selena Gomez appearance, Justin Bieber‘s right hand man Jon M. Chu (who was hanging with Glee‘s Harry Shum Jr.) remained coy about the possible appearance when we chatted with him last night.

Last night also marked the debut of Perez’s latest undertaking — an adorable boy band! While there name currently can’t be disclosed, they were definitely a talented bunch who sang and danced their hearts out. (Keep an eye out for the adorable mini-Bruno Mars).

The highlight of the night was easily Glee crooner Darren Criss’ 1 am acoustic set, where he sang “Part of Your World,” and yes, even “Teenage Dream.”

There had also been rumors circulating that Lady Gaga would make a special apperance and close the night with a performance,but the night ended with an encore of burlesque dancer Dita von Teese. Also, in lieu of gifts, attendees were encouraged to donate to GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network.

]]> Last night’s Dancing with the Stars ended with a Situation elimination… and a bit of poor sportsmanship (dancemanship?) from the Jersey Shore’s chief fist pumper.

It came down to Bristol Palin and The Sitch, but he was the one who got the boot for an Argentine Tango that some called the worst in show history! Though he stormed off the Dancing set Monday night after tough judge Bruno Tonioli called his routine a “terrible mess,” The Sitch attempted to go the humble route in his on-air post-elimination interview.

“It is what it is. I tried my best and at the end of the day somebody’s got to go home,” he said. “If I made it to the fourth round, that was my best I guess.”

The Shore star swore he gave it his all, seeming to take comfort in some high points, like last week’s futuristic foxtrot.

“I’m not a dancer and I tried to practice. It’s definitely hard,” he added. “On Jersey Shore, you get a little keyhole into who I am. On Dancing with the Stars, you got to see the real Situation.”

But while The Sitch played it classy on the air, he skipped post-show interviews with reporters backstage, according to E!, which points out that “that never happens with DWTS eliminates,” (most of whom like to close out their final 15 minutes of fame.)

The Sitch’s partner Karina Smirnoff said he might have been an actual sore loser, after complaining of a wisdom tooth or sore throat prior to the taping.

Two new promo photos for the new season of DWTS—which premieres on Monday—have been released, featuring Jersey Shore stud Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his professional partner, Karina Smirnoff, in what just might be the most phenomenal display of abdominal-muscle glory ever known to mankind. How sizzling does the Sitch look in his black vest and skin-tight pants, anyway? (And, hey—Smirnoff’s not looking too shabby either.)

E! Online reports that Karina and Maksim, who called off their engagement a mere two weeks ago, caused a major scene before and after their dance performance last night.

Says an eyewitness from backstage, where the sparks flew,

“They were going at it, screaming at each other. He said she was taking too long in hair and makeup. It got kind of loud.”

Shocking. Truly shocking.

Dancing With the Stars‘ Karina Smirnoff and Maksim Chmerkovskiy have split up after a year-long relationship. The two became engaged in December.

Super-hot Dancing With The Stars alum Karina Smirnoff is absolutely dying to have the actor as her dance partner in the next season of the show.

“I have always wanted to meet Keanu Reeves,” she tells Us. “I’ve said it for, like, eight seasons, and it doesn’t seem that he’s gotten the message. He hasn’t responded, so I’m starting to give up.”

Keanu and Karina, together on stage and cutting a rug? Sounds like a dream come true.

Both dancers have struggled with injuries and consistently low scores. Even Woz’s stellar worm couldn’t save him.

“This is a great show, a great process, a great system,” Wozniak enthused about his experience, even though he had broken his foot and pulled a hamstring during the competition.

He went on to say that he felt “like the luckiest person in the world” for having been able to take part. His elimination also spelled the end for partner Karina Smirnoff.

As for Madison, a last-minute replacement for Jewel, she tried to focus on the pretty sequins.

“It was a lot physically harder than I thought it was going to be, but it was so much fun and I’m so glad l got a chance to do it,” she said. “And I still love the costumes—that’s still my favorite part.”

It was revealed that dancers will perform the paso doble or the Viennese waltz on next week’s show.

But it won’t be the same without Computer Bear dodging elimination.

The Apple co-founder reveals to The Insider that Smirnoff has offered him a very special role in her upcoming nuptials to fellow hoofer Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

“She said I could walk her down the aisle, and it touched my heart,” Wozniak says.

Hopefully, Wozniak can stay healthy long enough to walk her down the aisle. So far on his Dancing With the Stars stint he’s suffered a fractured foot and a pulled hamstring.

It would probably make for an awkward wedding moment if he has to lead Karina toward the altar on crutches.

Smirnoff tells OK! Magazine that, while she’s been charged with making the arrangements, she’s following Chermkovskiy’s blueprint. “He’s leaving it up to me to do it his way!” the professional hoofer notes. 

And so far, it looks like that means a lavish affair, despite Smirnoff’s preference for a more intimate ceremony.

“At the rate it’s going, it will be huge,” Smirnoff reveals. “I’d rather have a small party, but a huge honeymoon in Bora Bora.” But, she adds, “I’m  easy. If he wants a big wedding with a band, we’ll do it.”

Also creating the need for compromise are Smirnoff and Chermkovskiy’s religious backgrounds. While both are half-Jewish, Smirnoff leans more toward Christianity. “I think we’d have a priest and a rabbi,” Smirnoff offers.

Sounds like a lot of give-and-take, but Smirnoff isn’t complaining. She’s just happy to have found lasting love.

“I’ve had my share of frogs that I’ve had to kiss until I found my prince,” she admits.

Hey—is that  a dig at her former boyfriend Mario Lopez?

America gasped in shock, and even Smirnoff screamed when it was announced that her and the injured Computer Bear were staying.

Woz had the quote of the evening when he admitted that “I’m more shocked than any time in my life except when I was served with divorce papers.”

Their samba score was the lowest since Master P‘s in the second season.

Bruno Tonoli even told them to “beg forgiveness.” 

Last night came down to a dance-off between Girl Next Door Holly Madison and Charlie Sheen‘s worst nightmare – his ex-wife Denise Richards.

Denise and her partner, the bare-chested Maksim Chmerkovskiy were ousted despite gaining another four points for their samba.

Richards stayed positive about her loss, according to E!.

My daughters love my dancing,” she said. “It’s been fun, I’m a huge fan of the show and I will continue to be so, and it’s fun being on the other side.”

The other high point of last night was when season seven sparkplug of dementia Cloris Leachman returned to demonstrate next week’s dances with partner Corky Ballas.

She’s been missed.

Computer Bear delighted the audience by giving it his all. Too bad the judges didn’t agree. He and partner Karina Smirnoff only scored a 10 out of 30 for their samba. Evil!

“At some point, the novelty wears off,” Carrie Ann Inaba sniffed, as reported by A+E.

Judge Bruno Tonielli did Inaba won better and referred to it as “the worst samba ever.” Ever?

The judges received boos from the audience.

There were actually some dancers that the judges  felt made the grade. Lil’ Kim was told that she was “a pocket-size Venus with a super-size sex appeal!” by Bruno and scored a 25.

And Sex and the City movie heartthrob Gilles Marini was told that he “made a hard dance look easy,” by Len and awarded a 27.

The results show will air Tuesday night on ABC. Pray for Woz!

The 29-year-old Dancing With the Stars hoofer and his fellow DWTS dancer Karina Smirnoff, enjoyed a little PDA while dining at  the Ivy restaurant in Beverly Hills on Saturday.

Apparently, nothing works up an appetite quite like a heavy-duty smooch session while waiting for your meal.

According to reports, Smirnoff and Chmerkovskiy got engaged in January. Nice to see that the passion still hasn’t dimmed—two months is practically an eternity in show-biz relationships.

Of course, Maksim is paired up with the notoriously difficult Denise Richards on this season of Dancing With the Stars, so he’s probably just ecstatic to be hanging out with any other woman.

Last week, host Samantha Harris took dancers Karina Smirnoff and Kim Johnson along with contestant Denise Richards to Los Angeles’ Four Seasos Hotel, where the well-heeled women enjoyed a spa day.

Such must be the reasoning behind the announced wedding plans for Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Karina Smirnoff of Dancing With the Stars.  Maksim, 28, and Karina, 30, have been outed to People as a pair of hopeless romantics.

Sources say that, while in Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve, Maksim bent his knee and begged his girlfriend of six months for her hand in marriage.  Until February, the professional dancers will be featured performers on the Dancing With the Stars winter tour. They are said to have spent their holiday break at the Wynn Hotel in Vegas.

Smirnoff was famously dumped by dimple model Mario Lopez last year.  After the breakup, Karina was reduced to tears on television while discussing allegations that Lopez had been cheating on her for about a year with former Hooters calendar girl Meaghan Cooper.

Karina should have no such problems with Maksim.  Provided, of course, she doesn’t develop a Jennifer Love Hewitt situation.

Why, look at champion Dancing with the Stars babe Karina Smirnoff.  Sure, her partner on this season’s show, Rocco DiSpirito, was axed last week for having all the coordination of a one-legged hobo. Does this get Karina down? Never!!

And, yes, Karina embarked on a failed romance with Mario Lopez that crashed and burned with the intensity of a hundred suns—no, make that a thousand suns.  Do you see her contemplating a dive off a downtown L.A. high-rise? No!!!

Also, when this dancing sensation discovered that her man had a secret row of women’s shoes in his closet, she didn’t guzzle a fistful of pills…

Well, okay, she did go on national TV and cry about the incident. But still, she mixed tears with a smile.

Karina Smirnoff, folks, is a beacon of happiness. The world could learn a lot from her example.
