The 43-year-old motorcycle mogul became a public enemy when he allegedly cheated on Oscar-winner and then-wife Sandra Bullock. Now, James is speaking out and admitting his wrongs.

“If I could go back and change the way I did things, and not hurt people, and not do things the way I did, of course I would do it that way,” he told omg! from Yahoo. ”I would never consciously bring pain to anyone, especially the people I love. It is something that I have to live with.”

“I think people will probably think since I’m doing well now and since I’m happy that I don’t have any sorrow or regret for what I did, which couldn’t be further from the truth. There’ll never be a day that goes by for the rest of my life that I don’t regret it,” he admitted.

After model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee went public with their affair, things went sour with James and Bullock, 47, and the pair officially split in 2010.

He has since dated Kat Von D but the couple went their separate ways in 2011. After an on-and-off engagement with the tattoo artist, marriage is no longer in the cards for the reality TV star.

“I just don’t have a place for it anymore,” he said. “Everything is so good with the kids, I have so much creative drive with my work and I’m connected with all my tools again on a level that I’ve never been. I don’t want to screw up the balance and the goodness of all that. And I think the thing that doesn’t fit into that equation is having a relationship.”

He added, ”I stood up like a man and admitted my wrongs and what I did and all that did is make every s*** tabloid everywhere across the world come after me even harder. I’m strong. I can take it.”

Tattoo artist Kat Von D was the gal who stepped out wearing these sandals. The LA Ink owner paired the mismatched shoes with peculiar ripped leather bottoms that included tights with faces printed on them.  All smiles, Kat had her hoodie on, dark sunglasses and a printed T-shirt.

The two tatted-up celebs got together following Jesse’s extremely public breakup with Sandra Bullock where it was revealed that he also cheated on her, Michelle “Bombshell” McGee being the most infamous of the alleged mistresses. Kat admitted that she does deserve an “I told you so.”

“I know I deserve a big fat  ‘I told you so,’ from everyone, and wish I didn’t have to say, “You all were more right than you’ll ever know” but you were,” she wrote. “Not to worry, I’ve gladly paid the consequences for every mistake I’ve ever made, but learned so much from each of them.”

She concluded her Facebook post writing, “Time is something you can never get back, and what we do with this very present moment is the most real thing we have. So if that’s the lesson Jesse forced me to face and learn by all of this, than all I can say is Thank You.”

“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life,” Jesse told People. “It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”

While Kat has plenty of reason to celebrate (she just tweeted a photo embracing Jes), it seems she isn’t too pleased with TLC canceling her show.

The heavily tattooed reality babe also took to Twitter to express her dissatisfaction with the recent news surrounding her reality series LA Ink: “I love how me deciding to not continue doing LA Ink, turns into being “cancelled.” Thanks @TLC. Regardless of everything I remain grateful.”

She went on to tell People that she’s unhappy with how they’re ending her four-year run and feels they are editing the show in a way that is untrue.

“In an effort to capitalize on my recent breakup, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn’t happen while filming,” she says. “I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and viewers.”

However, she did express some appreciation to the network for making her a TV persona. 

“As grateful as I am to have been a part of a show like LA Ink,  I’m ready to end this chapter and want to focus on other projects now,” she added.

Celebuzz talked to Andrew Streyer, a certified gemologist and Director of Evaluations for Pawngo.com, to evaluate their sparklers. Andrew says it’s actually very common for a former bride-to-be to sell her engagement ring, rather than give it back to the man who popped the question. Hey, he GAVE it to her, ok? 

How much does he value these celebrity diamonds?

Firstly, he says, “A stylish setting, or designer setting, will net you more money, but either way most of the money is in the diamond.”

With that in mind, he says the market value for each of the rings is vastly different — with Kat Von D’s being the most expensive. 

He says the tattooed reality babe could fetch $325,000 for her ring, depending on the clarity and color. 

Meanwhile, he values Kristin’s ring at $70,000 at wholesale or auction and Crystal’s ring at “possibly $45,000.”

If they do decide to sell, they should do it quickly, because Andrew says the price won’t likely be any more due to their celebrity status. “Maybe in the short term, the glamour is still there, but usually not much more,” he says.

LA Ink mogul Kat Von D and The Hills star Kristin Cavallari are the most recent Hollywood celebs to call off their engagements.

Kat  and (now) ex-fiance Jesse James were planning to tie the knot and have a summer wedding, but their long-distance relationship proved to be too much. Von D shoots her reality show in LA, and James’ home is outside of Austin, Texas where he stays with his kids.

“I’m so sad because I really love her,” James tells PEOPLE exclusively. “The distance between us was just too much.”

Von D isn’t the only single lady, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler ended his engagement to the reality star on Sunday after being together for only ten months.

“She is very upset,” an insider close to Cavallari tells Celebuzz. “Kristin put a lot of effort into this relationship, especially since they lived in different cities. She was always so supportive of his career.”

Kat, 28, reportedly had the ring specially made by jeweler-to-the-stars, Neil Lane. The ring is described at a four-carat-plus platinum and diamond ring from Neil’s archival collection.

“It’s a beautiful ring set with a central round diamond in the middle with smaller surrounding diamonds for an overall dome shape,” Neil told People. “It has a delicate filigree pattern with very pretty scroll-work.”

Jesse and Kat announced their engagement on Thursday, January 20. The pair started dating in the summer of 2010, shortly after Jesse divorced Sandra Bullock following a massive cheating scandal.

The two started dating last summer, after Jesse’s marriage to Sandra Bullock ended due to the exposure of Jesse’s numerous extramarital affairs.

The tattooed duo chatted with People about their engagement, and Jesse said:

“You know sometimes the public and press gets it wrong. This is one of those times. 2010 was actually the best year of my life because I fell in love with my best friend. An amazing woman who stood behind me when the world turned their backs.”

The LA Ink star added:

“There is no one else for me. He’s the one.”

The couple did not mention when the union would take place, but Kat did talk about the possibility of ditching LA for Texas, saying:

“In the end, home is where the heart is, and my heart’s with him.”

The inked-up couple held hands, granted interviews and posed for pictures together… and then there was the gushing. Kat, 28, told People that their romance is pretty serious (at least for her.)

“Jesse is only my ninth boyfriend. I don’t hang out with anybody unless I am in love,” she said.

The pair is now admitting they’re into each other after attempting the token “we’re just friends” denial, which was botched when she tweeted and deleted a confirmation of their hookup. Now she’s going so far as to announce she thinks newly-divorced Jesse, 41, is “The One” for her, saying, “I believe he is…yeah.”

Jesse was less chatty about his new girlfriend, hinting that they weren’t exactly ready to go public with their relationship, but were forced to by a steady flow of paparazzi pics.

“It came out the hard way and that’s sad,” he told Hollywood Life, “But [now] I’m happy.”

Considering Jesse was pretty much labeled globally undatable after his scandalous split from Sandra Bullock, Kat was naturally asked what drew her to him.

“[He's sexy because] of how intelligent and sensitive he is,” she said. “And of course tattoos are always sexy.”

So there you have it, folks. Jesse James and Kat Von D are an official couple.

Bullock didn’t dish about ex Jesse James (or his apparent new girlfriend Kat Von D,) with NBC’s Matt Lauer, instead focusing on her son Louis, whose adoption was recently finalized.

“As sterile as the room seemed, it felt so rich,” Bullock said of the formal completion of her adoption. “I did not circumvent. I wanted to do everything exactly the same way everyone else did. It was nice to have someone say, ‘I think you’re a fit parent.’”

Sandra calls little Louis, who was born in New Orleans, her “little Cajun cookie” who loves to dance and is generally “extraordinary.”

As for motherhood at 46, Sandra says: “No one understands the shift in prior about having a child in your life until you have a child in your life… It naturally shifted the day I met him. Now Louie’s got the stage.”

L.A. Ink star Von D hopped on a plane and headed to Fredericksburg, Texas, near Austin, on Friday, for a weekend getaway with her new beau. (James—who divorced Oscar winning-actress Sandra Bullock earlier this year amid a cheating scandal, recently relocated to Fredericksburg from Southern California in part so that his children could be closer to their ex-stepmother Bullock, who now resides in Texas.)

According to Radar Online, the couple’s enchanted weekend included a visit to the Admiral Nimitz World War II museum. (James is a well-known World War II buff.) Says an eyewitness who spotted the couple during their weekend outing,

“I saw Jesse and Kat holding hands while walking down the main street sidewalk of Fredricksburg, Texas. They came into town early afternoon Sunday on a motorcycle. They were chatting, holding hands and headed towards the Admiral Nimitz Museum.”

The LA Ink star posted a confirmation that she was dating Jesse on her Twitter earlier today. Kat wrote:

“And yes, Jesse and I are dating.”

The tweet was quickly picked up and retweeted by more than a hundred people, but when you check Kat’s main Twitter page the Jesse tweet is curiously missing. Did Kat’s Twitter feed get hacked or is this just a glitch?

It looks like Kat’s tweet might be the real deal, since she responded with a smiley emoticon to one Twitter user’s positive reaction to her Jesse news. However, the original tweet is still absent from her homepage.

Kat initially denied that she was dating Jesse, telling the press that they were “just friends.” Romance rumors started to fly after the two were spotted on a dinner date in Las Vegas. Maybe Kat had a change of heart about keeping the relationship private?

Kat appeared on KROQ’s Kevin and Bean radio show shortly before posting the tweet where she tip-toed around the Jesse question:

“Um… I’ve known Jesse since I was 22 actually. We’ve always been friends you know? And even when all that negative stuff went down and stuff, I stay out of all that drama. Going out, people were always asking what I thought about this and that. And I think it’s none of my business and it’s none of anyone’s business really. I think we’re all human and we’re all capable of making mistakes. I think if I were to be crucified for my drug addiction three years ago now, it would be harder to live with that. I’m sober now, I’ve made mistakes too. People have a hard time letting go of that, you know? For me, I’ve got a lot of respect for Jesse and how he handled it.”

Kat has previously dated Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx. Jesse divorced Oscar-winner Sandra earlier this year, after news broke that he was allegedly cheating on her with multiple tattooed ladies.

Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband was spotted dining with Von D in Las Vegas Saturday night, according to People, which says the duo “got cozy” at the Palms Casino steakhouse, N9NE, before holding hands and heading to a black Mercedes together.
