A mini version of one of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous heart sketches recently made its way to a celebrity’s arm.

Kat Von D, tattoo artist extraordinaire, posted a close-up of the fresh ink on Instagram on Friday, writing, “Just did the RADDEST tattoo . . . a miniature rendition of a daVinci anatomical heart!”

Von D also gave a shout out to the celebrity she drew on — even though said celebrity does not have an active Instagram account.

Wedding bells will be ringing in less than two weeks for the man who once broke Sandra Bullock’s heart.

Celebuzz can confirm that Jesse James is set to tie the knot with his girlfriend of less than one year Alexis DeJoria on Mar. 24.

DeJoria, 35, is a drag racer and daughter of John Paul DeJoria, a billionaire and co-founder of the Paul Mitchell hair empire and founding partner of the House of Blues chain.

James’ last high profile relationship was with tattoo artist and TV personality Kat Von D. The two had an on-and-off romance that included two engagements before splitting for good in September 2011. Von D is now engaged to Joel Zimmerman, otherwise known as DJ Deadmau5.

James made huge headlines in 2010 after it was revealed that he had cheated on Bullock, his wife of nearly five years, with several women.

He later issued a public apology to the Oscar winner, saying “There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. It’s because of my poor judgment that I deserve everything bad that is coming my way.”

Bullock filed for divorce one month later, around the same time it was confirmed that The Blind Side star had adopted a baby boy named Louis, now 3.

James, 43, has three children from two other marriages.

We didn’t really expect Kat Von D to sport a traditional ring after her engagement to Deadmau5 — but there’s a reason she ended up with such an off-beat sparkler.

“She didn’t have a choice,” Deadmau5 told Celebuzz at the Art of Elysium “Heaven” Gala on Jan. 12 in Los Angeles. “That was all me.”

But the 32-year-old — aka Joel Zimmerman — certainly headed to the right place to ensure Von D’s delight: “It’s her favorite company that makes the ring,” he said.

And what a ring it is. “It has skulls in it,” Von D., 30, said.

“Black stuff,” Deadmau5 added.

“We wouldn’t want something boring that everybody else has,” Von D. explained. And same goes for her wedding dress. Though she said it was too early to announce her color of choice, she did make one thing clear: “There’s nothing conventional about me or anything I do.”

The couple got engaged via Twitter on Dec. 15.; Deadmau5 said they’re hoping to tie the knot in 2013.

After getting proposed to by her DJ boyfriend, this former TLC reality star took to her Instagram to show off her unconventional black diamond engagement ring.

“I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” the Canadian hitmaker, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, wrote on Twitter.

After a tweet of exclamation marks, Von D, 30, thanked her fans for their “lovely congratulations.”

“Please excuse me while I go squeeze the hell out of my fiancé!” she added.

Her engagement to her 31-year-old boyfriend comes some five weeks after the couple announced their split, also on Twitter. The pair, who cited that things “happened too fast,” got back together shortly after.

According to Von D’s latest series of tweets, wedding preparations have already begun as she’s asked friend and fashion designer Jeffree Star to be the flower girl at her upcoming nuptials.

“You will be the most amazing, glitter-doused flower girl imaginable,” Von D wrote in a screenshot of their conversation.

Kelly Clarkson isn’t the only celebrity who got engaged this weekend.

Kat Von D is also a bride-to-be, after accepting an online proposal from her Canadian beau DJ Deadmau5.

“I can’t wait for Christmas so…. Katherine Von Drachenberg, will you marry me?” Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman, wrote on Twitter Saturday.

Zimmerman also included a photo of the engagement ring, which had a caption explaining what the final project will look like:

“Changing the diamond to a black diamond FYI . . . .theyll finish the actual ring soon i hope.”

After a tweet of exclamation marks, Von D, 30, thanked her fans for their “lovely congratulations.”

Demi Lovato has gotten inked — again.

On Sunday, The X Factor judge gushed on Twitter about a brand-new tattoo — a group of birds covering her right arm, from her elbow to her wrist.

“Thank you so much @thekatvond for my new ink!! I think it’s beautiful and I love it!!”

Along with a photo of her and celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D, the 20-year-old “Give Your Heart a Break” singer shared a snap of her fresh tattoo.

Lovato is certainly ink-inclined: she now has a total of 10 tattoos, each of which holds significant meaning to the star.

Among them: a black and white feather on her right ribcage with the words “you make me beautiful,” a set of lips tattooed on her body, representing a dear friendship; and a small cross on her right hand that represents her religious faith.

She also has some simple text tattoos, including the word “peace” on her left middle finger, “faith” on her right forearm, “stay strong” written across both wrists, and “Let Go & Let God” across the top of her feet.

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez aren’t the only ones making break up headlines this week.

After only a few months of dating, LA Ink star Kat Von D and DJ Deadmau5 have called it quits. The couple confirmed their split through a series of tweets on Saturday.

“Man.. Can’t say I didn’t give it my best,” Von D, 30, wrote, later adding, “Man, I sure was wrong. But at least he made it a no-brainer to break that off.”

And if that wasn’t enough, the tattoo artist had these words for her fans: “Clarification: Deadmau5 and I are no longer together.”

DJ Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Zimmerman echoed his ex’s words a few hours later on Twitter, writing “it happened too fast, i lost my balance and fell into a familiar dark place that im having difficulty with. she deserves someone stronger.”

The 31-year-old Canadian DJ began dating Von D after meeting each other at a party earlier this fall, Us Weeklyreported at the time.

Von D’s previous relationships have included Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx and Sandra Bullock’s ex-husband Jesse James.

Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx, 53, surprised his girlfriend, Courtney Bingham, 27, on her birthday by filling his tour bus with tons of silver and white balloons and a cake that read “Happy Birthday Baby,” as Celebuzz‘s exclusive photos reveal.

Sixx, who’s been linked to fellow-tattooed celeb Kat Von D in the past, seems to have taken quite a liking to his girlfriend. Despite the almost 30-year age difference, the two have been romantically linked for almost two years and aren’t showing any signs of cooling off.

The key to their relationship success? Possibly the fact that Bingham has been joining Motley Crue on the road during its cross-country tour.

A source tells Celebuzz that Sixx’s “kids love her to death” and that “they are extremely in love.”

Kat Von D is finally putting her romance with serial cheater Jesse James behind her, stepping out with a new man on Wednesday.

And Celebuzz can exclusively reveal the identity of the LA Ink star’s mystery man.

The bearded gent snapped hand-in-hand with the 30-year-old reality star in West Hollywood, Calif. is English rapper Scroobius Pip, 31, whose real name is David Meads.

So who is Pip?

Pip was born, and still lives in, Essex, England, where he has been performing as one-half of electro hip-hop duo dan le sac Vs Scroobius Pip.

Although he’s not well known in the English music mainstream, Pip had some success last year after splitting away from his partner and releasing the album “Distraction Pieces.”

Von D and her rapper beau looked cozy as they shopped on trendy Melrose Ave., but their romance may end up being a vacation fling, as Pip will soon return to his native England.

On June 25, he made it clear he would only be in Los Angeles for a week.

“Dear anyone I REALLY know, imma be in LA for a week visiting lovely peoples. If I’ve forgotten I should be saying hi to you then remind me,” Pip tweeted.

Von D has had a bad run in the love department: she claims her ex-fiance James — who starred on Monster Garage and was married to Sandra Bullock – cheated on her with at least nineteen women.

Before that, Von D dated Motley Crue bassist Nikki Sixx.

Not a day goes by when Jesse James doesn’t regret his infidelity … or so he claims.

The 43-year-old motorcycle mogul became a public enemy when he allegedly cheated on Oscar-winner and then-wife Sandra Bullock. Now, James is speaking out and admitting his wrongs.

“If I could go back and change the way I did things, and not hurt people, and not do things the way I did, of course I would do it that way,” he told omg! from Yahoo. ”I would never consciously bring pain to anyone, especially the people I love. It is something that I have to live with.”

“I think people will probably think since I’m doing well now and since I’m happy that I don’t have any sorrow or regret for what I did, which couldn’t be further from the truth. There’ll never be a day that goes by for the rest of my life that I don’t regret it,” he admitted.

After model Michelle “Bombshell” McGee went public with their affair, things went sour with James and Bullock, 47, and the pair officially split in 2010.

He has since dated Kat Von D but the couple went their separate ways in 2011. After an on-and-off engagement with the tattoo artist, marriage is no longer in the cards for the reality TV star.

“I just don’t have a place for it anymore,” he said. “Everything is so good with the kids, I have so much creative drive with my work and I’m connected with all my tools again on a level that I’ve never been. I don’t want to screw up the balance and the goodness of all that. And I think the thing that doesn’t fit into that equation is having a relationship.”

He added, ”I stood up like a man and admitted my wrongs and what I did and all that did is make every s*** tabloid everywhere across the world come after me even harder. I’m strong. I can take it.”

Kat Von D took to her Facebook to disclose why she called it quits with former fiance Jesse James. She wrote: 

“Today I encountered the 19th girl to add to the list of people Jesse cheated on me with during this last year. I kept going back and forth in my mind as to what the best way would be for me to release and let go of any residual feelings remaining from that toxic relationship.”

The two tatted-up celebs got together following Jesse’s extremely public breakup with Sandra Bullock where it was revealed that he also cheated on her, Michelle “Bombshell” McGee being the most infamous of the alleged mistresses. Kat admitted that she does deserve an “I told you so.”

“I know I deserve a big fat  ‘I told you so,’ from everyone, and wish I didn’t have to say, “You all were more right than you’ll ever know” but you were,” she wrote. “Not to worry, I’ve gladly paid the consequences for every mistake I’ve ever made, but learned so much from each of them.”

She concluded her Facebook post writing, “Time is something you can never get back, and what we do with this very present moment is the most real thing we have. So if that’s the lesson Jesse forced me to face and learn by all of this, than all I can say is Thank You.”

Way before Lady Gaga was a household name, she hit up LA Ink’s Kat Von D for some elaborate lower back art. In the vintage clip, the two ladies chat about Gaga’s songwriting and her parents’ reaction to all those tattoos. When asked by Kat if she was from New York, the “You & I” singer responds:

“Yeah, I was born and raised in Manhattan, and I just moved out here. I’m a singer, but I’m also a songwriter for other artists, so I’ve just been working and doing shows…”

The couple that inks together apparently sticks together! Kat Von D and Jesse James, who called off their engagement just last month, are back on. 

“Sometimes you are only given one chance in life,” Jesse told People. “It was up to me to open my eyes and see it. That girl is my chance. I will never stop fighting and striving to hold on to her. Showing her how special she is, and how much I love her.”

While Kat has plenty of reason to celebrate (she just tweeted a photo embracing Jes), it seems she isn’t too pleased with TLC canceling her show.

The heavily tattooed reality babe also took to Twitter to express her dissatisfaction with the recent news surrounding her reality series LA Ink: “I love how me deciding to not continue doing LA Ink, turns into being “cancelled.” Thanks @TLC. Regardless of everything I remain grateful.”

She went on to tell People that she’s unhappy with how they’re ending her four-year run and feels they are editing the show in a way that is untrue.

“In an effort to capitalize on my recent breakup, the network has decided to focus their energy on re-editing events that didn’t happen while filming,” she says. “I have no regrets and am very proud of the original footage. In my opinion, any attempt to compromise the honesty of that would be an insult to my fans and viewers.”

However, she did express some appreciation to the network for making her a TV persona. 

“As grateful as I am to have been a part of a show like LA Ink,  I’m ready to end this chapter and want to focus on other projects now,” she added.

Hollywood has seen a number of broken engagements recently. Now that Kristin Cavallari, Kat Von D and Crystal Harris are back on the market, what should they do with their rings?

Celebuzz talked to Andrew Streyer, a certified gemologist and Director of Evaluations for Pawngo.com, to evaluate their sparklers. Andrew says it’s actually very common for a former bride-to-be to sell her engagement ring, rather than give it back to the man who popped the question. Hey, he GAVE it to her, ok? 

How much does he value these celebrity diamonds?

Firstly, he says, “A stylish setting, or designer setting, will net you more money, but either way most of the money is in the diamond.”

With that in mind, he says the market value for each of the rings is vastly different — with Kat Von D’s being the most expensive. 

He says the tattooed reality babe could fetch $325,000 for her ring, depending on the clarity and color. 

Meanwhile, he values Kristin’s ring at $70,000 at wholesale or auction and Crystal’s ring at “possibly $45,000.”

If they do decide to sell, they should do it quickly, because Andrew says the price won’t likely be any more due to their celebrity status. “Maybe in the short term, the glamour is still there, but usually not much more,” he says.

Not all stars are getting the fairy tale endings they had hoped for.

LA Ink mogul Kat Von D and The Hills star Kristin Cavallari are the most recent Hollywood celebs to call off their engagements.

Kat  and (now) ex-fiance Jesse James were planning to tie the knot and have a summer wedding, but their long-distance relationship proved to be too much. Von D shoots her reality show in LA, and James’ home is outside of Austin, Texas where he stays with his kids.

“I’m so sad because I really love her,” James tells PEOPLE exclusively. “The distance between us was just too much.”

Von D isn’t the only single lady, Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler ended his engagement to the reality star on Sunday after being together for only ten months.

“She is very upset,” an insider close to Cavallari tells Celebuzz. “Kristin put a lot of effort into this relationship, especially since they lived in different cities. She was always so supportive of his career.”

The two were engaged to be married. In fact, there had been rumors the two had already secretly tied the knot.

Their relationship came after Jesse’s breakup from his Oscar-winning wife, Sandra Bullock. At the time, he had been vilified in the public eye due to a torrid sex scandal, but Kat gushed over her new man when the news of their relationship broke. Even back then, she mused that he was “the one.”

Last month, rumors of their split hit the internet but they denied the reports, saying their summer wedding was still on.
