Mario Lopez and Kate Gosselin both were seen ditching their shirts while getting their jog on this week, and we can’t help but notice both have ridiculously flat stomachs!

While we give props to Kate, 36, for her toned abs, (the woman does have eight kids) we can’t help but recall that she did have a bit of (surgical) assitance to get her stomach to look that way. But still! On the other hand, 37-year-old Mario’s washboard abs has been one of his signature traits since the 1990s. Now that’s talent!

Gosselin took her clan of kids to see Taylor Swift recently, and apparently they got to meet the country superstar.

Gosselin and her kids re-created a classic scene from the 1976 Sylvester Stallone movie Rocky on Tuesday, running up the stairs of the Philadelphia Art Museum while filming their reality series.

Radar Online reports that Jon and Kate Gosselin‘s expansive brood of kids are causing havoc at their school this holiday season—by telling their schoolmates that Santa Claus is a fraudulent myth foisted upon them by their parents.

A family friend reveals that Papa Gosselin has been flooded with outraged phone calls from parents of his kids’ classmates:

“The kids don’t believe in Santa Claus, and they’re telling other kids at school that there is no Santa Claus…He has received many phone calls from parents because the kids actually told others that ‘your parents are lying to you’ causing them to get upset.”

Naturally, their cynicism about the holiday aside, the Gosselin kids are still expecting presents this Yuletide. According to the source,

“They enjoy different things so while one wants a scooter, the other wants a bike. They also want trucks and dolls and games.”

Good luck with that, kids. As for their disillusioned school chums, perhaps they take solace in the immortal words of former New York Sun journalist Frank Church:

The 35-year-old reality TV mom tells People magazine that, contrary to recent reports, her six-year-olds, Collin and Alexis, weren’t expelled:

“The school would never use that word. [Collin and Alexis] were not expelled. [The school] did not feel like they could meet their needs anymore, so it was decided they should leave, for now.”

For the time being, Gosselin notes, Collin and Alexis are being taught by a private tutor who’s employing an “identical curriculum” to the school’s.

So what led to the kids’ sudden turn toward home-schooling? Naturally, the Kate Plus 8 matriarch places the blame squarely on the shoulders of Jon, whom she divorced in December 2009:

“They’ve been the ones to verbalize the most that they miss Daddy. I could see that they’re the ones struggling the most…[Collin] was upset and saying things out of frustration – he’d crumple his papers and throw them on the floor. Alexis was angry in a different way. She didn’t want to sit still. She’d get up and want to run around.”

Gosselin adds that the troubled tots are currently seeing a therapist and are “doing much, much better.”

If the shrink is that good, maybe Kate should send him Jon’s way when he’s done with the kids.

“I’ve worked really hard!” the 35-year-old mom tells People. “Haven’t I earned the right, at this point, to look good?”

Um, sure! Kate, who says she’s now in the best shape of her life, also reveals she’s ready to find love again.

“I’m waiting for Mr. Right,” she says. “It would be nice if somebody noticed me, sure!” Now that she’s flashing a bikini on the cover of a national magazine, that shouldn’t be too hard. Give Kate a call, guys!

As for persistent rumors romantically linking her to her bodyguard, Kate scoffs: “It’s just absurd.”

A Dancing insider tells PopEater that the Kate Plus 8 mom—who gained a reputation as a diva and an ice queen while competing on the show—is the only participant who didn’t score an invite for the Season 10 get-together, thanks to her stand-offish attitude and refusal to stay in touch with her cohorts after the season wrapped in May. The mole reveals,

“Of course she was not invited! We all became close during and after the show except Kate, who hasn’t returned anyone’s calls or emails. You know it’s bad when even creepy bachelor, Jake Pavelka, gets invited but she doesn’t.”

Burn! Then again, Kate is probably too busy cooking up mooseburgers with her new camping partner, Sarah Palin, to care.

Pennsylvania state representative Thomas Murt is questioning the work permits issued to the Gosselin sextuplets for their current reality series Kate Plus 8, and has sent a request to the state attorney general and labor secretary asking them to look into it.

According to Murt, state labor law allows children under 7 to work in movies, but not television. And given that the sextuplets are currently 6 years old, that could spell trouble for the production.

Spokespeople for the attorney general and labor secretary have so far not offered comment on the case.

Gosselin’s nine-year-old twins, Cara and Mady, might have to carry the show for a while…

Sporting a sedge hat atop her noggin, the reality-TV matriarch treated her expansive brood to a sightseeing tour of New York’s Chinatown. Well, okay, maybe not so much a sightseeing tour as a location shoot for Kate Plus 8, but you still have to give Kate credit for getting into the spirit of things.

During her guest-hosting stint on The View on Friday, the reality-TV mega-mom adamantly denied the recent rumors that she’d had breast-enhancement surgery and Botox injections. While Kate did admit—though there’s really no denying it—that “I’ve had a tummy tuck,” she shot down rumors that she’d gone under the knife to have her breasts done, shooting back,

“Why is it so fascinating? I got a good bra!”

As for the scuttlebutt about havingher face injected with age-erasing Botox, Gosselin countered, “Absolutely not.”

Life and Style (via Just Jared) reports that the reality show mommy is reportedly working on a deal to do a reality dating series for ABC. An insider reveals that Kate is desperate for a new man:

Kate’s working on a deal to do a new reality dating series on ABC. Kate would love to have someone in her life. She really misses the companionship. She wishes she had a man around to help her out.

This sounds like a great idea. Kate already had her first marriage ruined, in part, by her reality show, Jon and Kate Plus 8, so it seems only natural that she would want to find a new beau in the romantic world of reality television.

Kate is currently starring in a new reality show, Kate Plus 8, so it isn’t clear how this new reality show would work into her current schedule.

Either way, we all know that the former Dancing with the Stars contestant is ratings gold so we imagine that executives hashing out deals with her will be willing to accommodate her needs.

RadarOnline has obtained text messages from Hailey that they say proves that Jon staged a break-in into his New York apartment. At the time, Jon accused 23-year-old Hailey of breaking into his apartment. However, police investigated the matter and cleared Hailey of any wrongdoing.

While Hailey didn’t steal anything from Jon’s apartment, she does claim that he set her up to take the fall and was planning the break-in so he could avoid eviction from his apartment and gain some publicity.

On December 16, 2009, Jon texted, ‘Leave the key on the counter. Not kidding. I told u if u choose them our friendship is over. Your choice. That’s not manipulation, that’s your choice.’

Jon then texts Hailey she needs to be ‘Out before Christmas. Take the furniture and t.v. That is a gift.’

The TV is the crucial part as Jon later accused Hailey of stealing it in the break-in.

On December 17, Jon texted Hailey, ‘That’s fine, I’m understanding. Do u know why u have to move out, let me explain. If I were to get evicted, they would seize the apartment and all.’

He then writes, ‘I can’t text my plan.’

Sounds shady! And very much like something that Jon would do.

Now Jon could face some serious charges for allegedly filing a fake police report and staging a break-in.

The tart-tongued Kate Plus 8 mom has yet another series, Twist of Kate, preparing to air on TLC, in which she’ll travel the nation performing various jobs. And apparently one of those jobs will entail the mega-breeder collecting garbage.

As Gosselin reveals on her blog,

“I look forward to being dropped into the lives of interesting and unique people and families. I’ll help where I can and learn a lot, too, I am quite sure. (Kate on the back of a trash truck, anyone … amongst other beyond uncomfortable jobs?)”

We imagine that changing the diapers of eight kids has inured Kate to all sorts of messes. Even so, it should be gratifying to witness the reality-TV mom knee-deep in strangers’ refuse. We imagine that the spectacle of it all will be at least as entertaining as Gosselin’s Dancing With the Stars stint.

The Kate Plus 8 mega-breeder returned to Dancing With the Stars for the show’s season finale last night, giving the DWTS crew a reminder of why they were so happy to see her go in the first place. According to a Dancing insider, Gosselin maintained her perfect streak of being a stand-offish but thoroughly troublesome guest who went so far as to complain about the temperature of the dance floor. Yeah, totally:

“We had all just about forgotten what a nightmare Kate was…She is the only celebrity in the entire 10 seasons who has demanded a security guard be with her at all times, and nothing anyone does is good enough. Last night, she actually wanted the temperature of the ballroom changed before she hit the floor. Kate hates to sweat and this was just another opportunity for her to be difficult.”

The show’s hair and makeup staff were so filled with dread at the prospect of dealing with Kate again, the snitch reveals, that they actually flipped a coin to see who would get the dishonor of gussying her up. Which might only be surprising for the fact that she actually requires professional help to acquire that hairstyle of hers.

You’d think that, with all the money she raked in from her Dancing stint, Kate could be a little more gracious. Maybe she should use the cash for some apparently much-needed anger-management classes.
