On Thursday, Kathy Griffin brought Carmen Electra, Johnny Weir and Margaret Cho together on her late night Bravo talk show, Kathy.

At one point, Griffin asked her guests to show how they would walk onto the set of Maury, a daytime talk show known for its dramatic topics.

The 52-year-old host demonstrated what she meant by brushing off her shoulders and repeating, “My swag is clean.”

The three guests joined in on the gag. Cho showed off her best gangster lean, Weir was full of “I told you so” attitude as the “baby daddy” and Electra played the “bad slut.”

Plastic surgery continues to be a tricky topic in Hollywood, with celebs often denying having any work done to enhance their image.

While some stars remain dedicated to aging gracefully, others have learned to love cosmetic enhancements, even opening up about their decisions to go under the knife (or needle) — all for the price of beauty.

Most recently, Kelly Ripa admitted to using Botox in an interview with ELLE.

“Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes,” said the 42-year-old mom of three. (via ABC News)  “So I feel like it makes my makeup artist’s life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now.”

On the other hand, stars like Kathy Griffin undergo more drastic procedures, such as liposuction, the devastating results of which she featured in her 2009 biography, Official Book Club Selection: A Memoir According to Kathy Griffin.

“It is embarrassing,” Griffin says. Still, she maintains, “I want women to know that this is what lipo looks like. Like, are you sure you don’t want to just work out a little more?”

But, despite her liposuction debacle, Griffin has no regrets.

“I work in an industry where if you don’t get a little nip and tuck, a lady of my age is going to end up playing Katie Holmes‘s great-grandmother in the Dawson’s Creek reunion. I’m never going to be Halle Berry, but I want to look as good as I can,” she told People in 2003.

Who was the big screen beauty that spoke ill of acting?

It was Jennifer Lawrence!

In a recent interview with Vanity Fair, the Hollywood newcomer remained modest about her impact as a top actress, explaining that she is no hero, and that acting doesn’t make her one.

“Everybody’s like, ‘How can you remain with a level head?,’ And I’m like, ‘Why would I ever get cocky? I’m not saving anybody’s life.’” she continued. “There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I’m making movies. It’s stupid.’”

But some might disagree with Lawrence’s summation that her acting career is “stupid”.

Though she had already achieved Academy Award nominee status for her role in indie film Winter’s Bone back in 2010, the 22-year-old actress only rose to superstardom very recently. As leading lady Katniss Everdeen in the critically acclaimed film adaptation of the novel, The Hunger Games, she obtained international praise and overnight recognition.

Now, she is among the most buzzed about for this year’s Oscars for her role opposite Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook.

All things considered, the young star still isn’t crazy about all the fame.

“I call my mom sobbing all the time … dealing with the repercussions of having no more anonymity. You lose privacy,” she also told the magazine. “As much as this is a curse, as stupid as it sounds, to make as much money as I am by doing something that I love, it’s hard not to regret it when you’re being chased by 15 strangers.”

Stupid or not, we here at Celebuzz hope she doesn’t quit her day job.

Just three months after leaving ABC’s General Hospital, Steve Burton has reportedly returned to the soap world on CBS’ The Young and the Restless. The unconfirmed casting certainly brings up some questions about the actor’s exit from the ABC series as he was cited as saying that he no longer wanted to work in Los Angeles, then moved his family to Nashville. You can now add singer to the list of Kathy Griffin’s jobs as she world premiered her song “I’ll Say It” on Monday’s On Air with Ryan Seacrest. The song is a dance remix of the theme song from her Bravo talk show, Kathy.

The song features clips from her comedy show including soundbites on Lindsay Lohan and the cast of Jersey Shore.

The star told Seacrest: “My little song started off as a joke written by Adam Schlesinger, a legit songwriter (Fountains of Wayne’s “Stacy’s Mom”). Emilio Estefan said, ‘You should do a remix.’ One thing led to another… my cd drops today. I’m now a member of the music industry because I actually sang the song for my talk show. I’m auto-tuned within an inch of my life.”

What else did the talk show host/comedian have to say about her new foray into music and the remix?

“[Gloria and Emilio Estefan's] 17-year old daughter, Emily, who doesn’t want to be known as an Estefan, because typical kid of a celebrity, she just wants to be her own person which is ridiculous. Her DJ name is Keisha Mai Ash, so that’s her way of saying kiss my ash. She did an even edgier remix. So, Gloria Estefan pulled me aside and lovingly said, ‘God knows I love my husband and his remix is great, but I think Emily’s is even edgier.’ Now that I’m in the music industry, I want the kids to dance with glow sticks.”

Her comedy special, Tired Hooker, is also nominated for an Emmy. Now, she’s after another award this year for her recording career: A Grammy. Having previously been nominated for her comedy albums, this year she plans “to be in the dance category alongside Calvin Harris, Swedish House Mafia, Kathy Griffin, deadmau5 my new crowd.”

Twi-hards aren’t the only ones who are crushed about Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson‘s big cheating scandal.

From Lady Gaga to Kathy Griffin, Hollywood’s biggest stars are getting their two cents in on Stewart, 22, cheating on her beau with Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders, 41.

On Monday, funnyman Will Ferrell took to Conan to air our his grievances over the Breaking Dawn duo’s fallout.

“They’re not going to get back together ever. And what they had was so special, Conan, you don’t even know what they had,” Ferrell, 45, explained while fighting back tears. “They were in love, and she just threw it all away!”

On July 25, Stewart publicly admitted to cheating on her beau and issued an apology to the 26-year-old actor.

This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob,” she said in the statement. “I love him, I love him, I’m so sorry.”

The couple have since moved out of their shared Los Feliz, Calif., home.

Lisa Rinna and Kathy Griffin may be over 40, but that’s not stopping them from flashing as much skin (if not more) as starlets half their age.

The former Melrose Place star, 48, attended Simon G Jewelry’s ‘Summer Soiree’ on Saturday, but it seemed her LBD was showing off more than just her curves as cameras exposed a braless Lisa.

Shock-and-awe comedienne Kathy Griffin stunned everybody — including co-host Gloria Estefan — during a performance at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida, over the weekend, during which the 51-year-old laffer unexpectedly flashed her underwear in front of the crowd.

The effect was immediately seen on the face of Estefan, who gasped, then turned away, as Griffin lifted up her gown to show off her pair of white underpants. Bridget Jones would be so proud.

Always one to go the extra mile for a laugh, Griffin has developed quite the penchant for taking off her clothes in front of people, especially on live television.

On New Year’s Eve, 2011, she stripped down to her bra and underwear while co-hosting CNN’s live coverage with Anderson Cooper. She followed that jaw-dropping moment with another striptease — this time, on The Late Show With David Letterman.

Looks like Kathy Griffin isn’t banned from TODAY after all!

On Monday, USA Today reported that the 50-year-old controversial comedienne said that TODAY anchor Natalie Morales had “banned” her from appearing on the NBC morning program, after the two were involved in an incident during January’s Golden Globes. However, a rep for Natalie insists that just is not the case.

A spokesperson for Natalie told Celebuzz:

“The idea that TODAY show anchors and hosts ban guests from appearing on the show is silly. There was no incident between Natalie and Kathy at the Golden Globes or anywhere else. In fact Natalie is a big fan of Kathy’s.”

Celebuzz chatted with the 51-year-old fiery funny lady about her 2009 Teen Choice Awards date Levi Johnston, 21,and his bad dad reputation following news that he’s impregnated yet another girlfriend (his first child, son Tripp, being with Sarah Palin‘s daughter Bristol Palin).

Needless to say, the My Life on the D-List comic was pretty loose-lipped about her feelings Levi’s recent life choices, saying:

“He should have stayed with me when he had the chance. Apparently now, he just looks at one of the Teen Mom’s and then, they get pregnant.”

She continued:

“I think he just might wanna hook up with Jenelle [Evans] from Teen Mom one, two and seven.”

Kathy was also pretty unfiltered about her not being “the perfect girl for him.” She quipped, “[It's] because I don’t even have one egg left. So, even though Levi is just, you know, coming out guns a blazin’ every time he unzips his pants, nothing’s gonna happen with me.”

While Levi is embarking on fatherhood twice over, Kathy is finishing up 29 appearances on numerous talk shows, before she hits up Bravo with her very own, off-the-cuff TV show Kathy, premiering this Thursday at 10 P.M. EST.

Indeed, the Emmy-winning comedian did exactly that during an appearance on The Late Show With David Letterman Thursday evening, in which she recalled pulling a similar stunt during CNN’s New Year’s Eve special with Anderson Cooper.

First “comedy giant” Jim Carrey, 49, and now Kathy Griffin! Video love letters are all the rage for celebrities over 40 this week. After Ace Ventura pledged his love to Emma Stone, 22, via Internet, D-List star Kathy decided to express her feelings for 17-year-old Justin Bieber. 

Like Jim said in his video for Emma, Kathy also thinks Justin is “all the way beautiful.” The 50-year-old comedian continues, “If I could, I would marry you. Oh, that’s actually not true. It’s messy, Justin. There’s a distribution of assets. We would just go steady.”

Kathy jokes that she’d liked to have kids with the “Baby” singer if she “has one egg left.” Despite her “feelings” for the Biebs, there is one problem. 

“I’m a lot older than you Justin Bieber. I’m 29, 39, 49. Just look me up. I have lines under my ass and gray hair in my beard.”

She rounds out this spoof love message by telling Justin, “Anyway, you are special and I hope you continue to have artistic fulfillment. … This isn’t weird at all. You’re the one who’s crazy. Love, Kathy.” 

Kathy Griffin seems to have found a play thing while on vacation in Palm Beach! The comedian was spotted holding hands with a much younger, hunky man after taking a dip in the ocean.

The reality star has certainly showed off her toned stomach, well, a lot over the past year — and while she looks pretty fabulous, the color choice of dark-green camouflage on her bikini might raise a few fashionista eyebrows.

Get ready Gleeks: Kathy Griffin is coming to Glee!

Kathy – along with Lea Michele, Dianna Agron and the rest of the Glee cast – was spotted filming scenes for her upcoming guest spot on the show. As previously reported, Kathy will play a “Sarah Palin-type” character on the hit Fox show. No word yet on if Kathy will get any musical numbers but it looks like she already has Sarah’s famous suits down!

Kathy Griffin is ready to get her Gleek on.

Despite some reports that Glee was looking to cast the role of a “Sarah Palin” type, according to TVLine, the reality star will star will guest star as “Tammy Jean, a liberal home-schooling Tea Party candidate character,” and she “isn’t really anything like the controversial former Alaskan governor.”

Kathy will play a member of the Regionals judging panel, along with actress Loretta Divine.

Continuing this long week of bikini-clad celebrities, Kathy Griffin and her pal Cher decided to partake in the fun with a beach day in Hawaii.

The 50-year-old Griffin donned a black bikini while Cher, looking fabulous at 64 years of age, opted for a full wetsuit. The two paddleboarded in the Pacific, and Kathy threw up a victory pose as they came back ashore.

Michelle Skowronek: It’s any girl’s dream to stand on the red carpet with a music icon like Cher and the pop diva we all grew up with, Christina Aguilera! Decked in my own red carpet attire (a black mini dress and heels) fully equipped with my Windows Phone, I was ready to snap at any celebrity who walked by at the Burlesque premiere. And I did!

Reporters lined the carpet with their microscopic lens that could magnify every pore on a celebrities face. Screaming fans stretched across Hollywood Blvd. added to the picturesque atmosphere of glitz, glamour and mayhem.

And while everyone was screaming at Christina and Kathy Griffin, I was waiting for my moment of glory, dying to get a photo of one of the A-listers. Sadly, Christina didn’t stop for a picture. But I did get photos with some of the dancers in the movie! 

All the ladies from the film looked hot in feathers, glitter and heels to the max. I even spoke with Brad Goreski from The Rachel Zoe Project about how he would have dressed the Burlesque girls.

More glitter, more feathers, more everything, more hair, more lashes. More! More! More!” he said.

All I knew was that I wanted more of Brad — hence his lovely photo taken with my handy-dandy phone. I’m so lucky the pictures came out great! Now, I can share them with all my friends on Facebook and Twitter. Kudos, Windows, for a fabulous night of star gazing on the red carpet!
