Between the hats, heels and fur, there’s little doubt Suri is indeed the most style-savvy six-year-old on her Hollywood block.

Even her mother Katie, 33, has admitted that her daughter has an eye for style.

“I know I look good when Suri asks if she can have my outfit when she’s older,” the actress told UK Marie Claire this past year.

“My dad is a midwife. When I was a senior in high school, it was ‘take your kid to work day,’ and I actually delivered two babies myself. I was 18 years old. I went in there, my dad kind of told me what to do, I took the baby and my dad kind of swooped in.”

The kicker: The former Dawson’s Creek star, 33, also sported a few gray hairs, which were admittedly hard to miss in between her long brown locks.

Katie otherwise looked relaxed and comfortable in a sweater and jeans, and seemed relaxed and happy as she made her way about town.

The sighting comes just a few days after reports that Katie was expecting her second child with husband Tom. (The couple’s first child, Suri, turned six this month.) The report was quickly shot down by her rep, who told Celebuzz the rumors were absolutely not true.

On April 25, rumors began to swirl that Suri might be getting a sibling. But reps for Katie and Tom Cruise swiftly rejected reports that the former Dawson’s Creek star was expecting their second child.

Katie’s rep told Celebuzz: “She is not pregnant. It’s [a weekly magazine report]. Why would they be a credible source. It’s the same publication she sued last year and won.”

A spokesperson for the 49-year-old Mission Impossible actor added: “Its false – the [magazine] lied as usual.”

Suri has always been quite the fashionista — just ask her dotting dad, Tom Cruise. In December, at the New York premiere of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol, Tom told Celebuzz that Suri is even proving to be quite the fashion critic at home.

“Suri is fashionable, independent and picks out her own outfits. She even tells Katie and I what we should wear,” Tom said. But Suri’s love for fashion doesn’t stop there. “Katie is creative with her and has her sewing,” he revealed.

So could a fashion line eventually be in the works? “Maybe one day,” Tom said with a big grin.

He also predicted that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner as well as Matt Damon and Luciana Barroso would still be together, and he was right. So what is he predicting now as far as splits and long lasting love goes? His predictions may surprise you…

“This is a major improvement in the equation,” Garth told the Times. “It turns out that overall fame doesn’t matter as much as the flavor of the fame. It’s tabloid fame that dooms you.”

The stats guru predicts that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes will split, and highly advises that Jessica Simpson and Britney Spears put off getting married. He estimates TomKat has a 60% chance of lasting five years together, and only 10% of lasting 15 years. 

However, Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z‘s stats are a lot better. Garth thinks they have a 79% chance of staying together for five years and a 55% chance of still being married 15 years from now. 

He’s also optimistic about Kate Middleton and Prince William‘s longevity, saying they have an 89% chance of celebrating a fifth anniversary and a 71% chance of being together in 15 years. 

How does he come up with this stuff? The Times reads: 

“Garth’s new analysis shows that it’s the wife’s fame that really matters. While the husband’s NYT/ENQ ratio is mildly predictive, the effect is so much weaker than the wife’s that it’s not included in the new equation. Nor are some variables from the old equation, like the number of previous marriages and the age gap between husband and wife.”

The Mission Impossible actor looked dashing in a navy blue suit which complimented Katie, who wore a gorgeous navy blue Elie Saab gown. She accessorized with minimal jewelery and her makeup gave her a natural look. 

The Kennedys actress also debuted a new hair ‘do, sporting a high pony and bangs.

Jeanne: A beautiful white shirt worn casually with leggings or with a long black skirt for a black tie affair. Also, any sexy simple black dress, accessorized correctly, can make a fantastic frock scandalous and sensual to get a second date or
 demure and elegant to meet your beau’s parents. 
Nude pumps in suede or leather lengthen the leg with any color dress and add a chic flair to any outfit with jeans.

Jeanne: The idea that things have to be on trend. What works best is whatever looks flattering on the body and what fits your personality. That is what is so great about fashion right now. In the past everything was so homogenized. Its nice that people can wear whatever they want.

Celebuzz: What’s a trend that you hope is here to stay?

Jeanne: I love that size, shape, race, age and variety work in all areas of fashion. With the Internet, fashion has never been more democratic. Although some trends are generally accepted as “the look,” each season great style is eternal and evergreen.

Celebuzz: What are your Oscar red-carpet fashion predictions?

Jeanne: Oscars will be all about color! Everyone will want to stand out in signature shades that work best for them. Emerald green, azure blues, royal purple shades will reign on the red carpet.

Holmes might normally be seen on most days as a working Hollywood mom taking little daughter Suri out and about, however in her latest gig for H. Stern jewelry, the 33-year-old Katie brings a bit of edge back to her game, posing in just a bra in some of the shots for the esteemed high-end gold and diamond vendor. With minimal clothing on in the various beach settings of the shoot, one’s eyes definitely have little else to focus on aside from the bling Katie is rocking.

Recently, Katie was seen out in the public eye — something she has been shying from of late — for her hubby Tom’s big Mission: Impossible — Ghost Protocol premieres in December.

Stylish star Katie recently told the January issue of Elle magazine that she takes clothing advice from fashion icon and designer Victoria Beckham (another celeb who matches her hubby David Beckham).

“We go to the same events, and we’ll call each other to ask, ‘What color are you wearing?’ I’m always interested in what she’s liking for the season.”
