Such was the case for married couple Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, who wore matching blue shirts while having lunch with daughter Faith this week in Los Angeles.

The happy couple looked practically identical in blue shirts and jeans as Nicole held onto Faith in her arms. According to reports, the trio enjoyed a nice family lunch together before heading to their car.

Nicole and Keith were recently in Sydney for the AACTA Awards, otherwise known as Australia’s version of the Oscars. Together they have two children, Sunday Rose, 3, and Faith, 1.

While we rarely see this fam out and about, they did some last minute Christmas shopping in the big apple over the weekend. Not with them was their daughter Faith Margaret who they welcomed via surrogate earlier this year.

Also, we haven’t seen Nicole around much because she has been working on her latest project with Zac Efron. Over the summer, she was seen on set of The Paperboy. According to IMDB, the film should hit theaters in 2012 and is about:

“A reporter returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate.”

Nicole cradled and kissed Faith, who was wearing all pink and white booties, as the family smiled at photographers and made their way to their flight. The actress was dressed in a pair of cream trousers, a beige trench coat and snakeskin boots. Her hubby dressed down in a T-shirt and jeans, but their eldest daughter looked style-savvy as she bundled up (Australian winter) in a patterned dress with a coat worn over the top, along with black stockings and matching shoes.

According to London Daily Mail, the family will be in America to celebrate Sunday’s third birthday on July 7. 

Meanwhile in the actress’ professional life…

The Hollywood Reporter claims that Nicole is in talks to replace Sofia Vergara in Paperboy. TheModern Family actress is reportedly out due to scheduling conflicts.

The Australia actress and her husband, country singer Keith Urban, have welcomed a daughter, via a surrogate mother. The girl, who was born at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville—where Kidman and Urban reside—is named Faith.

Kidman’s rep confirms the birth to Celebuzz in a statement reading,

“Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier.”

The couple also has a daughter, Sunday Rose, who was born in July 2008.

Earlier this week, Urban broke his silence on The Oprah Winfrey Show about his struggles with cocaine and alcohol dependency, and he gave Kidman some credit for his recovery: “[There] was a huge hole in my life that was going to be filled by the right thing eventually or it was always going to be filled by the wrong thing.”

FUN EDUCATIONAL FACT: In the Southern Hemisphere, where Australia is located, it’s currently summer, and giraffes are normally smaller than cats. Clearly, this specimen was imported from elsewhere.

The actress was there to support hubby, singer Keith Urban, but all eyes were on her as she made her way down the red carpet.

Witnesses tell the NY Post,

“She looked freakish. She just had her lips done, and now she looks like Meg Ryan.”

She didn’t even stop to talk to reporters and even ran off the red carpet!

“She just flipped out and took off running. Keith kept saying, ‘Where is she? Where is she?’ “

Kidman’s reps had no comment for the report.

Taylor Swift stepped out of her comfort zone at the CMT Awards on Tuesday night, busting out some previously hidden mad rhyming skills with rapper T-Pain for the ceremony’s opening number, “Thug Story.”

A gritty song about the skills that one needs to survive on the streets—such as, in Taylor’s case, baking cookies—served as an early high point for one of the biggest nights in country music.  But the Fearless songbird’s night was far from over. The 19-year-old went on to pick up Video of the Year and Female Video awards for her clip “Love Story.” (The video’s director, Trey Fanjoy, also won kudos.) But as Nic tells U.K. paper the Daily Mail, she’s having a bit of separation anxiety while traipsing along on the press circuit for her flick.

“I can’t bear to be separate from my baby; I’m totally devoted to her,” she says in a new interview. “Mum says I’m over-bonded with her, but I don’t care.”

Kidman’s mother, Janelle Ann, might want to take into consideration that while Nicole has two adopted children—Isabella, 15, and Connor, 13—from her marriage with Tom Cruise, she suffered miscarriages during that time period, as well.

She was married to Cruise from 1990 to 2001.

Kidman and second husband, country singer Keith Urban, now have four-month old Sunday Rose, who the actress says was conceived while shooting Australia.

“My character can’t have children of her own, and that was me until the last two months of the the film, when a miracle happened,” Nicole explains to the paper. “I never thought in my lifetime that I would get pregnant, but it happened on this movie.”

After the film’s Paris, France, premiere on Monday, Kidman and Urban, 41, slipped away to take Sunday Rose to view a Pablo Picasso exhibit at the Galeries Nationales du Grand Palais.

The Twentieth Century Fox feature film’s production budget is said to be about $130 million.

They could have just bought a couple of Picassos and left it at that.

Kidman, 41, sported a gold and black Dries Van Noten dress for the occasion, and had hubby Keith Urban on her arm. Other notables on hand to watch the Baz Luhrmann-helmed period piece included supermodel Helena Christensen, Gossip Girl actress Blake Lively, Aussie songbird/actress Olivia Newton-John and a very pregnant Naomi Watts.

According to the Press Association, some in the crowd booed Kidman, apparently because she didn’t spend enough time on the red carpet before heading into the theater. Yes, it is possible to be loved too much.

Not that Kidman is likely to mind. The new mom claims that the movie holds personal significance for her and her four-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose. “I call it her film,” Kidman revealed.

Nicole previously claimed that the project’s year-long production was responsible for her conceiving Sunday Rose.

Jackman, meanwhile, thinks the movie will inspire viewers in a different way. “Baz listens to his audience,” the 40-year-old actor suggests. “The world is full of a lot of uncertainty. This movie, I think, offers a lot of hope.”

OK! Magazine reports that the adults in Suri’s life—especially Tom Cruise‘s ex wife, Nicole Kidman—are hoping that she’ll have a baby brother to share her stuffed-animal collection with.

Kidman says that 13-year-old Connor Kidman-Cruise—the son she adopted with Cruise during their marriage—is still hoping for a brother.

Since Nicole just gave birth to a daughter, Sunday Rose—and, at 41, she’s not likely to bear another child—the task falls to Cruise and his current wife, Katie Holmes.

“[Connor] would like one of us to have a boy,” Kidman tells the magazine. “He wants that boy. Katie?”

According to a friend, Cruise and Holmes are more than willing to take up the challenge. “Katie and Tom very much want another baby,” the magazine’s source says. “Absolutely nothing would make Tom happier.”

Better get to it, you two lovebirds. If you want to make a baby, there’s only one way to go about it.

Okay, well, maybe two.

It seems that the lady is hiding a dark secret. Not too long ago, she hooked up with another star while working on project together. Lo and behold, she got preggers—with his child! As the days pass and the child grows, she knows her hubbie will inevitably realize that the kid looks nothing like him.

Ahh. Looks like another seemingly perfect reputation and relationship might crumble in the near weeks.

The 41-year-old  actress say that, while filming her upcoming flick Australia, she and other female members of the production bathed in the Kununurra waterfalls of the Australian outback, resulting in a mini baby-boom.
 
“I never thought that I would get pregnant and give birth to a child but it  happened on this movie,” she recalls. “Seven babies were conceived out of this film and only one was a boy…There is  something up there in the Kununurra water because we all went swimming in the waterfalls, so we can call it the fertility waters now.”

Kidman’s husband, country singer and recovering addict Keith Urban, must be comforted by the fact that his wife attributes her pregnancy not to his virility, but a natural formation.
