The curvaceous Brit was once again spotted flaunting her figure in a two-piece bikini — this time going for a bit of color as she sported a light-blue swimsuit that still left little to the imagination. She has been spotted several times this week in skimpy swimwear while she continues her holiday in the luxurious Italian city.

Not quite sure who Brook is? Well, she’s been in a few movies (Deuce Bigalow, Piranha 3-D) and is a model — but mostly in Britain. Most Americans might know her better for her romantic past, as she’s been involved with action star Jason Statham and Titanic meanie Billy Zane.

The British actress and model who’s made a name for herself in part thanks to her curves only bolstered her reputation by donning a two-piece that was by all means conservative, but still showed off her famous figure. Brook soaked up the rays while on vacation (or “holiday” if you’re British) in Ischia, Italy.

While much of her acting work has been in non-hit movies (Deuce Bigalow, Piranha 3-D), Brook has also made a name for herself by dating a handful of Hollywood hotties. She dated action stud Jason Statham for years last decade, before splitting up and him eventually moving on to another model, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. She also was engaged to Titanic bad boy Billy Zane, but the duo never walked the aisle.

He was aided by a helpful man seemingly dressed to remind everyone that yes, you are in Scotland.

The slightly uppity Cowell has probably never carried his own bag (even as a sullen child) so Mr. Tartan was just in time with the bags and a shady umbrella against the Scottish rain.

The Daily Record reports that Cowell is in Glasgow to oversee auditions for his OTHER show, Britain’s Got Talent.

The press has noted that Cowell, who apparently dyes his hair, has let it go slightly gray lately. He turns 50 this year.

He must be feeling his age. He and American Idol has brought in some fresh blood this year with the addition of new judge Kara DuoGuardi.

Kara, 38, has already made things spicy, most notably by battling with Idol auditioner “Bikini Girl” Katrina Darrell.

DiGuardi better not get too comfy, though.

According to the Record, Britain’s Got Talent recently tried employing the new four judge format that Idol now has. It didn’t work.

New BGT judge Kelly Brook was axed after working just six days by producer Cowell.

He said it was nothing personal. And it looks like Kara is safe for now as the four judge sysem seems to working here in the States.

But this news must have Kara worried. Or has Paula Abdul adding more Vicodin to her tea.

Why not?

The 29-year-old British model’s physical worthiness is clearly evident. But dig a little deeper, and Brook’s personal history offers a thoroughly inspiring message for this holiday, with its promise of renewal.

In August, the former Page 3 Girl broke up with actor Billy Zane. For the second time this year. But the plucky vixen has bounced back nicely, finding love with London Wasps rugby player Danny Cipriani and furthering her acting career since then.

Most importantly, Brook hasn’t let her personal woes interfere with her ability to look really good in a bikini. Or out of one.

Is there any more apropos example to draw from as we count down to 2009 and hope to take advantage of the clean slate that the new year offers?

Model, former Billy Zane girlfriend and Morning Frills alum Kelly Brook made her theatrical debut Tuesday night at London’s Comedy Theater in Fat Pig—which, judging from these photos, is an adaptation of a Henrik Ibsen play.

Reviews of Brook’s performance weren’t terribly kind—

the Daily Mail characterized the stage newbie as “not a great interpreter of a role.” Thankfully, her skin-baring turn required a minimum of translation.

Brook and Zane have split up twice this year, once in April and then, after a brief reconciliation, in August.

A bright girl (as any host of Celebrity Love Island would need to be), Kelly knows that the best thing for a gal to do after a break-up is to throw on a skimpy swimsuit and make her former flame rue the day that he uttered the words, “Listen, we need to talk…”

Poor Billy; he’s obviously going blind.
