Aside from gushing about best friend Beyonce‘s newborn Blue Ivy, Kelly Rowland stopped by reporters to talk about Whitney’s impact on the music industry. Likewise, Julianne Hough, Malin Ackerman, David Guetta and more took time out to chat about their favorite Houston memory and track — proving that even though she’s gone, Whitney Houston is still one of music’s greatest icons.

The five minute preview ends with Kelly congratulating those who tried following along with the workout on a job well done:

Kelly accidentally spilled the beans on the gender of Bey’s baby at the Cosmopolitan Awards in London. When asked about Beyonce’s new child, the former Destiny’s Child member told US Weekly:

“I think her dad [Jay-Z] is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love.”

Um, “her”? It looks like the world will have a mini Sasha Fierce!

Kelly also expressed that Beyonce and Jay-Z will be good parents — accidentally revealing the baby’s sex again.

“I think she’ll be very well behaved,” Rowland says of Beyonce’s unborn baby. “Her parents will make sure of that.”

Beyonce first debuted her baby bump at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards. The singer is expecting her first child this coming February.

Kelly Rowland, who recently released her latest single “Motivation,” was seen soaking up the sun in Miami on Wednesday afternoon. Donned in a teeny purple two-piece, she strolled along the beach with a friend as she showed off her toned figure.

The former Destiny’s Child member (and current X Factor UK judge) has been performing a number of concerts as of late, and even had a special guest join her on stage recently!

On August 26th, The Give Back Hollywood Foundation, (a non-profit organization that connects charities to celebrities) hosted a benefit for the VH1 Save The Music Foundation at the SLS Hotel in Los Angeles that attracted quite the celebrity guest list!  

The star studded event was hosted by Tamar Braxton and Vanessa Simmons with a performance by Luke James. Appearances were also made by Kelly Rowland, Cory Monteith, Christina Milian, Far East Movement, Cali Swag District, Carolina Liar, Andrew W.K., Vanessa Lengies, and Glasses Malone, as well as students from VH1 Save The Music Foundation grant recipient schools.

This non-profit organization is dedicated to restoring instrumental music education programs in America’s public schools, and raising awareness about the importance of music as part of each child’s complete education. Many of the stars recorded PSA’s at a VH1 Save The Music booth to show their support.  It’s all about using the power of fame for the greater good!

All three gorgeous ladies were spotted wearing hot pink shorts earlier this week. Denise paired her pink satin shorts with a black and white striped shirt as she made the press rounds for her new memoir, The Real Girl Next Door, in New York City on Monday. Meanwhile, Rowland was spotted wearing a denim version of the hot pink short trend at the release of her newest album, Here I Am, on Tuesday. Never one to miss out on a fashion trend, Ripa was spotted wearing pink shorts as she walked around New York City with her son Michael.

In true Destiny’s Child form, the women were all dressed alike in black ensembles but all put their own twist on their party outfits. Beyonce wore a one-shoulder jumpsuit that she belted at the waist, while guest of honor Kelly went for a sexier style, stepping out in a skin tight dress. Meanwhile, Michelle showed off her gams in a little black minidress.

Wearing a black mini skirt and yellow crop top, Kelly looked stunning showing off her abs and toned legs.

Earlier this week, Kelly, Take That frontman Gary Barlow and Tulisa Contostavlos were announced as the replacement judges on the British series. Louis Walsh is the only remaining judge. Simon Cowell left the UK series to launch the American version but there have been plenty of shake-ups already.

TMZ reported that singer and judge Cheryl Cole left the show and will be replaced by ex-Pussycat Dolls member Nicole Scherzinger.

She’ll be joining current judges, Simon, Paula Abdul and Antonio “LA” Reid. The group seems to be doing just fine. Simon revealed to UK’s Daily Mail that he’s happy with the cast and glad to be reunited with his former American Idol judge.

“We almost weren’t going to do the show,” Cowell said. “This show would never have been the same without Paula and I can’t believe I am saying this – I have missed her a lot, and I am thrilled she’s on the show.”

But Kelly Rowland is willing to forgive and forget.

Wonderwall caught up with the former Destiny’s Child singer at the Badgley Mischka show at New York’s Fashion Week and quizzed her about how the 808s & Heartbreak rapper can crawl back into the public’s good graces after cheesing off just about everyone.

“Just be a nice person,” Rowland offered. “I think it came from a good place—it was just executed wrong. I love Kanye.”

Sure, it came from a good, magical, unicorn-filled place. That exists only in Kanye West’s mind.

Since Destiny was fulfilled in 2005, Kelly has had two mildly successful solo albums and some film and television appearances.

But still, a girl’s gotta eat and no one wants to be reduced to working matinees on Broadway like her fellow former Beyonce backup, Michelle Williams.

Just two girls getting spending some quality time now that Kelly was back from London, where she performed at the Choice FM 18th Anniversary bash, along with Ciara and diva-done-right Mariah.

They planned on “seein’ some friends” and having a relaxing weekend. No mention of Beyoncé other than that she’s… oh, yeah… she’s in the studio.

They tumbled, teased and giggled. “This is what happens when sisters get together!” Taken together, they spoke volumes while saying nothing.
