Today, Kim Kardashian finalized her divorce from Brooklyn Nets forward Kris Humphries.  Sources told Celebuzz that the judge presiding over the case urged Humphries to settle, almost a year and a half after Kardashian filed, citing irreconcilable diferences.

“Kris knew that there was no fraud, so the judge urged him to settle and move on,” the source told CB.  ”The judge signed the divorce papers and this is done.”

Humprhies rep released a statement to E!, emphasizing their relief that case is over.

“Kris and his family are excited to move forward and are grateful for all of the support they have received in this process,” the statement read.  ”His commitment to the Brooklyn Nets and the team’s incredible fans is his number one priority and he is excited to head into the playoffs tomorrow with this situation behind him.”

Kardashian, who is due this summer, seemed to be in a “good mood” as she was escorted through the privates hallways of the court.

Last night, Kardashian and her family celebrated sister Kourtney’s 34th birthday with a big dinner and Hermes-themed birthday cake.

Kim Kardashian is no longer married to basketballer Kris Humphries, a source confirms to Celebuzz.

A Los Angeles judge has dissolved the couple’s marriage in a court hearing Friday, ruling that Humphries will not receive the $7 million he requested from Kardashian in the case.

Humphries, 28, has also dropped his request for an annulment based on fraud.

“Kris knew that there was no fraud, so the judge urged him to settle and move on. The judge signed the divorce papers and this is done,” the source tells us.

Kardashian, 32, and Humphries first married in an extravagant wedding in Montecito, Calif., on Aug. 20, 2011, but announced their separation after 72 days of marriage with the starlet filing for divorce on Oct. 31, 2011 citing irreconcilable differences.

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best,” she said in a statement at the time.

Kardashian is currently expecting her first child with boyfriend, Kanye West. The E! reality star is due this July.

Kim Kardashian‘s divorce drama may be coming to an end sooner than expected.

A Los Angeles judge ruled Friday that her case with ex Kris Humphries must go to trial as soon as possible, with the next available date on May 6.

Humphries, 28, had been trying to postpone the proceedings until June when the NBA season ends — which also fell around the time the Kourtney & Kim Take Miami star is set to give birth to her first child with rapper Kanye West.

Earlier this month, Kardashian, 32, filed a declarationclaiming that her estranged husband is preventing her from living her life.

Superior Court Judge Stephen Moloney ruled in favor of Kardashian’s request, telling Humphries and his lawyer, Marshall W. Waller, that they have more than enough time to gather their case in the next three months.

In her closing remarks, Kardashian’s lawyer Laura Wasser said she felt that Humphries’ legal team “were on a broad fishing expedition” in an attempt to prove the couple’s 72-day marriage – which was broadcasted as a TV special on E! — was a fraud.

Creager‘s opinion:

You have two young, good-looking, up and coming, successful celebrities.  They spend so much time together on the set.  They have so much in common.  Not only can they relate since they are both stars in a movie together, but they have the “process” of getting famous that is also similar.  Their compatibility then is already at a high point.  It is natural for the pheromones to start to flow.  Lastly, they are actors in a movie where they have to be dramatic and emotional.  Their emotional juices already have to flow just to be in the movie together.  It is not always possible to separate those feelings generated by the characters they are playing to the real life actors.  That may make it easier to “fall” for each other.

Kelly Clarkson & Brandon Blackstock

After announcing their engagement in December, the American Idol winner gushed about her upcoming wedding with her fiance — a music manager and the stepson of country singer Reba McEntire.

“Out of nowhere I just said, ‘Thanks for being an awesome guy.’ I’ve never been loved properly by a man, and I was just like, ‘I thank you so much for that,’” she told People about Blackstock, who proposed with a canary diamond ring.

Creager’s opinion:

Celebs who fall in love with non-famous people definitely tend to have a better chance in long-lasting relationships.  That is not to say celebrity relationships could never last.  However, when one is not a celebrity, it creates a balanced yin/yang in the relationship.  That balance leads to more stability.  People who complement each other (as well as compliment each other), often have a better chance of having a long term cohesive relationship.  There is less chaos, less “Hollywood drama” and at least more a sense of being grounded in family than when both are famous.

Rihanna & Chris Brown

Another week, another RiRi and Brown sighting. This time around, the “Diamonds” singer joined her on-again, off-again beau at his probation hearing in L.A. The day before, Brown was accused of failing to complete his 180 days of court-ordered community service.

Creager’s opinion:

People’s actions speak way louder than words.  Actions such as Rihanna accompanying Chris Brown to his probation hearing, sitting with his mother, etc. point to one thing: She is back with Chris, or at least making her way back.  Here she is, accompanying him to a court trial that has to do with a time that she was violently attacked by him.  It sure seems that she has forgiven him and is opening up to Round 2 of their relationship.

With her first child on the way, Kardashian wants a “new, full life” away from the NBA player, stated in a new declaration in their divorce proceedings. “The same should hold true for [Kris],” according to a legal statement first obtained by TMZ.

Creager’s opinion:

As we look from the outside, we may not know the details of Kris’ motivation.  However, as a marriage therapist, I always am putting out theories of behavior.  All behavior is purposeful and not random, and Kris’ wish to delay the divorce is purposeful as well.  My best theory is that he is being passive-aggressive.  People are passive-aggressive when they don’t deal with their anger maturely and they aren’t directly aggressive because then they would have to “see their sins.”  Passive aggressive behavior can be a way to get anger out towards another person that they feel hurt by without looking like an obvious jerk.  However, passive aggressive behavior can be very hurtful.  Another theory is that Kris may feel embarrassed or in a “one-down” powerless position so this delay of divorce may be his way of getting back some feeling of power and being in the one-up position.

Just like many of their celebrity counterparts (hello, Johnny Depp and Winona Rider), the 90210 star and her fiance celebrated their engagement with permanent ink — matching tattoos of their names, to be exact.

Creager’s opinion:

That falling in love stage is all about the bonding.  During this stage, people emphasize their similarities, all their good qualities and the desire to stay together forever.  Just like there is the ritual of exchanging rings, which is a symbol of the goal of everlasting love, these days, many couples treat tattoos in the same way.   Mutual tattoos have become another ritual that symbolizes the couples quest for everlasting love.  That romantic falling in love stage is all about the bond.  The couple is not thinking about what would happen if they ever broke up.  In the year 2013, it would not be unusual for couples who are in this “honeymoon” stage of a relationship, to parlay their intense hormonal/emotional/physical attraction to each other into a tattoo that expressed their deeply felt commitment to each other.

Kim Kardashian has moving on — she has a bun in the oven — but now she wants a Los Angeles judge to make it official.

Following her public split with estranged husband Kris Humphries, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star has filed a declaration in her divorce case claiming that her ex is preventing her from living her life, especially now that she is expecting her first child with rapper Kanye West.

According to the legal documents, first obtained by TMZ, Kardashian wants a divorce because it “will help create a new, full life for [her].”

The 32-year-old says Humphries, 28, is threatening her health and welfare, as well as ”the health and well-being of [her] unborn child” in the declaration.

Kardashian adds that she wants a divorce so she can move on with her life, and “the same should hold true for [Kris].”

In the document, the E! reality star also notes that her current boyfriend West, 35, is eager to sign a Voluntary Declaration of Paternity when their child is born, but he will not be able to do it if she’s still married to the basketballer.

The rapper is a better partner for Kim Kardashian than her former husband, Brooklyn Nets basketballer Kris Humphries, according to sister Khloe.

“He is so much better than Humphries, like seriously, what a waste of your time,” Khloe tells her sister, now pregnant, in one scene for the upcoming season of E!’s Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, to which Kim responds: “I know, we all make mistakes.”

Two days ago, the Kardashian sisters announced that they would unleash the first ten minutes of the new season of Kourtney and Kim Take Miami if their fans reach one million interactions about the series. They clearly succeeded, because on Thursday E! unveiled the clip.

What else does the preview show?

The clip focuses on the 32-year-old Kim’s 72 day marriage to Humphries, 27.

“I feel like it was a dream… I feel like it never really happened,” Khloe told Kim.

“A really expensive dream that won’t really leave me alone,” Kim responded.

The first episode also features the inevitable storyline: Kim focused on motherhood, after it was revealed in early January that she and West are expecting their first child.

After watching all of Kourtney’s responsibilities as a mother to her and Scott Disick‘s children Mason, 3, and Penelope, 6 months-old, Kim reflects on parenting.

“I’m overwhelmed just looking at all of this. Two babies running around spitting up, screaming. I mean it’s just, it’s a lot,” she admitted. But that doesn’t stop her from filling with joy to play mommy to her new kitty, Mercy, that was a surprise gift from her rapper boyfriend.

Meanwhile, Khloe finds that she’s the only one without a baby, and this season will show the 28-year-old dealing with her fertility issues, as well as revamping the DASH Miami store with her sisters.

Kourtney and Kim Take Miami will have a two-day premiere: Sunday and Monday at 9PM on E!.

Basketball player Kris Humphries has hit back at Kanye West after reportedly signing a two-year contract with the Brooklyn Nets. Making a dig at West, who is currently dating his estranged wife Kim Kardashian, the 27-year-old forward wrote:

“I’m up at Brooklyn! @S_C_ “lucky I didn’t have Jay drop me from the team” lol!”

Humphries, of course, was quoting a lyric from West’s song “Way Too Cold” (formerly titled “Theraflu”), which is reportedly about the rapper’s love for the 31-year-old reality star.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star tweeted a funny photo of herself — riding a roller coaster with her eyes shut tight while gripping her hands to the seat in fear.

The former girlfriend of Kim Kardashian‘s soon-to-be ex-husband Kris Humphries has revealed she is not pregnant, after all.

Proving her own life is harder than keeping up with the Kardashians, 25-year-old Myla Sinanaj declared “BS” on rumors that she was knocked up.

“I’m NOT pregnant,” she wrote on Twitter on Tuesday.

The Kim K look-a-like briefly dated Humphries, 27, after his public split from Kardashian, the 31-year-old reality mogul.

Since, Humphries and Sinanaj have been embroiled in a bitter spat with the NBA star, stemming from his sensational claim that he was being extorted for money in return for her silence about their romance.

“I don’t know who there (sic) ‘sources’ are but since this all happen(ed) I still have NOT ever spoken yet — every day tabloids say I can’t keep my mouth shut. Its’ such BS,” Sinanaj tweeted to the site, allwesteverything.com.

Sinanaj had engaged a high-powered lawyer in an attempt to file a defamation lawsuit against Humphries, in the wake of the extortion claims.

She later dropped the claim, but Sinanaj said this was not because she was trying to win back her famous ex.

“I dropped my lawsuit because after things got out of hand me and Kris realized our friendship was bigger than the BS,” she tweeted.

“I never cared about $.”

Sinanaj also has jumped to the defense of Humphries.

“He’s a GOOD guy and so many people don’t know that because he’s so negatively portrayed but I know who he is and that’s why I trust him and dropped everything with no settlement.

“I’m portrayed as a crazy gold digger booty call and he’s a bad guy.

“But every1 (sic) makes mistakes I think it takes a strong person to forgive something I was put through and someone who obviously really loves him.”

While Sinanaj denied she is trying to get back with her ex, she admitted she was still in love with him.

“When you love someone you don’t want to hurt them,” she said.

“Ppl (sic) will never understand my reasons for still caring for him after everything he did but I love him and that over rides any $ or fame.”

As for getting back together, she added: “He is a dear close friend to me and we will always be friends b4 (sic) anything.”

The pair is also still speaking, Sinanaj revealed.

“I didn’t drop suit to ‘Get him back’ I did it because he apologized n that’s all I care about. I don’t know what future holds.”

While not making it 100 per cent clear, Sinanaj seems to have fallen back in love with Humphries’ also tweeting: “You come to love not by finding the perfect person, but by seeing an imperfect person perfectly.”

Humphries is currently in the middle of a bitter divorce with Kim Kardashian. The two were infamously married for 72 days.

Myla was recently served with a subpoena by Kardashian’s team to testify about her relationship with Humphries after his marriage ended. Humphries, 27, swore under oath on June 25 during his deposition to Kardashian’s legal team that Myla Sinanaj was just a friend who was curious about Kim. Though Kim Kardashian has kept pretty mum about her split from husband Kris Humphries, her sister Khloe Kardashian has been a bit more vocal about her ex brother-in-law’s character. 

While promoting her new season of Khloe & Lamar on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, the reality star was asked to comment about Kris and she revealed her first impression of the NBA star. She recalled: 

“When I met Kris the very first time, I had just landed in New York and it was late at night … and he was in Kourtney and Kim’s suite. … “And I went in there to say, ‘Hi’ because Kim was like, ‘Oh, I wanna introduce you to my friend.’ They’d just started dating. And you know, one of the first things that came out of his mouth — like within the first five minutes — was, ‘So, how much you getting paid to fake your marriage? Like how long are you gonna keep this up for?”

She added: 

“I was like, ‘Dude, I don’t know if you’re trying to make me laugh . . .[He] just rubbed me the wrong way. … So, ever since then, I had a very defensive wall brought up.”

Kim filed for divorce from the New Jersey Nets player just 72 days after her marriage. Meanwhile, Khloe and Lamar are still going strong and have relocated to Dallas for Lamar’s basketball career. Their reality show airs Sunday nights on E!

The season finale of Kim and Kourtney Take New York airs this Sunday (Jan. 29) on E!, and it digs deep into the tough decision Kim Kardashian had to make when she ended her 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries.  “[Kris] is everything I want in someone but for some reason my heart isn’t connecting. You think I feel good that I met this guy from Minnesota? Kim reflects on how awful she feels about her wedding and everything that went into planning the big day.

Kim Kardashian joined Kelly Ripa’s list of fabulous female guest hosts this week on LIVE! with Kelly on Monday morning, and the talk quickly became personal.

Kim opened up about her public divorce from Kris Humphries and what it has really been like following the demise of their brief marriage.

“It’s been a hard couple of months. I moved in with my mom — half the time with my mom and half with Kourtney … I really did some soul searching and it was really … I needed that,” Kim said of what she has been up too since the split.

Kim really stressed how much she wanted this to be her fairytale ending but it just didn’t quite fit for her.

“I think me being such a hopeless romantic, I wanted to believe in something so badly,” she told Kelly. “I fell in love and I thought it could work just like the examples I saw.”

Kim also comments on the backlash she received that she only married Kris for money.

“If you really think about it — if this was a business decision and I really made all that money everyone’s claiming we made and the wedding was fake and just for TV, I’m a smart businesswoman. I would have stayed married longer.”

Kris Jenner has received a lot of questions about her daughter Kim Kardashian‘s recent split from husband Kris Humphries while promoting her new book Kris Jenner … and All Things Kardashian. The momager showed up on Good Morning America Thursday to chat Lara Spencer about how Kim is coping with the divorce news. 

“Kim hasn’t been the Kim I know in a little bit. … I saw here changing a little bit and it concerned me,” Jenner said. “I want Kim back — I want her to be happy. … She seemed worried, not her happy self.”

As for reports that Humphries has asked for the 20.5 carat engagement ring back, Kris doesn’t agree with this, saying: 

“It’s a gift — so keep your gift.”

This is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. I see all of the support and I am so thankful for my fans, friends and family who are helping me through this difficult time.

I am trying not to read all the different media reports but it’s hard not to see all the negative ones. First and foremost, I married for love. I can’t believe I even have to defend this. I would not have spent so much time on something just for a TV show! I share so much of my life on a reality show, that contemplating whether to even film my wedding was a tough decision to make, and maybe it turned out to not be the smartest decision. But it’s who I am! We filmed Kourtney giving birth, Khloe getting married, break ups, make ups, our best moments and our worst moments. These were all real moments. That’s what makes us who we are. We share, we give, we love and we are open!

Everyone that knows me knows that I’m a hopeless romantic! I love with all of my heart and soul. I want a family and babies and a real life so badly that maybe I rushed in to something too soon. I believed in love and the dream of what I wanted so badly. I felt like I was on a fast roller coaster and couldn’t get off when now I know I probably should have. I got caught up with the hoopla and the filming of the TV show that when I probably should have ended my relationship, I didn’t know how to and didn’t want to disappoint a lot of people.

I’m being honest here and I hope you respect my courage because this isn’t easy to go through. But I do know that I have to follow my heart. I never had the intention of hurting anybody and I accept full responsibility for my actions and decisions, and for taking everyone on this journey with me. It just didn’t turn out to be the fairy tale I had so badly hoped for.

There are also reports that I made millions of dollars off of the wedding. These reports are simply not true and it makes me so sad to have to even clarify this. I’m so grateful to everyone who took the time to come to my wedding and I’ll be donating the money for all the gifts to the Dream Foundation.

I’m sorry if I have hurt anyone, but my dad always told me to follow my heart. I believe now that I really am.

It seems the marriage between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries be over.

After spending Halloween weekend apart, TMZ reported that Kim would be filing for divorce on Monday — 72 days after the couple tied the knot this August in an over-the-top lavish wedding. Fans of the Kardashians just got to see the nuptials take place on E!’s four-hour wedding special that aired in early October — pulling in monster ratings for the network. E! News later confirmed the report, and now TMZ has the documents to prove it.

In an official statement to E! News, Kim confirmed the divorce, saying:

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage. I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Meanwhile, Humphries is reeling from Kim’s decision to file for divorce, telling People in a statement:

“I love my wife and am devastated to learn she filed for divorce… I’m committed to this marriage and everything this covenant represents, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”

Ryan Seacrest also says he confirmed the news, saying via Twitter: “Yes @kimkardashian is filing for divorce this morning. I touched base with her, getting a statement in just a few mins.”

Seacrest continued on his radio show:

“I’ve spoken to her briefly, and she is sad and got caught up in all that was going on [in the wedding]. We’re going to have a statement from Kim in just a little while. There were rumors up until the wedding, and after the wedding a lot of rumors about it. It is true.”

TMZ cited that Kim and Kris had major tensions over where they would settle down and live — as Kris reportedly wanted Kim to move to his home state of Minnesota, while she wanted to stay in Los Angeles with her family.

Reports of trouble within Kim’s marriage circulated almost from the get-go, though the couple had been mum about their relationship status over recent weeks. On Oct. 21 for Kim’s birthday, the two were seen looking as loving as ever during Kim’s big birthday dinner party in New York City.
