The pressures of fame can make or break a relationship.

Vanderpump Rules star Kristen Doute says that she’s one of the lucky ones and that her relationship with castmate Tom Sandoval has only improved since being on the hit Bravo series.

“We really have each other’s backs,” she told Celebuzz when she visited our New York City studio. “I thought it would affect us in a negative way, but it’s been the polar opposite.”

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as well for her other castmates Stassi Schroeder and Jax Taylor. Viewers watched their relationship slowly unfold throughout the season and Schroeder now no longer speaks to Doute after the whole debacle.

Things have been tense between the two one-time best friends. Both girls are still reeling from the Las Vegas incident, but despite the drama Doute doesn’t regret setting up Taylor with Schroeder.

“I still think they’re perfect for each other,” she said. But Doute explains that timing is everything when it comes to those two making it work in the long run.

At the end of the day “we’re family,” Doute says of the drama-filled cast.

“This was the best and the worst summer of my life,” she added. “It was intense, my stomach was in knots.”
