The “Born This Way” singer, 26, is set to appear in The Simpsons season finale — airing May 20 — and already her fans are going goo-goo after Gaga teased us with the news that her trademark outfits, in cartoon, will be even crazier than normal!

Gaga joins a long list of celebs, including Simon Cowell, Anne Hathaway and Mel Gibson, who have guest starred on The Simpsons during Bart and Homer’s 23 series.

The singer’s “Born this Way Ball” Asian tour kicked off in late April but has already had plenty of controversy.

Conservative groups in South Korea complained about Gaga’s skimpy costumes, leading authorities to ban minors from attending her recent show.

Then, the Grammy-winner was denied a permit to perform in Indonesia — even though she had sold out the massive, 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium for the June 3 show. The critics have ripped the pop superstar for her for her “Satanic lyrics” that threaten to destroy the children’s sense of morality.

In the episode titled “Lisa Goes GaGa,” the singer rolls into Springfield and befriends Lisa Simpson and helps her get out of her funk.

Gaga joins a long list of celebs who have been guest starred on The Simpsons, including Meg Ryan, Natalie Portman and Larry King.

The “Born This Way” singer has been denied a permit to perform in the country — even though she had sold out the massive, 52,000-seat Gelora Bung Karno stadium for the June 3 show.

The singer, 26, joins a slew of other celebrities including Beyonce Knowles, Russell Brand and Paris Hilton, who’ve all been banned from foreign countries. Click through the gallery to see why the stars were denied access abroad.

The tour stop in Indonesia was set to be the largest stop on her “Born this Way Ball” Asian tour, which includes stops in Bangkok, Manila, Tapei, Hong Kong and South Korea.

It’s Jennifer Lopez!

The 42-year-old stunner, who last year was named the World’s Most Beautiful Woman by PEOPLE magazine, has every reason to top the list, which is a mixture of earnings and fame, according to Forbes.

In addition to starring in high-profile movies and releasing hit singles, the mother-of-two — who is currently dating 25-year-old back-up dancer Casper Smart — is currently one of three judges on America’s top-rated show, American Idol. Not bad for the former Fly Girl from the Bronx.

Of her recent success, Forbes writes:

“[American Idol] gave her a platform to promote her music and turn her image around. It didn’t hurt that she also split from her husband, Marc Anthony. Suddenly a single mother, Lopez lapped up the media attention and scored lucrative endorsement deals with companies like L’Oreal and Gillette. She now has a line of clothing at Kohl’s, a top-selling fragrance and she was able to secure a nice bump—to $20 million–on her Idol salary for a second season. With 6.6 million followers on Twitter and 12 million fans on Facebook, she’s also proved a master of social media.”

In fact, J-Lo is apparently so powerful, she managed to beat out Oprah Winfrey and last year’s No. 1 pick, Lady Gaga, who ranked second and fifth, respectively.

Also on the list: Kim Kardashian, who ranked seventh.

While touring in Japan, Lady Gaga debuted a brand-new “meat” dress as she performed her song “Americano.” Surrounded by fake meat carcasses, the 26-year-old singer’s friend (and photographer) Terry Richardson snapped the pic of her new fashion, which she then shared on Twitter.

Now, this wouldn’t be the first time the “You and I” singer has worn a meat dress. Back at MTV’s Video Music Awards in 2010, the superstar wore a dress made completely of meat, which stirred up plenty of controversy.

Yesterday, US Weekly reported that Gaga’s relationship with the 30-year-old Vampire Diaries hottie had ended, due to her “all-consuming” work habits.

“She will be touring nonstop until next year and has found she can’t have a relationship at the same time. There’s just no room for anything else. Her work is all-consuming,” the source said.

Added the source: “Taylor was all about himself, a typical actor, and didn’t completely get Gaga.”

Rumors of their relationship first sprouted last September. In January, Celebuzz posted exclusive photos of the then-happy couple doing some grocery shopping in Taylor’s home state of Pennsylvania. (See them here.)

The Mother Monster recently kicked off her world tour in Seoul, South Korea and receive record-breaking attendance. In celebration of headlining the second highest attended concert in the country’s history, Gaga, 26, threw out her own “no media” clause and tweeted a snapshot from the Born This Way Ball for all to see.

She wrote:

I could barely sleep last night. It was the 2nd highest attendance of fans in the History of concerts in Korea. Photo: twitter.com/ladygaga/statu…

According to Gaga, the pic was taken in between her performances of “Edge of Glory” and “Marry the Night.” Gaga and her dancers were outfitted with custom Versace pieces for the tour.

Since early 2012, the singer has kept a low profile, only stepping out to workout and train for the 110-date tour. In March, she told Oprah Winfrey that she has put a media blackout upon herself.

“Other than this interview, Oprah, I don’t intend to speak to anyone for a very long time,” she said.

With her Born This Way Ball well on its way, it looks like Lady Gaga is slowly making her way back into the spotlight. The Mother Monster will hit Asia, Australia, and Europe in 2012 before travelling to North America in the following year.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, music video director turned big screen helmer Francis Lawrence will be the one to direct The Hunger Games sequel, Catching Fire. Though nothing is official, their sources say an offer was extended some time on Thursday, April 19. A little less than three weeks ago, it was announced that fan favorite Ross would not be returning to direct the sequel to the blockbuster smash, (which will hit theaters in November 2013), due to scheduling conflicts. Although Moneyball director Bennett Miller was also in the running, it appears as though Francis has been named the victor, so to speak.

While Francis, 42, has directed some box office hits such as Will Smith‘s I Am Legend and Robert Pattinson‘s Water For Elephants, he’s probably best known for his work on the small screen.

Francis has directed music videos for megastars such as Lady Gaga, Britney Spears, Jennifer Lopez and Beyonce (to name a few). In the early 2000s, during the heyday of MTV’s Total Request Live and Making the Video, Francis was (and still is) easily one of the most sought after music video directors. While Ross will be sorely missed by fans of The Hunger Games, we have a feeling Francis will be able to add a certain flair to Catching Fire, which focuses much more on Katniss (Jennifer Lawrence) and Peeta’s (Josh Hutcherson) victory tour and the dreaded Quarter Quell.
