The “S&M” singer, 24, revealed to British publication Company magazine that she has a crush is her 59-year-old costar Liam Neeson. She confessed, 

“I fell in love with [Liam Neeson] when I watched Taken and I was so star-struck, I couldn’t even look at him on set.”

Liam is 35 years Rihanna’s senior, but he still excites the sexy pop star turn actress, who disclosed, 

“I just had to shut down completely. Then he asked me for a picture with him to send to his son and I was like, ‘Send me this picture, I want it too!’”

Rihanna also admitted that she’s not immune to Alexander’s good looks, adding, “Oh my god, [Alexander Skarsgard]’s so hot! I mean, I went from gawking at him for hours every time I watched True Blood DVDs back-to-back on tour, then BOOM! He’s on set.”

Variety reports that Liam Neeson has been tapped to replace Mel Gibson, who was ousted from the movie this week due to cast complaints, in a cameo for the currently filming sequel to the 2008 hit comedy The Hangover.

The 58-year-old Schindler’s List actor was invited to come aboard by Hangover star Bradley Cooper, who co-starred with Neeson in this year’s cinematic TV adaptation The A-Team. Neeson says of the offer, 

“I just got a call to do a one day shoot on Hangover 2 as a tattooist in Thailand, and that’s all I know about it. I just laughed my leg off when I saw The Hangover, I was shooting in Berlin earlier this year and rented it on the hotel TV.”

Neeson flew out to the set of the film from his New York home on Thursday. The Irish-born actor will also be starring in the big-screen board game adaptation Battleship, along with “Rude Boy” singer Rihanna.

The first clip from the upcoming movie adaptation of The A-Team has been unleashed on the Internet, and it’s pretty safe to say that it has everything: Rampage Jackson as B.A. Baracus. An exploding plane. And Bradley Cooper going nuts on enemy aircraft with a machine gun as he rides a tank that’s falling from the sky. 

Really, can you ask for much more? We didn’t think so.

The new A-Team is a slicker update on the beloved ’80s TV series but it doesn’t lose any of the show’s humor. That said, if there is one show that could benefit from a big budget Hollywood remake (with fancy explosions and planes and stuff) it is the original A-Team.

The movie stars Bradley Cooper, Liam Neeson, Patrick Wilson, Sharlto Copley, Jessica Biel and UFC fighter Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson.

The film comes out in June of this year and, by the looks of the trailer, it is going to be a must-see summer blockbuster.

Cooper is in talks to play Lt. Templeton “Faceman” Peck, while Neeson would portray Col. John “Hannibal” Smith. In the original series—about a quartet of renegade Vietnam war vets who do good while evading the military—Peck was portrayed by Dirk Benedict, while George Peppard played Smith.

Still no word on who would play Sgt. Bosco “B.A.” Baracus and Capt. H.M. “Howling Mad” Murdock—originally portrayed by Mr. T and Dwight Schultz—but rapper Common and Woody Harrelson have been rumored to be up for the parts.

The movie—which will be directed by Joe Carnahan (Smokin’ Aces) will begin production in late August for a June 2010 release.

Neeson had been filming Chloe, an Atom Egoyan-directed thriller starring Julianne Moore, in Toronto when he first heard that Richardson had been involved in a skiing accident at a resort near Montreal.

The 45-year-old actor rushed to his wife’s side and kept vigil until she succumbed to blunt impact to the head two days later.

Richardson was laid to rest in Millbrook, New York, on March 22. Neeson returned to the Toronto set of the film late last week. He shot his final scene on Friday, his rep confirms, and the movie wrapped on Saturday.

The film is expected to be released sometime this year.

Page Six reports that the actor was spotted at Toronto’s Hazelton Hotel, sitting alone at the hotel bar One. A staffer confirms to Celebuzz that the actor has been by several times.

“It was so sad,” Page Six cited a source, “He looked like he was in an Edward Hopper print.”

Neeson’s rep confirmed he’s back and completing the project, also starring Mamma Mia‘s Amanda Seyfried.

“With good friends by their side, they will get through the tough days ahead,” a family friend recently said of Neeson and his two boys, Michael and Daniel.

Natasha, 47, died from a head injury incurred during a skiiing accident on March 16.

Joely, 44, her Oscar-winning mother Vanessa Redgrave, and Natasha’s husband Liam Neeson and their sons were all forced to bid goodbye to the Tony award-winning actress during services held in upstate New York last week.

People reports that Richardson has returned to work filming her role in The Day of the Triffids, a mini-series adaption of the classic sci-fi novel, with Dougray Scott in London.

She was given a special leave from the set when the news of Natasha’s accident was given to her.

Richardson’s mother Vanessa also has a role in the production, but filmed it before her daughter’s sudden death.

Joely also has a role in FX’s series Nip/Tuck, in which she plays Julia MacNamara.

Two two starred in 1994′s Nell, along with Richardson’s husband Liam Neeson, where Foster says she grew to know and love the luminous actress.

“Every weekend Natasha cooked delicious dinners where we all talked and played board games. They were memorable evenings filled with her deep hearty laugh and tons of stories…she wanted to create a sense of family wherever she went,” Foster writes.

Jodie also indicates that the movie set was the site of “the first blushes of Liam and Natasha’s relationship.”

The pair planned their wedding details in their off time.

“Whenever they were together, it was electric—two seemingly opposite characters who connected in such a rare and fierce way.”

Neeson has been holding it together, soon heading back to work on his film Chloe.

“I am so sad that she is gone,” Foster says of Natasha, “It just seems so unbelievable that this beautiful, talented, loving person should have been whisked away without warning.”

News of her fall at a Canadian ski resort, followed by 48 hours of harrowing medical transfers and condition updates, grabbed headlines worldwide leading up to the announcement of Richardson’s death—just one week ago today.

We’ve seen images of her famous grieving family, led by the iconic Vanessa Redgrave and her strong white suit. Today attention turns to Richardson’s husband as he readies himself and their two boys for life without their mother.

“Liam is doing okay,” family friend Blaine Trump tells People magazine.

“It takes a while to absorb this. But he says the family needs to move forward. They will take it one step at a time.”

That first step for Neeson is returning to work. He’ll head back to Montreal, just over 80 miles from the site of Richardson’s accident, to finish work on Chloe.

The thriller costars Julianne Moore and Big Love‘s Amanda Seyfried, and centers around a suspicious doctor’s wife who hires a call girl to seduce her husband.

Michael, 13, and Daniel, 12, are expected to return to school.

“With good friends by their side, they will get through the tough days ahead.”

Famous friends attended services for the actress, which included a wake the Irish American Society of New York, a dimming of Broadway lights and her formal burial in upstate New York.

Sarah Jessica Parker, Matthew Broderick, Laura Linney, Uma Thurman, Holly Hunter, Ethan Hawke and Meryl Streep paid their respects at the various gatherings.

While fashion would seem an unlikely concern for Redgrave at present, such a bold contrast to the rest of Richardson’s black-clad family is no coincidence.

What could the motives be for such an unusual look at such a bleak time?

“This is clearly a statement on her daughter’s life, not her daughter’s death,” says expert Dr. David Kessler, coauthor of On Grief and Grieving, with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross.

“She may have wanted everyone to remember the brightness of Natasha.”

Redgrave buried her daughter, 45, less than a week after a skiing accident in Canada resulted in fatal trauma to Richardson’s brain. Since Sunday’s service Kessler’s website has been inundated with questions about Redgrave’s suit.

“It’s more questioning than criticism. People have been saying, ‘Is this OK? We haven’t seen this,’” Kessler tells Celebuzz.

Moreso, is it acceptable?

“People forget that our grief is unique, like a fingerprint,” he says. “Celebrating life versus mourning the death? That could be her style.”

And regardless of public opinion, Redgrave as an icon could influence funeral garb moving forward.

“Public figures have always influenced how we grieve. When Jackie Kennedy had her stiff upper lip…at JFK‘s funeral, the world said, ‘That’s how we grieve. We hold it in,” Kessler says.

“Years later, there was a shot of Nancy Regan touching [President Ronald Regan's] casket and crying. After that, we saw people doing it because they felt permission.”

Just today, it was revealed that Redgrave has postponed a scheduled NYC performance of Joan Didion‘s play The Year of Magical Thinking, about a woman who loses her husband and daughter.

“We grieve in character, and that applies even more to an actress,” says Kessler.

At St. Peter’s Church, Richardson’s husband Liam Neeson and seven other men carried the actress to her final resting place.

Richardson’s mother Vanessa Redgrave, dressed all in white, was joined by Natasha’s sister Joley Richardson. Other celebs that journeyed nearly two hours outside of Manhattan were Meryl Streep and sculptor husband Don Gummer, Uma Thurman and boyfriend Arpad Busson as well as Ralph Fiennes.

Saving Grace star Holly Hunter couldn’t fight back tears, nor could Neeson himself, spotted tearing up while walking with Redgrave.

In addition to Neeson, 45-year-old Richardson is survived by two sons.

In tribute to her passing, caused by blunt head trauma during a skiing accident in Canada, all theatre marquees lining New York City’s famed theater district dimmed their lights.

Husband Liam Neeson attended, as well as Richardson’s mother, legendary actress Vanessa Redgrave, and sister Nip/Tuck actress Joley Richardson.

Theater mainstays like Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick gave emotional greetings to Neeson, as well as Brothers & Sisters actor Ron Rifkin.

Parker in particular seemed swept up in grief, embracing Liam and sharing a few works (view a video of the exchange here, from People magazine).

Afterwards Neeson headed into the NYC streets with a male pal, mentioned he planned to stop at a nearby pub.

“Liam Neeson, his sons, and the entire family are shocked and devastated by the tragic death of their beloved Natasha,” a rep said on behalf of actor Nesson, Richardson’s husband.

“They are profoundly grateful for the support, love and prayers of everyone, and ask for privacy during this very difficult time.”

In the past two days, a whirlwind of speculation surrounded the tragic circumstances of a skiing accident endured by 45-year-old Richardson. 

At a resort near Montreal, where her husband Neeson was filming an upcoming movie, Richardson fell during on a beginners slope during a lesson, suffering head trauma.

The actress walked from the scene, but hours later complained of headaches and was admitted to a nearby hospital, later transferred to a larger medical center in Montreal.

The actress and mother suffered a head injury on Monday that has left the star brain dead. This wouldn’t be the first major accident for the family.

In 2000, the Taken star suffered a near-fatal motorcycle accident that shattered his pelvis.

“It was a terrible time,” Richardson said of the accident, which saw her nursing Neeson back to health.

The actor struck a deer while riding near one of the couple’s homes in upstate New York. He was discovered by a passing motorist, lying on the side of the road.

“You have one life to live and you have to look after yourself,” Neeson said in 2004 to People magazine.

Richardson’s mother Vanessa Redgrave arrived to New York’s Lenox Hill Hospital last night to join Neeson. After two Canadian hospitals and an American transfer, Neeson and Redgrave are now said to be contemplating removing Natasha from life support.

Richardson is currently at a New York City hospital and surrounded by friends and family, including husband Liam Neeson.

“There is no chance,” a family friend reported to People. “It is a fact that her heart is beating but she is brain dead.”

After falling while skiing on a beginner’s slope at a resort in Canada, Richardson complained of a headache and was taken to a hospital in Montreal where it was revealed that she had suffered from a head injury.

The source explains her condition as “leakage of blood between the brain and skull” and tragically notes that “it’s not official yet, but they basically will detach her.”

A private jet brought Neeson and Richardson to New York City last night.

Representatives for the family have declined comment.

According to a release put out by the Quebec resort of Mont Tremblant, Richardson was “laughing and joking” after the fall, which apparently caused the incident.

“Ms. Richardson fell during a ski lesson, but she didn’t show any signs of an injury,” the statement reads. Richardson was not wearing a helmet, which is not mandatory by Quebec law.

After being looked at by ski patrol, she was told to seek medical help. But the statement says that Richardson refused, asking only to be taken to her room. “The (ski) instructor and two members of the patrol accompanied her to her hotel room.”

“She refused to see anyone and signed a paper saying she didn’t want to see a doctor.”

“After an hour or so she said she had a headache, then they called 911.”

According to IrishCentral.com, Richardson was being flown to a New York hospital, her husband Liam Neeson at her side. Sources told the website it was a “traumatic head injury.”

Richardson, the wife of actor Liam Neeson, was in the accident at the Mont Tremblant winter resort, and initially rushed to Centre Hospitalier Laurentien nearby.

She was transferred to Hôpital du Sacré-Coeur de Montréal yesterday afternoon at 5 pm. according to People.

Neeson, 56, is currently working on the film Chloe in Toronto and rushed to be by his wife’s side.

“Liam Neeson left the Toronto set immediately to fly to Montreal upon news of his wife’s accident,” a rep for the film said in a statement to Canadian TV. “We do not have any details at this time but we hope for the best and our thoughts and prayers are with Natasha and Liam and their family.”

Natasha (daughter of veteran actress Vanessa Redgrave) and Liam have been married since 1994, and have two sons – ages 13 and 12.
