amfAR held its annual Cinema Against AIDS Gala on Thursday, and boy did Hollywood deliver.

Stars like Jessica Chastain, Stacy Keibler and Goldie Hawn brought a pop of color with their respective red, purple and yellow ensembles. White was also a popular red carpet choice for stars like Janet Jackson, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Adrien Brody.

The gala, now in its 20th year, was held at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, just east of the Cannes Film Festival site. 

Models, including Karlie Kloss, Alessandra Ambrosio and Huntington-Whiteley walked the runway during the event, while the legendary Dame Shirley Bassey performed on stage.

The talk of the town this week was the annual Met Gala, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. At this hallowed eve, every other famous person gathered in their craziest get-ups to celebrate all thinks punk (this year’s theme). With this event came lots of celebrity Tweets and Instagram snaps, which gave us an even more personal behind-the-scenes look at the festivities.

Just a few days before flying to New York for the Gala, Nicole Richie posted a picture of herself in front of the famous Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood. The socialite was joined by her equally beautiful friends, Liberty Ross and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley. All three of the ladies looked infinitely chic, which foreshadowed Richie and Huntington-Whiteley’s daring looks at the gala, days later.

Fast forward to the day of the Met Gala itself: one of its veterans, Kate Bosworth gave us a closeup of her pink, embellished Balmain dress, via Twitter. Uma Thurman also opted for a candid picture of herself in her stunning Zac Posen gown — in the museum bathroom. Candid, indeed!

Kendall Schmidt of Nickelodeon’s Big Time Rush also spent some time in the Big Apple this week. The singer headed to New York to do press for the upcoming summer tour and album release from the boy band. He paired his excursion with a picture of himself en route.

Not even a blizzard named Nemo could stop the celebrities from leaving their homes.

Like a true fashionista, Heidi Klum braved the elements for New York Fashion Week.

On Friday morning, the 39-year-old beauty joined her Project Runway family, including Zac Posen, Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, as the show’s finalists presented their creations for Fall 2013.

“After so many seasons of @ProjectRunway I still get excited 2 see the designers’ collections @ #NYFW! #DayInTheLife,” Klum wrote on Twitter.

On the west coast, Julianne Hough waved to photographers as she made her way inside Los Angeles International Airport. The 24-year-old Safe Haven star is spending the weekend in Nashville for her sister’s baby shower.

Meanwhile, the Timberlakes — Justin Timberlake and wife Jessica Biel – were spotted in City of Angels on Thursday night — all in the name of the art.

Timberlake took his ladylove to see Darren LeGallo’s latest art exhibition, which aptly hosted by his Trouble With the Curve co-star — and LeGallo’s fiancee – Amy Adams.

In other sightings, Britney Spears went for a quick coffee run with her assistant in Sherman Oaks, Calif., while Emma Roberts picked up a couple pies in Beverly Hills.

Liberty Ross posed completely bare for the pages UK’s LOVE magazine in its Spring/Summer 2013 edition dubbed their “Clean Issue.”

The British-born model showed her future ex-husband, Rupert Sanders, just what he’s missing after she filed for divorce from the Snow White and the Huntsman director last week.

Sanders and Ross have spent the past few months attempting to mend their marriage after the scandal of the summer – when he was caught cheating with Twilight actress Kristen Stewart in a Los Angeles park.

Stewart issued an emotional public apology to her longtime boyfriend Robert Pattinson.

She said: “This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect most, Rob. I love him, I love him. I’m so sorry.”

Sanders too released a statement copping to the affair by saying: “I am utterly distraught at the pain I have caused my family… my beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world.

I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

It’s been six months since Twilight star Kristen Stewart was photographed in a lip-lock with her married Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders.

And although everyone involved has said their apologies, the woman caught in the middle, Sanders’ wife Liberty Ross, has decided to move on from the scandal without her husband by filing for divorce in Los Angeles today, TMZ is reporting.

According to the website, the model, 34, is asking for joint custody of their five and seven year old children, Tennyson and Skyla, as well as spousal support.

Sanders, 41, also filed his response to her petition, requesting joint custody and no spousal support.

Ross, who had been mum for months, shared a revealing interview last October in designer Alexander Wang’s “Confessionals” video series for his Spring 2013 line where she opened up to Style.com about growing up in Los Angeles and the importance of family.

“I’m very happy with my life. I have good people. I have two amazing children,” Ross said, but did not mention her husband.

Regarding the drama she’s faced in the latest few months, Ross explained, “I believe we’re all on journeys, and we’re all given lessons at certain times in our life. Sometimes, when things seem really bad, you have to be able to see the good and learn from it and move forward as graciously as possible.”

Ross acknowledged that 2012 was a roller-coaster year, but added that the turmoil gave her great strength to look to the future.

“I don’t like being trapped or feeling that I’m not able to move forward,” she said. “This year is kind of the end of some things and the beginnings of something else. Change is really important in life but I’m still the same girl when I go home.”

Giving fans a glimmer of hope the couple could work things out, Ross and Sanders were spotted hugging after a counseling session in Beverly Hills just three months ago, although neither were seen wearing their wedding rings.

In happier news, in the wake of the photo bombshell that hit the news last summer, Stewart and her longtime love and co-star Robert Pattinson seem to have patched things up after being spotted over the holidays in London, but the beloved twosome have remained coy about their relationship status.

But what of Sanders and his wife, model Liberty Ross? Ross has remained mum about her husband’s affair and the summer’s series of unfortunate events — until now.

There’s at least one person who’s walking away from the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal with a man: Rupert Sanders‘ wife, Liberty Ross.

The model-turned-actress was spotted — sans wedding ring — with former beau Christopher Taylor, the director of art gallery Museum 52, in London on Monday. Life & Style was the first to identify Ross’ new man, and a source tells the magazine that the estranged wife of the Snow White and the Huntsman director arrived and left the Serpentine Gallery “arm in arm” with Taylor.

In fact, the two Brits has a long history together.

Ross and Taylor first became public in 2001 when the two were spotted canoodling at a Juicy Couture Launch Party on Nov. 16.

Since then, Ross married Sanders and welcomed two children: Skyla and Tennyson.

In July, Ross was stunned when photos of her husband and actress Kristen Stewart passionately kissing hit the web, prompting Sanders to release issue a public apology.

“I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” he said in the statement. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”

Liberty Ross made some noise too — on the runway at New York Fashion Week.

On Saturday, the 33-year-old actress, model and wife of director Rupert Sanders strutted her stuff for Alexander Wang’s Spring 2013 collection.

And she did not disappoint.

Ross showed off her gorgeous gams in a white cutout skirt and jacket, complete with a hairstyle that parted right down the middle — like the rest of Wang’s models for his futuristic theme.

Last Thursday, Stewart, 22, attended the premiere of her new film On The Road at the Toronto International Film Festival. The red carpet affair was her first public appearance since news broke of her cheating scandal with Sanders, her Snow White and the Huntsman director, this past summer.

Just two weeks before news broke of Kristen Stewart‘s affair with Snow White and the Huntsman helmer Rupert Sanders, the director’s wife, Liberty Ross, opened up about a recent rough patch in her 10-year marriage — and how their relationship became “so amazing” after it.

The couple hit a hurdle when they relocated from London to Los Angeles as Sanders launched his Hollywood career, Ross admitted in an interview with YOU Magazine (excerpted by the Daily Mail).

“I romanticized domesticity for a while, and loved having a shopping list of groceries stuck to the fridge for the first time,” Ross said. “But moving here and starting a life all over again was a lot harder than I had anticipated. I just didn’t think it would be as isolating and daunting as it turned out to be.”

And her despair took much time to overcome…

“I can honestly say that it took me five years to feel happy here,” she confessed.

With Sanders, 41, grinding away on his hectic Hollywood schedule, Ross, 33, often felt like she was parenting solo. “I would never say out loud that I am raising my children alone,” the actress/former model said, “but a lot of the time it has felt like that. I went from the glamor of working with Karl Lagerfeld and John Galliano to living on an isolated hilltop, with my husband gone most of the time.”

But Ross felt her relationship had rebounded. “That’s why everything feels so amazing now,” she said. “We rode through the really hard times, and we stuck it out.”

Fast-forward two weeks — and Ross’ marriage is rocked by the revelation that Sanders cheated on her with the 22-year-old Twilight star, who plays Ross’ daughter in Snow White.

After Us Weekly printed incriminating snaps of the pair cozying up in a car, Sanders admitted fault in a statement: “I am utterly distraught about the pain I have caused my family,” the English director said. “My beautiful wife and heavenly children are all I have in this world. I love them with all my heart. I am praying that we can get through this together.”
