Call her the artist formerly known as Lily Allen.

The UK singer is currently working on her third album, which will be released under the name Lily Rose Cooper. The announcement comes one year after the 27-year-old Brit married Sam Cooper in a Gloucestershire, England ceremony.

The singer is following in the footsteps of Miley Cyrus, Natalie Portman, Drake and Snoop Dogg — all of whom have changed their stage names.

Meanwhile, the Lily’s follow-up to 2009′s It’s Not Me, It’s You is officially in motion.

In June, the singer posted on Twitter, “”You will be pleased to know that I am currently in the fucking studio with @GregKurstin,” a producer who was integral to her It’s Not Me, It’s You work.

“It’s great to work at my own pace, with no commitments other than to make music,” said Cooper. “I’m excited to be heading back into the studio,” she said in a statement (via Rolling Stone.)

Although Cooper stepped away from her music career for a while, Cooper has managed to stay busy. In that time, she started her own record label, In the Name Of, launched a clothing business, Lucy in Disguise, and gave birth to her first child, Ethel Mary, with husband Sam Cooper.

Lily Allen is expecting baby number two.

According to UK’s Huffington Post, the “Alfie” songstress is pregnant with her second child after welcoming daughter Ethel Mary with husband Sam Cooper in November.

“It was a surprise but Lily and Sam are thrilled. The pair of them have loved every minute of ­parenthood so far and wanted to expand their brood quickly. So it’s great timing,” a source close to the couple told the Sunday Mirror.

Though she’s been busy with diaper duties, Allen, 27, also recently made another huge announcement on her Twitter.

“You will be pleased to know that i am currently in the f–king studio with@GregKurstin,” she tweeted last month.

Kurstin worked with Allen on her debut album Alright, Still and 2009′s follow-up It’s Not Me, It’s You. The news comes after Allen was reportedly spotted writing new material at the RAK Studios in St John’s Wood, London earlier this year.

“No big deal really,” she added in a following tweet. “im just throwing s–t at the wall and seeing if anything sticks.”

Lily Allen has two things to be celebrating on her honeymoon – not only did she get married on Saturday but a rep for the singer has exclusively confirmed to Celebuzz that she is pregnant!

Lily and her new husband Sam Cooper reportedly revealed that Lily is pregnant to their families and friends during their wedding reception on Saturday but the news wasn’t official until Lily’s rep confirmed the news to Celebuzz. Lily and Sam had a traditional English country wedding in Cranham, Gloucestershire in England on Saturday afternoon. Lily wore a custom-designed Chanel gown that masked her pregnant belly. After their traditional wedding ceremony, Lily and Sam celebrated with 300 guests in an outdoor reception at Lily’s country home in Stroud. It is there that Lily’s husband Sam reportedly revealed to their friends that the singer is with child. The “Smile” singer is four months along.

The singer and her now-husband had previously announced that they were pregnant back in 2010 but they lost the child due to early complications. The miscarriage left Lily very sick for several weeks; however, Lily told the press that she was still determined to try to have a child again in 2011.

Lily and Sam have been dating since 2009 but the two had been close friends for years.

Here comes the bride…

British singer Lily Allen made a beautiful blushing bride when she was spotted arriving at her wedding to decorator Sam Cooper. The couple were married on Saturday at the picturesque St. James the Great church in Cranham, Gloucestershire.

The 26-year-old Lily wore a custom-designed lace Chanel wedding dress with a 1920s-inspired veil. The singer waved to fans and photographers as she made her way into the church for what is being called a traditional English country wedding. Much like the Royal Wedding, Lily is making use of the church’s local village choir for the ceremony.

After the wedding ceremony, Lily and Sam will throw an outdoor reception for 300 in Lily’s country estate in Stroud.

The always-cheeky Lily still found some time joke around before her glamorous big day. “Oh great, I have a massive spot on my nose,” Lily tweeted the day before her wedding. “I lanced it with a safety pin FYI. Was gross.”

Lily has been dating Sam since 2009 but the two have been friends for years.

According to this redneck invite, Brit pop star Lily Allen is planning for a summer wedding.

The invite showed up on The Sun‘s website, showing Lily, 25, and fiancé Sam Cooper photoshopped onto a tracker riding through the fields. If this invite is accurate, the two are planning to wed on June 11th in Gloucestershire.

An outspoken Lily wasn’t too thrilled with the invite being leaked to the press, tweeting: 

“Oh and whoever leaked my wedding invite to the press, you’re a [expletive] and your [sic] not invited anymore, have some respect and stay at home.”

Lily’s wedding date is just a few months after another big British wedding, Prince William and Kate Middleton are to say their “I dos” on April 29th. 

There’s already been an avalanche of celebrity engagements this week, and now Lily Allen‘s name is being thrown into the mix.

Though the report is still unconfirmed by Allen or her boyfriend Sam Cooper, Britain’s Daily Mail is reporting that the “LDN” singer is planning a trip down the aisle following Cooper’s Christmas day proposal. The question was popped while at a luxe Indonesian island resort, where the couple was spending the holiday following a tragic few weeks.

In November, Allen announced that she had miscarried the couple’s baby. It’s that terrible experience that may have led to the two planning to become man and wife, according to a Mail source. The insider claims:

It has been a terrible time for Lily and Sam, but they are totally in love with one another … It all came out of the blue – but Lily was overwhelmed and they are both overjoyed. They can look to the future now.

As the world awaits for a comment from Allen to see if the report is true, let’s “Smile” along with Lily for now.

British songstress Lily Allen was rushed to the hospital this weekend and was treated for septicaemia — a blood poisoning condition that can be fatal.

Britain’s Daily Mail reports he hospitalization comes just days after Allen announced that she had suffered her second miscarriage. Allen was initially released from the hospital, but was rushed back for further treatment after being released. According to a rep for the singer:

“Lily Allen is back in hospital, where she is being treated for septicaemia … She is responding well to treatment and her condition continues to improve … Lily thanks everyone for their messages of support and again asks that she and partner Sam Cooper be left alone whilst she recovers.”

Allen left a brief message on her Twitter, saying: “Thank you for all your kind messages.”

Pop star Lily Allen is once again suffering through the heartbreak of a misarriage

The 25-year-old British singer confirmed through her rep that she had lost her second pregnancy.

“It is with great sadness that we have to confirm that Lily Allen and [boyfriend] Sam Cooper have lost their baby,” the rep said, “The couple ask that their privacy be respected and that they be left alone at this deeply distressing time. No further comment will be made.”

Lily announced her pregnancy in August. It would have been her first child with Sam, who is a luxury decorator.

The singer was around six months pregnant.

Lily had previously suffered a miscarriage when she was dating Chemical Brothers musician Ed Simmons in 2008.

Lily Allen should probably have learned from M.I.A. that you don’t mess with Lady Gaga without incurring the wrath of her army of Little Monsters.

The “Not Fair” singer attempted to make a funny at the “Alejandro” songbird’s expense while performing at this year’s Big Chill festival in England, after an over-zealous fan tossed a potato at her onstage. Presumably referencing the rumors that Gaga is a hermaphrodite, Allen reportedly quipped,

“Somebody threw this potato at me. It says, ‘Show me your penis.’ They must have mistaken me for Lady Gaga.”

Allen’s attempt at humor was met with a frosty reception by the Big Chill crowd of approximately 30,000, prompting her to clarify that she was “only joking.” But that apparently didn’t satisfy Gaga’s worldwide legion of fans, because Allen was forced to once again issue a mea culpa via her Twitter account, noting,

“Everyone knows I am Lady Gaga’s biggest fan. So don’t believe the bull****. I’m a little monster and NO OnE can take that away from me !”

Perhaps Allen’s attitude is already being softened by her impending motherhood.

‘Smile’ crooner Lily Allen is expecting her first child, and she and boyfriend Sam Cooper have announced that they’re “delighted” about the news.

PEOPLE confirmed a UK Sun report that Allen, 25, will become a mom with boyfriend Cooper, 32.

But fear not, Lily fans. Her rep confirms to PEOPLE that “Lily’s professional commitments will carry on as normal, including a scheduled performance at the Big Chill this weekend.”

In January of 2008, Allen suffered a miscarriage after becoming pregnant with her then-boyfriend, Ed Simons. Allen was 22 at the time and has stayed mum about the tragedy.  Her spokesperson released a statement at the time stating: “She and her partner Ed Simons will be making no further comment, and we ask that their privacy be respected during this difficult time”

The British crooner shot to international stardom in 2007 on the heels of her smash debut album, ‘Alright, Still.’ Her brand of catchy pop tunes with a bit of an edge like ‘Smile’ and ‘LDN’ earned her millions of fans. In 2009, she released ‘It’s Not Me, It’s You,’ which wasn’t able to match the critical and commercial success of ‘Alright.’

Well, a girl has to have priorities…

“Smile” singer Lily Allen reportedly blew off the Institute for Contemporary Arts’ Annual Fundraiser Gala Party on Wednesday so she could go clubbing. 

Allen, who was scheduled to perform at the event, backed out at the last minute, claiming she had come down with tonsillitis. But the purported illness apparently wasn’t enough to keep Allen from partying—the 24-year-old songbird was reportedly spotted at London club The Social on the night she was supposed to be lending her talents to the charity event.

Come on, Lily, can’t you combine your scheduled appearances with Super-Party Fun Time? After all, it’s nothing you haven’t managed before…
