File this one under a win for the zombies.

Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, the uber-popular novel by Seth Grahame Smith that put a deadly twist on the Jane Austin classic, is getting another shot at the big screen — this time, with Lily Collins (aka the actress who once dated Taylor Lautner) in the lead.

Burr Steers will spearhead the project, writes Variety, taking over from a longlist that included names like David O. Russell, Mike White and Craig Gillespie.

Natalie Portman was previously set to star but left the project — kind of like how everyone is now leaving that weird-sounding Jane Got a Gun movie.

Incidentally, it was reported on Wednesday that Portman will star opposite Michael Fassbender in a new adaptation of Macbeth.

So, it’s a win-win for everyone this morning.

The stars have headed north of the border for the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival this week, bringing some serious style power with them.

With fashion powerhouses Gwyneth Paltrow, Keira Knightley and Kate Hudson the red carpet fashion is sure to be good.

And this year, Hollywood’s new crop of style stars, including Jennifer Lawrence, Kristen Stewart, Lily Collins and Emma Watson are keeping the red carpet interesting with their cool, fresh style.

Twilight’s Jamie Campbell Bower sure moves on quickly.

Less than two weeks after revealing he had split with Bonnie Wright, his fiancée of over a year, the 23-year-old has been caught getting close to his new co-star Lily Collins.

Bower and Collins, 23, were spotted walking hand in hand on Tuesday in Toronto, Canada, where they are set to start filming Mortal Instruments, based on the science fiction book series of the same name.

Now, the author of ‘Mortal Instruments’ has revealed that Collins and Bower were already “incredible together” a year ago.

Author Cassandra Clare says it was the chemistry between the pair in real life — even though Bower was engaged at the time – that landed them the role of on-screen lovers.

“He auditioned with Lily, and he and Lily had incredible chemistry that sort of blazed off the scene,” she said in an interview with MTV in June of last year.

“He was snarky funny where he needed to be snarky funny, and he was badass where he needed to be badass. And he and Lily were incredible together.”

They also rehearsed a kissing scene, Clare said.

According to the author, Collins — who has previously been romantically tied to Zac Efron — was certainly impressed with her possible co-star, campaigning to ensure her on-screen love interest was Bower.

“In fact, after all the auditions, because she’s done auditions with a bunch of different actors, she wrote to the head of the studio, Clint Culpepper of Screen Gems, and she was like, ‘It’s Jamie. It’s gotta be Jamie.’

“He told me that, this was before he had seen the audition, he told me that he wrote back and he was like, ‘He’s a rock star hipster kind of guy. Do you think he can be a badass warrior-dude, as well?’ And she wrote back and said, ‘That is Jace standing there. When you watch the audition, you’ll see what I see.’ ”

Ironically, Bower also met his ex-fiancé on set too.

After just six months of dating, the Sweeney Todd actor proposed to 21-year-old-old Wright, who he met on set of Harry Potter. The engaged couple had been living together in a London townhouse prior to the split.

Bower told the Daily Mail he was “heartbroken” last month but did not say when the pair had split.

Us Weekly reported Monday that Zac Efron and Lily Collins have broken up after three months of dating; however, Celebuzz has confirmed their fling actually ended months earlier.

“They stopped hanging out back in April,” a source close to Efron, 24, tells us. “It was never serious, they just went out on a few dates, that’s it.”

The Lucky One actor was spotted out with the Mirror Mirror star on a dinner date on Valentine’s Day, fueling rumors the two were a couple, but it was much more casual than that.

Aside from a few movie nights and group outings, the duo rarely saw each other. Says Celebuzz’s insider:

They both had busy work schedules. When [Lily] was done promoting Mirror Mirror, Zac went on a big press tour to promote The Lucky One. There was no big dramatic split or anything because they were never very serious.

Zac hasn’t dated anyone seriously since splitting with Vanessa Hudgens in December 2010. Meanwhile, Collins dated her Abduction costar Taylor Lautner for a few months in 2011.

After the triumphant opening, the focus has now switched to this weekend’s box office battle and Celebuzz has your early look at the contenders. Let’s take a peek.

Two very big — yet very different — fantasy films go head to head.  First up we have Wrath of the Titans, the sequel to 2010′s Clash of the Titans.  

This installment focuses on Perseus (Sam Worthington) as he tries to live a quiet life with his 10-year-old son, Helius (John Bell).  Meanwhile, a battle of power rages between the Gods and the Titans, played by Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes.

In another fantasy world, we have the first of two Snow White adaptations to be released this year, Mirror Mirror.  

 The film stars Lily Collins as Snow White, Armie Hammer as Prince Charming — and Julia Roberts as the evil queen. This version is much lighter and more fun than the darker Snow White and the Huntsmen, which releases in June.  Mirror Mirror looks to be quite the romp and is bound to be a family favorite.

From the less fantasy, more real category, this weekend sees the premiere of the documentary Bully.  

The much-hyped docu-film follows the lives of various teenagers as they deal with bullying in schools. This eye-opening view into the world of teens and bullies is a must see for anyone who is unaware of the severity of this national dilemma.

It’s no secret that January Jones is one of Hollywood’s biggest fashion risk-takers, but what is one item that she is loving right now?

Celebuzz chatted with the Mad Men star at the show’s premiere party in Hollywood this past week, and asked her what her style must have is.

Any guesses as to what it could be?

It’s leather! She told us, “I’ve been looking at all the shows, but right now I’m really into leather. Leather pants, I know it’s probably not best for spring [laughs].”

Who’s the fairest of them all? Lily Collins, of course!

The 22-year-old looked very much the part of Snow White at the Mirror Mirror premiere in Los Angeles this Saturday. Dressed in a sparkly Dolce & Gabbana frock, Lily looked radiant as she greeted fans at the red carpet event. Although Prince Charming Armie Hammer wasn’t present due to a missed flight, Lily was still all smiles as she stepped out to promote the film with her onscreen evil stepmother, Julia Roberts.

Lily recently dished to Celebuzz about how grateful she is to be in the entertainment industry.

“I find it extremely difficult to complain. About anything! I’m so extremely lucky,” she said at her very own NYLON cover party. “I believe you put as much of yourself out there as you’re willing to put out there, and if you start [doing that too much] it comes with consequences. Everyone has their own process of dealing with the media and being public or whatnot, but as long as you know who you are and feel confident within yourself, then I feel like you will handle it in the right way.”

Lily also gushed about “down to earth” Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence. Is this a slight girl crush we might be detecting?

“She’s awesome. I really respect her as an actress and a person. She also, I feel, is able to keep her private life private and she values it so much, and she values her family. I think she’s an awesome role model.”

Mirror Mirror hits theaters March 30.

Something neon! I never thought neon was my thing. It makes me happy! I think it’s a great color for Spring.

NYLON Magazine and Coach threw an amazing dinner at Scarpetta restaurant at The Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills Tuesday night in honor of cover girl Lily Collins. The Mirror Mirror star was joined by friends like Ryan Rottman and Victoria Justice as well as Glee‘s Chord Overstreet, and Lily was in great spirits at the intimate gathering.

The Hunger Games is featured in NYLON‘s March issue as well, and Lily couldn’t be happier for Jennifer Lawrence (the two girls also recently shared the cover of Vanity Fair together).

“How cool is she? She is so down to earth and normal,” Lily told Celebuzz at her dinner. “She’s awesome. I really respect her as an actress and a person. She also, I feel, is able to keep her private life private and she values it so much, and she values her family. I think she’s an awesome role model.”

So as fame grows for Lily — who is rumored to be dating Zac Efron — does she it important to keep her private life private?

“There is a certain balance. I want people to feel like I’m not this caricature of a person or even what they consider a ‘celebrity.’ I’m just a normal girl who fought to get to where she is, and I have fun along the way. I want to be as open as I can be, but what I value most about old Hollywood actresses is they kept a mystic and mystery about them that kept people asking questions. I think there’s something to be said about keeping certain things–relationships, experiences–private.

Still, don’t expect Collins to complain about being famous. Like JLaw, who recently said she “hates when actors complain,” Lily feels extremely lucky to be where she is:

“I find it extremely difficult to complain. About anything! I’m so extremely lucky. I mean, having a party in my honor for the cover of a magazine–what! It’s so weird to me. I believe you put as much of yourself out there as you’re willing to put out there, and if you start [doing that too much] it comes with consequences. Everyone has their own process of dealing with the media and being public or whatnot, but as long as you know who you are and feel confident within yourself, then I feel like you will handle it in the right way.”

One way Lily doesn’t handle it? By going through a party phase. She said in her NYLON interview that you won’t find her out at clubs. So what does she do instead? ”I love listening to music, going to the movie theater, just hanging out with friends,” Lily said with a smile.

Lily Collins is ready to be the fairest of them all, starring as Snow White in the highly anticipated movie, Mirror Mirror. The 22-year-old actress graces the March cover of NYLON and opens up about her new film and how she doesn’t plan on ever being a tabloid party girl.

Although critics are already pitting her against Kristen Stewart‘s portrayal of Snow White, Lily isn’t letting it phase her, revealing:

“Growing up in the English countryside, I would go out into the fields and create my own stories, and I would run around as if I was in a movie. That’s why for me, playing Snow White was a crazy dream come true because I’ve always been someone who would read books and then go and make a movie in my head.”

So what’s next for her?

“I have no idea what will happen after Mirror Mirror, but I love that I can still do what I want to do on a weekend, like go to the flea market. I don’t ever want that to stop. I won’t want to suddenly have to sacrifice parts of myself, and I don’t feel like I am, knowing that people are going to be more interested in my personal life. I never did go out and party. I never did do the whole drinking, drugs…That wasn’t ever me and is never gonna be me.”

Sure, birthdays are all about celebrating, but who says you can’t give back to a good cause at the same time?

Victorious star Avan Jogia threw a star-studded party for his birthday at West Hollywood’s Hamburger Mary’s on Wednesday night, with all proceeds raised going toward his anti-bullying campaign, Straight But Not Narrow. Avan was the night’s celebrity guest for the haunt’s famed drag queen bingo, and pulled the bingo balls for a packed house. And though Avan’s actual birthday isn’t until February 9, a number of his friends came to support him, including Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson.

So, who were some other stars to stop by?

Avan’s Victorious co-stars Matt Bennett and Liz Gilles attended, as well as Ringer star Zoey Deutch, 90210‘s Ryan Rottman (who is featured in his own SBNN vid), and Landon Liborion from FOX’s Terra Nova. Rounding out the group was Zac Efron and Lily Collins, who chatted for a majority of the night, though the large group were all mingling and having a great time.

So which Hollywood stars’ posters covered her walls?
In the upcoming March issue of Seventeen–which hits shelves on February 7, she confesses:

“When I was younger, it was definitely Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic. I had pictures of him and I had ‘NSYNC posted. I had the biggest crush on Justin Timberlake!”

But now that she’s a rising star, Lily reveals, “It’s weird to have celebrity crushes now because I could actually meet or work with them.”

Can you imagine Snow White and the Huntsman with Lily Collins? The beauty who portrays Snow White in Mirror Mirror told Access Hollywood she auditioned for Kristen Stewart‘s role!

“I did read the other Snow White script,” Collins told correspondent Elizabeth Chambers, the gorgeous wife of Lily’s co-star, Armie Hammer. “I auditioned for it, but I’ve been so excited for Kristen. I think that story is so different than ours and the girls are so different. She’s perfect for her version, and I’m really excited to be doing this one and I think they have totally different audiences.”

Judging from the two trailers, these films will not be similar.

“Our Snow White starts off as the fairytale princess we all know and love and then she progresses into a young woman and much of a fighter, but it’s not an edgy version of the story or a darker version,” says Lily. “It’s very much a comedic adventure and I think the other one is a little darker.”

Mirror, mirror on the wall: who’s the fairest Snow White of them all?

Hollywood has dedicated three different adaptations in this year alone of the fairy-tale princess: Snow White, Snow White & The Huntsman and Once Upon a Time. Each version carries an all-star cast, and there’s no denying the recent buzz over the classic children’s story.

Just this past Sunday, Once premiered with the highest ratings of the fall 2011 TV season. Ginnifer Goodwin portrays Snow White in the fantasy drama, and while her character remains true to the princess’ innocent demeanor, the show’s storylines prove that not everything has a fairy-tale ending.

In the yet to be titled Snow White movie, Lily Collins headlines the cast as the film’s leading heroine. Lily’s portrayal also seems to stay along the lines of Snow White’s girlish appearance, but audiences are in store for a darker, more twisted version of the Disney film, which hits theaters next year.

Snow White & The Huntsman hits theaters next summer and stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth, and is based on the Grimm Brothers‘ book. Forget flowy gowns and tiaras! K-Stew’s take has her carrying swords and donning armor–definitely a much more rugged and extreme adaptation, that’s for sure.

We’ve seen the photos of Kristen Stewart in costume for her rendition of Snow White, but now some stills of Lily Collins as the fairy tale character have surfaced!

Lily looks lovely as the classic character, while Julia Roberts fits the role perfectly of the Evil Queen, and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as the handsome prince. However according to IMDB, this isn’t your typical Snow White tale. The website’s description reads: 

“A dark twist on the classic fairy tale, in which Snow White and the seven dwarfs look to reclaim their destroyed kingdom.”

Sounds a little like the 1985 film Return to Oz. Meanwhile, K-Stew’s Snow White & The Huntsman looks very different. Check out those on set pics below!

Amid breakup rumors, Abduction costars Taylor Lautner and Lily Collins looked happier than ever as they posed together at the Paris premiere Tuesday night at Cinema Gaumont Marignan. 

The young stars smiled  for the cameras as they stood arm-in-arm together on the red carpet as if the break-up never even happened!

In the September issue of Seventeen, Taylor chatted about his beautiful costar, saying: 

“You can feel some sort of chemistry or a connection when you are reading a script with someone for the first time. And that was totally the case with Lily.”

There is nothing wrong with a friendly rivalry in Hollywood! Kristen Stewart and Lily Collins are both playing Snow White in separate films, but the two projects couldn’t be any different.

Some unauthorized shots (sorry!) of K.Stew hanging on set hit the web today, and you can see Kristen decked out in her armor that looks identical to the picture released at this past Comic-Con. Lily’s Snow White is definitely not as dark, as she is rocking a dress closer to the original character.

Both girls stepped out in London recently so we gotta ask: who has the best Snow White hair?

Collins debuted her gorgeous darker look at the Abduction premiere in the UK, and Kristen showed off her perfectly coifed jet-black hair over fashion week.

Lily Collins and Taylor Lautner reportedly broke up earlier this month, but the duo still managed to play nice Monday at the UK premiere of their movie, Abduction, held at the BFI Imax Waterloo in London.

Though Lily noticeably neglected to pose with Taylor at the US premiere of Abduction, the 22-year-old daughter of English singer-songwriter Phil Collins seems to have mended her relationship with her co-star – at least enough to put her arms around Taylor for a few photographs. 

In the October issue of Seventeen, Taylor spoke out about the instant chemistry he felt with Lily during filming for Abduction:

“You can feel some sort of chemistry or a connection when you are reading a script with someone for the first time. And that was totally the case with Lily.”
