The post, titled “He Knew,” reads, “Years ago Michael and I were having a deep conversation about life in general. I can’t recall the exact subject matter but he may have been questioning me about the circumstances of my father’s death. At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, ‘I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.’”

Presley goes on to note that, though she tried to “deter” her then-husband from such notions, Jackson “just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that.”

Jackson’s ex—whose union to the singer lasted a mere 20 months—adds that she’s now “gutted” by guilt over her inability to help him avoid the fate that befell him on Thursday afternoon.

“The person I failed to help is being transferred right now to the LA County Coroners office for his autopsy,” Presley laments. “All of my indifference and detachment that I worked so hard to achieve over the years has just gone into the bowels of hell and right now I am gutted.”

“I am so very sad and confused with every emotion possible,” the statement reads. “I am heartbroken for his children who I know were everything to him and for his family. This is such a massive loss on so many levels, words fail me.”

Presley, daughter of rock ‘n’ roll legend Elvis Presley, wed Jackson in the Dominican Republic on May 26, 1994. The two split 20 months later, when Presley filed for divorce in January 1996.

Maureen McCormick (aka television’s Marcia Brady) has a new memoir hitting book stores today. Here’s The Story: Surviving Marcia Brady And Finding My True Voice details McCormick’s struggles with drug dependency after The Brady Bunch tv show ended in 1974. Fox News reports that, in the memoir, McCormick writes about trading sex for drugs, an unwanted pregnancy, and failing an audition with director Steven Spielberg because she was high. McCormick got sober in 1985 and went on to win VH-1′s Celebrity Fit Club.

People reports that Dallas Cowboys QB and Jessica Simpson‘s boyfriend Tony Romo broke the little finger on his right hand Sunday during the Cowboys vs. Arizona Cardinals game. Romo will be out for four weeks. The Cowboys lost to the Cardinals after the game went into overtime.

Hollywood producer Brian Grazer (partner of director Ron Howard in Imagine Entertainment) is currently involved in a divorce battle with his ex-wife Gigi. Mrs. Grazer is asking for $988,184 a month in child and spousal support, according to TMZ. Gigi is also looking for $1,000 a month for “furniture and appliance replacement” in their Hawaii home, and $7,000 a month for “fine art purchases.” Sources say that Brian Grazer’s yearly income is $28 million.

The Mirror reports that George Michael was passed over for the Outstanding Contribution to Music Award at next year’s Brit Awards due to his arrest for crack cocaine possession in a public restroom in London on Sept 21. Producers have reportedly begun looking for another recipient.

Twin fever is sweeping through Hollywood, and Us reports that Lisa Marie, 40, is the latest celeb mom to pop out a twosome.

Presley and Lockwood “welcomed two baby girls on Tuesday, October 7, by C-section at 2:46 p.m.,” said a rep. “The babies weighed 5 lbs., 15 oz., and 5 lbs., 2 oz.”

The girls were delivered at Los Robles Hospital in Thousand Oaks, California.

Lisa Marie, the daughter of Elvis and Priscilla Presley, is the latest well-known mom to give birth in secret, without the paparazzi being tipped off till after the fact.

Of course, others aren’t so adept at being sneaky.

The names of Presley’s twins have not yet been revealed.
