First the Twilight heartthrob revealed that he sings under the nom du rock Spunk Ransom.

And now RPattz tells British paper the Guardian that the fake names he uses to register in hotel rooms tend to take a turn toward the blue.

“I was Clive Handjob in Paris,” Pattinson recalls. “Everyone in the hotel called me ‘Monsieur Handjob.’ That was good, cheap fun.”

Speaking of good, cheap fun, Pattinson also expounds on his upcoming tiny indie flick, Little Ashes, which hits screens on May 8. In the past Pattinson had referred to the film—in which he plays surrealist painter Salvador Dali—as “nothing,” which brought no small amount of criticism down upon his pale shoulders. Now Pattinson is going to great pains to clarify his statement.

“I hate having to do all this sh*t! I’ve already been told to apologize for saying it,” Pattinson fumes. “I was just trying to say that it was a tiny, little film. It had a minuscule budget. I was just trying to say that if Twilight hadn’t come along, I don’t know how much Little Ashes would have been publicized. In an ideal world, everyone would go around watching arthouse films about Dali and [Spanish poet Federico] Lorca. But a lot of people have no idea who Lorca even was.”

Wow; a hottie and a champion of obscure poets. It really makes you want to shake the guy’s hand. As long as he washes it first.

The Twilight heartthrob’s latest movie, Little Ashes, hits the big screen on May 8, and with its imminent release, a very special clip from the flick has found its way onto the Internet.

The movie, which stars Pattinson as surrealist painter Salvador Dali and Javier Beltran as poet Federico Garcia Lorca, chronicles a passionate love affair between the two. Well, every affair begins with a kiss, and here’s Pattinson and Beltran’s. Check out the steamy, guy-on-guy goodness below:

A new clip from the Twilight stud’s upcoming film, Little Ashes, has emerged, and from the looks of things RPattz is keeping the wig department pretty busy.

Combined with his frilly shirt, Rob’s wild tresses make him look like quite the dandy. Check him out, portraying pre-moustache Salvador Dali in the clip below:

In the clip, Pattinson (who plays famed artist Salvador Dali) cuddles with his lover Federico Lorca (Beltran) on the beach—complete with Beltran reciting poetry and lovingly rubbing Pattinson’s head:

Later on, the battling artful lovers (Rob sporting Dali’s infamous upswept moustache) argue over champagne.

The good news for Beltran is that, in such intimate proximity to the Twilight star, Rob does occasionally hit himself with a bar of soap.

“I also do shower,” Pattinson told Moviefone in a recent interview, despite reports that his vampire costars are suffering because of his resistance to bathing.

“I was kind of crossing lines of what I thought I was comfortable doing. I had to do all this naked stuff,” the actor tells GQ magazine of his work in Little Ashes, where Rpattz plays a young Salvador Dali.

The film follows the love affair between Pattinson’s Dali and poet Federico García Lorca, played by Javier Beltrán.

“And here I am, with Javier, who plays Lorca, doing an extremely hard-core sex scene, where I have a nervous breakdown afterward,” Pattinson says, “and because we’re both straight, what we were doing seemed kind of ridiculous.”

“There’s all these gay sex scenes. And y’know, I haven’t even done a sex scene with a girl, in my whole career.”

For his love scenes with Beltrán, Pattinson felt overexposed to production staff.

“Trying to do it doggie-style. Trying to have a nervous breakdown while doing it doggie-style. And it wasn’t even a closed set. There were all these Spanish electricians giggling to themselves.”

It seems, however, he has the Twilight franchise to thank for the movie even being released (by Regent Releasing).

“It would never have been released. I mean, that’s a terrible thing to say, but this was a movie where we didn’t even have stand-ins! We were scrambling, the entire time. We didn’t even have trailers.”

We don’t think that’s a problem now, Rob.

According to a source close to Pattinson’s Little Ashes, the movie’s release has been pushed from March 27 to May 8. The March date was significant as it marked the opening of Stewart’s movie Adventureland. 

The new May release means the two stars—who famously played lovers in Twilight—will no longer go head-to-head on their respective opening weekend. 

“It was going to be fun, the little competition with the two films,” says the Ashes source. “But this gives everyone time to really give Ashes the attention it needs.”

The timing issue came with the success of Departures, an Oscar-nominated film being released by Regent Releasing, the same company handling Little Ashes.

“They want to give Departures the attention and budget it deserves,” says the source. “And then move onto Ashes.”

The Los Angeles Times reports that Pattinson’s Little Ashes—in which the Twilight hunk plays surrealist painter Salvador Dali—and Stewart’s comedy Adventureland—about an amusement-park employee who learns important life lessons from his work environment—will both be released on March 27.

And even though they’re both making the big bucks these days, Pattinson, 22, and Stewart, 18, can’t be happy about the fact that they’ll be vying for the Twilight audience’s movie-going dollar.

Hopefully this won’t cause the castmates to be at each others’ throats while filming the upcoming Twilight sequel New Moon—which, coincidentally, begins filming in March.

As the vampire flick’s publicity machine trudges on, the 22-year-old Brit took part in a hand-print ceremony at the New York City Planet Hollywood.

Unfortunately, Robert’s excitement seemed to be showing through. Or, rather, leaking through.

You can’t really blame poor Rob. With all the attention—and sombreros—being heaped upon him lately, he’s bound to be a tad keyed up just two weeks before the release of Twilight.

This is nothing, though, compared to how hot and sweaty it’s rumored RPattz gets in his next project.
