Zayn Malik‘s love life is still heading in “one direction.”

The 20-year-old is back in the arms of Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards — literally — following reports that he had cheated on his songstress girlfriend with a former stripper.

On Thursday, the couple visited UK’s Knowsley Safari Park where they were seen feeding giraffes and taking a tour of the lion’s habitat. Edwards, 19, later snapped a few shots of her One Direction boyfriend for her Instagram album.

In one photo, the musical duo are seen beaming for the camera as they cuddled up in the back of a car.

“Had an amazing day today at @knowsleysafari It was such a good day out! @zaynmalik :) Perrie <3,” Edwards wrote on her band’s official Twitter.

The couple’s zoo date comes after Courtney Webb, a 21-year-old former exotic dancer, went public with claims that she had slept with Malik in his £2.2 million North London home while Edwards was away on tour.

Though Malik has yet to confirm the reports, a source close to One Direction told Celebuzz that the British heartthrob had talked it over with his girlfriend before his cheating scandal made headline news.

“Zayn suspected almost immediately that he had been duped by Courtney and warned Perrie about the possibility of a kiss-and-tell story emerging — that was before the media even found out,” the insider said.

“Zayn just seemed lost for several days,” the source added. “But with the authority of Simon [Cowell], he was given time off from band commitments and rehearsals to explain his situation to Perrie.”

Malik and Edwards briefly dated in late 2011 after meeting on UK’s The X Factor before going public officially in May 2012.

If there’s one way to show your love for someone, it’s proudly wearing their name on your shirt.

Zayn Malik sported a large “P” on his sweater in honor of his girlfriend, Perrie Edwards, during a recent One Direction rehearsal. The move will hopefully help to put cheating rumors to rest and show the world the famous couple is back on track.

Zayn’s shirt love is the latest in a string of public declarations of love for Edwards. Earlier in the week, the 19-year-old  was spotted enthusiastically cheering his girl on at one of her shows, yelling, “I love you, Perrie.”

And it looks as if the Little Mix singer has chosen to forgive him for his alleged infidelity. The pair were on the rocks after Malik reportedly cheated on Edwards with Australian waitress Courtney Webb in January. Webb was more than open about the tryst, and even snapped photos of a sleeping Malik.

And last August, Zayn temporarily deleted his Twitter account after complaining that he was sick of reading negative tweets about his relationship with Edwards, 19, including rumors the relationship was fake.

But with this his latest public display of love for Edwards, it seems as if the couple may weather the storm — just in time for Malik to head out on a world tour. One Direction is currently preparing for their Take Me Home tour, the 117-date jaunt that kicks off at London’s O2 Arena on February 23. The band will also visit the U.S., Australia and Japan.
