• Uma Thurman‘s newest movie Motherhood was a massive, magnificent bomb in the UK, where is pulled in roughly $130 on its opening weekend. That probably covered the paychecks for 1.5 extras. (Huffington Post)

’90210′ Girls Are Out-Thinning the Competition

Lori Loughlin, 90210 actress and mom to Shanae Grimes‘ character on the show, is defending the size of her co-stars in the wake of an Us cover story claiming the young actresses are too thin.

“They are thin, but they’ve been thin since the day I’ve met them,” Lori told In Touch. “It’s not like they got on the show and their weight just plummeted.”

Although the tiny size of toothpickers Shenae, Jessica Stroup and AnnaLynne McCord seems like a cause for alarm, the elder 90210 thesp insists the girls are healthy.

“I see them eating lunch and candy, and I’ve never seen a girl eat more Chick-Fil-A than AnnaLynne! These girls are young and their metabolisms are moving at light speed—they can eat whatever they want.”

Maybe it’s the teenagers’ high metabolisms that are making the older co-stars drop like flies. Although that’s not the only thing about the show that’s falling.

Predictions of ’90210′ Awesomeness!

With no advance screeners of the new 90210‘s pilot sent out to critics—not to mention no Tori Spelling, no Brian Austin Green and no Jason Priestley—who’s to say what the show will be like?

(Hey, at least Nat’s back.)

And so, with absolutely nothing to go by, here are a few predictions on what to expect.

* Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty) teaches Bitch Ed to dew-eyed West Beverly High freshman.

* WBHS principal Harry Wilson (Rob Estes) has an illicit affair with Kelly Taylor (Jennie Garth)…

* …until Brenda bursts in on them and body-checks Kelly into a basketball trophy case.

* Nat (Joe E. Tata) is a millionaire after selling The Peach Pit’s shuttered storefront to Pinkberry.

* The new cast…eh, who cares about them.

Heading Back to ’90210′

The much-heralded return of 90210 on the CW has stricken plenty of thirty-somethings almost breathless in anticipation. Now to whet appetites even more, there are photos from the first episode!

And it looks just like…every other teen show out there.

Midwestern outsider has to fit in (Shanae Grimes). Check. Sexy bitch on wheels rules the school (AnnaLynne McCord). Check. Interpid school reporter digging for the dirt (Michael Steger). Check.

Troubled high school dark horse in a wetsuit goes nightsurfing and intrigues the Midwesterner (Dustin Milligan). Check.

Well, its always smart to stick with your tried-’n-true formula.

At least we’ll have blasts from the past Jenny Garth and the evil Shannen Doherty gracing the halls of West Beverly High at some point.

Sadly, Tori Spelling felt that she was worth more than she actually is and bowed out.
