On Thursday, Kathy Griffin brought Carmen Electra, Johnny Weir and Margaret Cho together on her late night Bravo talk show, Kathy.

At one point, Griffin asked her guests to show how they would walk onto the set of Maury, a daytime talk show known for its dramatic topics.

The 52-year-old host demonstrated what she meant by brushing off her shoulders and repeating, “My swag is clean.”

The three guests joined in on the gag. Cho showed off her best gangster lean, Weir was full of “I told you so” attitude as the “baby daddy” and Electra played the “bad slut.”

Cover up those bellies, boobs and butts — this year, the Grammy Awards are going classy.

The 55th annual awards ceremony has allegedly issued a wardrobe advisory to all attendees an effort to avoid any too-revealing fashions from appearing on the Feb. 10 CBS telecast.

The policy calls for all talent set to appear on camera to ensure that “buttocks and female breasts,” as well as the “bare fleshy under curves of the buttocks and buttock crack,” are kept under wraps at the 2013 Grammy Award ceremony, according to a CBS-sent email circulated by multiple media reports.

Not only should “thong type costumes” — sorry, Toni Braxton — and “sheer see-through clothing” — cover up, Rihanna — be avoided, but “bare sides or under curvature of the breasts” — i.e. side-boob a la Miley Cyrus— are also off limits.

It’s not just too much bare skin that is banned. The dress code compels Grammy goers to avoid any commercial brand names, foreign language or obscenities on their garb. But oddly of all, talent are advised not to wear “lapel pins or any other form of accessory” that spells out any one organized cause.

So American flags or breast cancer awareness broaches are a no-go?

Perhaps CBS, which shelled out for steep FCC fines over Janet Jackson‘s nipple at the 2004 Super Bowl, is simply hoping to avoid any broadcasting hiccups. But for an award show beloved for its out-there outfits — be it good, bad, or please-God-never-again — such wide-ranging wardrobe restrictions could curb the publicity-pumping hoopla surrounding the ceremony.

What tongues weren’t wagging when Braxton wore that loincloth-like white dress back in 2001? And, of course, all viewers were just waiting with baited breath to see if Christina Aguilera‘s ta-tas would plummet out of her low-cut frock in 2004. But above of all, who can remember anything about the 2000 Grammy Awards except for Jennifer Lopez‘s down-to-there green Versace gown?

Without such risqué style moments this year, what will keep all eyes glued to the television for the Grammy red carpet? We’ll leave it to the music industry insiders to decide that. But before tuning in to the 55th annual Grammy Awards ceremony on Sun., Feb 10., take a look back at some skin-baring fashions that just won’t fly at this year’s show.

As the first Asian American to hold a lead role on a TV sitcom for 1994’s short-lived All-American Girl, Margaret Cho sees plenty of meaning in her Emmy nomination for guest comedy actress on 30 Rock.

“It’s great. It just proves that you can stay around in this business and keep trying and keep working and surviving,” Cho, 43, tells Celebuzz.

“And that’s a really great thing to know,” she continues. “You don’t have to give up on anything. You can keep on going. It’s really a rewarding and beautiful thing.”

With Saturday’s Creative Emmys ceremony approaching, we spoke to the Drop Dead Diva actress and musician about the hilarious role that snagged her the nomination, what it means to her and, of course, what she’s wearing.

Celebuzz: When Tina Fey first asked you to play Kim Jong Il, what did you think?
Margaret Cho: I was flattered and super-excited to do it. I was like, “I want to do this right now. This is the best idea.” I couldn’t do it fast enough. I mean, it was just so exciting.

CB: We don’t see a lot of footage of the guy. How did you decide how you were going to play him?
MC: It was really hard to find sound and image link of him, because it’s really tightly controlled. It was actually impossible for me to really find out what he sounded like. So, I just made him up. He’s really kind of an amalgam of people in my family and people I know. And part of my family is from North Korea, so that helped with the accent. And I look like Kim Jong Il, so that was perfect. I thought it relatively easy to do.

CB: Were you surprised when you found out about the nomination for such an out-of-the-box role?
MC: Yeah. I loved it. I was super-excited. I didn’t expect it, I didn’t even think about it. But, I found out and I was so elated. I’m really excited to go. I think it’s going to be a blast. I’m really honored to be nominated, especially among such great people, so it’s really cool. And I love Ben [Feldman, who’s nominated for his guest role on Mad Men]. So, I’m glad to be there for that.

CB: Do you care about being on the best or worst dressed lists?
MC: Oh, I don’t care. But, I am going to be dressed up nicely. I have made a commitment to myself that I’m going to shave my legs. I promise that I will do that. Ina Soltani is making my dress. She’s just got beautiful designs and she’s just glamorous. She makes clothes for Kim Kardashian. I’m super-excited about it.

Lifetime’s Drop Dead Diva took a few turns this past season as the characters explored their personal and professional passions. Plus, Jane (Brooke Elliott) finally moved on from pining for Grayson (Jackson Hurst) and prepared to marry Owen (Lex Medlin) on Sunday’s season finale.

But in true Diva season finale fashion, Jane and Owen’s nuptials won’t come without a few complications. “In a lot of ways, Jane is trying to make this work in this framework,” Margaret Cho, who plays resourceful assistant Teri, tells Celebuzz.

“It’s tough and a pretty intense experience,” she continues. “So, I think viewers are going to be really surprised.”

Cho, who’s up for an Emmy for 30 Rock and currently touring America with her “Mother” show, spoke with Celebuzz about the season finale, her personal thoughts on the show’s romances and what she’d like to see for Teri if the show gets a fifth season.

Celebuzz: It looks like Grayson may finally tell Jane how he feels on the season finale. What can you say about that?
Margaret Cho: Yeah, it comes to a head. It’s crazy intense. So, I think people are going to be really excited. For me, it’s what I’ve been waiting for from these characters for years!

CB: Do you personally think that Jane and Grayson should be together?
MC: Yeah, absolutely. I always thought that was the right thing. And then again, the story of the show is that you can’t have what you want. It’s kind of like on Grey’s Anatomy, how [Meredith and Derek] were together and then it took years to get back together.

CB: Teri is a bridesmaid at the wedding, but does she get to do anything else?
MC: No, but it’s a big deal. It’s a big wedding. She was briefly impersonating Jane to get her the wedding caterer. So, she’s been a part of the whole thing from the beginning.

CB: In real life, weddings are a big affair. Did it feel like a real wedding when you were shooting the season finale?
MC: It doesn’t feel like you’re shooting a wedding, because you shoot it out of sequence and also we’re on a set. Actually we were at the St. Regis hotel, which is like a nice hotel, and they wouldn’t let us sit on the couches. That’s how you know it isn’t a real wedding. I think it’s just what fans would like it to be. I’m really super excited that people are going to be blown away by it.

CB: Also, Fred is back on the season finale. What can you tell us about his return?
MC: Oh, it’s a really great moment. I love Fred and I love Ben [Feldman], the person, he’s really my good friend. So, it’s exciting to have him back and he’s nominated for an Emmy for supporting actor for Mad Men. So, he’s doing pretty well.

CB: You were able to explore Teri’s musical side with Lady Bodacious this season. Does that make a comeback on the finale?
MC: Not in the finale, but I definitely love doing all that stuff. I’m a musician, so it made sense to me and it was really a fun thing. So, I’m really excited.

CB: If the show gets another season, what do you want for Teri?
MC: Teri needs a boyfriend, I think. She’s definitely Teri for Teri’s sake – there’s never a man involved there. But, that’s my idea for Teri. It hasn’t happened yet, but I really think it’s an important thing… I’d love to see her have a relationship.

CB: What kind of girlfriend would Teri be?
MC: I think she’d be really, really needy. You know, like super-suspicious that they’re cheating [laughs].

CB: Drop Dead Diva does the best season finale cliffhangers. How do you think people are going to feel at the end of this one?
MC: I think people are going to be so psyched for next season. That’s how I felt after I read it. I was like, “Oh my God, what’s going to happen?!” I love that. And I love that it inspires that kind of feeling in me and I’m there making it. So, I think that everybody is going to be really excited.

Margaret Cho is ready to cha-cha-cha her way back onto the dance floor of ABC’s hit show Dancing With the Stars.

The season 11 contestant, who was the third person voted off after her week three samba, is vying to come back for the upcoming All-Star season, featuring stars from all 14 seasons.

“I would want to do it,” the 43-year-old comedian told Celebuzz.

“I had a great time. I didn’t go very far, but I think if I did it again that I would do really well. I’ve been practicing dancing.”

While the cast hasn’t been revealed yet — it could include Bristol Palin, Mario Lopez and Kate Gosselin — Drop Dead Diva star Cho admitted she wants a second chance to win the coveted Mirror Ball trophy, this time — without her previous partner Louis van Amstel.

Cho’s Drop Dead Diva returned last Sunday for a fourth season on Lifetime with guest star Kim Kardashian in the first of a three-episode appearance.

“I’m singing a new song that will be the theme song for the business that Kim Kardashian and April Bowlby‘s characters start. I’m helping them out with their bakery,” Cho revealed.

Though Kardashian made her silven screen acting debut, Cho revealed she didn’t even get to meet the 31-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star.

“She was on set and it was such high security like the president was here,” she said.

“It was very, very secure and locked down which I guess is good, but I couldn’t even get in there.”
