Mark-Paul Gosselaar let his abs do the talking on Friday as he filmed new scenes for his TV series Franklin & Bash.

The 39-year-old actor sported nothing but a pair of baby blue swim trunks as he hit the beach in Malibu with a full crew and cameras.

Gosselaar, who plays attorney Peter Bash in the TNT series, was joined by his co-star Breckin Meyer, who also flaunted his abs on set.

Franklin & Bash, which also stars Garcelle Beauvais and Heather Locklear, has yet to announce the premiere date for season three.

Gosselaar’s shirtless display comes just over one week after he was spotted on the same set with a half-worn surfing suit.

Former Saved by the Bell star Mark-Paul Gosselaar continued to prove the theory that men only get better with age as he filmed scenes for his TV series Franklin & Bash on Tuesday.

The 39-year-old actor — who on Monday confirmed he’s expecting his first child with wife Catriona McGinn — stripped down to a whole lot of nothing on the beaches of Malibu, which allowed everyone to catch a sneak peek at his seriously ripped body.

Granted, we kind of miss his blond hair from his days playing Zack Morris — but there’s no denying the man still looks mighty good.

It’s been a long time since TNT’s Franklin & Bash star and Saved by the Bell Alum Mark-Paul Gosselaar starred on his own half-hour comedy, but this television season he is checking off guest starring on them left and right. First it was playing a version of himself on ABC’s Don’t Trust the B in Apartment 23, and now he’s popping up on Happy Endings.

“It was awesome for me to work with Mark-Paul! I was totally star-struck, maybe the most star-struck I’ve been, doing scenes with Zack Morris,” Happy Endings star Adam Pally told Celebuzz.

Pally probably had the most screen time with Gosselaar, as Gosselaar’s characters comes into Tuesday’s all new episode, “The Ex-Factor,” as Max’s new roommate. But that gang is so tight, the minute someone new steps in, they all want to get to know him to see how he’ll vibe with the whole group.

“Dave, and Max and Alex are all kind of instantly struck by how cool he is, but Max has sworn that he’s never going to get involved with a roommate again: ‘I made that mistake last time.’ And Dave is like ‘Wait, I was your last roommate,’ and Max goes, ‘Yeah, that was a disaster, I’m just not going to do that again,’” series executive producer Jonathan Groff said.

“So they all go to meet him, and they’re taken with him, so we needed somebody who just had a good energy and a ‘had his s**t together’ vibe. We knew Mark-Paul could play that really well. He got the joke of why it would be funny to do it.”

CBS has given full season orders to freshman dramas Vegas and Elementary. In a statement, network president Nina Tassler said, “Vegas and Elementary have opened strong, delivering big audiences and winning performances in important time periods.” The two shows are the  No.1 and No. 2 new series of the season both averaging more than 14 million viewers. Vegas airs Tuesdays at 10 PM and Elementary airs Thursdays at 10 PM. Ask Obama Live: An MTV Interview With the President will air live on all MTV networks this Friday at 5 PM EST. Barack Obama will sit down with MTV News Correspondent Sway at the White House as he asks your questions regarding young voter concerns including jobs, student loan debt and immigration issues. Andrew Jenks will be on-the-ground at a nearby college with a group of young voters and hold a before and after discussion which will air on MTV.com. The audience can submit questions for the President on MTV’s Facebook page. The network has also issued an invitation to Governor Mitt Romney for a live 30-minute special prior to Election Day. Glamour magazine’s Fashion Editor Louise Roe is joining NBC’s Fashion Star as host for Season 2. The journalist and sometimes host will be officially replacing Elle Macpherson in the role. In addition, fashion retailer Express is also teaming up with the series as a buyer in addition to current buyers Macy’s and Saks Fifth Avenue. Roe previously hosted The CW’s makeover show Plain Jane. The second season of Fashion Star will air in Spring of 2013.[NBC]

Tuesday’s Season 2 premiere of ABC’s Don’t Trust the B**** in Apt. 23 will feature a guest appearance by Zack Morris himself, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, but that won’t be the only ABC comedy the actor is appearing on. Gosselaar will also pop up on Happy Endings as Max’s (Adam Pally) “new mysterious roommate,” Chase on Episode 10. The new seasons of Apt. 23 and Happy Endings premiere Tuesday at 8:30 PM and 9 PM, respectively, on ABC. Gosselar’s TNT show Franklin and Bash was recently renewed for Season 3. [EW]

Chuck‘s Adam Baldwin will replace Lost vet Titus Welliver on TNT drama pilot The Last Ship, after Welliver was forced to drop the show due to a family health issue. The Last Ship will be executive produced by Michael Bay and is also set to star Eric Dane. Baldwin will play second in command to the Captain (Dane), Mike Slattery. [Deadline]

Actress Jane Fonda is set to star on a new ABC Comedy, currently titled Now What?, which is set to premiere in 2013. The show is from Pushing Daises writer Abby Gewanter and will be directed by Scott Ellis. The comedy will focus on a young girl who declares her hatred for her mother (Fonda) in a blog post. Wanting to work out their differences, the mother then moves in with her daughter and the hijinks ensure from there. The Oscar-winning actress most recently appeared on HBO’s The Newsroom and can be seen playing Nancy Reagan in Lee Daniels’ The Butler. [Variety]

Mark-Paul Gosselaar — who famously played Zach Morris on Saved By The Bell — tied the knot on Saturday with advertising executive Catriona McGinn. The couple said “I do” on Saturday at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, Calif, taking the Franklin & Bash star officially off the market.

Saved by the Bell was a classic Saturday morning staple in the ’90s. The sitcom followed the exploits of teens in high school and their relationship with their principal, Mr. Belding.

On the show, Gosselaar played Zack Morris. His character had an on-off relationship with Kelly Kapowski (Tiffani Thiessen) throughout the series, eventually marrying in a TV movie.

Today, Gosselaar stars as attorney Peter Bash on TNT’s Franklin & Bash. The actor has two children with ex-wife Lisa Ann Russell and remarried on July 28, 2012.

Since ending her reign as Bayside High School’s most popular cheerleader, Thiessen now plays Elizabeth Burke on USA’s White Collar. She is currently married to actor Brady Smith, with whom she has a daughter.

Dustin Diamond played Samuel “Screech” Powers on the show but shed his nerdy on-screen image in 2006 when he directed and released his own sex tape, Screeched — Saved By the Smell. He also released a tell-all book about his costars in 2009, titled Behind the Bell.

Mario Lopez played high school jock “A.C.” Slater. The ripped actor obviously hasn’t lost his beefcake bod. The Extra host — who has a daughter, Gia, with his fiancee Courtney Mazza — was recently spotted shirtless, pushing a stroller and showing off his killer abs.

In what is sure to be devastating news to the Zack Morris fan club, Mark-Paul Gosselaar is back off the market.

Although his divorce was just finalized a few months ago back in May, People reports another woman has already snagged the newly single stud. He and advertising executive Catriona McGinn haven’t set a date, but the two are reportedly ready to walk down the aisle in the near future.

According to the report, the Saved by the Bell teen heartthrob (and current Franklin & Bash leading man) proposed last week with a 5 carat cushion-cut diamond ring designed by famed jeweler Neil Lane, who says MPG has found “the woman of his dreams.”

“He couldn’t wait to propose,” the designer told People. “He was so excited to have found the woman of his dreams.”

Attention, ladies; Zack Morris is back on the market.

Former Saved by the Bell actor Mark-Paul Gosselaar and his wife, Lisa Ann Russell, have reportedly separated after 14 years of marriage. While no reason for the split was given, a rep for the couple says that Gosselaar, 36, and Russell “remain focused on their family and are jointly committed to their children,” son Michael Charles, 6, and daughter Ava Lorenn, 4.

No divorce is currently in the works, and a source says that the couples’ “focus is working on their relationship.”

Hopefully Mark-Paul won’t have to crash on Dustin “Screech” Diamond‘s couch in the meantime. Word is the guy can barely keep a roof over his own head.

The cast of our favorite cult ’90s show Saved By The Bell is together again on the cover of the new People magazine.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Mario Lopez, Lark Voorhies, Elizabeth Berkley and Tiffani Thiessen discuss their memories from the show that made them famous.

The cover promises, “The hookups, the meltdowns, the memories: The cast reveals what was really going on… and what they think of each other now.”

But where’s Screech (Dustin Diamond)? Perhaps still a little embarassed by that sex tape? Or his stint on Celeb Fit Club?

Anyways, we can’t wait to read it, and hopefully this means that a reunion is a go!

Time out! This may be possibly one of the greatest things Jimmy Fallon has ever done. 

Mark-Paul Gosselaar, aka Zack Morris, star of the cult ’90s show Saved By the Bell, stopped by the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon set in full character last night. It looks like he hasn’t aged a day!

He sported his original blond hairdo, white hightops and acid-washed jeans. He even remembered to bring his massive cell phone—remember how cool he thought that was? 

Jimmy and Mark-Paul discussed a possible SBTB reunion (Elizabeth Berkley/Jessie Spano is in!), his divorce from Kelly Kapowski, and what he’s been up to since the show has been off the air. 

Did we mention he performed “Friends Forever” with his band Zack Attack and The Roots?

Gosselaar’s appearance is already causing waves of excitement in the celebrity community. On her official Web site, Khloe Kardashian raves, “Ahhhh the good old days of television at its best.  They don’t make ‘em like this anymore!”
