“Confidence, sense of humor, fun. Just being themselves,” Prinsloo told Celebuzz at the celebration of the Victoria’s Secret 2013 What Is Sexy? List in Los Angeles, Calif. May 14.

Newly-single Prinsloo, who reportedly split from hunky Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine after 10 months of dating bliss, also likes to see that fun side in the same sex. One gal Prinsloo, 24, was exited to see make this year’s famous list is Jennifer Lawrence, who takes home the title of Sexiest Sense of Humor.

“I love that girl. I want to be best friends with her!” Prinsloo gushed.

The dog days of summer just got a bit more musical.

Maroon 5 will hit the road with fellow pop-rocker Kelly Clarkson for the 2013 Honda Civic Tour, which will see the Grammy-winning band taking their sound al fresco.

“I think the live outdoor kind of summer vibe is always different than the indoor arena tour because there’s less emphasis on production and more on live music,” frontman Adam Levine said in an interview, according to the Associated Press. “It’s kind of the purist form of a tour ’cause there’s not too many bells and whistles.”

The 31-date amphitheater tour will kick off Aug. 1 in St. Louis, La., and wrap Oct. 5 in San Diego, Calif.

“It’s going to be so much fun. We’re always trying to up the ante and do even better,” Levine said in a video announcing the tour for his fivesome, which also includes Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden, James Valentine, and Matt Flynn. “We’re also so excited to bring Kelly Clarkson out with us. We love her so much. She’s an amazing talent. It’s just going to be a really musical summer, with some really great people on this tour.”

Along with Clarkson and the quintet, the concerts will include some musical styling from Rozzi Crane, the first artist to sign to Levine’s record label, 222 Records, singer and keyboardist PJ Morton, and   Tony Lucca, who was a Team Adam season-two runner-up on The Voice.

Maroon 5 is still soaring off the success of Overexposed, their fourth album that has achieved certified platinum status. Following “Payphone” and “One More Time” topping the Billboard Hot 1, “Daylight” landed the group it’s third No. 1 single off of its latest released. The chart-topping tune also bumped up the band’s record for most No. 1s — now six — by a group in the chart’s 20-year history.

“It’s so amazing to have an album people connect with and embrace,” Levine continued in the interview. “It’s a dream come true. It’s hard to believe to have lighting strike twice and three times and four times. We’re having a moment. A good moment.”

And they are not slowing down anytime soon. Maroon 5 is working are “just getting started” on another album, announced Levine, who is still serving as a coach on NBC’s hit singing competition, The Voice. “We’ve got some great songs in the can.”

Since it’s 1981 inception, MTV has been featuring music videos by the artists of our generation — from Michael Jackson to Rihanna.

However, there have been occasions when the 24-hour music channel has been forced to step in and edit, censor — and sometimes even ban — some musicians’ work.

Did you know the network has taken liberty to change some videos, be it because of racy material or highly suggestive lyrics?

Celebuzz has compiled the top ten videos that were either banned or censored by MTV – and we have the reasons why.

1. “Guilty Conscience” by Eminem. The rapper’s lyrics were censored by MTV and the final scene in the video – where a murder takes place – was taken out entirely by the music network.

2. “How We Do (Party)” by Rita Ora. MTV changed some of the words to her hit single to make them more audience-friendly.

3. “This Love” by Maroon 5. The band’s video wasn’t altered much, but MTV had the words “coming” and “sinking” edited out to ensure the material was appropriate.

4. “They Don’t Care About Us” by Michael Jackson. Jackson was furious with MTV after they changed the words to the bridge of his famous song.

5. “Alejandro” by Lady Gaga. While the video wasn’t completely banned, MTV relegated it to air only during the midnight hours on one of their sister stations.

6. “S&M” by Rihanna. Due to the sexually suggestive content in the video, MTV first restricted the video’s air time and later banned it altogether.

7. “T.G.I.F.” by Katy Perry. While the video’s content remained untouched, the term “ménage à trois” was entirely cut out of the song.

8. “Hip Hop is Dead” by Nas. MTV tweaked the lyrics to make them less violence-heavy and graphic for its viewers.

9. “Paper Planes” by M.I.A. The sounds of guns shooting in the chorus were replaced by cash register noises in order to remove any references to murder.

10. “Justify My Love” by Madonna. The video featured featured sadomasochism, voyeurism and bisexuality. It was pulled from the air.

Adam Levine did what he does best during his opening monologue on Saturday Night Live: take his shirt off.

The first-time host quickly found himself on the other side of a mock setup of The Voice, along with judges Andy Samberg, Cameron Diaz and Jerry Seinfeld.

“Like all successful singers, I knew it would only be a matter of time before I would overreach and try acting. Also, I’ve been a coach on The Voice for the last two years. So tonight I just hope that you won’t judge me too harshly,” said Levine, in a slick suit.

“Fat chance Levine,” Samberg fired back, in his bathrobe best.

Diaz then voiced her reasons for why she’s the best choice for a comedy coach.

“I’ve hosted before. So trust me. The first thing you should do as host . . . is take off your shirt. Just take it off,” she said.

While the shirtless display was one of the highlights of the night, perhaps the biggest screams and cheers went to the return of SNL’s first digital short since Samberg’s departure last season.

Levine, along with Samberg’s Lonely Island BFFs Akiva Schaffer and Jorma Taccone, celebrate all things “YOLO” in a wonderfully orchestrated three minutes. (Musical guest Kendrick Lamar also drops a couple verses).

SNL also hosted a battleground for Levine’s band Maroon 5 and Train.

“Alright Train, fan out. Make yourselves at home,” Taran Killam says as Pat Monahan.

“Oh, hello Train. What do you think you’re doing here?” Levine asks.

“Uh, I think it’s a free country, soul sister,” Killam says.

Jason Mraz (played by Jason Sudeikis) and John Mayer (Bill Hader) later join in on the fun.

Catfish also made its way to the SNL lineup, with Levine posing as the MTV series’ host Nev Schulman. (Video below).

Justin Bieber will serve as host and musical guest on the Feb. 9 episode.

2012 was yet another year ruled by Adele.

No only was she crowned Billboard’s top artist of the year, the British pop powerhouse’s Grammy-winning album, 21, ranked as iTunes’ top-selling record of 2012.

Almost two years after it was released, Adele’s sophomore effort nabbed another accolade last month, as it passed the 10 million in American sales. Ever fittingly, that established 21 as the 21st album to achieve that milestone in the history of Nielsen SoundScan.

Adele — who became the first artist to earn iTunes’ top-selling album, single and artist in a single year in 2011 — beat out country-pop crooner Taylor Swift‘s Red, which earned the second-highest debut sale week for a female artist after selling 1.2 million copies in its first week in U.S.

Mumford & Sons nabbed two spots on the top 10. The British indie folk band hit high sales with their second studio album, Babel, which landed at No. 3 after premiering at No. 1 on U.K. and U.S. charts in September. But their 2009 record, Sigh No More, continued to bring in big bucks in 2012, coming in as iTunes’ sixth-highest selling album for the year.

Jeremy Renner crooned his way through the opening monologue of Saturday Night Live this week.

The first time host, who showed off his singing chops by singing “theme songs” for movies he’s starred in, told audience members that there’s another side of him fans may not know about.

“For example, you might not know that I play a little piano, and my dream actually is to write and perform theme songs for one of my movies,” the 41-year-old said.

“I’ve actually written songs for every movie that I’ve done, however they’ve never used any of them. It’s too bad because I think they’re pretty good,” he said, before sitting down at a piano.

Renner went on to sing songs for The Avengers, Mission: Impossible and The Bourne Legacy.

“I’ve been running around / trying to take down the CIA / they won’t leave me alone / I’m not from Treadstone / need to get away / you know I’m gonna shoot somebody / you know I’m gonna shoot somebody,” Renner belted on stage, to the tune of “Use Somebody” by Kings of Leon.

Adam Levine, who served as musical guest with his band Maroon 5, later appeared alongside Renner, in a sketch that paid tribute to the actor’s action movies.

“The Californians” returned with a new episode, featuring Renner in a floral shirt.

Renner also put on his Hawkeye uniform on Saturday night for a sketch on The Avengers. Appearing on stage with Jason Sudeikis as Iron Man and other heroes, Hawkeye gives up on the fight after he runs out of arrows.

“So I guess I’m done, right? I’ll be in the car,” he tells his team.

“Come on Hunger Games. What are you doing? Just pull arrows out of the aliens you shot, Katniss,” Iron Man fires back.

Maroon 5 treated audiences to their hit “One More Night” and their new single, “Daylight.”

Jamie Foxx will host the Dec. 8 episode of SNL, with music from Ne-yo.

Adam Levine likes speaks his mind and it seems he doesn’t care if he offends anyone.

The 33-year-old Maroon 5 frontman — who has been recently linked to Victoria’s Secret model Behati Prinsloo — sat down with Details, giving a candid look into his numerous Hollywood hookups and his obsession with the opposite sex. “There are two kinds of men,” he explained, in the interview. “There are men who are f**king misogynist pigs and then there are men who really love women, who think they’re the most amazing people in the world. And that’s me. Maybe the reason I was promiscuous and wanted to sleep with a lot of them, is that I love them so much.”

Back in August 2011, Levine proved he’s extremely comfortable in his own skin. Posing for several shirtless pics in Out magazine, The Voice mentor revealed he likes letting it all hang out.

“I just love being as naked as possible all the time,” he says. “It feels really natural to me.”

“I’m extremely comfortable in my sexuality, so I can think, Oh, that’s a good-looking dude. Acknowledging that someone’s attractive and wanting to f*** a dude are two different things.”

The 2011 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show will air on Nov. 29, and will feature performances by Kanye West and Maroon 5.

Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera  have joined forces for the sexy summer single “Moves Like Jagger,” and we have to admit, we are loving this collaboration. The two, who are both judges on NBC’s hit reality show competition The Voice, lended their voices to a hot new track. And finally we have the music video! 

In the video, Jagger impersonators show off their best dance moves, while old video footage of Mick Jagger himself flashes in the background. Season 2 of The Voice won’t return until February 5, 2012 following the Super Bowl. The vocal competition will be hosted again by Carson Daly and features the four original coaches: Christina, Adam, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton.

“I’m hellbent on making sure this album is the real me that I’ve always wanted to have a chance to be, that unfortunately with my last label I wasn’t able to do. I want these songs to move people and that mean something to me — and hopefully mean something to those who listen to the album. It will have a soulful vibe but it’ll still be more pop genre than R&B,” he said, adding that a possible Dia Frampton collaboration could be in their future. We’re keeping our fingers crossed!

Looking for a new group of rockin’ boys to gush over? Look no further than Action Item, a new pop rock band that is quickly becoming one of most squealed-over bands of the young adult set. Having opened for the likes of Allstar Weekend, Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, this New Jersey-based band has already amassed an impressively loyal following on the internet. Celebuzz got a chance to chat with Brian Cag, the lead singer of Action Item, about what it’s like to open for Bieber and what he likes the most about his fans.

You guys are gearing up for a big summer tour with Allstar Weekend – are you excited to be touring with them?
That actually starts next week in Vermont. We’ve toured with them a few times before and we’re like best friends with the dudes. We hang out from time to time.

Since you are already friends with the band does that mean there won’t be any surprises or clashes on tour?
There might be some pranks, because we have been known to do some pranks with them. Aside from that, no.

What kind of pranks have you pulled on them?
On the last show of the first tour, I think it was in Reno, we shaving-creamed them and threw tons of stuff at them during a live set and they got us back pretty bad too. We’ve been having this ongoing prank war with them, so I’m pretty sure this tour is going to take it to a completely different level.

You guys opened for another notorious prankster, Justin Bieber. What was it like opening up for such a popular artist? Was it difficult?
No, his fans are very receptive and open. I think that age demographic and those types of fans are great because they are open to new music and they’re not going to really judge you for little dumb things, like the way you look or the sound of your music. If you’re honest with your music I think you’re going to do great with them.

Did you guys ever pull any pranks on Justin?
We didn’t really know Justin at the time and we weren’t really friends with him, so I don’t think it was cool yet to do anything. But maybe the next show we do we can spice it up and ruin his live set a little bit.

What’s been the best show you’ve played with Action Item?
I think the best show we’ve had was the show with Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez. We opened for 18,000 people. It was a sold out arena. It was Nassau Coliseum in New York and that’s kind of like a milestone for us. Growing up around there, we would drive by the stadium and it’s every kid’s dream to one day play that and we did. That was at the start of our band too. Playing to 18,000 fans as a new band is crazy.

Tell us a little bit about the 100 Days of Summer YouTube campaign you guys are doing right now.
All summer throughout every single tour we’re doing this YouTube thing where we post a video every single day for 100 days. It’s like you are on tour with us without the driving and all of the tedious work. You’ll get to see the fun side of touring and the not-so-fun side of touring…well, actually there’s no real not-so-fun side of touring. It’s all pretty awesome! But all of the hard work getting ready for interviews, doing press in the morning. You’ll be spending 100 days with us as if you’re on tour with us.

What’s it like going on tour with your band?
Touring does have some misconceptions. People think that it’s all fun and games and you just show up and play the show. Everyday you have to wake up in a different hotel. It’s a blessing for us because we get to travel across the country and meet new fans and great people all around. It’s a blessing more than anything. We don’t consider it work because it’s what we love to do.

Do you have any special rituals you do when you’re on tour?
Personally, I love to stretch and get the blood flowing. I do warm-ups an hour prior to a performance. I’ll start talking a lot and singing and getting my whole voice going. And I know the guys really like to mellow out and focus and not talk to too many people prior to the actual event.

Action Item has a huge Twitter, Facebook and YouTube presence – do you think it’s important to maintain a social media presence when you’re a new band?
Yes, social media above all I think is one of the most important things to keep up with. Our fans are the most important people to us. It’s important for us to stay connected at all times and have a good foundation for our fan base and stay connected in general. Social media enables that when we’re all in New Jersey and our fans are all across the country, in Canada and even in some other countries. It enables us to stay close with them.

What are these “Summer Living Room Shows” that you guys are launching this summer?
We like to come to our fans’ houses and play for them and their friends and they can invite whoever they want. Basically, our fans just hire us and we come to their house and hang out with them and their family. We make it really intimate. It’s more of like a hangout session for our fans to get to know us better in person. We’re going to have more than 3. They’re all just private shows for the fans and general public.
So you guys have played living rooms and sold out stadiums – which do you prefer?
I think it’s good to have a combination of both. Playing Nassau Coliseum and in someone’s living room is completely different. I like the personal aspect of living room shows and smaller venues to really connect with our fans. I think connecting is the biggest thing for us.

What are your musical influences?
I personally love Maroon 5. Adam Levine is my favorite singer of all-time.We also like bands like The Script, Coldplay, One Republic…we’re really huge fans of and we really admire them and look up to the great music. We love great pop music in general. We’re a pop band and we’re not trying to do anything too crazy, but we just love pop music.

So you like Adam Levine, have you been watching The Voice?
Yeah. I’m Team Adam all the way!

Are there any bands that you’d love to play with or celebrities you’s like to meet?
Definitely Adam Levine, for one. Just to collab with him and meet with him would be amazing. Miley Cyrus, because she’s interesting. I would love to meet with her and have a full conversation with her. [Laughs]

You guys are a New Jersey band and New Jersey is is taking over everything right now with Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, etc.. Do you watch any of the shows?
I don’t really. I have seen the first season of Jersey Shore, but haven’t kept up to much with it. I have seen it here and there. As far as the Real Housewives of New Jersey, I’m not really a fan of that.

Katy Perry and Maroon 5 were front and center on both coasts last night, headlining huge blowout concerts to launch Microsoft’s highly-anticipated Windows Phone.

Candace Abbot: It was my first night out with my Samsung Windows Phone. After a long Monday and some serious anticipation, “we” (me and my phone!) made our way to the Maroon 5 concert at the legendary Fillmore in San Francisco. The verdict? Sheer perfection.

From the moment I arrived I could feel the electric energy, not to mention the magnitude of the venue as images of greats like Janis Joplin and Miles Davis stared back at me. The crowd was trickling in (in true “me” fashion I arrived early so to scope out the scene) and the night kicked off with a funky old-meets-news-school set from a resident DJ, then moved into with a few announcements, tee shirt tosses and crowd amping from local radio personalities, Fernando and Greg. Needless to say, the concert-goers were pumped for Adam and the rest of the crew.

I grabbed my phone just as Maroon 5 made their way to the stage and managed to score some stellar footage of the flashing lights and Adam belting out the lyrics to their latest “I Am in Misery.” And although a pair of sky-high platforms were wrecking havoc on my standing ability, I dear couldn’t miss a beat. As the band moved into their next song–”Harder to Breathe”–I was immediately transported back to my college days (in San Francisco) when Maroon 5 opened for Dave Matthews at the Filmore in 2002. All I could think of (besides how captivating Mr. Levine is with his sleeves and white tee) was how awesome it’ll be to reminisce with my college buddies, thanks to these photos.

The band played a spectacular show featuring classics from their Songs About Jane album, guitar solos and tunes from their latest; they even stopped to pay homage to Al Green with a killer version of “Let’s Stay Together.” The crowd was all about it. My Windows 7 Phone and I loved it too. It’s our song, because after being able to capture last night’s event, we’ll definitely be staying together.

Microsoft is joining the smart phone revolution with the release of the highly anticipated Windows Phone — and they’re pulling out all the stops to celebrate.

In honor of the launch, Microsoft will be throwing concerts on both coasts with Katy Perry in New York and Maroon 5 in San Francisco next Monday, November 8.

In addition to the rockin’ shows, Friday Night Lights star Minka Kelly and skateboarding pro Rob Dyrdek will venture cross country to see if the design of the Windows phone can help them with their smart phone etiquette. And don’t worry, a camera crew will be there to catch their every move.

Rebound alert!

After news of her split with boyfriend of a year, model Paul Sculfor, it was only a matter of time before Cameron Diaz was linked to a hot new boy toy. The actress was spotted dining at Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont with Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine on Saturday.

The couple both wore white shirts and jeans and, according to the Daily Mail, “spent more than an hour exchanging flirty glances and conversation over a meal.”

X17 is reporting that the two were in no way trying to keep their new relationship on the downlow: “Cameron was unusually happy and she almost WANTED to be seen with Adam. They were drawing attention to themselves in the hotel, trying to get people to look at them.”

Levine, like John Mayer, is notorious for his dating record, which includes Jessica Simpson, Natalie Portman, Paris Hilton, Maria Sharapova and Kirsten Dunst.

Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson, knowing that it takes a village of stars, attended the Declare Yourself: A New Birth of Citizenship event at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. Sunday night.

Declare Yourself is the youth voter initiative which helped get the 18-plus set across the country into the voting booths last November.  The organization continues to help inspire young people to remain civic-minded.

Joining the newly reunited Lohan, 22, and Ronson, 31, (they were seen with their arms around each other on the red carpet) were Heroes‘ cheerleader Hayden Panettiere, Jamie Foxx, Usher and comedian Sarah Silverman.

The fete was hosted by an Honor-less Jessica Alba. Maroon 5 and John Legend handled the entertainment (accompanied by Ronson spinning records while Fornarina model Lohan allegedly texted behind her in the DJ booth).

Alba, 27, was the spokesface of Declare Yourself (with assistance from Panettiere), appearing in a series of provocative PSAs last year.

Ronson sported a nifty new faux-hawk. Either that or she was able to turn a case of bedhead to her advantage.

“I believe that every organization that was trying to get people to vote and get people to register that never had before, whether it was the youth, whether it was just new voters, people who didn’t believe in the system, this campaign and all the other campaigns—they believe now,” Alba said, according to the LA Times. “They made a difference.”

Alba’s hubby Cash Warren noted that daughter Honor had to be left at home, but she is “chubby and delicious.”

Please don’t eat your baby, Cash. It might make Jessica a tad grouchy.
