The Keeping Up With the Kardashians mom cleared up rumors about her famous family, starting with the reports that her daughter Khloe Kardashian, 27, is not her late husband Rob Kardashian‘s biological daughter.

Kris calls the claims “ridiculous,” but adds that she wants Khloe to take a DNA test.

“I felt like it would put her mind at rest,” Kris explains to Matt.

The “momager”, 56, says of the constant rumors surrounding her daughters, “The girls sell magazines … it’s easy fodder. So the girls and I work together every single day, and we have an amazing relationship and … I know when to take that (manager) hat off and when to put it on. We have a nice relationship.”

As for the relationship gossip surrounding her dauther Kim, 31, and rapper Kanye West, Kris plays coy, saying,

“I stopped commenting about the details in my kids’ friendships and relationships, because I get nothing but in trouble. He’s great and she seems happy.”

The 36-year-old mother of 14 sat down with TODAY show anchor Matt Lauer on Thursday morning to defend her controversial decision to start accepting food stamps. 

“I feel ashamed, but who cares how I feel. It’s 100 percent about my children,” Nadya said.

“I still am working as hard as I possibly can to support them I made that call [to go on public assistance] reluctantly.”

She insisted that the welfare was only temporary, which led Matt to ask whether she’d consider pornography in a bid to get off the assistance. Her answer: after the jump.

“I won’t touch other human flesh,” the Octomom told Laurer.

“The only flesh I’m touching is my own. I would never, never accept anything. I will not lose my grip of my deeply indoctrinated morals and values.”

That’s inevitably surprising to some, considering the octuplet mother posed nearly nude for UK magazine Closer recently. 

She added, “Every choice we parents make is going to significantly affect our children for the rest of our lives. It’s going to haunt them forever. I have to be the ultimate positive role model.’’

The American Idol and E! News host skirted around the question a bit, but did admit that he will be joining the NBC family. When does he start? Ryan, 37, will be reporting from the London Olympics this year alongside Matt and the network’s other reporters.

Matt, 54, didn’t let the TV personality get off that easy, asking him again if he’s had discussions specifically about joining the TODAY show program. “I want names,” he joked Ryan squirmed a bit, answered back jokingly:

“Oh, they didn’t tell you? … They were mostly about filling in to do weather.” He continued, ”I don’t know. … I see you doing this for as long as you want to,” Ryan added that he expects Matt to be on TODAY for years to come, and then turned the question around asking him when he planned on leaving. Then it was Matt’s turn to play coy.

The two assured audiences that there is “no tension” between them and that they are “friendly” towards one another.

In promotion of his new book Your Passport to Success, Stedman sat down with TODAY show’s Matt Lauer and gushed over his gal, calling her “special” and referring to her as the “greatest” person. 

“I’m very fortunate to be able to have that opportunity and to learn so much from her. What I’ve learned from her throughout the years is that she’s a thinker. She understands the process of success.”

He adds, “So it’s nice to have been around someone for all these years.”

Matt touched on Oprah leaving her show to start her own network OWN that has not done as well as expected. Stedman responded, “Well, first year should be tough. If you’ve been working on a show for 25 years, you’ve been number one and you’re starting off with the first year in developing OWN, it should be tough. You have to reorganize. … Every year it gets better and better and better and better. That’s part of the process.”

However, Peter is calling out his ex. He reacted to TODAY on Wednesday after seeing Christie’s interview, saying, “The entire content of her interview was a lie where she claims that I am harassing and bullying her on a daily basis.”

Showing no sympathy to the model and her “crocodile tears,” Peter explained that his ex  is “on a campaign to smear me. There is no Peter Cook press machine. I have no interest in the press. I’m not a celebrity. You don’t hear about Peter Cook until Christie Brinkley dredges something up from the past to make herself relevant in the media again.”

Like Christie, Peter claimed that he too wanted this feud to be over. “I want peace. I want peace for my family. I want peace for myself. I want to be able to do my job, see my kids and live without the Christie Brinkley shadow over me. That’s all I ask.”

Getting all choked up talking about her messy and very public divorce, Christie addressed the four year battle she’s been having with Peter, who’s been very outspoken about the breakup. “I have turned the other cheek,” she told Lauer of her split from her husband of 12 years. “There’s not one quote from me, anywhere. This is the first time I’ve ever been on a show (to talk about the split).”

Brinkley added of the split, “I have never taken part in name calling. The only thing I’ve ever said … at the end of that (second) trial I said as a public service, ‘Google divorcing a narcissist.’ … I’m not alone. I’ve gotten hundreds of letters from women that are going through this. It’s not easy.” 

Towards the end of the interview, Christie broke down to tears when talking about how she wants him to leave her alone and respect her privacy. “He continues to contact me,” she said, fighting back tears. “I just want peace. And every time I have any joy or any kind of success in anything, he has to try to destroy it.”

The interview never got back to her role in Chicago to which Lauer apologized and told the model that he’d have her back to discuss.

It was the “Glib” dig heard round the world. During a time Tom wasn’t king of the box office he went on the offensive against psychiatry… and Lauer. We think Matt more than held his own!

Matt pressed Dina on whether or not she is a party mom, a stage mom, and how many times Lindsay has really been in rehab. 

Kanye West:

Matt asked Kanye about his infamous line “George Bush doesn’t care about black people.” Needless to say, Kanye wasn’t pleased with how it went down. 

Jennifer Lopez:

After pressing about info regarding Jennifer and Marc Anthony’s divorce, it seems Jen thought Matt went too far.

So who did they get to play the wacky sisters Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice? None other than Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb — with their memorable hats. Bieber and Lauer had a good banter going back and forth for several minutes, as Lauer seemed genuinely intrigued with the 16-year-old sensation after seeing the movie for himself. After Lauer told Bieber how interesting the film was, Justin said that his main goal with having cameras document his every move was to “just show what I’ve been going through the last two years and how much it really takes out of you … It’s just been so much fun getting to live out my dreams.”

Bieber says that living out his dreams does indeed have its downsides, as he no longer has much of a private life. He told Lauer:

I make sure I have at least one day off a week… to either rest or hang out with my friends or do something for me. The rest of the week is all jam packed … I have to have at least one day. It’s hard because I’m away from my friends and my family … I have a two-year-old sister and a one-year-old brother. It’s hard being away from them as well.

Things then went back to lighter topics, as Bieber touted that the thing he likes most about Never Say Never is that it’s in 3-D, prompting him to put on a pair of purple shades (that he later gave away to a fan). Once he was glassed-up, Bieber joked that Matt Lauer’s dimples were “amazing!”

The “Today” show anchor sat down recently with Kim is year for a Thanksgiving Special. Last year, Matt Lauer sat down with Susan Boyle, Chelsey “Sulley” Sullenberger, and Octomom Nadya Sulemen on the show, but it’s Kim’s turn this year.

Kim and Matt filmed the special in late October and Kim took to her blog to say,

This week we filmed an interview with Matt Lauer for his Thanksgiving Special. It’s a huge honor to be on his show! I hope you guys will all tune in to watch on Thanksgiving day!!

Kanye took to Twitter on Wednesday to vent his frustrations with Lauer’s interview with George W. Bush. In the interview, Kanye’s comments about Bush’s handling of Hurricane Katrina came up, and Today‘s handling of the situation set the rapper off. He’s so unhappy that he unleashed 17 Tweets in a single hour about it, saying he feels “very used very tortured very forced very misunderstood.”

Bullock didn’t dish about ex Jesse James (or his apparent new girlfriend Kat Von D,) with NBC’s Matt Lauer, instead focusing on her son Louis, whose adoption was recently finalized.

“As sterile as the room seemed, it felt so rich,” Bullock said of the formal completion of her adoption. “I did not circumvent. I wanted to do everything exactly the same way everyone else did. It was nice to have someone say, ‘I think you’re a fit parent.’”

Sandra calls little Louis, who was born in New Orleans, her “little Cajun cookie” who loves to dance and is generally “extraordinary.”

As for motherhood at 46, Sandra says: “No one understands the shift in prior about having a child in your life until you have a child in your life… It naturally shifted the day I met him. Now Louie’s got the stage.”
