“Finally our baby arrives. Stephen nearly passed out, Phoenix screamed. I laughed so hard the baby popped out!!! She is just sooo amazing!!”

Mel and husband Stephen Belafonte already have three children between them, but this is the couple’s first child together. Mel has daughters Phoenix, 12, and Angel, 4, while Belafonte has a daughter Giselle, 6.

Mel’s rep later released a statement to UK’s Mirror, confirming the happy news, adding that “both mum and baby are happy, healthy and doing well.”

Earlier this week, Mel complained that she had been trying everything to kick start labor, which was overdue.

“The baby will come when it’s good and ready,so for now working as usual to keep my mind off being over due!!”

Of course, she was part of a growing trend in Hollywood this summer, showing off her growing baby bump while wearing a teeny bikini. Mel was all smiles back in July, when she was spotted lounging by a hotel pool in Los Angeles. Check out the pics below.

The 30-year-old reality star, who is set to tie the knot with Kris Humphries very soon, was seen heading into the baby shower for former Spice Girl Mel B‘s baby shower on Sunday afternoon.

Looking fab, as per usual, Kim was showing some leg in printed shorts and kept things neutral with a nude colored top and blazer.

Kim tweeted about the day’s festivities, writing:

“Just left @OfficialMelB’s baby shower! She looks radiant!!! I’m so happy for them! What a fun day!”

While we’re sure Kim’s nuptials will be an extravagant affair, we bet when the day comes for her baby shower, it will be just as over the top!

Mel B, who is about eight months along, is expecting her third child (her oldest daughter Phoenix Chi, 12, is from a previous marriage and she also has a 4-year-old daughter Angel, from her relationship with Eddie Murphy).

The 36-year-old TV personality is just over 8-months pregnant and apparently loving the look. She’s absolutely growing and glowing, and following one of the latest Hollywood trends!

Mel, who’s still in tip-top shape, was seen out and about at her resort in Park City, clad in a swimsuit. For the record, the high temperature yesterday in Park City was 31 degrees. Here’s hoping she was headed for the hot tub!

The Mirror reports that the former Spice Girls singer is rumored to be preparing to divorce her husband of three years, film producer Stephen Belafonte.

According to anonymous sources, the two have had a “rollercoaster romance” and Stephen told reporters that there were “problems” in the marriage and that he doesn’t “know what’s happening.”

Mel and Stephen married in 2007 in Las Vegas and renewed their vows in Egypt on November 2008. Mel began dating Stephen shortly after she gave birth to her child with actor Eddie Murphy. Mel and Eddie’s lovechild was the subject of tabloid fodder after Eddie claimed that the baby wasn’t his, but DNA testing proved that Angel Iris Brown was indeed Murphy’s child.

Mel and Stephen didn’t show any signs of trouble when they were spotted walking the red carpet together at the Creative Arts Emmys last week. The two are also starring together in a reality show for the Style network called Mel B: It’s a Scary World. Watch a clip from the show below.

The genius plan? Ginger Spice aka Geri Halliwell wants to design a a rags-to-riches two hour “pop extravaganza,” featuring five new actresses to play the famous ladies on stage!

A source told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper:

“The project is Geri’s baby really but all the girls are backing it. The idea is for five relatively unknown actresses to take the parts and hopefully the girls will each have a say in who is cast.”

According to the report, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm and Victoria Beckham are all on board to be involved in the project as well, including the casting process.

Whoever lands the five parts has a lot to live up to, to say the least!

First, former Girls Next Door girlfriend Holly Madison joined the cast of the Vegas burlesque show Peepshow at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Now, former Danity Kane singer Aubrey O’Day is set to replace Melanie Brown in the sexy show.

Her role? Peep Diva, the show’s mistress of ceremonies.

Scott Zeiger, co-CEO of Base Entertainment, said in a statement: “Aubrey is a talented and extremely gifted performer with Broadway, television and recording credits. Aubrey is one of the sexiest entertainers in the industry today and we are thrilled to welcome her to the ‘Peepshow’ cast.”

Aubrey is rumored to be turning her new adventure into a reality show!

Oh, boy, we just can’t wait!

The new ads are appropriate tie-ins for Mel’s newest venture; the songbird-turned-scanties shiller set to take a starring role in a new burlesque show in Las Vegas, called Peep.

“Burlesque is all about embracing and celebrating your body. The shoot was fantastic … a girl’s gotta have great lingerie, but it’s also all about the wink and the tease that goes with it!,” the mother of two exclaimed, according to the Sun.

And Mel B. is just fine with showing off her underwear.

Good for you, Ms. Brown. You know what people want. What they really, really want.

Victoria and husband David Beckham have reportedly declined the invite. Victoria’s very busy. It’s unknown whether the rest of the Spices—Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and pregnant the Mel C—will be there.

Mel B. plans to fly in friends, family and acquaintances (including celebs she allegedly has barely met) to Hurghada for an “Egyptian”-style ceremony.

Just don’t wear this dress, Mel.

OK! magazine is said to be paying the couple $300,000 for rights to the wedding.

That should buy plenty of Jordan Almonds. And lots of security just in case their loony-tune Heathrow Airport stalker shows up.

She looks sort of like she missed the audition to play Lando Calrissian‘s assistant in The Empire Strikes Back in the ’80s.

At least she probably had on clean underwear.

Mel was recently involved in a rather frightening incident at Heathrow Airport in which an angry man threatened to stab her husband Stephen Belafonte.

Perhaps the incident had her so freaked out that she forgot to consult a mirror before she left the house?

Though, she has acknowledged she has no problem with showing off the girls.

The former Spice Girl was being honored for her musical accomplishments and, presumably, her willingness to consider posing for Playboy and otherwise look great half-naked.

But the event wasn’t all glamour; in order to be immortalized, Brown had to get her hands covered in a slimy substance.

Sigh; such is the fate of so many female show-biz aspirants.

Besides, she’s not the only former Spice Girl who’s had to get goopy—and occasionally poopy—lately.

A “crazed” man approached and accosted a ring of photographers snapping Playboy rejector Mel and her family as they exited the airport.

When Belafonte stepped in, the intruder allegedly screamed “I’ll get a knife and stab you.” The loon then apparently “scuffled” with Dancing with the Stars vet Mel B.’s husband.

One of the photographers was also reportedly physically assaulted.

The family re-entered the airport to call security, and London police arrested the man.

The Daily Mail reports that Mel was in “tears” after the incident. But TMZ has tape showing her laughing during the attack.

She is the one they called “Scary Spice”, right?

Uh, well, not after lunch, Mel. Besides, folks are probably more interested in the progress of that classy ode to Eddie Murphy you were supposedly working on a few months ago?

Unlike that prude Rihanna—who could really use the money—the former Spice Girl is considering posing in the buff for Playboy, according to the Sun.

“I was offered Playboy, and I did turn them down, but that’s not to say I wouldn’t consider it in the future,” Brown revealed. “I have no problems walking around the house naked.”

Good for you, Mel! There aren’t enough celebrities willing to fully embrace their nakedness these days. And who knows? Perhaps you’ll inspire your former bandmate Victoria Beckham to follow suit.
