Prior to his death in June of 2009, MJ was renting the sprawling mansion tucked away in the canyons of Los Angeles. The lavish 17,171 square foot home has seven bedrooms, thirteen bathrooms,  seven garages and twelve fireplaces. So, who’s reportedly going to pony up the $23 million asking price?

We’ll give you a clue: It’s also a musician.

Scratching your head? He’s from the UK.

The Answer: Robbie Williams!  

The British pop star is reportedly set to buy the amazing home. He was even spotted pulling up to the estate in his Range Rover. Robbie may be trading up — he currently owns a Beverly Hills mansion he paid $18 million for in 2008. 

Like the memorable episodes of the past based around massive pop stars (the Britney Spears and Lady Gaga eps clearly stand out), the Michael Jackson episode was not just a home run on the music front, but also in the show’s plotline.

But first … the music.

The show opened with a crazy good performance of “Wanna Be Startin’ Something,” led by a bowtie-clad Darren Criss who busted out some we-didn’t-know-he-had-it-in-him dance moves for the number. Rachel also belted out “I Just Can’t Stop Loving You,” as a bit of a musical answer to Finn’s proposal, while “Smooth Criminal” and “Black & White” also made the list.

Still, it’s the visually perfect rendition of “Scream” by Kevin McHale and Harry Shum Jr. (at the top of this article) that made us want to put on a white-studded glove and dance to MJ albums.

The actor revealed some juicy details about the highly anticipated Michael Jackson episode that airs tonight (Jan. 31) at 8pm ET on FOX.

What kind of crazy clothes did Chris have to wear to correctly portray the King of Pop?

“Leather yes. I wore a leather jumpsuit the entire episode and I am still having a rough time with it.”  Chris told Jay.

 “The book is about a brother and sister, they are twins and they inherit a magical storybook from their grandmother and they travel into the fairytale book, it is a young adult novel.”

During a live performance on BBC, Florence and the Machine paid tribute to Drake with a rendition of  “Take Care.” Florence added her signature ethereal vocals to her version, which almost left fans of Flo and Drizzy wishing the duo would team up for a collaboration.

From one legend to another. Prince‘s current tour setlist consists of a short cover of Michael Jackson‘s 1979 hit, “Don’t Stop Til’ You Get Enough.” Looks like the king of funk is still at the top of his game!

The jury of seven men and five women deliberated for less than nine hours. They returned with a guilty verdict. All twelve confirmed that they were unanimous in their decision.

A wild scene played out at the courthouse as fans, protesters and media outlets descended upon downtown Los Angeles to get the final word in the case.  The increasingly excited crowd could be heard chanting “Guilty! Guilty!” outside the courthouse prior to the reading of the verdict. 

When word of the verdict came down, the screams from outside were so loud they could be heard inside the courtroom. 

The case is notable as it is one of very few criminal cases against a physician for killing a patient. Doctors are generally subject to civil cases if malpractice is suspected. 

Despite the attention to Michael Jackson’s lavish and controversial private life in his later years, rather than his music, his shocking death in 2009 caused a renewed interest in his many hits and made him the best-selling music artist that year.

It also created a word-wide interest in the circumstances surrounding his final days. Soon after, the Los Angeles County Corner declared MJ’s death a homicide. It was revealed that he died of acute propofol intoxication. Dr. Murray entered a not guilty plea to charges of involuntary manslaughter, although he did admit he had administered some drugs to help MJ sleep that evening. 

In the trial that followed, the doc’s side claimed that is was MJ who gave himself the fatal overdose.

While KP’s album Teenage Dream definitely has some catchy tunes (Celebuzz is partial to “Last Friday Night” and “E.T.”), we’re just not 100 precent sure that those songs will stand the test of time like the songs from MJ’s epic Bad album (“The Way You Make Me Feel” FTW!).

So, we took the debate to Facebook to see whether or not our readers think we’ll still be humming “California Gurls” 20 years down the road.

The 17-year-old’s concert documentary, Never Say Never, has topped Michael Jackson‘s posthumous film, This Is It, in US box office sales. Since being released six weeks ago, Justin’s film has earned $72.2 million domestically while Michael’s film earned $72.1 million since it was released in 2009.

Jackson’s This Is It still holds the record for worldwide sales, having grossed $189.1 million overseas. Bieber’s Never Say Never has only snagged $10.8 million worldwide.

Paramount Studios predicts that Never Say Never will ultimately earn $20 million internationally. Nothing to scoff at!

While Justin may not be able to top Jackson in the international markets, he has already beat out his fellow tweener pop stars in both domestic and international sales. The Jonas Brothers‘ 2009 concert documentary, Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience, grossed $19 million in the US and only $4 million internationally while Miley Cyrus‘ Hannah Montana grossed $65 million domestically and $5 million in foreign markets.

Meanwhile, Robert Pattinson has been doing some rumor control on an interview that Bieber allegedly did with UK tabloid, The People. In the interview, Bieber claims that RPattz gave him some flirting tips by telling him to encourage women to touch his hair.

“I’ve never met the guy,” Pattinson said of Bieber in an interview with MTV News. “I saw that [story] as well. I was like, ‘You’re really famous man — what are you doing?’ You don’t need to use me to make up stories!”

The posthumous album Michael has drawn fire from some fans because it was not completed in the singer’s lifetime. Others feel the unfinished works should be shared with the world to further inspire generations of singers and dancers. Sony music has a contract with the Jackson Estate to release nine more albums through 2017.

The cast (including Amber Riley, Heather Morris, Kevin McHale and Dianna Agron) were spotted filming scenes from their upcoming “Thriller” number in Long Beach, California on Sunday night. Not present: Lea Michele and Chord Overstreet but that doesn’t mean that the “Thriller” cover will be any less awesome!

The ghoulish number will reportedly air during the Glee Superbowl episode.

The video for “Hold My Hand,” the first official song from Jackson’s soon-to-be-released posthumous album, Michael (out on December 14), has hit the Internet. Though the track, which features “Locked Up” singer Akon, begins on an eerily bittersweet note, with Jackson singing, “This life don’t last forever,” the video itself is an uplifting tribute to all that Jackson held dear, according to its director, Mark Pellington:

“The video is a tribute to all that Michael stands for — life, in all its permutations… love, and its power…. A video of memory, healing and joy.”
