The gorgeous British couple were spotted leaving a restaurant hand-in-hand in New York City earlier this week. Rosie was in New York to attend the premiere of her film debut, Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, on Tuesday night.

While out and about with her buff beau, Rosie ran into Mickey Rourke who was grabbing a smoke outside a restaurant. The couple chatted with the famous actor and his entourage for a few minutes before continuing on with their day. Running into Oscar winners – just another day in the life for Rosie!

The always-fashionable Rosie looked glamorous yet casual in a knitted beige tank top and denim shorts. Rosie showed off a heart tattooed inside her wrist as she blew a kiss at some friends.

In the clip, Megan shows off her wings to Mickey Rourke who is understandably interested in seeing a hot woman with wings. Unfortunately, the emotional gaze of Mickey’s character proves to be a little bit too much for the lovely Megan.

The film will debut at the Toronto Film Festival and will hit theaters later this year.

This Southern drama is a departure from Megan’s previous roles. Earlier this year, Mickey told a reporter that this film will change how people see Megan and her ability as an actress. An endorsement by an Oscar winner isn’t too shabby!

Megan was most recently in the news for telling Elle magazine that no one takes her recent marriage to Brian Austin Green seriously.

The endlessly fascinating Barfly actor made yet another head-scratching public appearance last night, partying away for hours at London’s Cirque Du Soir night club and emerging from the place in the wee hours of the morning with a white, powder-y stain around his mouth.

Was he pulling a Lohan? Indulging in a jelly-donut binge?

The two became close during the filming of Passion Play and Megan became so smitten that she decided to get a tattoo to remember him by:

I actually got a tattoo that is sort of in honor of him. It’s on my ribs. I don’t know if it’s been photographed yet, but it’ll come out eventually, I’m sure. I just love him very much and think he’s very special.

In fact, the tattoo has been photographed already and it reads: “Those who danced were thought to be insane by those who could not hear the music.”

The phrase is a popular quote that is often attributed to the German philosopher Friedrich Nietzche (and sometimes a person named Angela Monet). Megan didn’t mention the link between the quote and Mickey.

Iron Man 2 dominated the box office over the weekend, pulling in $133.6 million in its first three days of release, making it the fifth-biggest movie opening of all time and far surpassing its 2008 predecessor, which pulled in a mere $98.6 million on its opening weekend.

Not too shabby at all, but the film did fall short of other superhero fare, such as Dark Knight (which grabbed $158.4 million on its opening weekend) and Spider-Man 3 ($151.1 million). Still not bad, considering, you know, the country is currently in the grips of economic turmoil and everything.

Rourke told MovieHole (via Starpulse) that he had recently worked with an actress that is beloved by the public for her acting talents but is actually a terrified thespian on set. From Rourke:

I worked with an actress recently who, despite having a reputation as a good actress, s**ts herself when that little red light comes on. She’s fooled everyone into thinking she’s a lot better than she is. Working with someone like that is a pain in the a**.

However, don’t think that Rourke is talking about Megan Fox. The actor gushed about her being a fabulous actress to work with who “knows how to do her homework.”

So, who is Rourke talking about? Some actresses he has worked with recently include Scarlett Johansson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Olivia Munn, Emmanuelle Chriqui, and Winona Ryder.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Robert Downey Jr. showed off their “business on top, party on the bottom” looks at the premiere. Gwyneth wore a short suit (yes, that’s right) and Robert dressed down his suit with some sneakers.

Scarlett Johansson, meanwhile, kept things glamorous and sexy in a ruffled mini dress.

According to Rourke, the project will be written and directed by John Milius, who penned Apocalypse Now and the soon-to-be-remade Cold War classic Red Dawn:

“I read his script and you know, the man is known for his tough writing. He wrote Conan and Dirty Harry and Apocalypse Now, and it’ll be interesting to see how he works behind the camera. I’m playing Genghis. John wrote as a piece told from the son and grandson’s point of view, how they saw this mythic figure from their family. You see him in flashbacks, back when he was in his mid-40s. And back then, being in your mid-40s was being REALLY old.”

Though details are still being hammered out, the Mickster reveals that the role will take him to some far-flung locations:

“It’ll be a fascinating experience, maybe shooting in parts of India, they tell me, and China. I’ve never worked in either of those countries, so that’ll be new.”

They better start preparing for him now. Because even when he’s not in character as one of history’s fiercest warlords, he can be quite the handful.

Perez Hilton posted a new commercial of Mickey in a an ad for Bavaria Non-Alcoholic Beer, referencing his love of beer, little dogs and throwing a tantrum every once in awhile.

The commercial shows him checking into a swanky hotel and throwing a fit when he finds out they have non-alcoholic beer in their mini-bar fridge.

We suppose that when you’ve had a career with its fair share of ups and downs, you learn how to laugh at yourself.

So check it — in a recent TV interview in the UK with Lizzie Cundy, she asked him for his thoughts on footballer Ashley Cole, who recently cheated on mega-hot wife Cheryl Cole with a slew of mistresses. Instead of a simple answer, this is what he decided to say:

“Forget Ashley Cole, his behaviour has nothing on a film star. WAGs get an easy time – they should try living with Hollywood hellraisers. I once spent a weekend in the UK and had 14 women in one night. British footballers have got nothing on us when it comes to women. If you WAGs knew what Hollywood’s stars get up to you’d think you were married to pussycats.”

Transformers beauty Megan Fox has revealed that she’ll be starring in the upcoming Passion Play with the always-entertaining Mickey Rourke. And what’s even better, she’ll be playing a “circus freak.”

Fox reveals,

“There is a love story there, it’s clearly not going to be a typical one. My character is basically a circus freak, she lives in a cage and she has wings. She’s not an angel, but she has these giant wings that grow out of her back. She’s a freak and she’s on display.”

Alas, we’ll have to wait until 2010 to see the romantic sparks fly between Rourke and Fox, but how could it not be worth it?

Mickey Rourke was his ridiculous, outlandish self when he was spotted leaving Jalouse nightclub in London last night.

As he left the club at 3:15 am, the actor making the peace sign at photographers, bought a rose from a homeless man, then proceeded to eat the rose and spit the petals at the stunned paps.

Rourke slips Sly some ink as the character Tool in the upcoming adventure flick The Expendables, about a team of missionaries who travel to South America to overthrow a dictator.

The film, which was written and directed by Stallone, also stars Jason Statham, Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren.

The always surprising Mickey Rourke was spotted holding a statue of Jesus Christ as he left the Wellington Club in London around 4 a.m. on Thursday morning.

He also showed off his new ink—three X’s on his knuckles that he apparently did with a black marker. We wonder what that’s all about.
