In a classic clip from Saturday Night Live, Molly plays the late great Elizabeth Taylor, spoofing Liz’s often offbeat public persona. In the skit, the Dame is supposed to announce the lottery numbers but has trouble grasping the concept and just starts rattling off whatever random digits come to mind.

When “Weekend Update” anchors Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon try to help out, things get more complicated because she identifies one of the numbers as the letter “S.”

It’s all much funnier if you watch the skit — so enjoy this Flashback Friday clip! 

Naturally as a Hollywood mom to son Nolan and daughter Stella, her kids helped inspire the new book, titled “Tilly the Trickster.”

She tells Celebuzz that playing pranks is a family tradition!  When they were really young, she used to dress up Nolan as Stella and vice versa, tricking various people they encountered and falling into fits of laughter when they were called by the wrong names.

She’s also finding balance in her life — which includes low calorie sweet treats from Skinny Cow Candy. Her favorites include the wafers, which are only 100 calories!

Don’t worry, she will of course continue her work on screen — she’s in upcoming episodes of The Middle and is currently working to voice the character of Wanda in Hotel Transylvania.

NBC has announced that Pam, 41, will appear as herself on an upcoming episode of the Molly Shannon-Selma Blair sitcom Kath & Kim, says TV Guide.

Hopefully the producers have something, uh, big in store for Anderson.

NBC’s version of the series is a remake of a hit Australian show about a dysfunctional mother-daughter relationship.

Meanwhile, stunt casting is rampant on the networks these days; Kim Kardashian, Heidi Montag, Spencer Pratt and Kendra Wilkinson are set to appear in the same upcoming episode of CBS hit How I Met Your Mother; and Jennifer Aniston and Oprah Winfrey each did a guest stint on NBC’s 30 Rock over the past two weeks.

Kath & Kim airs Thursday nights, and has been picked up by NBC for a full season.

The laffer is a remake of a hit Aussie show about a foxy at 40 mom (Shannon) and her childish daughter (Blair) living in Florida. Just the garish outfits alone are gut busting. Plus Australian imports tend to do well in the USA.

Hopefully, the jokes will be as funny as the spandex the stars are wearing.

Whether a fresh face or an old hand; leading-lady or secondary character; televsion actress or big screen star; and not to mention talented writer; all of these queens of laughter have tossed traditional female comedic roles aside.
