Jennifer Aniston’s mother was hospitalized again last week after suffering yet another health crisis, Celebuzz has learned exclusively.

“Last week on Wednesday or Thursday, her mom had another stroke. This was her second one in a year,” a source close to Nancy Dow said.

It’s the latest setback for the Friends star’s mother, who had a serious stroke in late 2011 and has suffered a number of injuries since then, as Celebuzz previously reported.

In fact, Dow broke a bone in her hip and bruised her shoulder after recent spills, according to the insider. The effects of her original stroke limited her physical movement so severely that she now requires 24-hour care.

Fortunately, the 76-year-old’s latest health scare is much less serious than her 2011 stroke.

“Luckily, this one was minor,” said the insider. “She went to the hospital, but she’s already back home. But she’s having trouble talking and is still shuffling around.”

And Dow’s health remains precarious. Said the insider: “It could get worse, and the family fears it may not be long until a bigger stroke comes along.

Aniston and Dow — who was married to Aniston’s father, Days of Our Lives actor John Aniston, until  1980 — have a famously rocky relationship. Their estrangement began when Dow gave an interview about her daughter  in 1996; three years later, she detailed their family feud in a memoir, From Mother And Daughter To Friends.

But despite their friction, our insider says Aniston has not forgotten about her mother in her time of need.

“Jennifer is paying her medical bills,” said the source. “So she’s involved to an extent in her mom’s life and well-being, and they’re getting friendlier than years ago.”

And in September of last year, the 43-year-old reportedly visited Dow in the hospital with her fiance, Justin Theroux. Reports have also indicated that said Dow will be invited to their wedding.

Nancy Dow, the mother of actress Jennifer Aniston, is under full-time medical care after a series of setbacks since she suffered from a stroke last year — including a number of falls.

“Sadly, as a result of the stroke, Nancy has effectively become disabled,” a source close to Dow told Celebuzz. “She’s forced to shuffle around.”

The effects of the stroke only allow Dow limited physical movement, the source added, which was a major factor in deciding to bring on round-the-clock help.

“She’s getting 24-hour care,” the insider close to the mother of the former Friends star, 43, said.

As for how Dow is able to pay for the medical assistance, the source says she the 76-year-old is still receiving financial support from her ex-husband, Days of Our Lives actor John Aniston, whom she divorced in 1980.

“She [Nancy] still gets a lot of money from Jennifer’s father,” added the source. “So she’s able to pay for the care she needs.”

Aside from the debilitating stroke, Dow’s nasty spills left the family extremely concerned about her well-being while living on her own.

“The first time she fell, the family thought she broke her hip and was very worried,” the source said. “Luckily, it wasn’t as serious as they thought, but she did break a bone in her hip.”

“Then just a couple weeks ago she fell again and bruised her shoulder,” the insider continued.

Dow has been estranged from her daughter since she gave an interview about their relationship in 1996. She later detailed their relationship in a 1999 memoir, From Mother And Daughter To Friends.

In recent months, however, there have been signs that their relationship may be on the mend. In September, Aniston reportedly visited Dow in the hospital with her fiance, Justin Theroux.

Reports also came out in August that said Dow will be invited to their wedding, as well.
