Now this is The New Normal.

After announcing her engagement in January, NeNe Leakes is ready to redo to her “I do” to her ex-husband Greg Leakes. But he isn’t the man she sees as her baby daddy.

“I’m going to have my baby with Justin Bartha,” The Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Celebuzz at the Bravo upfront of her costar on the hit NBC comedy, The New Normal. “I love Justin…dearly. I mean, I miss him more than I miss anybody on the set. He’s so funny, he’s such a great guy. And we’re going to have a baby together.”

And it could become a reality, as Bartha is completely on board. “NeNe Leakes is perfection on 8-inch heels,” he recently told USA Today. “She is my beautiful, black soul sister, soul mate, and we will make a baby one day and name is Crissy.”

But do they have the blessing of Leakes’s hubby-to-be? “[Because] that could be a deal breaker,” noted her RHOA costar Porsha Stewart. “Greg is fine with it,” Leakes said.

“Greg I’m very close with also. We have an arrangement,” Bartha explained. “They obviously are very devoted to each other but she is allowed to lay with me whenever she would like because Greg is not threatened by me.”

Though they are clearly chummy now, Leakes and Bartha didn’t bond right off the bat. “It’s so interesting [because] when we first met each other on set I didn’t feel a connection right away,” she recalled. “And I guess Justin is like me — we had to watch each other and figure out, ‘Does this work? Does this work?’ [But now] I love him.”

As for the other main man in her life, a wedding in on the horizon. “We are hoping to get married soon and the planning is going really slow,” Leakes said. “I’ve been working a lot, so we haven’t been able to do a lot of planning. So, hopefully marrying soon.”

Tori Spelling got crafty this week in Thousand Oaks, California with a little help from her family. And no, that didn’t include Candy.

What does the face of newly minted Golden Globe winner look like? Just ask Jessica Chastain, who was all smiles in New York City Wednesday morning.

The 35-year-old actress, who took home the prize for her powerhouse performance in Zero Dark Thirty Sunday night, has been back on the east coast for her Broadway duties in The Heiress, opposite Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens.

Speaking of work, fellow Golden Globe winner Daniel Day-Lewis was spotted in Madrid, Spain, where he was promoting Lincoln.

The 55-year-old star was joined by his co-star Sally Field, who glowed in a red dress, and director Steven Spielberg.

Back in Hollywood, The Real Housewives of Atlanta’s NeNe Leakes enjoyed a meal at celeb hot spot Boa Restaurant on Tuesday night.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes is engaged — again.

The 45-year-old confirmed that she will be walking down the aisle — for the second time — with ex-husband Gregg Leakes on Thursday’s episode of Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.

Following a series of Twitpics documenting a romantic night filled with rose petals and champagne, The New Normal actress accepted her former spouse’s proposal soon after the clock struck midnight on New Year’s Day.

“A little after midnight, I was asked this beautiful question: Will you marry me — again?” NeNe said on the late night talk show.

Her answer?

“Yes!” she exclaimed when host Jimmy Fallon pushed for a response.

NeNe also teased fans of her new engagement on Twitter.

“IT’S ON NOW! #2013,” she tweeted alongside a photo of multiple Hershey’s Kisses forming a heart on the bed.

NeNe and Gregg divorced in 2011 after nearly 14 years of marriage together. They are parents to sons Bryson and Brentt.

NeNe Leakes may be a working woman, but she’s a “family girl” at heart.

The New Normal star told Celebuzz at the Cellphones For Soldiers and Voli Light event on Dec. 6 at Skybar in West Hollywood that she “will definitely be in Atlanta” in time for Christmas.

“I want to go home to my family,” she said. “I’m going to go home a couple of days before Christmas.”

Does the Real Housewives of Atlanta star have any New Year’s resolutions in the works?

“I make resolutions, I’m a big believer in them,” she admitted.

“I write them down and put them in my bible but I cannot tell you them because if I did I feel like they won’t come true.

“There’s a superstitious side of me — but I can tell you one thing that I always hope and pray for: that I continue to work,” Leakes said. “That is a blessing.”

Leakes is certainly working hard these days. Her hit series The New Normal just finished filming Dec 21 in Los Angeles and the Bravo Housewivesfranchise is currently on the air for its fifth season.

“My long-term goal is to have a talk show,” Leakes told Celebuzz at TV Guide Magazine’s Hot List Party in West Hollywood on Monday.

“I love talk,” she continued. “I love meeting and talking to people, so I would love to have my own talk show.”

Clearly, Leakes is serious about the ambition. The mother of two tells us that she’s definitely in talks with people about the show and she’s aiming to launch in a year or two. And she’s been doing her homework on the best female talk show hosts.

“There’s so many girls that are great,” Leakes, 44, told us of her talk show role models. “I loved Tyra Banks when she was doing her thing. Of course, you have to love Oprah [Winfrey]. She’s the queen. I remember Sally Jesse Raphael. I watched all of those people doing talk. I’d like to be a little bit of each one of them. So that’s my long-term goal, I’d love to be a talk show host.”

Of course, she’ll have to find the time for it. She’s currently racking up the frequent flier miles traveling between her homes in Los Angeles and Atlanta. “I’m a flight attendant at this point,” she joked.

Real Housewife of Atlanta Nene Leakes is one of those rare personalities who have been able to make the transition from reality star to full-fledged actress in NBC’s hit The New Normal.

In addition to her new job, Leakes will continue to appear on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta this season. After a much-publicized on-screen divorce with ex-husband Gregg Leakes during last season, we can expect the upcoming fifth season of the show to chronicle the couple’s reconciliation.

Gregg who also attended The New Normal’s Paley Center preview panel with the star was with Leakes when she attended Entertainment Weekly’s pre-Emmy part at Fig & Olive in Beverly Hills Friday.

Of the current state of their relationship, she told Celebuzz at the event, “We’re doing good. We’re parents so we are working it out.” The two have a 13-year-old son, Brentt.

Leakes also talked to us about her transition to scripted television at the hands of Glee and The New Normal c0-creator Ryan Murphy. 

After Murphy gave the actress a small stint on the FOX musical show as swim coach Roz, he hand-picked her for the role of the feisty Rocky on The New Normal. He even changed the role a bit to suit her personality. Leakes’ Rocky is the sassy and fierce assistant of Bryan (Andrew Rannells) on the NBC show.

“It feels really good for Ryan Murphy to even say ‘Hey, I saw you and I want you to come work for me on my shows.’ That to me was just amazing,” said Leakes. “I’m very blessed.”

As for the upcoming season of Housewives, she says “Good luck girls! If you tune into the fifth season you will see a lot happening with the house. It will be a bumpy ride as always but entertaining.”

The New Normal airs Tuesdays at 9:30 PM on NBC. Bravo’s Real Housewives of Atlanta will return Sunday, Nov. 4 at 9 PM.

Andy Warhol may have predicted that everyone would become famous for 15 minutes, but he never guaranteed that everyone would earn the same paycheck for their moment in the spotlight.

Among the stars minted by reality TV, how much you earn — like so much else in America — depends largely on where you started out. Those who are already rich or somewhat famous have an advantage over the previously anonymous, and people from pricier zip codes tend to outearn those from the sticks.

The class divide among reality stars reared its head in recent days with the claim by The Hollywood Reporter that the Thompson clan, the self-styled rednecks from McIntyre, Ga. who star in TLC’s new smash Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, earn as little as $2,000 to $4,000 per episode, or no more than $40,000 for the ten-episode season for the entire family. Family matriarch June Shannon has said the figure is a lot higher than that, but even so, it would have to be much, much higher to match the fees earned by, say, the Kardashian family, the various Real Housewives, or even the souvenir T-shirt sales crew on Jersey Shore.

Honey Boo Boo viewers love to be appalled by Shannon and partner Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson — either they’re bad parents who ply their kids with energy drinks and overstuff them with food while raising them in an atmosphere of privation and backwardness, or they’re bad parents who are exploiting their kids by pushing them in front of a camera even while taking a shamefully low fee for a show that has to be earning TLC millions in ad dollars.

Shannon disputes the $4,000-per-episode figure, telling the Reporter that they’re earning enough from the show to start trust funds for the four kids; in fact, they’re saving all the show money and continuing to live off Thompson’s wages from the local chalk mine.

One guide to how much the Thompsons may earn comes from TLC’s other series built around unorthodox families. At the height of their fame (and before the parental split), the Gosselins of Jon & Kate + 8 were earning $22,500 per episode. (So said Jon Gosselin in a 2009 interview.)

The Duggar family, of 19 Kids and Counting, earn between $25,000 and $40,000 per episode. (Note that the Gosselin family was half as big and lived in suburban Pennsylvania, while the ever-expanding Duggar brood lives in rural Arkansas.)

Over on MTV, the stars of Teen Mom have been doing their part to perpetuate back-country stereotypes (or, if you prefer serve as cautionary tales), but for at least $60,000 per season. But that fee grew as the show aged. Last year, in court documents, Amber Portwood divulged that she was earning $140,000 per season, or $280,000 per year.

Meanwhile, in the higher property tax environs of New Jersey, the stars of Jersey Shore have been earning at least $30,000  per episode each. That adds up to $390,000 per season, or $780,000 per year, for each of the eight roommates. Ever wonder why none of them is motivated to put in a full day’s work at their landlord’s boardwalk T-shirt shop? That’s why.

The reality stars who live largest, the various women of Bravo’s Real Housewives franchise, also earn some of the highest salaries in reality TV. Those who’ve been on the longest have earned bigger salary bumps. For example, according to Radar, among the Real Housewives of Orange County, veteran Vicki Gunvalson earns $450,000 per season, compared to just $30,000 for newbie Heather Dubrow. In the middle are Alexis Bellino ($2000,000), Gretchen Rossi ($300,000) and Tamra Barney ($350,0000).

For Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the spread is narrower, with Lisa Vanderpump leading the pack with $250,000 per season and Kim Richards and Yolanda Hadid bringing up the rear at $100,000 each. But the franchise’s queen bee is, not surprisingly, the woman who leads the cast of the highest rated show. That would Be Nene Leakes of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, who commands $750,000 per season.

The highest paid performers in reality TV are, of course, the Kardashians. This summer, the family signed a deal for $30 million to star in three more seasons of E!’s Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Of course, there are a lot of Kardashians and Jenners who get to split that $10 million per season; presumably, Kris Jenner and eldest daughters Kim, Khloe, and Kourtney get the lion’s share.

In fact, Kim Kardashian is, according to Forbes, not only the highest-paid woman in reality TV, but also the second highest-earning woman in primetime, period. She earns $18 million a year; only Sofia Vergara of scripted show Modern Family earns more. But much of Kim’s money comes from endorsement deals; same with Vergara, who also gets money from commercials and movie appearances. For both women, only a small fraction of their wealth comes from their TV salaries; the rest is from ancillaries.

And that’s where the real money is in reality TV, not in the per-episode paycheck. The Kardashians rule here, too, with their multiple endorsements, fashion lines, appearance fees, and more. Not to mention spinoff series. It’s no surprise that Khloe, who has pursued those opportunities especially avidly, isn’t far behind Kim on Forbes‘ top-earning women on TV list, with an annual gross of $11 million.

The Jersey Shore stars may play gorilla juiceheads on TV, but off-camera, they’ve been awfully clever about finding ways to milk their fame. Take Snooki, who’s parlayed her fame into a series of best-selling books, products sold on home shopping channels, speaking fees of $30,000 a pop, a spinoff series with pal J-Woww, and and a fee reported at $250,000 to license first exclusive photo rights to People magazine for pictures of her newborn baby, Lorenzo. The Situation has landed endorsement deals and frequent stints on other reality shows to earn himself at least 45 million a year. But Jersey Shore’s top earner may actually be Pauly D, whose spinoff series, endorsements, and high-profile DJ gigs have earned him $11 million a year.

That ancillary money can continue long after the reality gig that spawned it is over. Just ask some of the Real Housewives of New York alumnae. Jill Zarin claimed she earned $1 million in sales from her shapewear line after she left the show. And Bethenny Frankel famously sold her Skinnygirl cocktail business for $120 million. Not bad for a woman who claimed that, before Real Housewives, she couldn’t even pay her rent

Whether the Thompsons of Honey Boo Boo will be able to drum up similar opportunities for themselves is far from certain. Seven-year-old Alana Thompson, Honey Boo Boo herself, may have the cuteness and ebullience to be a commercial spokesperson, at least until she hits puberty in a few years. And given the popularity of Paula Deen, there must be enough fans of calorie-counting-be-damned Southern cuisine to make a Thompson family cookbook a bestseller. At any rate, two things are certain. First, they shouldn’t count on the largesse of TLC. And second, they’d better strike while the iron is hot. Those 15 minutes go by awfully fast.

Bravo’s original The Real Housewives of Atlanta castmember NeNe Leakes is feeling herself these days. The reality star has parlayed her career into scripted television – first with a recurring role on FOX’s Glee and now on the cast of the new NBC comedy, The New Normal.

“Oh, success is definitely the best revenge,” Leakes, 44, tells Celebuzz at PaleyFest in Beverly Hills this week. “And when you’re working and doing something you love to do, nothing’s better.”

The New Normal portrays a gay couple (played by Justin Bartha and Andrew Rannells) and their surrogate mother’s (Georgia King) path to having a baby together. Leakes plays Rocky, the no-nonsense assistant to Rannells’ father-to-be Bryan.

What does NeNe bring to the character?

“She’s very outspoken. She’s fabulous. She’s boisterous. She’s protective over her gays,” Leakes describes. “I love to tell everybody that she uses her boss’ credit card without his knowledge, which I absolutely love and think it’s hilarious. You know, NeNe is a lot of Rocky. Well, at least the old NeNe.”

A breakout star from the Bravo series, Leakes expanded her unscripted resume when she appeared on The Celebrity Apprentice last year. But, Glee and The New Normal co-creator Ryan Murphy is a big Real Housewives fan and already had his eye on taking Leakes into the scripted genre. Originally, he called the reality star up to talk about the role of coach Roz on Glee and then later invited her to join the NBC comedy’s cast.

But Leakes had actually chased an acting career before joining the Bravo show and says she appeared in the 2003 film The Fighting Temptations starring Cuba Gooding Jr. and Beyonce along with small TV parts on Girlfriends and The Parkers.

Having finally made the crossover into acting, Leakes tells us that she often forgets to stop and smell the roses.

“When I do sit down and think about it, I’m like, ‘Five years ago, I was somewhere else. And here I am five years later right here with you.’ And it’s so great when you can grow and come into your own,” she explains. “The freeing feeling of that is everything. It’s amazing.”

That doesn’t mean reality TV no longer has a draw on the burgeoning actress, but she has a plan for that going forward as well. “I love reality television and I hope to do some work on producing some shows, creating some things, so I’d love to be on that side,” she reveals to us.

Leakes currently lives in Beverly Hills. And while she went through a very public and onscreen divorce with ex Gregg Leakes, he was in attendance at the Paley Center event along with their young son, Brentt. So, we asked her if she had any advice for divorcing Beverly Hills housewife, Adrienne Maloof.

“The one thing I would say is shhhh. Shut up. Don’t say nothing. Be quiet,” she answers.

Yes, there is a life after Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Just ask NeNe Leakes, who launched a career off the reality show, first landing on Celebrity Apprentice, where she crapped out under the withering coif of Donald Trump, and then moving onto a recurring role on Glee.

“If Mr. Trump had given me two days of sleep, I could have come back and won,” she tells reporters on Tuesday.

How is NeNe winning now?

Glee showrunner Ryan Murphy liked her so much that he cast Leakes in his new show, The New Normal, premiering September 11 on NBC.

“It’s about two gay guys who are partners for life and are looking for a surrogate,” she summarized. “I play Rocky, who is outspoken, sassy, holds her own.”

Leakes and the show have come under fire from conservative activist group, One Million Moms, which believes The New Normal is anti-marriage. But don’t tell Leakes about homophobia.

“Listen, I’m around gays every day,” she said. “I believe that the new normal is something that is not traditional. And if living means you are with another man holding hands, that’s fine with me. Who am I to say you can’t hold hands with the person that you say you love?”

Starting out, Leakes aspired to be a news anchor but soon discovered that she didn’t like reading. Next stop was Hollywood where she studied acting, a skill she had no need for on Real Housewives.

“Listen, us six girls, we didn’t like each other,” she confessed. “So, everything you saw was pretty much real. The producers didn’t have to say anything, and that made for great television.”

Leakes emerged better off from the experience and counts herself a survivor having endured years in an abusive relationship when she was younger.

“For a very long time, I thought that it was love when it really wasn’t love,” she recalled. “So I plotted my exit, which wasn’t easy to do because I was afraid of him.”

Leakes has since founded My Sister’s House, a shelter for abused women. “I made it to the other side,” she said. “I’m so much more stronger for that.”

Although she never backs down from a fight on The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Nene Leakes says she does have some reservations when it comes to her next TV project, playing a swim coach on Glee. 

In a new interview with TheInsider.com, the outspoken reality star also talks about her private life and the rumors that she’s joining the Beverly Hills cast. 

“I’ve been really worried about the water,” she admits when talking about her role on Glee.

“I’m a black girl. I can’t get my hair all wet! I’m sure they will find a way to get me in the water and I will just die.”

When the conversation turns personal she reveals that she’s still working on her marriage, despite problems with her hubby being a focus on RHOA, saying, “I will never have a public relationship again. That’s one of the regrets I have is putting my relationship out there. Greg and I are not totally done.” 

Meanwhile, while nothing is confirmed, she says she’d welcome the chance to move to Beverly Hills.

“I would come and play with these Beverly Hills girls,” she says. “I would give them a run for their money!” 

Real Housewives of Atlanta diva NeNe Leakes made headlines a few weeks ago when it was revealed that she had landed a guest spot on Glee. Now, Celebuzz has your first look at the reality TV star’s hotly anticipated debut.

In the episode titled Yes/No, airing Jan. 17 on FOX, NeNe plays Roz Washington, McKinley High’s synchronized swim coach who, based on this official still, gets into a tiff with Chord Overstreet’s character, Sam Evans. No word on how long the guest spot will last, though the character is said to be recurring.

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes knows how to bring the drama and will be putting on quite a show as she heads to Glee to guest-star on the Fox dramedy. And last night on Watch What Happens Live, Glee stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer spilled some juicy details about Nene’s role: she’ll play Roz Washington, McKinley High’s new swim coach.

“We were snooping on some confidential files and saw that her real name was Linnethia… which I am obsessed with now,” Michele said. “She’s awesome. She plays the new swim coach, Roz.”

Shortly after the interview aired, the Housewives star tweeted: “Running through the house screaming Gleeeeee! Coach Roz Washington is gonna get that Sue Sylvester! I’m so proud of myself.”

Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes and former View host Star Jones are no strangers to drama, so when the two came together to star on the upcoming season of Celebrity Apprentice, it should come as a surprise that these two ladies didn’t exactly see eye to eye.

What exactly caused this drama? And what can we expect to see on this season of the hit NBC show? Nene spoke with Celebuzz to dish out all the dirt:

You clash a bit with Star Jones on this season of Celebrity Apprentice. Can you give us some inside scoop on that?
Well for weeks we were cool. What caused it is that I don’t think Star is a loyal person. I’m very loyal to those who are loyal to me. I understand we are playing a game. People are manipulative and strategic, but I don’t feel that you need to be that way when you’re playing for charity. She was backstabbing and manipulative and it really aggravated me so I called her on it in front of Trump.

Who did you get along with and get close to?
Star and I got along well for a long time, but I always felt she had this preconceived notion about me. I also heard that she didn’t really like reality stars. Some people left early so I didn’t get a chance to make a connection with them, but I thought all the girls were cool. Latoya [Jackson] has been the person I’ve talked to the most. We clash on the show because of Star but we both confronted her. Towards the end, everyone starts to get aggressive, but all the girls are cool.

What’s it like being there with Latoya Jackson?
I’ve never been a star struck person. I respect her family and the things that they’ve done in the entertainment industry, but that’s their thing. I met her and introduced myself. I saw another side of Latoya that people don’t know. I talk to her the most out of everybody. She’s really cool.

You’ve been working on your brand and your business. Are you now looking to expand? What’s next?
A lot of opportunities have been presented to me. I’m not sure which way to go in yet, but one of my goals is to host. I’d love to do something like Chelsea Lately where we can laugh a bit and then move to the couch and have an interview. I’m also very interested in shoes and handbags too, so I have a few things to think about.
