Keep those screams coming, dearest Directioners, because One Direction will be on the road for a while.

On Thursday, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Niall Horan announced the first batch of dates for their 2014 “Where We Are” stadium tour, set to kick off Apr. 25, 2014 in Bogota, Colombia.

The boys, who are currently on the European leg of their “Take Me Home Tour,” are set to announce more dates for their stadium tour later on.

“So excited about having announced the first legs of the stadium tour. So looking forward to announcing more dates soon!!!!!!!” Styles wrote on Twitter.

Added Horan, “For us this is absolutely crazy! We are soo excited! Every night is just gona [sic] be amazing! You’re [sic] support is incredible you have done this x”

For now, seven other Latin America dates have been announced for the “Where We Are” tour, followed by a May 25, 2014 stop in Dublin. UK dates include Sunderland on May 28, Manchester on May 31, Edinburgh on June 3 and home sweet home London on June 7.

1D’s second studio album Take Me Home was the fifth best selling album in the U.S. in 2012, with more than 1.3 million copies sold.

The group’s 3D documentary film One Direction: This Is Us, directed by Morgan Spurlock, opens in theaters Aug. 30.

Niall Horan and a tattoo-happy Louis Tomlinson, who make up two-fifths of the boy band One Direction, were photographed kicking around a soccer ball on Monday before their big concert in Paris.

Ever wanted to smooch Harry Styles? Well, rejoice, because now you can.

The British-Irish boy band has joined the immortalized masses of Madame Tussauds. The wax figures of the chart-topping group’s five members — Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson — were launched at the world-famous waxworks museum, in London, England on Thursday.

Of course, some starry-eyed Directioners were on hand to greet the singers’ wax figurines. Giddy girls swooned over the teen heartthrobs’ strikingly-lifelike likenesses, cozying up to the quintet and smacking their lips on Styles’ cheeks.

Just like their real-life counterparts, the wax copycats will tour the globe as part of a traveling exhibit. After remaining on display at the London location until July 11, the figures will hop from New York (July 19 – Oct. 11) to Sydney (Oct. 24 – Jan. 28), with additional dates and locations still to be announced.

“I’m just kind of a bit overwhelmed,” Styles said last month of joining the wax museum’s comprehensive collection of famed figures. “We’ve been to Madame Tussauds and we’ve seen the kind of people who are in there. It’s crazy to think that we will be up there with them.”

“But it’s an amazing honor to be there,” Tomlinson added. “If you look at some of the names that are in there. We are very proud.”

Weeks after One Direction had their faces, arms and legs measured by Madame Tussauds experts, the museum has unveiled behind-the-scenes photos of the boys in their clay best.

With each clay head propped next to a sculptor, the wax versions of Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Niall Horan look pretty convincing (yes, Harry’s locks and Zayn’s peach fuzz are included).

The exhibit will launch at the London location on Apr. 18, followed by a three-month stay in New York City. The wax figures will then travel to Sydney in October for another three month attraction.

“I think it’s going to be quite weird to see yourself as a wax figure,” Tomlinson told the museum last month. “But it’s an amazing honor to be there. If you look at some of the names that are in there. We are very proud.”

From airports to the streets of New York and Hollywood, the last 24 hours have been packed with plenty of star sightings to last through Easter weekend.

Fresh from her trip to Australia, Ellen DeGeneres enjoyed the California sun in a fedora and shades while out on a walk in Beverly Hills.

“I had heard Aussies were incredible people, but this week I experienced it for myself. Thank you, Australia. I’m glad I married one of you,” the talk show host wrote on Twitter earlier this week, referring to wife Portia de Rossi.

Over in New Orleans, Britney Spears and her boys touched down at Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, along with her dad Jamie.

In other airport sightings, Amanda Seyfried tried to keep a low profile after landing at Los Angeles International Airport while Niall Horan flew from Ireland to London’s Heathrow after attending his big brother’s wedding.

On the red carpet, Bruce Willis, his wife Emma Heming, daughter Rumer Willis and her beau Jayson Blair celebrated the premiere of G.I. Joe: Retaliation at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. The sequel to 2009’s G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is currently in theaters.

Niall Horan was on best man duties on Wednesday as he suited up for a wedding in Ireland.

The groom was Horan’s older brother Greg, who wed Denise Kelly at St. Michael’s Church in Castletown Geoghegan in County Westmeath, Ireland.

The younger Horan, 19, matched his brother’s grey three-piece suit, boutonniere and striped tie for the big day.

According to The Daily Mail, One Direction fans greeted the wedding party when they arrived outside the church.

Following the ceremony, the “Kiss You” singer was spotted signing autographs and meeting with fans, including some that were all bundled up for the winter weather.

The boys from One Direction are currently on a short break from their world tour. The group is due in Liverpool on Sunday, followed by five shows at London’s famous O2 Arena to kick off the new month.

The members of One Direction have never masked their love of tattoos. But the chart-blazing boy band has come under fire after asking fans to share their 1D body art over the weekend, , a move that has been seen by some as encouraging young Directioners to go under the needle.

“Have a real #1D tattoo? Show us!” the band wrote to their over 10 million Twitter followers on Saturday. “Submit a 90 sec YouTube video to 1d3dfan@gmail.com and show us why you should be in the @1D3Dmovie.”

A similar note was posted on One Direction’s Facebook page around the same time, which has over 13 million friends.

But after the group — consisting of Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson — caught wind of the controversy over their tatt call out, the Tweet was removed and the group tried to clear the air.

“This tweet was posted in error and has now been removed,” said the group’s spokesperson Simon Jones. “One Direction does not want to encourage any of their fans to get 1D tattoos.”

It seems the 1D is hoping Directioners will do as the boy band stars say, not as the do. Over the weekend, a snap surfaced of Styles’ latest inking, a big butterfly emblazoned across his chest. The tat joins his collection of around 25, which includes a pair of swallows on his collarbone, the words “Might as well…” on his left hip, the abbreviations “LA, LDN and NY” on his left arm, and a birdcage on his left rib cage.

And Styles isn’t the only 1D member hitting the tattoo parlor. In early March, Tomlinson showed off a fresh tattooof a steaming cup of tea, adding to the number of designs etched on his arm, which includes the word “Oops,” a stick man, a bird and a compass.

While both Payne and Malik — who recently said “I want to fill my entire right arm up to my elbow” — have a growing body art collection, Horan is thought to be the only One Direction member who has stayed away from the needle altogether.

Talk about a show stopper.

While on the road for their Take Me Home tour, Louis Tomlinson had a mind-lapse when he forgot the lyrics midway through a cover of Wheatus‘ “Teenage Dirtbag” during a concert in Cardiff, Wales.

“I just forgot the lyrics. I’m not even going to pretend that I know them,” the One Direction singer admitted, trying to sing the part.

As he concentrated on remembering his lines, Tomlinson’s bandmates — Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Liam Payne — came to the rescue, filling in for their flustered pal.

“I’m sorry, Cardiff,” the 21-year-old said as the crowd cheered him on.

With 117 dates ahead of them, 1D’s massive world tour is already proving to be memorable.

At a show in Glasgow, Scotland, a frenzied fan hurled a shoe onstage, which hit Styles square in the groin. Despite falling to the ground in pain, the 19-year-old mustered a smile and promptly got back to his feet after a few stretches.

The British boy band are currently in the U.K. leg of their tour, with upcoming performances in Dublin and Belfast, Ireland on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The British boy band topped the U.K. charts with their latest single “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks),” an upbeat mashup of Blondie‘s and The Undertones‘ hits from the late ’70s.

But this isn’t 1D’s first venture into cover songs. Throughout their two sold-out tours, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Liam Payne and Louis Tomlinson have delighted millions of Directioners with their renditions of Wheatus‘ “Teenage Dirtbag,” Katy Perry‘s “Teenage Dream,” Jason Mraz‘s “I’m Yours,” and yes, even the theme song to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

As they hit the road again for their second world tour, Take Me Home, the fivesome are sure to surprise fans with more versions of some of music’s most timeless classics. From pop to punk, what could 1D tackle next?

One Direction have officially kicked off their Take Me Home world tour with the first of a doubleheader in their hometown of London, England.

Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Zayn Malik performed at the famous O2 Arenaon Saturday to a sea of screaming fans.

“Aggghhhhh! Lets do this! Cant believe its 1st show day! Cant wait,” Horan wrote on Twitter before the show.

The world tour, named after the group’s second studio album, will take the boys all over the world for more than 100 shows in places like Stockholm, Zurich, Madrid, Nashville, Vancouver and Sydney.

“London you were incredible tonight.. Great start to the tour. Thank you so much for coming to see us. Love you all .xx,” Styles wrote on Twitter following the tour opener.

One Direction will play the O2 Arena again on Sunday night before heading over to Glasgow for yet another doubleheader on Feb. 26.

Nope, this is all just a part of One Direction‘s latest self-shot music video for “One Way or Another (Teenage Kicks),” in which the lads let fans into all their backstage antics that happened during their world tour.

The video starts with band member Louis Tomlinson explaining the premise, saying, “This year we decided to make a single to raise money for Comic Relief.”

“So instead of spending a load of money on a music video,” Harry Styles chimes in, “we decided to make it ourselves while we were on tour and give the money we saved to Comic Relief.”

Like any 1D video, footage of the boys goofing around — including Liam Payne opening the shower curtain on one of his showering bandmates — is shown as they hit New York City, Japan, London and Africa.

With all these behind-the-scenes footage, we wonder if the teenage heartthrobs will have enough backstage clips for their upcoming 3D movie, due out in August.

Zayn Malik is breaking out of his tough bad boy image.

During a recent trip to Africa, Malik couldn’t hold back from crying after visiting sick children at local hospital in Accra, Ghana with his One Direction bandmates.

The British pop star choked up as he chatted with a nurse caring for an ailing baby, whose stay at the ward could have been prevented with a simple vaccination.

“This is why it’s ridiculous, it only cost five pounds,” he said as he held a vaccine bottle. “This could prevent this from happening, you know, just five pounds. That’s all you have to pay.”

Overcome with emotions, Malik excused himself from the room, stepping outside to reflect on the harrowing reality of the visit.

“It’s so hard,” he explained while bursting into tears. “I’ve never seen, never experienced anything like this in my life.”

The rest of Malik’s bandmates — Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan, Harry Styles and Liam Payne — also met with number of children and babies, all fighting for their lives against common and curable diseases like diarrhea and

“Walking through the hospital is heartbreaking. To see children so sick from malnutrition to pneumonia, there is an air of tension and sadness in the walls,” Tomlinson said, adding “That was probably the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do.”

The boys’ charitable visit is just one part of their work for Red Nose Day, Comic Relief’s fundraising telecast airing March 15 in the U.K.

Over this past weekend, 1D released a short preview for their charity single, “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks),” a mashup of Blondie’s 1979 hit and the Undertones’ 1978 song. All the proceeds will aid Comic Relief’s efforts.

“It kind of put things into perspective for me, just in like in everyday life you have like little problems that we think are so major, and then you go over there and you actually see people that are actually dealing with real problems,” Malik said in an interview last month with U.K. morning show, Daybreak.

Get ready, Directioners: “Another” music video is heading your way.

Over the weekend, One Direction released a short preview for the upcoming video for their latest single, “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks),” a cover of Blondie’s 1979 hit.

Traveling all over from Japan to New York to Africa, the British boy band show off their lighter side, goofing around during their globe-trotting adventures — and a few lucky fans even got to join in the fun.

The video was shot by the boys — Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne — and features the fivesome flirting with flight attendants, walking through NYC’s Times Square and donning some traditional Japanese kimonos.

Their rendition of the classic rock song is just one part of their work with Red Nose Day, Comic Relief ‘s annual telecast (airing March 15th in the U.K.), which raises funds for those less fortunate. The charitable organization brought 1D to the African nation of Ghana, where they visited local schoolchildren and various hospitals in the town of Accra.

And, as expected, “One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)” has already topped the charts. The upbeat pop tune is currently the No. 1 song on iTunes.

“The reaction to the new single is amazing! Thank you all so much for all your help! Its all goin to an amazing cause,” Horan tweeted.

The official, full-length version of the video hits the Internet on Thursday, Feb. 21.

They’re some wild and crazy guys!

One Direction have become known for their clean-cut image, but their antics off the stage paint another picture.

Niall Horan revealed that when he and his bandmates — Harry Styles,  Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne— each turned 18 (the legal gambling age in the United Kingdom), they celebrated with a trip to the casino.

But when the British boy band gambled off a large amount of cash, their management team wasn’t too pleased, to say the least.

“Like most of the stupid things we do, it seemed like it was a good idea at the time,” Horan said in an interview with We Love Pop magazine. “We just thought, ‘We’re 18, this is the first time we’ve been able to spend a bit of money in weeks because we’ve been on the road.’”

Horan won a “reasonable” amount of £100 (the equivalent of $155.98), but quickly stopped his winning streak. As for his pals, the Irish singer had “no comment.”

“Let’s just say it got a bit ugly and a lot of money was lost. A lot,” Horan added. “When our management found out, we got a serious dressing-down about it.”

Lucky fans in Australia got a first glimpse of One Direction‘s upcoming biopic 1D3D, thanks to Australian morning show Daybreak on Friday morning.

The 3D film — helmed by director Morgan Spurlock — doesn’t come out until August, but judging from the short trailer, the British boy band lives no-holds-barred in the movie, which documents their life on the road. OMG, indeed.

The clip features a revealing look into the group’s first world tour, Up All Night, and their rise to fame afterward along with interviews with the guys and their fans.

“As a group, we’re stronger than if there were five people by themselves,” said Zayn Malik in the movie’s interview about his bandmates, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne.

Since coming together in 2010 on The X Factor U.K., the five lads have been catapulted into stardom, thanks to a bevy of chart-topping hits, platinum records, sold out concerts and a dedicated fanbase spanning across the globe.

Just recently, the boys put their fame to good use, jetting to the African nation of Ghana, where they visited local schoolchildren for Red Nose Day, Comic Relief’s fundraising telecast held on March 15 in the U.K.

This month, 1D will kick off the European leg of their Take Me Home tour, which will also take them to the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

One Direction is clowning around for a good cause.

The British boy band put on their best “Red Noses” in a photo shoot for Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day campaign, which kicks off in the U.K. on March 15.

Earlier this month, the boys began their charity work with a trip to the African nation of Ghana, where they visited local school children in the impoverished town of Accra.

“We’ve seen appeal film before, so we thought we knew what it’s like. But when you’re there and you get the smells, your eyes hurt from the smoke, you cough, you’re feeling it all,” Styles told The Sun.

Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan are also set to debut their single for the charitable event — a cover of Blondie’s classic hit, “One Way Or Another” — at the Brit Awards on Feb. 12.

The fivesome’s humbling visit to Ghana will air in a film during Red Nose Day, while joining a slew of other British celebrities, including Jessie J, during the annual telecast.

“We recorded Blondie’s ‘One Way or Another,’ and we really want the song to raise lots of money and for people to show their support by going out and buying themselves a copy,” Horan said.

The single hit U.K.’s iTunes store on Tuesday, and all proceeds will go to charity.

As they prepare to hit the road for their upcoming tour in February, the boys shared the life-changing impact of their visit.

“It kind of put things into perspective for me, just in like in everyday life you have like little problems that we think are so major, and then you go over there and you actually see people that are actually dealing with real problems,” Malik said during an appearance on British morning show Daybreak on Thursday morning.

Added Styles: “We went out there not knowing what to expect, but we came back thinking it was the best thing we’d ever done.”

One Direction is taking over the world.

The British boy band will officially begin shooting its behind-the-scenes movie with a pair of performances in Tokyo on Jan. 18 and 19.

The fivesome’s — Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan — trip to Japan will officially kick off their Take Me Home tour that follows in the U.S., U.K., and Canada, which starts in February.

The 3D documentary, which will be helmed by director Morgan Spurlock, hits theaters in August and is expected to give Directioners a never-before-seen glimpse at the group’s life on and off the stage.

“I’m delighted we’re making this film, and Morgan is the perfect person to give that access-all-areas, behind-the-scenes look into what it’s like to be One Direction today. What the band have achieved is incredible, they and their fans have made history around the world — this is for them,” said the group’s founder, Simon Cowell. (via Billboard)

The “What Makes You Beautiful” crooners recently wrapped rehearsals for their second tour since the release of their smash album Take Me Home in November.

Before the boys hit the road, they partook in a “life-changing” trip to Africa, where they lent a helping hand to those in need in the poverty-stricken region of Accra, Ghana.

“Today was the most amazing day I’ve had so far.. In my life ever,” Styles Tweeted, adding: “@rednoseday Thank you so much for having us. It was amazing and we’ll see you soon xx.”

Horan also opened up about the “visit that changed his life,” tweeting, “‘I’ve seen the slums right in front of me! This is no joke! They really need your help! Poverty is real!”

The charitable trip will be featured during the U.K.’s Red Nose Day on March 15, a Comic Relief telecast raising funds for those less fortunate. In addition, 1D recorded a cover of Blondie’s single, “One Way or Another, to raise money for the annual event.

From Elvis tributes to catching waves (sans shirts!), One Direction brings on the laughs and swoons in their latest music video.

The clip, released on Monday, features Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan and Liam Payne in a number of silly escapades, including a jail cell montage paying tribute to the King of Rock’s famous hit, “Jailhouse Rock.”  Talk about “hunka hunka burning love!”

While the fivesome honored heartthrobs of years’ past, there was no doubt that the three-minute video intended to show off 1D’s comedic chops. Case in point? Almost 40 seconds into the premiere, Harry jokingly touches Zayn’s nipples — err, chest while the pair cruised around on a motorcycle, which somehow managed to fit Liam.

When they aren’t carousing on motorcycles (or a convertible in Niall and Louis’ case), the boys shimmied while surfing in a fake ocean, hit the slopes during a faux skiing trip and even donned Hawaiian shirts and sailor uniforms for a silly photoshoot.

Leading up to the premiere, Directioners were treated to a number of teasers, giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the video.

And further proof of 1D’s global domination: In less than 24 hours, “Kiss You” has already garnered over 5 million views on YouTube.

What’s better than One Direction? One Direction shirtless!

In their latest music video “Kiss You” — which is set to premiere on January 7 — Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Niall Horan, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson strip down to their swim trunks, much to the delight of their millions of teenage fans.

The ’60s-inspired video shows the guys in a range of silly costumes, from shirtless surfwear to skiwear to jailhouse stripes. But Directioners will have to wait until the new year to see the full video. For now, this official video teaser, as  featured in Episode 4 of their “Bring Me To 1D” web series, will just have to do.

Whether or not you like One Direction, one thing is certain: 2012 has been a banner year for the group.

From two No. 1 albums in America — Up All Night and Take Me Home — to a sold-out show in Madison Square Garden, performing in the closing ceremony of the London Olympics and making it on Barbara Walters’ annual most fascinating list, One Direction is one of the biggest pop culture phenomenons of the year.

“I remember the flight over here when we first came to America when we were supporting Big Time Rush, we were delighted we even had that opportunity,” Tomlinson, 20, told Billboard. “We said, ‘Let’s give it a go.’ I remember we said as a band we would be really, really happy with a top 20 album – that would be incredible.”

“For me, the Olympics literally can’t be topped,” said Styles, 18. “Just the feeling of being in that room, all our families were there. The whole feeling was just unbelievable.”

But the boys know the fame and fortune won’t last forever. In fact, when it comes to keeping themselves in check, they turn toward their hit single “Live While We’re Young” for inspiration.

“I’m just really enjoying working for the money our whole year on tour,” said Payne, 19. “We’ve got the film and that stuff coming out next year, still loads of things. It’s just about living in this moment.”
