When it comes to the guys of  Big Time Rush, the word “Rush” is, and always has been, an operative word. In fact, any down time at all is far too elusive of a notion to even consider, between the filming of their Nickelodeon TV show, the recording of their next studio album, and the planning of another multi-month, multi-national tour.

This time around, going into the fourth season of the show (also titled Big Time Rush,) and their third album, Kendall Schmidt, Logan Henderson, James Maslow, and Carlos Pena are just happy to hone in on one endeavor at a time.

“Since we got back from tour, it’s been really nice to actually just focus on one thing at a time. We’ve been really focused on writing, got the majority of the album done,” Maslow, 22, told Celebuzz. “Now, we’re focused on finishing that album and the fourth season. And then we get to shift our focus, and focus only on the tour.”

Maslow added,”Every year before this has kind of been a collaboration of all three trying to keep them going at once, so it’s been nice to spread it out this year. So we’re really excited about that and really excited about our next step, which is going on tour again.”

Last year, BTR spent more than five months on the road for their Better With U Tour, which was quickly followed by their Big Time Summer Tour. And since then, “Rushers” have been patiently waiting for the news of the band’s next concert series.

“We literally are still locking in dates, so we’re probably gonna announce very soon when we’re gonna go. But, it’s a summer tour for sure,” revealed Henderson.

So, which countries are the guys hoping to visit this summer? The boys mentioned Australia and Spain as topping their list.

The most important factor of the impending tour is, of course, new music. Luckily, the band members spent this past winter in the studio working on the followup of their 2011 album, Elevate, which went gold in three countries.

“The music has really come along,” Henderson, 23, said. “We’ve grown as artists as far as the music goes. We are planning for a tour… and we already kind of had our album locked in. So, new music is another thing. We’ve been hard at work in the studio working with a lot of fun people.”

The guys have been working with producers including Damon Sharpe and Toby Gad, who have previously produced for Beyonce, Robin Thicke, and Jennifer Lopez, to name a few.

Maslow added, “We have the title for the new album, we just haven’t announced it yet. Very soon hopefully!”

The Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards are approaching quickly — it airs on Saturday. But, Celebuzz got a advance peek inside the USC Galen Center where the show is going down. Plus (lucky us), our tour guides were the boys of Big Time Rush.

Here’s what we learned!

The guys of BTR are sitting the front row seats, naturally. They will be sitting a row in front of their friends from the Nickelodeon show, Victorious, and right next to actress and presenter Ashley Tisdale. Now, that sounds like a fun area to sit in.

Kendall Schmidt, James Maslow, Carlos Pena and Logan Hendersonall have empty seats next to them for a plus one to fill.

The only problem is.. one of them still doesn’t have a date. Brace yourselves, ladies. Henderson doesn’t have anyone to fill that seat just yet.

“I still have to look for my date,” he told Celebuzz on Thursday. “I’ve been working so much, so I haven’t actually found mine.”

What if he can’t find a date in two days? Maybe, he’ll find a date at the show. Newly-single ladies, Selena Gomez and Katy Perry, are sitting side-by-side a couple seats down from Henderson.

And a few seats away from them are iCarly’s Miranda Cosgrove and US Olympian Gabby Douglas.

If he can’t find a date, he’d be OK with another blimp — the show’s quirky award. Last year, Big Time Rush won for Favorite Music Group and they are up for the same nomination this year.

Band member Maslow agreed that he would be happy to display another blimp, “I just moved, so I only have one table in my living room right now and it’s sitting on that. I’m proud of it, but it could use a case.”

He continued, “If we had two though, we could make more of a display. We would be motivated if we had a second one.” Hint, hint, voters!

Nickelodeon is keeping its list of A-List presenters for Saturday’s 26th Annual Kids’ Choice Awards under lock and key until its official announcement on Tuesday.

But, Celebuzz can exclusively report ahead of the announcement that Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale, Miss Congeniality’s own Sandra Bullock and Saturday Night Live alum Kristen Wiig will be joining the awards show as presenters/ possible sliming victims.

As you’ve already probably heard, Safe Haven star Josh Duhamel is hosting this year’s live festivities. Plus, Pitbull will perform “Feel This Moment” with Christina Aguilera and “C’Mon” with Ke$ha.

You have through Saturday to vote in the awards’ 22 categories, which include your favorite stars from the world of TV, movies, music and beyond, including Selena Gomez, Victoria Justice, Ross Lynch, Will Smith, Andrew Garfield and Lucas Cruikshank.

But these best friends find they aren’t really the best roommates.

Timmy Turner (Drake Bell) is celebrating the holidays with a new Nickelodeon special, A Fairly Odd Christmas, the sequel to the 2011 live action movie, A Fairly Odd Movie: Grow Up, Timmy Turner.

And in this new holiday adventure, Timmy is getting in some trouble… with Santa!

“We start where the last movie left off [and] we get our business wishful thinking,” Bell told Celebuzz when he stopped by our studios with his co-star Daniella Monet to talk about the project.

“Timmy promises to use his wishes only for the benefit of others and not to use them for himself but Timmy kind of goes overboard and starts granting everyone’s wishes,” he explained. “So even if you shouldn’t get that wish, he grants it anyways … he kind of upsets Santa because that’s really Santa’s job.”

Bell, who plays the live–action Timmy Turner explained, “Timmy has to go up to the North Pole and have a word with Santa and calamity ensues and Timmy has to end up saving Christmas.”

Bell and Monet both promised a lot of action and adventure in the new special including stunts they performed themselves on a candy cane zip line, and an Indiana Jones-type bridge.

“It was really, really worth it because I think it’s going to look so real and [it’s] our honest reactions,” said Monet. “[When] I saw the bridge, I was like ‘Oh, It’s actually very high up and a very poorly made bridge’ – our reactions were not acting.”

In addition to action and adventure, the stars also promised some developments in Timmy and Tootie’s (Monet) relationship.

“Tootie and Timmy’s relationship has blossomed in this one,” said Bell, 26. “In the first one he was kind of falling for her but wasn’t sure because he was going to lose the fairly godparents. So, this was a nice progression into seeing where they might end up.”

A Fairly Odd Christmas airs Thursday at 7 PM on Nickelodeon.

MTV has decided not to pick up freshman comedy The Inbetweeners for a second season. The show, which is based on a British series of the same name, received soft ratings when it debuted earlier this summer. “While we won’t be moving forward with another season of The Inbetweeners, we enjoyed working with the show’s creators and such a talented, funny cast,” an MTV spokesperson said. [Deadline]

Meryl Streep‘s daughter Mammie Gummer is out of a job as The CW has canceled her series, Emily Owens, M.D. The medical drama debuted to just 1.7 million total viewers and a 0.5 demo rating last month, losing out to the presidential debate. A CW insider says the network will still air the 13 episodes from its initial order. [TVLine]

Is FOX canceling The Mob Doctor? Well, not officially, but it sure looks like it as the network has decided to air the final four episodes of the freshman drama’s 13-episode run on Saturday, Dec. 29., Monday, Dec. 31, Saturday, Jan. 5 and Monday, Jan. 7. All episodes will air at 9 PM. The second season of Touch, which was set to launch on Feb. 1 has also been pushed back to Deb. 8 with a two-hour premiere. [TVLine]

The series finale of Nickelodeon’s iCarly was a mega-hit with 6.4 million total viewers for the hour-long episode. The finale, “iGoodBye” was also the top telecast for the month in all kid and tween demographics. In addition, SpongeBob SquarePants and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) both end the month as the top two animated childrens’ shows in amount of total viewers. [Nickelodeon]

Bravo’s Millionaire Matchmaker is back. This season, Patti Stanger will not only be on the hunt for her clients’ lovers but also for herself. Her quest for love will lead her to some new information about her past and her birth parents. Also searching for love on the show this season are Denise Richard’s dad, former MatchBox Twenty guitarist Adam Gaynor, Top Chef’s Just Desserts winner Yigit Pura, Olympic speedskater Allison Baver and retired NFL punter Mitch Berger. Season 6 will premiere on Thursday, Jan. 10 at 9 PM on Bravo. [Bravo]

AMC has picked up another unscripted show, Owner’s Manual, and is set to launch a night of unscripted programming on Thursdays. This night will launch on Valentine’s Day in 2013 beginning at 9 PM with the second half of Season 2 of Comic Book Men, followed by the premieres of Freakshow and Immortalized. Owner’s Manual, which will debut in late 2013 will focus on the debate between those who look at the owner’s manual and those who do not. [Deadline]

While the finale of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars: All Stars hit a season high in the ratings with close to 16.6 million viewers, it was down 27 percent from last year’s finale. Meanwhile, CBS won the night overall with 19.6 million viewers for NCIS and 14.3 million for NCIS: Los Angeles. [TV Guide]

FX has set the return dates for early 2013. The Charlie Sheen-led Anger Management will kick off its new season on Jan. 17 at 9 PM with a regular time slot of 9:30 pm the following week. The show will lead a new comedy block, which also includes Archer and Totally Biased W. Kamau Bell. BrandX with Russel Brand will join the block on Feb. 7.  Season 4 of Justified will begin on Tuesday, Jan. 8 at 10 PM. [Zap2it]

The nominees for the 19^th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards will be broadcast live on TNT on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 9 AM ET/6 AM PT. Presenting the nominations will be Cougar Town star Busy Philipps and Private Practice star Taye Diggs. The announcement will also be shown live on the web on tnt.tv and tbs.com. [SAG Awards]

After years of success on the internet, TV and movies with the character of Fred Figglehorn, Lucas Cruikshank returns with an equally spastic, yet more naive character on his new Nickelodeon show, Marvin Marvin.

On the sitcom, Cruikshank plays the title role, a boy alien who takes on human form and lives with an American family as he hides from his planet’s enemies. Every episode finds Marvin trying to adapt to human life, relationships and cultural ideas he finds strange but we may take for granted.

“It’s just about him fitting in,” Cruikshank tells Celebuzz when he visited our Hollywood studio earlier this week.

“It’s already so hard being a teenager as a human,” he continues. “It’s awkward for everyone — at least it was for me — but on top of that he’s also an alien. So, it’s just about all of that. It’s been so much fun to film.”

The actor tells us that Fred hasn’t gone away forever, but that Marvin Marvin feels right for him at this time.

“I’ve been doing Fred since I was 13 and I’m 19 now, so I think it’s about time to try something new and just explore other things I can do, as well,” he explains.

Degrassi airs its two-part Season 12 finale on Tuesday and the show’s going out with an emotional bang.

Transgender activist and Dancing With the Stars alum, Chaz Bono, drops in to possibly change the course of one of the show’s most complicated relationships. And Celebuzz has an exclusive sneak peek.

You’ve probably already guessed that Bono will have some words of wisdom for Adam (Jordan Todosey) in dealing with his rocky romance with Becky (Sarah Fisher).

Things took a turn for the worse after Becky told her parents that Adam is trans. They encouraged them to go to brainwash camp, um, therapy. While at first she was annoyed, Becky buckled to the pressure. But, it looks like she has seen the error of her ways. Will Adam give her a second chance?

Bono guest stars as a judge in a Battle of the Bands competition, in which Adam’s band, WhisperHug, is competing.

It’s almost time for fans to say goodbye to the crew behind the hit series, iCarly. On Friday, Nov. 23 at 8 PM, Nick airs the final episode titled “iGoodbye.” And Celebuzz has the exclusive first look at the episode.

Nick will begin airing the first promo from the series finale episode on Saturday night, but you can take a look at it right now above.

Judging from the new promo, there will be some pretty heart wrenching moments for the crew behind the “iCarly” webcast. And there will be a surprise guest. For the first time, fans will meet Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) and Spencer’s (Jerry Trainor) dad… But, Nick is keeping the actor’s identity under wraps.

We don’t know much about Carly and Spencer’s father, Steven Shay. For the show’s six seasons, the U.S. Air Force officer has been stationed on a submarine. So, it will be very interesting to finally meet the man. He has to be a pretty dynamic person to have Carly and Spencer for kids.

Nickelodeon’s iCarly crew meets up with the guys of The History Channel reality series Pawn Stars on Saturday’s new episode at 8 PM.

How do the two groups find themselves thrown together? In Las Vegas, silly. Well, there’s more to the story than that on the episode titled, “iLost My Head in Vegas.”

See, Sam’s (Jennette McCurdy) mom has gotten herself into a pickle while attending a Celine Dion concert. And being the good friends that they are, the gang goes to Las Vegas to help her. That entails pawning some of their prized possessions for cash. Enter the Pawn Stars guys.

Of course, things get even more complicated from there when Gibby (Noah Munck) gets conned and throws off the plan to help Sam’s mother.

And by the way, Jerry Trainor, who plays Spencer, directed this episode.

In the newest episode “Eternum,” the trio of teenage ninjas are faced with a dilemma when a twisted psychiatrist lures the group to his asylum, hoping to perform behavioral experiments on them. Make sure to see if the teens are able to perform some reverse psychology on the doctor!

To the joy of nostalgic twentysomethings everywhere, Nickelodeon has brought back the classics! Debuting this past Monday, July 25^th, TeenNick will re-air their most beloved ‘90s series on weeknights from 12AM until 2AM.  The programming block is appropriately named The ‘90s Are All That, and Kenan Thompson, former All That star and one-half of the comedy show Kenan & Kel, will host the retro line-up.

The ‘90s shows, which include classics such as Doug, The Secret World of Alex Mack and Rocko’s Modern Life, debuted to record ratings for the channel. Among viewers from 18 to 34 years old, TeenNick’s primary late night demographic, the program attracted ratings approximately 850% higher than the channel’s previous average. What a hit!

Christmas is right around the corner and Miranda Cosgrove, Big Time Rush and, yes, Fabio are gearing up to spread the good cheer with a duet for a holiday special.

The upcoming hour-long Big Time Rush episode will feature an extra-special musical number between the two Nickelodeon powerhouses. In a sneak peek music video, Miranda and the boys of Big Time Rush sing their own version of Mariah Carey‘s Christmas classic, “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Will Miley Cyrus be celebrating her miley-stone 18th birthday with a new boyfriend?

According to Hollywood Life, Miley, 17, has been “hanging out and getting closer” with 18-year-old Avan Jogia, one of the stars of the Nickelodeon series Victorious and a close pal of the show’s star, Victoria Justice. Miley and Avan, a Canada native of Indian descent, have reportedly been dating since October, meeting for lunch and getting together at a Halloween party.

Avan didn’t deny something was up in a recent interview with Tiger Beat, saying, “We’re hanging out, but I don’t really have to much to say about that.”

As adorable as this budding couple might be, Miley is fresh off a breakup from Liam Hemsworth and still coping with her parents’ divorce, which means she might not be settling down with Avan.

“Miley wants to be officially single for her birthday (Nov. 23) and just have fun with whomever she hangs out with,” a source tells Hollywood Life. “She is for sure all about being young and having fun.”
