Selena Gomez is ready to break away from her sweetheart status.

The former Disney star seductively graced Nylon Magazine’s February issue, donning a black cap, blue basket weave basketball-inspired jersey by designer Jeremy Scott with an itsy-bitsy bikini underneath.

The 20-year-old starlet has grown accustomed to the comfort of a two-piece swimsuit. She did, after all, prance around in a skimpy bathing suit as she channeled her wild side for her upcoming flick Spring Breakers, also starring her close pals Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Benson.

“It was always us four girls. We’d go to our favorite restaurants, we’d go to the movies — Ashley and I saw The Hunger Games. We went shopping, we went on boat rides, we slept over in each other’s hotel rooms. It was really fun!” she told the magazine.

The actress-singer also opened up about her tight friendship with Taylor Swift.

“We both experienced the same things at the same time. But we’ve never once talked about our industry. She just became the person I’d go to for an issue with my family or boyfriend. It’s so hard to trust girls, so I’m lucky to have her,” she explained.

In the rest of the photo shoot, Gomez flaunted her signature sweet style, playing it cool in a range of eye-catching ensembles, which included patterned jackets and a pale pink frock.

Despite her recent split with ex Justin Bieber, Gomez isn’t letting heartbreak stop her from having a little fun. Last Sunday, she took a glamorous turn in a shimmery gold Atelier Versace frock at the Golden Globes after parties, even reportedly sparking a new romance with Josh Hutcherson.

“I’m having fun,” she said about her love life. (via Us Weekly) “At the end of the day, love is such a normal thing, and everyone deals with it. Just because it’s a different lifestyle doesn’t change the meaning of what I’ve been raised on, which is fairy tales.”

Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 2 star Ashley Greene sidestepped questions about her costars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, at a promotional party in Hollywood Tuesday night.

Greene was the first lead cast member of Twilight to take to the red carpet following news of her costars’ split.

However, while the 25-year-old was happy to face fans and the media at Tuesday’s party at Hollywood club Blok to toast her August cover issue of Nylon magazine, she remained tight-lipped about Stewart’s affair with director Rupert Sanders.

What would Greene talk about on Tuesday night then?

A media representative was overheard instructing reporters on the red carpet not to ask Greene about Pattinson and Stewart — lest the Breaking Dawn — Part 2 star be pulled from the carpet — according to a partygoer.

However, Celebuzz did manage to get the stunning vampire talking about the pressure of being a part of such a massive film franchise as Twilight.

“I don’t think there is actually pressure, because it is all just kind of love,” Greene told Celebuzz.

“There are definitely people coming at you and people supporting you.”

Greene, in a beautiful, form-fitting peach dress, has a long relationship with Nylon — she posed for the magazine’s Young Hollywood issue in 2010.

Greene did give the media a little taste of what they can expect from the upcoming the Breaking Dawn — Part 2.

“A lot of action,” she said.

“That’s what I think everyone has been wanting to see.

“It’s a lot of the same thing with [Greene's character, Alice Cullen] being that supportive rock for Edward and Bella. And not really choosing sides. We always throw in a little fight sequence. And she has very graceful, very fun fight sequences. So you’ll see that.”

While one video cameramen tried to ask Greene about Pattinson, 26, and Stewart, 22, on her way to the red carpet — she did not respond allowing her escort to speak for her with a ”No, thank you.”

Greene also said that she pushed herself physically for the November 2012 blockbuster — sometimes too much, perhaps.

“I trained a lot even when I wasn’t supposed to,” Greene said, laughing. “I kind of messed around too much, to the production’s dismay.”

When do you think Twilight stars will talk about Pattinson and Stewart’s real-life love story?

Emma Stone seems to be popping up everywhere these days—not that we’re complaining.

The Easy A beauty and possible Spider-Man 4 love interest pretties up the October issue of Nylon magazine, flaunting a variety of looks and offering up some interesting tidbits to interviewer Luke Crissel. Such as the assertion that her consistent inclusion in “World’s Sexiest Women” lists is “ridiculous”:

“That’s just ridiculous…Now that you’ve hung out with me a few times you know how ridiculous that is.  All my friends and family are like, ‘That is the funniest thing I have ever seen.’ ”

We’re guessing that Stone holds the minority opinion on that topic. But feel free to click through the photo gallery and decide for yourself.

Gossip Girl beauty Jessica Szohr serves as the cover girl for the September 2010 Nylon, which is also the magazine’s annual “TV Issue.” Photographed by Valerie Phillips and styled by renowned celebrity-dressers Anda and Masha, Szohr—who’s rumored to be back in “on-again” mode with her co-star and sometimes boyfriend, Ed Westwick—flashes a lot of gam on the cover.

Szohr reveals a lot more in the pages of the magazine—such as what the show might have in store for viewers as it enters its upcoming fourth season: 

“I keep saying they have to bring in other characters because how many times can six characters date and hook up with each other before it gets real old?”

The sexy star poses on the “It Girl” issue of the magazine to promote her new flick, Jennifer’s Body.

Fox complains to the mag:

“I think that I’m really overexposed. I was part of a movie that [the studio] wanted to make sure would make $700 million, so they oversaturated the media with their stars, I don’t want to be in magazines every week and on the Internet everyday. I don’t want to have people get completely sick of me before I’ve ever even done something legitimate.”

Stephen Moyer is definitely a lucky guy.

The True Blood star’s fiance Anna Paquin appears in the newest issue of Nylon magazine and looks super hot in the photospread.

Paquin, who appears nude on the popular Vampire show, told the mag “I don’t think a naked body is particularly shocking or interesting… It’s not the culture I was raised in.  I was not brought up in the United States.  I don’t share the [attitude] that you can have graphic violence, but – God forbid – you see someone’s nipples.”
