Oprah Winfrey is putting the “O” in EE-I-EE-I-O.

The media mogul has opened the doors to her Maui, Hawaii farm in the June 2013 issue of O Magazine, showing off her 780 acres of lush terrain in the gorgeous editorial spread.

“It felt like we were not using the land to its ultimate potential and purpose and giving back to the people of the land, so right now, we’re growing all these vegetables,” Winfrey, 59, says of the produce her farm grows.

“We tested our soil and enriched our soil and we have have some of the richest… I mean our soil is like chocolate around here.”

However, a photographic tour of her agricultural retreat is the tip of the iceberg: Winfrey is also hosting a contest in which loyal readers can win a chance to tour the farm with the Queen of TV and enjoy a meal prepared by her personal chef.

Um, our mouths are salivating.

The Weinstein Co. on Tuesday released the first official trailer for The Butler, Lee Daniels’ historical epic about a servant (Forest Whitaker) who worked in the White House through multiple presidencies.

In order to accurately portray the story, Daniels (the man behind 2009′s Precious) had to enlist a bunch of famous Hollywood faces to play a bunch of famous political figures. On the list: Robin Williams as Dwight D. Eisenhower; James Marsden as John F. Kennedy; and, in a twist of irony, Jane Fonda as Nancy Reagan.

The whole thing looks like it could go the route of Bobby, Emilio Estevez’s 2006 disaster that had actors like Sharon Stone, Shia LaBeouf and Ashton Kutcher reacting to the assassination of Robert F. Kennedy.

But, hey, at least Oprah’s in this one.

Perhaps that you did not know that Free People, Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters are all the same company. And perhaps you did not know that together the three stores sell nearly $3 billion worth of ironic t-shirts, ironic books and ironic home furnishings each year. But if you’re shopping at Urban Outfitters, you almost certainly did not know how the company’s executives are describing you to the company’s investors.

Earlier this week, BuzzFeed published highlights from meetings in which the company described its customers as “upscale homeless” and living a “cloistered existence.” These are the celebrities who best represent the “Urban Outfitters brand.”

Nothing will stand between Beyoncé and the stage — not even her 1-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

After welcoming her first child with hip-hop mogul hubby Jay-Z in January 2012, Queen B put her post-baby body on display as she performed a three-night stint in May in Atlantic City.

“I did a show three months after I gave birth, which was really crazy,” Beyoncé tells Oprah Winfrey in their much-anticipated sitdown, which will air Saturday on OWN. “I had clearly never given birth and I didn’t know I would gain…57 pounds.”

But the pregnancy weight couldn’t keep the multi-platinum Grammy-winning superstar from her passion. “I really wanted to know, ya know? I feel so fortunate to do my job,” she gushed. “I love my job. I love singing. I love the way it feels.”

In the Oprah’s Next Chapter episode, Beyoncé, 31, also dishes on daughter Blue Ivy, her heartbreaking miscarriage, the making of her HBO documentary Life Is But a Dream — which has received mixed reviews from critics — professionally parting ways with her father Matthew Knowles, and her four-year marriage to Jay-Z.

“I would not be the woman I am if I did not go home to that man,” Bey tells Winfrey, adding that Hova has helped her “on so many levels” during their relationship. “It just gives me such a foundation.”

“We were friends first, for a year and a half before we went on any date — on the phone for a year and a half,” she recalls. “And that foundation is so important in a relationship. Just to have someone that you just like is so important and someone that is honest.”

Madea’s moving on up!

Funnyman Tyler Perry has sold his Hollywood Hills home for $11.5 million after buying the stunning property for $9.6 million in 2006.

The mansion, which is more than 9,000 square-feet, offers incredible views of the city and the Pacific Ocean and includes its own gym, a sauna, and a nightclub complete with a bar and disco ball.

The home, which sits on a rare third of an acre, also comes with a billiards room and swimming pool. And for the wino at heart, the mansion offers a wine cellar to store prized wines and liquors.

Perry, who is worth more than $400 million, won’t be homeless after dropping his LA pad.

The 43-year-old longtime pal of Oprah Winfrey mainly resides in Atlanta, where he can be near his production company Tyler Perry Studios.

Is TV ready for all this star power?

On an upcoming episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter, Beyonce and host Oprah Winfrey are sitting down to discuss the singer’s upcoming HBO documentary Beyonce: Life is But a Dream this Saturday.

The usually-private pop star is opening up for the first time about the making of the film, her famous Super Bowl halftime show and much more.

Beyonce, who won her 17th Grammy award Sunday night, has a long friendship with the media mogul and will no doubt open up about how she’s learning to balance motherhood with her constantly rising stardom.

This week, Beyonce also graces the cover of March’s issue of Vogue and looks stunning in a two-toned black and white ensemble.

In the article, the mother of Blue Ivy revealed that her baby daughter is her “homey” and “best friend.”

She also explained how much more appreciative she is of her body after giving birth.

“I just feel my body means something completely different. I feel a lot more confident about it,” she told the mag. “Even being heavier, thinner, whatever. I feel a lot more like a woman. More feminine, more sensual. And no shame.”

Happy birthday to the queen of all media!

Oprah Winfrey turns 59 on Tuesday, and as the most influential person, like, ever, she’s been guiding, entertaining and wowing us since she first moved to Chicago to start her hosting career in the early ’80s.

After nationally launching The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1986, the mega-mogul has continued to blow us away, year after year.  Oprah’s show is the highest-rated program of its kind in history (no big deal), and has created its own genre of intimate confessional conversations.

But between interviews with Michael Jackson and Tom Cruise, who infamously jumped for joy over his relationship with Katie Holmeson her couch, Oprah has also created a name, and a world, beyond her television show.

The media proprietor owns her own production company (Harpo), co-founded Oxygen Media, created O, The Oprah Magazine in one of the most successful magazine launches in recent history, shares her opinions with her book club, which is the largest in the world, and has formed her own channel, OWN.  To say she’s kind of a big deal is the understatement of the century.

So to celebrate the queen’s big day, we’re taking a look back at Oprah’s career timeline and her most memorable moments.

The motorbike rider dubbed “Motoman” — who Lance Armstrong told Oprah Winfrey had supplied him EPO vials during the 1999 Tour de France — has told Celebuzz the allegations against him are not true.

“I was not “Motoman” and did not supply Lance Armstrong with EPO,” Frenchman Philippe Maire, previously identified as the shamed cyclists’ courier, said in an exclusive interview.

In last Thursday night’s television confessional, Armstrong conceded the notorious “Motoman” story was indeed true; that a rider on a moped would scoot around France during the 1999 Tour and deliver drugs to Armstrong and his U.S. Postal Service team-mates under the cover of darkness.

It was Armstrong’s former friend Tyler Hamilton who first to blow the whistle on “Motoman,” who he said delivered the banned blood-boosting drug EPO, codenamed “Edgar”, during races to ensure Armstrong and no team member could be caught out with it in their possession.

Despite being thrust back into the international spotlight as a result of Armstrong’s mea culpa — an interview that was watched by 4.3 million people — Maire said he had no ill feeling toward the former Tour de France winner, whom he met when he was in his early twenties.

The pair hasn’t had contact for a number of years, he insisted.

“I still have a lot of respect for him the people that come to my store and work here do as well – we cannot taint his legacy, he is still a human being,” said Maire, who owns a bike shop near Nice on the Côte d’Azur.

“I still see Lance Armstrong the same way. We have a saying in France, ‘We can’t make a race horse out of a donkey’.”

He said he remembers Armstrong, 41, as being “professional, serious, normal and ambitious.”

In the 202 pages of damning evidence against Armstrong compiled by the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), it was claimed “Motoman” delivered EPO in syringes directly to the riders.

“His (Motoman) qualities were to be tested because he was also to play the role of drug trafficker,” said the USADA report.

“His role was to follow the Tour on his motorcycle and deliver EPO to “Pepe” (Pepe Marti), officially the trainer but also known by the riders as “the courier”.

In The Secret Race: Inside the Hidden World of the Tour de France: Doping, Cover-ups and Winning at All Costs, Hamilton detailed how the doping conspiracy was orchestrated:

We were standing in Lance’s kitchen when he lined out the plan: he would pay Philippe to follow the Tour on his motorcycle, carrying a thermos full of EPO and a prepaid cell phone.

When we needed Edgar (EPO), Philippe would zip through the Tour’s traffic and make a drop-off.

Simple. Quick — in and out. No risk. To be discreet, Philippe would be supplying only the climbers, the ones who needed it most and would provide the biggest bang for the buck: Lance, Kevin Livingston, and me. Los Amigos del Edgar.

From that moment on, Philippe wasn’t Philippe the handyman anymore. Lance, Kevin, and I called him Motoman.

“Look, Lance never admitted taking drugs to me,” Maire told Celebuzz.

“I do not know why Lance chose now to say that he was doping himself – maybe the pressure made him breakdown or the large amounts of money spent in law suits led him to talk.

“It is too bad that all the money spent in these lawsuits was not used to fight against doping and to prevent young amateurs and professionals from using it.”

Sheryl Crow appeared sympathetic to her ex fiancé Lance Armstrong when she sat down with Entertainment Tonight — a move that has infuriated one of the shamed cyclist’s chief critics.

Betsy Andreu, the wife of Armstrong’s former U.S. Postal Service teammate Frankie Andreu, last night reacted with anger to Crow’s interview with host Nancy O’Dell, in which the singer said: “I think that honesty is always the best bet and that the truth will set you free.”

The pair dated from 2003 until 2006, when they broke off their engagement. During the relationship, Armstrong rode in the Tour de France twice — and won both times.

In an exclusive interview, Betsy told Celebuzz: “For Sheryl Crow to go on television now and make these statements just does not cut it. She needs to be honest, plain and simple.”

A cautious Crow, 50, did not address whether she knew about Armstrong’s use of steroids, human growth hormone, cortisone and EPO, even though she was reportedly in a room when he’d attempted to orchestrate part of his elaborate doping cover-up.

As we revealed, the nine-time Grammy winner was named twice in affidavits submitted to the United States Anti Doping Association which blew the whistle on the seven-time Tour de France winner Armstrong’s performance enhancing drug use.

According to the Andreus, the disgraced champion summoned Frankie to a room around 2004 in a bid to persuade him to convince his Betsy to sign a statement retracting her claim that Armstrong told doctors treating him for cancer that he’d taken performance enhancing drugs.

Frankie wrote in a signed affidavit submitted to investigators:

“Lance called me to his room to discuss the situation. He told me that Bill Stapleton (Armstrong’s agent) wanted to talk to me about the hospital room and have my wife sign a statement of support for Lance saying the hospital incident did not happen. His girlfriend at the time, Sheryl Crow, was in the room and I felt uncomfortable talking about this in front of her so I did not say much.”

Reacting to Crow’s silence during her interview, Betsy pleaded with the singer to come clean.

“Peoples lives were decimated by Lance Armstrong and women like Sheryl Crow just stood by and were silent… that makes me angry,” she said.

“If she does know about Lance Armstrong’s drug taking, then she should come clean and take an affidavit about it.”

The questions from O’Dell were not the most serious Crow has faced: Previously, federal agents reportedly quizzed Crow about her ex lover’s drug use, though it’s unknown what she told them.

Betsy said she believes Crow made the decision not to tell all – publicly, at least – because she knows the scandal has become an “embarrassment” to her.

“Through this, my reputation has stayed intact,” she said. “Nobody can say that I turned a blind eye to what was going-on.

“A lot of women including Lance’s former wife covered up what they knew.

“Sheryl Crow is financially a very successful person, but she should now be honest. My message to her and these others is, ‘Thanks very much for doing nothing.’”

Lance Armstrong‘s doping confession heard ’round the world has alienated fans and ruined million-dollar sponsorship deals, but will the woman closest to him also turn her back on the shamed cyclist?

According to her father, the answer is no.

“Listen, things obviously went haywire for him, but my daughter is a very strong person,” David Hansen told Celebuzz of his offspring — and Armstrong’s girlfriend — Anna.  “I think she will probably stand by him.”

Armstrong, 41, and Anna, 10 years his junior, began dating in 2008 after meeting by way of his charity work . They went on to have two children together: a son, Maxwell, who was born in 2009, and a daughter, Olivia Marie, born in 2010.

Now, after the cyclist’s doping confession to Oprah Winfrey, the couple have reportedly fled to Hawaii with their children to escape the press and paparazzi. But regardless of the hasty retreat, Anna’s father believes his daughter can cope with the pressure.

“I think she will do really well,” he said from his home in Colorado. “My daughter is a very strong-willed and independent woman. When she was younger, I would take both Anna and her brother back-packing and camping, and she is very tough.

“She always had a positive ‘get up and go’ attitude, and that will serve her well now. Anna is very level-headed.”

On Thursday, Armstrong finally came clean about his years of doping to Winfrey, admitting that he doped in some form for each of his seven Tour de France victories, though he maintained that the last time that he “crossed that line” was in 2005.

And what did Anna make of the revelations? Her father believes she’d find them disturbing because of her aversion to drugs.

“At the moment, I am trying to reflect on what Lance said, although some of it is troubling because I know my daughter would never take or even consider using drugs,” he said.

Luckily, Anna will have her father’s full support, should she need it.

“Obviously, I will be there for my daughter if she needs me because we are a very close-knit family, but I am trying to give her some space just now because they both have a lot to handle,” he said. ”

“Anna will talk things through with Lance and make up her own mind about what he has to say. We last spoke three weeks ago and she was happy and doing fine.”

And, in case you’re wondering, David added: “She did not mention that he was going to confess to Oprah.”

Armstrong was previously married to Kristin Richard from 1998 to 2003. The couple has a son, Luke Armstrong, 13, and 11-year-old twin daughters Isabelle and Grace.

He also had high-profile relationships with singer Sheryl Crow, from 2003 to 2006, and actress Kate Hudson in 2008.

Since his public downfall last year, Lance Armstrong has faced many, many critics. But facing his own children over the holidays was a whole different bike route.

During part two of Armstrong’s revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey, which aired Friday night on OWN, things got personal — and emotional.

“First I want to tell you what happened. When this all really started, I saw my son defending me and saying, ‘That’s not true. What you’re saying about my dad is not true,’” he told Winfrey in the exclusive sit-down.

“And it almost goes to this question of why now? He can’t — yeah. That’s when I knew I had to tell him. And he never asked me. He never said, ‘Dad, is this true?’ He trusted me.”

“I said, ‘Listen, there’s been a lot of questions about your dad. My career, whether I doped or did not dope. I’ve always denied that and I’ve always been ruthless and defiant about that, you guys have seen that, that’s probably why you trusted me on it.’ Which makes it even sicker.”

“I said, ‘I want you to know that it’s true.’”

Armstrong also told his 11-year-old twin daughters Isabelle Rose and Grace Elisabeth. Along with Luke, the twins are Armstrong’s children with his first wife Kristin.

“They didn’t say much. They didn’t say, ‘But wait, dad.’ They just accepted it. And I told Luke, I said, ‘Don’t defend me anymore. Don’t.’”

Armstrong noted that it was Kristin who asked him to stay clean ahead of his 2009 comeback at the Tour de France.

“It was a serious ask. It was a serious commitment. She gave me her blessing. If she would have said no, I don’t like this idea, I would not have done it. But I gave her my word, and I did stick to it.”

He finished third, but the feat has since been voided.

During part one of his interview with Winfrey, the famous cyclist admitted to using “banned drugs and blood transfusions” in all of his seven Tour de France wins, the most recent being in 2005. In October 2012, Armstrong was formally stripped of his seven Tour titles.

On Thursday, USADA CEO Travis T. Tygart released the following statement in response to the admission:

“Tonight, Lance Armstrong finally acknowledged that his cycling career was built on a powerful combination of doping and deceit. His admission that he doped throughout his career is a small step in the right direction. But if he is sincere in his desire to correct his past mistakes, he will testify under oath about the full extent of his doping activities.”

So what could happen to Armstrong in the name of the law, following his televised confession?

“There is nothing but a downside for him in terms of giving that interview,” criminal lawyer Darren Kavinoky told Celebuzz this week. “Some of that may be cushioned because of the statute of limitations.”

On the criminal side, Kavinoky said Armstrong could face everything from conspiracy to embezzlement or fraud, or even racketeering because it’s a business-related crime.

“On the side of fighting about money, he could be forced to write a check for about a zillion dollars,” Kavinoky said, adding that things could get ugly if someone like Floyd Landis came after Armstrong.

As for all those sponsors?

According to Kavinoky, “Whether or not they would actually [sue] would depend on their own PR desires. They may want to go after that money because we are going to draw a hard line, we’re anti cheating and this is what we do . . . from a legal stand point they will have a claim based on the fraud.”

Still, there are some benefits from doing an interview with someone like Winfrey, Kavinoky says.

“Let’s face it, as much as we love to build people up, we love to see them fall and then we love to see them resurrected again.”

“The world loves a comeback story.”

Lance Armstrong’s dad watched his son confess to millions that he took performance-enhancing drugs during his years as the most decorated champion in cycling history. But unlike the rest of the world, his emotions came from a paternal place.

“It was rather tough to watch. It was very emotional for me because I still remember the little boy,” Terry Armstrong told Celebuzz.

In the no-holds-barred interview with Oprah Winfrey on Thurdsay, the shamed cyclist stopped back-pedaling as he had done for years, admitting “I was trying to win at all costs” – an admission Terry is still trying to come to terms with.

“The thing that was hardest for me when I was coaching him in Little League and football, is I instilled in him the foundation of winning,” Terry said.

After over a decade of adamant denials, Lance, who was adopted by Terry when he was three years old, answered “yes” to not only using blood-enhancing hormone EPO, but also testosterone, cortisone, human growth hormone, and illegal blood transfusions and other blood doping, all of which began back in the mid-1990s.

His father, whose been estranged from the now-disgraced sports legend for years since divorcing his mother Linda, had hoped to see the genuine side of his son shine through, which has come under mixed reviews in the hours after Part 1 of the exclusive interview, which drew a record 4.3 million viewers to the OWN network.

But the sincerity was lacking.

“The thing people will probably look at and say is there’s nothing sincere there,” Terry said.

“When you’ve been at that high of a level for so long it’s hard to come back down.

“In the best way he could do, he was doing it. His persona is so high in his mind it’s hard to come across humble,” he added.

“If you’re controlling everything you want to control, your answers and not come across as vulnerable. But I think people were hoping for vulnerability and they’re not going to get it.”

However, Lance didn’t let himself off the hook, calling himself “deeply flawed”, even going so far as to try to offer an explanation for his decade-long deceit.

“We grew up as fighters,” he said, referring to his mother. “We always felt like we had our backs against the walls.”

This defensive description took Terry by surprise.

“When I heard that I thought of the word ‘spin.’ If someone just looks at the things he was afforded growing up, the conditions he lived in, the houses, that’s not surviving,” Terry said. “He never did without anything, but that doesn’t sell well.

“But Linda and Lance have spun that story for this long. The spin is that they were single and had to scrounge around for money. That’s not true.”

In a previous exclusive interview with Celebuzz, Terry said he believed the American public would forgive his son if, in fact, he confessed the truth – which he did. And for that, Terry is proud.

“I wanted him to answer the facts. He did answer the facts,” he said. “He just didn’t do it the way people wanted him to.

“I think the public is trying to sense how they would do it and it’s hard for a public figure to do that.

“At this stage it’s not him.”

For now, Terry will save his conclusions till the very end.

“I want to get it all. I still have to see what the ending is,” he said. “It will be interesting to see how the second part comes across.”

Abrams and Paramount are jumping on the Lance Armstrong bandwagon-slash-bicycle. Abrams and his production company Bad Robot will produce the film, based upon the proposal for a book that has yet to be written or released – “Cycle of Lies: The Fall of Lance Armstrong” by New York Times sports columnist Juliet Macur. Hollywood Reporter first reported the news Friday morning.

No word yet on whether Abrams will direct, though we suspect his dance card will be pretty full for the foreseeable future.

Macur has long covered the Armstrong story for the Times and pitched the book back in November, well before Armstrong’s scheduled confession to Oprah this week. Her book will be published in June of this year.

Two other projects about the once beloved bicyclist have come and gone in recent months, leaving the Abrams sports pic at the top of a very popular hill.

The first part of Oprah Winfrey’s interview with Lance Armstrong on Thursday, in which he admitted to using performance-enhancing drugs, nabbed big numbers for OWN.

The much-anticipated special episode of Oprah’s Next Chapter attracted 3.2 million viewers to its 9 PM premiere and an additional 1.1 million viewers to the repeat airing at 10:30 PM.

The special also attracted the network’s highest male audience ever ranking No. 1 for males in all demographics, including the advertiser-coveted 18-49-year-old demo.

The interview ranks second only to Winfrey’s interview with the late Whitney Houston’s family in March 2012, which earned 3.5 million viewers to its first airing.

After years of denying doping allegations, Lance Armstrong finally has all the answers.

The disgraced cyclist confessed to using “banned drugs and blood transfusions” in all of his seven Tour de France victories to Oprah Winfrey in an exclusive sit-down interview, which aired Thursday night on OWN. And in the second part of their chat, Armstrong continues his no-holds-barred revelations.

In a one-minute sneak peek, Winfrey grilled the 41-year-old (who began using performance-enhancing drugs in the mid-1990s) on his former sponsorship with Nike. The shoe and apparel company terminated its endorsement deal with Armstrong in October 2012.

“Nike called, they’re out,” he revealed about his sponsors, adding, “It was a $75 million day…gone.”

Armstrong went on to discuss the “most humbling moment” in his downfall: his disassociation with the Livestrong Foundation — a non-profit organization providing help with those diagnosed with cancer — revealing the exact details of his conversation with his former colleagues.

“We need you to consider stepping down for yourself,” he said they told him.

While the world may have turned against him, the father of five choked up about his lone supporter — 13-year-old son Luke.

“You heard that he was defending you. What did you say to him?” Winfrey asked as Armstrong was at a loss for words. Meanwhile, the former Olympian (his bronze medal was also stripped from his resume) revealed that his mother Linda is “a wreck.”

In Part 1, Armstrong admitted his “mythic, perfect story” was “one big lie” as he detailed his doping methods during his 2009 and 2010 comeback, hiding the truth in order to maintain the “momentum” of his fame.

The second part of the interview further delved into his future in cycling and his exact motives for speaking out.

“What do you say to the millions of people who are wearing Livestrong bracelets, to those millions of people who believed?” Winfrey asked.

After over a decade of adamant denials, Lance Armstrong finally came clean about using performance-enhancing drugs during his celebrated cycling career in a confessional interview with Oprah Winfrey.

“I view this situation as one big lie that I repeated a lot of times,” Armstrong said in the much-anticipated 90-minute broadcast on OWN Thursday night, in which he admitted unequivocally to drugging during his seven Tour de France wins. “I know the truth. The truth isn’t what was out there. The truth isn’t what I said. I’m a flawed character, as I well know. All the fault and all the blame here falls on me.”

Did he use the blood-enhancing hormone EPO? Testosterone? Cortisone? Human growth hormone? Illegal blood transfusions and other blood doping? Armstrong answered a simple “yes” to all, revealing it all began back in the mid-1990s.

“People who believed in me and believed me have every right to feel betrayed,” said Armstrong, formerly cycling’s most decorated champion. “I will spend the rest of my life trying to earn back trust and apologize to people.”

Armstrong’s confessions comes after the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) released a damning 200-page report revealing Armstrong’s deep involvement in the “most sophisticated, professionalized and successful doping program that sport has ever seen,” USADA chief executive Travis Tygart said in a statement in October.

On the basis of the findings, the International Cycling Union (UCI) stripped Armstrong of his seven Tour titles and banned him from the sport for life back. “Lance Armstrong has no place in cycling,” said the union’s president, Pat McQuaid, according to CNN. Soon after, Armstrong stepped down as chairman of Livestrong, the cancer-fighting charity he founded 15 years ago, and lost longtime sponsors, like Nike.

Back in February 2012, the federal government dropped its criminal investigation into whether Armstrong committed fraud through his doping scheme. Though no explanation was provided, Armstrong saw it as a sign that he had finally won his years-long fight against such allegations. ”I thought I was out of the woods,” he told Winfrey.

But then the USADA continued to investigate the cyclist. “I’d do anything to go back to that day,” Armstrong said of the day USADA gave him the chance to come clean. “Because I wouldn’t fight, I wouldn’t sue them. I’d listen.”

Now the USADA feels Armstrong’s confession is a “small step in the right direction,” the agency said in a statement. “Tonight, Lance Armstrong finally acknowledged that his cycling career was built on a powerful combination of doping and deceit. His admission that he doped throughout his career is a small step in the right direction. But if he is sincere in his desire to correct his past mistakes, he will testify under oath about the full extent of his doping activities.”

Livestrong, the cancer-fighting charity Armstrong founded 15 years ago, said in a statement it was “disappointed by the news that Lance Armstrong misled people during and after his cycling career, including us. [But] even in the wake of our disappointment, we also express our gratitude to Lance as a survivor for the drive, devotion and spirit he brought to serving cancer patients and the entire cancer community.”

A second portion of the Armstrong-Winfrey interview will air on OWN Friday, Jan. 18, at 9 PM ET.

This may not be Lance Armstrong’s day. After losing his seven Tour de France titles last October, it was announced on Thursday that he has now been stripped of his Olympic bronze medal, as well.

The news breaks just ahead of the cyclist’s much-publicized interview with Oprah Winfrey airing Thursday and Friday on OWN.

He’s expected to admit (more or less) to having lied about using performance-enhancing drugs, an admission that will further tarnish his reputation as the world’s fastest man on two wheels in the world, who became an inspiration to many after winning his battle with cancer.

For better or worse, he decided that this was the right time to do the interview – another notch in Winfrey’s belt. But, can he break our list of Winfrey’s most groundbreaking interviews of all time? It would be a tough feat.

1. Tom Cruise is crazy in love. Where do I start? This interview birthed so many uh-mazing animated gifs. Cruise’s leap onto Winfrey’s couch (showed us his crazy); his repeated expression of affection for Katie Holmes, “I’m in love, I’m in love” (especially in light of what we know now about their relationship) and the constant laughing (yep, he’s an actor).

2. Tyler Perry admits to being beaten and sexually abused as a child. This was powerful stuff from the guy who rolls movies out as if they were on a conveyor belt. The media giant not only announced that he had suffered abuse from his father and multiple adults, and later the show also filled its audience entirely with men who had similar stories to tell.

3. Iyanla Vanzant: “There’s some crazy that a pill can’t fix.” Oh, now this was an event. I know you all like celebrity feuds, I see the traffic on any article about one. And this was a doozie. One of the show’s former weekly guest hosts, Vanzant claims Winfrey reneged on an offer for her own talk show. The relationship really fell apart when Vanzant went into talks with Barbara Walters for a show, then used that as leverage against the media mogul. And, “O” don’t play that game.

4. Sarah Ferguson begs for forgiveness after bribery scandal. The Duchess of York appeared on the show right after being caught accepting a bribe from an undercover reporter in exchange for access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew. It was a new low for Ferguson and Winfrey took the drill to her.

5. Barack Obama appearance throws Oprah for a loop. Clearly, the POTUS’ appearance on the show was to be expected: Some people believe Winfrey’s support helped get him elected. But, that doesn’t mean that he would give her a heads up that Osama bin Laden was about to be hunted down and assassinated. But for Winfrey, that meant her pre-taped interview with Obama was instantly dated. And Winfrey hates to lose a scoop.

6. Michael Jackson gives Oprah a tour of the bizarre Neverland Ranch. The famously media-shy King of Pop opened the doors to his menagerie of a property to Winfrey. He denied some of the stranger reports about him and offered an explanation to his obvious changes in appearance: Plastic surgery (duh!) and a disease called vitiligo explained his very pale skin (hm…).

7. Whitney Houston: Don’t call it a comeback. Noticeably different from the talented young singer we remembered, the now deceased Houston broke her seven-year stretch of turning down interviews to appear with Oprah in 2009. She was very candid about the things we already in our gut knew about her: She was abusing drugs, her marriage to Bobby Brown was toxic and her vocal chords weren’t in good shape. It shouldn’t have been that shocking, but it was.

8. Rihanna breaks down over Chris Brown. A recent addition to the list, the pop singer hadn’t talked about the notorious beat down by then boyfriend, Brown, very much. If anything, it showed that she wasn’t quite over him and really seemed confused about those feelings. Their PDAs are all over the place now, but that interview probably prepared us for the romantic reconciliation.

9. Mackenzie Phillips admits to incestuous relationship with her dad. Phillips’ confessions to a long-term sexual relationship with her father, Mamas & the Papas member John Phillips, were explosive. It started with a drug-fueled rape at age 19, moved into his offer to run away with her and then ended 10 years later with a pregnancy and abortion. Ay yi yi.

10. Oprah introduces her half-sister. This makes my list for almost the same reason Obama and Vanzant’s appearances did: Because it sheds light on Winfrey herself. Faced with the threat of having the secret of her half-sister revealed first in an unauthorized biography, Winfrey introduced the world to Patricia, the half-sister she only discovered herself in October 2010.
