Ryan Cabrera came clean last week about his brewing bromance with Ryan Gosling (remember the now infamous tattoo?!). But he owes more than just a cool conversation starter to the big-screen heartthrob.

Gosling is helping Cabrera score with the ladies.

“Listen, ladies love the Gos,” Cabrera told Celebuzz. “So there is nothing else to say about that. So I am not mad.”

And forget bang ‘em up action flicks, this singer is Notebook fan.

“I am actually a really big Gosling fan,” he added. “It’s kind of an homage, at this point you gotta flaunt it. My friend knew that [I was a fan], so it was really funny.”

And the bromance is only blossoming further. Even his friend has ink of the hunk’s mug.

“We show them off at the pool,” said Cabrera, who’s in the studio recording his fourth album and gearing up to go on tour May 1.

So is the 30-year-old starting a tattoo trend here?

Well, he admits he would have never (we repeat, never) gotten the body art three months ago without being blindfolded in a little game of tattoo roulette the singer and his BFF like to play.

“I would never do something like that on my own,” Cabrera said. “We just kind of stepped it up a notch on this round.”

And despite his heavily inked up appearance, there are rules to follow.

“It can’t be religious and it can’t be tribal, and it had to be off the wall,” said Cabrera. “It’s only for the legs though. Like my ankle I don’t really care about.”

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first famous face Cabrera has on his body — but it’s the only one he hasn’t actually taken seriously. Those he saves for the prime sections of his body where you’ll find Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison.

“I’ve never, ever wanted anyone’s face on me other than The Beatles.”

And even then, he’s still shy.

“I sat next to Paul McCartney at a [Led] Zeppelin show in London, and I have this huge Paul McCartney tattoo on my arm and I folded down my sleeves. I was like, ‘I don’t want him to see that I am a big crazy fan!’”

But he’d swallow his pride for an in-person show-and-tell with Gosling.

“The first thing I would do is show him!” he said. “He would probably think it’s hilarious.”

There’s a new app that Hollywood is eating up.

Vine, a video-sharing start-up that Twitter has recently acquired, allows users to record and upload six-second clips from their at a rapid speed — letting celebrities to share their everyday lives all within seconds of recording.

Though the application has been under fire for accidentally letting clips of adult content land on its Editor’s Picks, it nonetheless has attracted a pretty heavy celebrity following in the past week.

No holiday season would be complete without Christmas tunes.

Whether you’re trimming the tree by a fireplace or shopping for last-minute presents, there’s nothing quite like a melody to make your holiday more merry and bright.

Though the perennial old-time tunes are forever classics, it’s easy to grow weary of little drummer boys, roasting chestnuts and Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer. But beyond the traditional Christmastime mainstays, there’s plenty of pop holiday cheer to be heard.

From Madonna‘s “Santa Baby,” to Justin Bieber‘s “Mistletoe,” to Michael Bublé‘s “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” there’s a swarm of pop stars who have recreated classics and recorded new chart-blazing Christmas melodies.

Though it was released almost two decades ago, Mariah Carey‘s 1994 hit “All I Want for Christmas Is You” reached the top 40 for the first time on the Billboard Hot 100 (it was previously ineligible on the chart because it was not available as a commercial single). And it seems ’tis the season for Carey, as her classic even topped Billboard’s inaugural Hot 100-style ranking of seasonal favorites.

From Martin Short’s cameo-filled opening monologue to surprise guest Samuel L. Jackson’s possible f-bomb during a talk show sketch, Saturday Night Live’s holiday episode has left viewers plenty to talk about in the wee hours of Sunday morning.

The show opened with a tribute to the Connecticut elementary school shooting victims with help from the New York City Children’s Chorus, who sang a beautiful rendition of “Silent Night.” The group also delivered the classic “Live from New York, it’s Saturday Night” announcement (video below).

“SNL has always been my first love, followed by my movies, then theater, then my money and my family,” Short joked during his opening monologue.

The 62-year-old SNL vet then launched into a musical number, to the tune of “It’s The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” but tweaked the theme to represent the real meaning of Christmas: being “amorous.”

With cameras following him through the halls of the SNL studio, Martin delivers a whole lot of love to Tom Hanks, Jackson, and SNL alums Kristen Wiig, Jimmy Fallon, Tina Fey and Lorne Michaels, who was on the receiving end of a very big kiss from the host.

Musical guest Sir Paul McCartney delivered three powerhouse performances, including one that reunited the former Beatle and the surviving members of Nirvana — Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear. The supergroup, who played last week’s Hurricane Sandy relief concert at Madison Square Garden, tore the stage with “Cut Me Some Slack.”

The episode came to an awkward halt during the “What’s Up With That” talk show sketch with Keenan Thompson, Portlandia star Carrie Brownstein and Jackson, who may have cursed on live television.

“Man f**k, that’s some bulls**t!” he yelled at one point, after Thompson’s hilarious host character says the show’s out of time.

“Come on Sam, come on now . . . that costs money,” Thompson responds, referring to a potential fine from the FCC.

“I only said FUH and not F**K! K was sposed to cut off da BULLS**T, blew it!!” Jackson tweeted backstage moments after the sketch.

As Twitter quickly exploded with reaction to Jackson’s word choice, and as several unofficial recordings (like this one) began to flood YouTube, NBC later uploaded a version of the sketch, but with caution — the potential curse word is muted.

Going back to Martin’s smorgasbord of performances Saturday night, the funnyman kicked off his evening with a bit opposite Alec Baldwin as Tony Bennett.

Martin also took part in a more newsy sketch about what else: Kate Middleton’s pregnancy. Playing a representative sent from Buckingham Palace, Martin advises the Duchess’ doctor to address her lady bits with any of the following words: the governess, the king maker, her Downton Abbey, Dame Judi Dench, among others.

“When the child is delivered, you must not reach for it unless it offers a hand to you,” Martin adds.

The evening wrapped with McCartney taking part in for a sketch that turned into a full-blown performance of “Wonderful Christmas Time,” along with the return of the New York City Children’s Chorus.

Saturday Night Live will return Jan. 15, with host Jennifer Lawrence and musical guest The Lumineers.

Is Sir Paul McCartney Nirvana’s new lead singer?  For one night only, yes.

The former Beatle is teaming up with the surviving members of the iconic ’90s grunge band — drummer Dave Grohl and bassist Krist Novoselic – for a Nirvana reunion at Madison Square Garden, reports The Guardian. Macca will join the Foo Fighters frontman and Novoselic for one-off performance at the 12.12.12 Concert for Hurricane Sandy Relief on Wednesday night.

Grohl and Novoselic have not performed together for over 20 years. Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain took his own life in April 1994.

For Grohl, the chance to perform alongside one of his idols was an opportunity of a lifetime. The former Nirvana drummer hasn’t tried to hide his adoration for the Fab Four and the influence they had on Nirvana.

“Kurt loved The Beatles because it was just so simple,” he told Access Hollywood in February.

After the release of  The Beatles’ latest compilation, Tomorrow Never Knows, on iTunes, Grohl penned yet another letter expressing his adoration for the band. In it, he writes about the personal impact the Beatles had on him growing up.

“If it weren’t for The Beatles, I would not be a musician,” Grohl wrote for Rolling Stone. “From a very young age I became fascinated with their songs, and over the years have drowned myself in the depth of their catalogue. Their groove and their swagger. Their grace and their beauty. Their dark and their light. The Beatles seemed to be capable of anything.”

Meanwhile, The Rolling Stones, Jon Bon Jovi, Eric Clapton, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and Kanye West will join McCartney and Nirvana on the all-star bill at the 12.12.12 Concert for victims of Superstorm Sandy at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Forget Bieber Fever, Beatlemania still lives on!

Friday night’s world premiere of Paul McCartney‘ music video, “My Valentine,” proved to be a star-studded event as the venue was full with celebrities. Rock enthusiasts Kristen Stewart and Gwen Stefani led the pack of famous attendees out to support the former Beatle’s latest solo endeavor.

However, the music video for “My Valentine” holds its own in terms of star power. Designed by fashion mogul and Paul’s daughter Stella McCartney, the black and white vid features Johnny Depp and Natalie Portman signing lyrics to the song.

The boys of One Direction have become an international phenomena practically overnight, and the girls in Australia are giving the boys’ American and British fans a run for their money when it comes to showing love to the band. 

Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson all showed up on Australia’s TODAY show Wednesday morning, much to the delight of many pre-teen female fans. “This is more than we could ever ask for. … We have amazing fans,” the band said gratefully. 

The boys are having a great time down under, going straight into the Sydney Harbor upon arrival, causing girls to gawk over their shirtless shots. 

Meanwhile, Paul McCartney is warning the boy band of their instant fame, adding that he doesn’t want the youngsters to be compared to The Beatles.

Paul told British morning show Daybreak, “(That’s the) kiss of death. So many bands, they all get called the next Beatles. It puts an awful lot of pressure on them to be the next Beatles. Oasis were the next Beatles once, if you remember.”

The  69-year-old musician further explained (2:10 minutes into video), “It’s pressure because suddenly you have got to live up to all the things that we did. It was a different time back then. So let’s just call them the next terrific band. They’re doing well in America. Good.”

The “Skyscraper” singer tweeted a story Monday night that led to her nearly running over The Beatles icon Paul McCartney. She wrote: 

“So…. today I was pulling into a parking space that some guys were standing in the middle of, and almost hit them….. When one of the guys turned around…. it was a BEATLE…….. Yes, YOU HEARD ME…. SIR PAUL McCARTNEY!!! He was so sweet!! Can’t believe I met him today.. WOW!”

Demi isn’t the only young pop star that’s had some driving woes. Justin Bieber, 18, has encountered several run-ins with traffic cops as well as Vanessa Hudgens.  

Celebs flocked to Warner Music Group’s Grammy Celebration hosted by InStyle at Chateau Marmont on Sunday following the awards show. Bruno Mars gave a show stopping performance with his band outside on the patio that had the star studded crowd on their feet.

Chelsea Handler even hoisted herself up on one of the tables outside to get a better look! Handler was in attendance with ex boyfriend Andre Balazs…are the duo back on? We’re told they certainly looked like it!

Lana Del Rey was also in attendance at the bash, and held court outside keeping a low profile. The singer, who received a lot of backlash following her SNL performance, seemed shy almost hanging with a few people from her team.

Paul McCartney made a late entrance at the famed hotel arriving after midnight and held court outside with security in tow.

A newly single Chord Overstreet was also in attendance but hung out mostly solo aside from chatting with costar Matthew Morrison for a bit.

Fergie, Blake Shelton and Kelly Clarkson rounded out the A List party.

Katy Perry spent her Friday night hard at work, but managed to fit in a little fun as well!

The “Teenage Dream” singer performed at a MusiCares benefit honoring man of the year Paul McCartney in LA Friday evening. In true Katy fashion (literally), she stood out in quite the interesting headpiece. Afterwards, a source tells Celebuzz that the star hit up Hollywood hotspot Chateau Marmont afterwards.

We all know Katy just officially split from her hubby Russell Brand, so how was she doing?

The source tells us Katy was looking fabulous! Donned in a sexy leather studded jacket, she came into the restaurant area of the hotel on the Sunset Strip pretty late with a large group of friends. Still rocking the blue locks, Katy swept them back in a cute up ‘do while she mingled, but the source told us she did look a “bit bummed.”

Hey, she worked all night, she could have been tired!

We’re glad to see she is doing well post-split.

Sure, Paul Rudd broke all of our hearts by announcing he isn’t going to be in the new Muppet movie, but you can still get your P-Rudd fix when he hosts Saturday Night Live this weekend.

The adorable actor will helm the sketch-comedy show with another pretty famous Paul as the musical guest. (Paul McCartney, maybe you’ve heard of him?)

In the promos, Paul teams up with his I Love You, Man co-star and current SNL cast member, Andy Samberg, and seriously brings the LOLs. “Santa?! Santa?!”

It girl and future Spider-man star Emma Stone charmed David Letterman on Wednesday night’s Late Show, regaling with him stories about befriending Woody Harrelson and sharing a veggie burger with Paul McCartney.

The gorgeous redhead flashed her million-dollar smile at fans outside the Ed Sullivan Theatre in New York. Gotta love an Emma sighting!

In an announcement that will blow the minds of Gleeks everywhere – Glee creator Ryan Murphy confirmed today that Britney Spears herself will appear on the much-talked-about fall episode in her honor.

Photos from the set have already revealed a pigtailed Lea Michele dressed for her best “Baby One More Time,” but Murphy let a few more details slip in a chat with “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” saying Matthew Morrison will not be shaving his head – because there will be no Britney-bashing or mention of her more fragile times.

The Britney episode is so reverential about her, and so kind and it’s about her music. It’s not about her personal life. I think Britney Spears is pop culture, and I think she’s been through a lot. And I want to do something that just sort of says, ‘You know what, thank you for what you’ve done. And we’re encouraging you to continue to be doing as fantastic as you are.’ We’re handling Britney with kid gloves.

Murphy said he also hopes to handle Prince, Michael Jackson and/or Paul McCartney in the show’s sophomore season, which will feature a show-stopping “After the Super Bowl” episode.

In other Glee news, Mark Salling, who plays class stud Puck, dropped his first single – “Higher Power” – on Seacrest’s morning radio show, announcing he’ll release his debut album, called “Pipe Dreams,” on Oct. 12.
