Britain’s favorite fame-hungry pair, Katie Price and Peter Andre, are dunzo!

The couple has finally decided to get divorced after four years of marriage. They have been battling breakup rumors for several months. 

A statement for the couple was released, announcing, “Peter Andre and Katie Price are separating after 4 and a half years of marriage, Can Associates Limited can confirm today. They have both requested that the media respect their families’ privacy at this difficult time.”

After marrying in September 2005, Price (who also goes by “Jordan”) gave birth a few months later to Junior Savva Andreas Andre. They had their second child together in June  2007, a daughter named Tiáamii Crystal Esther Andre.

The couple just finished filming their new reality series, which followed them as they relocated to Malibu, where Peter recorded his new album and the exercise enthusiasts

trained for the 2009 London Marathon.

Apparently the British-born Renaissance woman, 30, was so worried about being seen shopping for kinky underthings that she donned a mask as she left the store.

Oh, who are we kidding? Price was just being playful.

After all, it’s not like she’s ever been shy. Ever.

Katie, husband Peter Andre, 35, and their three children have relocated to Los Angeles from London so that Price can continue modeling and Andre can work on his singing career.

Price is also reportedly searching for a role on a daytime soap, according to her official website.

“She is desperate to break into acting. She knows she isn’t going to land a top movie, but fancies a TV soap,” a source says.

Ceaseless self-promoter Price should know that she’s never going to get recognized for acting roles if she’s sporting a mask.

Jordan says that rumors of marital discord between her and husband Peter Andre are “a load of nonsense,” despite the fact that they’ve been spending a lot of time apart of late.

“He was working on his album and I was launching my new hair-care electricals range—so I flew out to be with him on Friday,” Jordan clarifies, according to the Sun. 

Andre, meanwhile, attempted to dispel divorce rumors in a column he penned for New! Magazine. “I admit that we have been arguing lately, but no more than we do normally,” Andre scribbles. “It would take a lot for me to want to head to the divorce courts, let me tell you.”

Price says that the couple’s marriage is so solid, in fact, that the two plan to dramatically expand their brood in coming years. “Ideally I want to have another three kids biologically and then adopt,” she says.

Hmm; adoption amid divorce rumors? That sounds awfully familiar. But hopefully Katie and Peter can hang in there and make good on their plans for a larger family—if not for themselves, then at least the shoemakers of the world.

Katie, a/k/a Jordan, was out partying Wednesday night at London club Modiva. And, surprise—she hung out with none other than possible soon-to-be expatriate Paris Hilton.

Oh, wait…Paris Hilton…Eiffel Tower…now the purse all makes sense (sadly)!

Meanwhile, Price’s husband Peter Andre was nowhere to be found. The Metro paper claims “he wasn’t invited along for the ride, only weeks after his wife tried to put to bed talk their showbiz marriage was on the rocks.”

Katie would be wise to avoid being drawn into a costly divorce battle. Those plastic surgery missions to the States ain’t cheap, after all.

Katie Price (whom we all know and love as Jordan) stepped off the plane and was swarmed with paparazzi as she grabbed her luggage. She then hopped in a car with husband Peter Andre.

The pseudo-authoress may not get invited to swanky polo events in England, but plastic surgeons in Beverly Hills began salivating dollar signs when they heard Jordan’s British bosoms hit American soil.

It’s surprising she was recognized, though. Katie looks like she’d blend in with every other Rodeo Drive sales dame in town.
