This week, the Los Angeles Times reported there has been a 4,378% rise in the number of women seeking “upper arm-lifts” since 2000. While surgeons did not pinpoint a precise reason for the astronomic rise in the amount of women seeking this particular procedure it did note that women “are paying closer attention to the arms of female celebrities.” The most popular arms being those of the First Lady Michelle Obama.

The concept of celebrity-inspired plastic surgery is not a new one. But this latest craze, coveting the arms of MObama, led us to wonder: what would the perfect celebrity body part Frankenstein look like?

Nose

The rhinoplasty has long been a popular surgical procedure. But for inspiration, women looking to fix their noses are going to another nation’s figurehead: Kate Middleton. The queen-to-be’s nose is the top requested by women looking to tweak their noses. The New York Daily News even called the princess’ schnoz “spring’s hottest accessory.” And a New York-based surgeon told the paper that the procedure is so popular he keeps a dozen photographs of Middleton in the office for patients to look at during their consultation.

Eyes

For the eyes, it is Anne Hathaway‘s that are most often requested. Doctors say they have many patients coming in to request the “Anne Hathaw-eye.” No, just kidding, that’s something I just made up.

Lips

There are plenty of celebrities with giant lips to covet, but for this one Scarlett Johansson comes out on top. Surgeons report women most often cite her lips as the ones they’d like to have. Injections used to plumpen lips are the second most popular minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure in America, after Botox injections, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Chin

It’s Halle Berry‘s chin that women are clamoring for, apparently. Hers is the most requested chin/jawline in Hollywood. In fact, Hollywood is likely where most of those procedures are happening, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports that 36% of all chin augmentations in the U.S. are performed in the western states.

Eyebrows

After years of thin eyebrows being trendy, women are letting their fill out, citing Megan Fox as an inspiration. In fact, many women who overplucked are paying $8,000 for surgery that transplants hair from your head to above your eyes. The only downside being, that hair continues to grow at the same rate leaving you with curtains over your eyes.

Hair

It may not be surgical, but celebrities’ hair has long influenced us. Recently, it’s Taylor Swift‘s hairstyle women are coveting. (A different Styles than the one Swift herself is coveting.)

This leaves us with this, the composite of the perfect, surgically-manufactured woman. Behold in fear the monster we’ve all created:

Nearly three years after Heidi Montag had life-changing plastic surgery — a jaw-dropping 10 procedures in one day — she is settling into her body.

But, the former star of MTV’s The Hills admits she would never do such a series of surgical procedures again.

“I wouldn’t do it again, that’s for sure,” Montag, 25, told Celebuzz in an exclusive interview at her home in Santa Barbara, Calif. “It was a lot more than I could have expected.”

How painful was the experience for Heidi?

She explained, “I really hate talking about it now because it was so long ago. I was a much different person back then to who I am now. I didn’t realize how much of The Hills — and going through that — would define who I am.

“I’m really looking forward to the next phase in my life. I know I’ll never be able to get away from a lot of it, but I won’t give up trying to prove I’m more than just that.”

Montag shocked the world when she was featured on the cover of PEOPLE magazine in early 2010 for having 10 plastic surgery procedures, including breast implants, liposuction on her stomach and thighs, a brow lift and a nose revision.

The cover headline beamed, “Addicted to Plastic Surgery.”

Montag, who has been married to Hills costar Spencer Pratt since 2009, has stayed out of the spotlight for most of 2012. She has mentioned several projects in the works for next year — but is mum on details.

The plastic surgery experience — which marked the descent of Montag from the public eye — was obviously a painful one for the former reality starlet.

“I feel really thankful that it all came out so well — it could have been really disastrous,” Montag said.

“I lived and I learned — and I wouldn’t really recommend it for other people. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be going through it — physically, mentally, emotionally, recovering. But, I’m just glad it’s done and that everything healed so well.”

Montag now says she is on her doctor’s timetable for a full recovery.

“My doctor originally told me it would take two years, so it’s finally settling in now. It feels really good to be healthy and strong,” she added.

“There are basic problems. I use a lot of creams and stuff on any residue scars. But, they’re almost gone now.”

Now that her healing is done — Montag intends to dig out the bikini she has been hiding for months.

“I actually haven’t been in a bikini in about a year, but I’m going to soon and I’m really excited,” she told Celebuzz.

“After my surgery, I stopped working out and now I’m getting back into it I feel the best ever. I feel really healthy and strong and like I’m gonna be the healthiest and fittest. I feel really good.”

The girls are on full display! Teen Mom Jenelle Evans wasted no time flaunted her new body over the weekend — just days after having a breast augmentation that put her at a 34C bra size.

It looks like this 20-year-old couldn’t wait to show the world her new figure! She hit the beach in Wilmington, North Carolina with her new boyfriend.

Not everyone was a fan:

Some critics came after her on Twitter, but she quickly dismissed their taunts, telling one fan she has plenty of money to spend on plastic surgery because her son already has a college fund set up.

She also answered questions from followers who were curious about the procedure and those concerned with her being in a bikini so quickly after surgery.

Take that critics: Megan Fox is a natural beauty! The 25-year-old actress silenced the botox rumors that had been following her around for several months when she posted photos of herself scrunching her face on her Facebook page under the album title “THINGS YOU CAN’T DO WITH YOUR FACE WHEN YOU HAVE BOTOX.”

Critics began speculating that the raven-haired beauty has succumbed to using Botox after she appeared at the Jonah Hex premiere last year looking, as some critics put it, “waxy.” The actress also caught flack earlier this week when her new ads for Giorgio Armani Beauty were deemed too fake-looking. Megan, an avid Facebook user, decided to put the rumors to rest herself for her 26 million Facebook “friends.”

Desperate Housewives actress Teri Hatcher is aiming to prove to critics that she doesn’t use Botox by posting pictures of herself frowning for all the world to see.

The 45-year-old beauty posted the no-makeup pics on Facebook and explained that she decided to post them “to reveal some truths about ‘beauty’ and hope it makes you all easier on yourself.”

As for allegations that she uses Botox or has had plastic surgery, the actress was quick to clarify that good lighting is the only thing that makes her look younger:

Out of the bath getting ready for bed. Thought about all those damn critics of my face. Love it or hate it, my face that is, no surgery, no implants, no matter what “they” say. [...] I can be mad, or confused or sad and tired. [...] 45 year old me. Just me wanting to teach that all those glam versus trash pictures of celebs are about LIGHTING. It’s not makeup it’s not suregery [sic] or botox its LIGHT.

Teri also said that she was posting these pictures to prove to other women that they are beautiful and shouldn’t take what they see on magazine covers as eternal truths about beauty.

Rumors popped up this week suggesting teen superstar Miley Cyrus is vying for breast implants at the tender age of 17, but just as fast as the rumor mill started, a strong denial is here to counter the claim.

InTouch Weekly first claimed that the “Can’t Be Tamed” chanteuse wanted to get breast implants before her 18th birthday. According to an unnamed source, Miley “wants curves” and she doesn’t want to wait for papa Billy Ray Cyrus to give her permission to increase her bust.

However, Gossip Cop reports that a source close to Cyrus denied the rumors. From Gossip Cop:

It’s absurd. Miley has never even considered it. She’s always been very comfortable in her own skin.

Considering that Miley has really been shedding her clothes lately, it isn’t surprising that she is comfortable with her current body.

Uh oh: Jessica Simpson just found a wrinkle.

The Price of Beauty star recently tweeted that she found a wrinkle after turning 30 earlier this month:

It is official- I’m 30 and found a wrinkle. Damnit!!

Aw, don’t worry Jessica, we’re sure that the wrinkle wasn’t a big deal–you are only 30!

Even if she allegedly found a wrinkle, the gorgeous singer isn’t losing male attention: Jessica has recently been linked with former NFL player Eric Johnson and the two took a romantic vacation in Italy earlier this month to celebrate Jessica’s big 30th birthday.

We think Jessica is confident enough with the way she looks to avoid getting worked up about a little ol’ wrinkle. The blonde stunner created The Price of Beauty which focused on good and bad beauty standards put on women throughout the world. Surely she learned a thing or two about good body image from that show!

Filipino teen sensation Charice Pempengco rose to fame on her undeniable talent but now it looks like she is already courting controversy.

The 18-year-old singer became a success when she sang on both Ellen DeGeneres‘ and Oprah Winfrey‘s talk shows. The young star recently landed a role on Glee which reportedly motivated her to get Botox and skin-lightening treatments so she can look “fresh” for the camera. Yikes!

Charice’s plastic surgeon Vicki Belo talked openly about the procedures in a recent interview, saying the injections would make Charice’s “naturally round face” look more narrow and “fresh on camera.”

Charice’s rep denies the story, telling Us Magazine the teen got the shots to alleviate pain from TMJ, not to make her face appear thinner.

During her guest-hosting stint on The View on Friday, the reality-TV mega-mom adamantly denied the recent rumors that she’d had breast-enhancement surgery and Botox injections. While Kate did admit—though there’s really no denying it—that “I’ve had a tummy tuck,” she shot down rumors that she’d gone under the knife to have her breasts done, shooting back,

“Why is it so fascinating? I got a good bra!”

As for the scuttlebutt about havingher face injected with age-erasing Botox, Gosselin countered, “Absolutely not.”

According to The Sun (via Hollyscoop), Katy Perry gave her mother the gift of plastic surgery.

The British newspaper reports that Katy’s father, a reverend at The Way Family Church in California, let slip that his daughter had recently bought his wife a face lift:

My daughter, little Katy Perry, bought my wife a facelift. Hallelujah! My Lord, does she look good. It is amazing what they can do. They took 25 years off her. I am serious – it’s amazing.

I don’t know how I am going to handle this. I mean, she doesn’t look like her mother no more, she looks like Katy Perry’s sister. It’s going to be difficult because they’re going to say, ‘Who’s this old man with Katy Perry and her sister?’

Hm, we aren’t really sure the way Katy’s father is talking sounds more like a British person’s idea of how an American would talk rather than how a reverend from California would actually address his congregation. Then again, stranger things have happened!

If it is true, maybe Katy can make her father feel comfortable going out with her rejuvenated mother by treating him to a facelift of his own.

Joan Rivers may have just lost her chance at becoming a gay icon.

The outspoken comedian is stirring up controversy by urging young gay stars to stay in the closet. Her reason? It’s bad for their careers if they are honest about their sexuality:

If you’re going to be a romantic idol and try to get every teenage girl to love you, then you’d be an a** to come out and say you’re gay. Ricky Martin was so smart. He did what he did, made his millions and then he said, ‘Guess what, everybody? I’m gay…’ It didn’t matter anymore because he didn’t have to bring in 16-year-old girls.

Hm, does Joan really know what 16-year-old girls want? Last time we checked plenty of girls seem to enjoy Adam Lambert‘s music even he’s gay.

Uh oh, we smell a reality show cat fight.

Last week, The Apprentice‘s Omarosa told Perez Hilton that she believed that Real Housewives of New York star (and former Apprentice contestant) Bethenny Frankel had gotten a tummy tuck after giving birth to her daughter Brynn. The accusation stung since Bethenny told reporter that she had gotten her amazing post-baby body on her “SkinnyGirl” diet plant.

Now, Bethenney has responded to Omarosa’s gossiping:

Obviously I didn’t get a tummy tuck. It’s everything that I am, and I wouldn’t even get a personal trainer.

Hm, we don’t know who to trust for sure, but considering that Bethenny weighed less than a large bag of rice before she got pregnant we are inclined to think she knows how to stay thin.

Apparently, Steve Neild isn’t just a bodyguard to Kate Gosselin—he’s also a body consultant.

According to a source, Neild—who’s been a constant presence in the Kate Plus 8 mom’s life since her rise to media prominence—provided crucial advice on a secret boob job that the reality-TV matriarch allegedly underwent in March 2009. The source, who says that Neild went so far as to chauffeur Gosselin to the procedure, reveals:

“Kate was going to have one kind of breast augmentation, but she changed her mind after talking to Steve about what would look best.”

Though multiple sources insist that Gosselin underwent breast-enhancement surgery, claiming that she went from a size 4 shirt to a size 6, so far the TV mom has denied bumping up her boobs. When asked earlier this whether she’d had breast surgery surgery, Gosselin snapped,

“Plastic surgery? Please. Who has time to even think about it, let alone do it?”

(Gosselin underwent a tummy tuck in 2007, which was well documented on her series Jon & Kate Plus 8.)

With all the work that Heidi Montag has had done on herself, it’s really hard to tell if she’s saying this with a straight face, but the Hills villainess swears that her decision to give herself a whole new face under the surgeon’s scalpel last fall is the wisest move she’s ever made.

Okay, so perhaps “wise move” may be a relative term where Montag is concerned, but she still swore up and down on her Twitter account on Monday that it is so:

“My last surgery was the best decision of my life! Anything anyone else says (family members who are trying to make money off of me) is a lie! I have never felt sexier, happier, or more amazing in my own skin. I truly look the way I have always dreamed.”

If those are the kind of dreams you’re having, Heidi, it might be best to lay off the spicy foods right before bedtime.

Alas, all is not sexy, happy, amazing bliss in La Vida Montag. She also put on her sad face yesterday to Tweet about how, aside from her loyal hubby Spencer Pratt, she’s utterly alone in the world:

“I have no friends! The ones who are pretending to be ‘friends’ or ‘family,’ are crazy, angry, broke and BITTER. This is why they haven’t been in my life for years. Liars!”

Well, that’s the nice thing about giving yourself a whole new face every few months or so, Heidi; despite the crushing loneliness, every once in a while you can look in the mirror and see an unfamiliar person smiling back at you.

Here is some news that is sure to make all the women out there feel inadequate: Salma Hayek–sorry, Salma Hayek Pinault, claims she has never had Botox or plastic surgery of any kind.

That’s right, the ridiculously good-looking 43-year-old mother manages to look better than most 20-year-olds with the aid of nothing more than some creams and her natural gifts.

The Mexican actress opened up to InStyle about her natural beauty and her disgust with the Hollywood trend of plastic surgery:

No surgical tweaks. No Botox either. Look. [She raises her eyebrows.] I think it is terrible, these girls in their late 20s injecting their faces and lips. One told me, ‘If I kill my muscles now, I’ll never get wrinkles.’ Can you imagine?

Well, it’s nice to know that there is at least one actress in Hollywood who has some sense; however, that doesn’t make us feel any less inadequate when compared to Salma.

We all know that Heidi Montag is a little zany, but could she actually be suffering from a mental disorder? After Spencer Pratt told Life and Style magazine that Heidi wanted to get bigger breast implants, people started to get concerned that the 23-year-old Hills star might not be right in the head. Of course, marrying Spencer would have been their first clue that she was loopy, but now doctors are getting involved.

PopEater spoke with several experts about Heidi’s seemingly never-ending desire to get more and more surgery (and more and more attention) and many of them agreed that Heidi has Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).

‘Heidi obviously has major self-image problems, which need the care of a psychiatrist, not a plastic surgeon. Any plastic surgeon she goes to next should seriously consider referring her to psychiatric care instead of picking up the scalpel,’ says Dr. Anthony Youn, a Michigan-based, board-certified plastic surgeon who has been featured on ‘Dr. 90210.’

‘She appears to be a candidate for Body Dysmorphic Disorder, a psychiatric condition where the person sees their body in a completely unrealistic way,’ says Dr. Youn. ‘What we see as massive breasts, she sees as small breasts.’

Having low self-esteem could explain why Heidi feels the need to belittle herself publicly in order to land on the cover of the tabloids. However, we still can’t explain why she ever married Spencer.

Even though her humongous fake breasts are already doomed to make her life miserable, Heidi Montag says she still wants bigger breasts.

According to Life and Style (via PopEater), Heidi was upset that her fake breasts weren’t at the freakishly large levels that she had dreamed of having. Spencer Pratt tells the magazine that Heidi wanted to “punch the doctor in the face.” Classy!

Heidi has already mentioned that her breasts are bumping up to the legal limit for breast implants in America, so she is now looking for a doctor in Europe to increase her bust.

Spencer says that Heidi was pushed over the edge by some comments that Ryan Seacrest made when she came on his show:

‘When Heidi entered the studio, Ryan told her that her breasts didn’t look that big to him, ‘Spencer, who was standing just a few feet from his wife at the time, says. Although Ryan’s comment was clearly meant to compliment Heidi and calm any preshow jitters she may have had before her early morning interview, his words took on a twisted meaning in her mind. ‘She was taken aback,’ Spencer says. ‘She came home in shock.’

Yes, because being told that you fake breasts don’t look freakishly large and unattractive is incredibly insulting.

Naturally, Heidi is planning on getting the surgery as part of a reality show she and Svengali husband Spencer are currently pitching to networks. It’s just further proof that Heidi is willing to destroy her body and become a living freak show to extend her fifteen minutes of fame.
