Blimey! Prince Harry‘s States tour was a bloody success.

After sparking media mayhem during his last trip, the red-headed royal breezed through this seven-day tour across America on his best behavior — from honoring military families wth Michelle Obama in Washington, to participating in cheerleader pyramids in Colorado, to giving boardwalk games a go on the Jersey Shore, to even hitting a home run in Harlem.

Harry wrapped up the weeklong, cross-country jaunt in the upscale Greenwich, Conn., where he picked up a polo stick for a good cause. After the rain turned to sunshine on Wednesday afternoon, His Royal Highness joined around 400 invited guests — including bold-names like model Karolina Kurkova, socialite Olivia Palermo and designer Jason Wu — at the Greenwich Polo Club for a fanfare-filled match benefiting Sentebale, a charity he co-founded to raise support for at-risk youth in the small African nation of Lesotho.

Before hitting the green, Harry gave a speech to the invitation-only crowd, during which he thanked Americans for the “extraordinary generosity” with which he was greeted throughout his visit. And as the perfect cherry on top to a triumphant trip, the Wild Winsor scored a goal to help his team take the win, trumping the St. Regis squad 4 to 3. The real victory? The match raised $1 million for charity.

Prince Harry has hit the Jersey Shore — but not to GTL with the MTV gang.

On the heels of his Colorado trip going off without a hitch, His Royal Highness joined New Jersey Governor Chris Christie to tour through areas along the shore that were devastated by hard-hitting Hurricane Sandy.

After stopping in the on-the-mend town Mantoloking, Harry and Christie visited the battered boardwalk at summer-getaway spot Seaside Heights, where the famous fist-pumping, club-hopping Jersey Shore cast filmed several season of their hit series. In both locations, Harry greeted gathered residents, explored in the rebuilding efforts, and shook the hands of emergency and construction personnel.

For local giddy girls and woman, the handsome royal was welcome break after six months of rebuilding. Many maneuvered their way in through the crowd, some just to glean a glance of the redhead and others to snap a souvenir picture.

Now Harry is in Manhattan, where he spent the afternoon with Prime Minister David Cameron riding around town in a red double-decker bus to promote British tourism. And before leaving the country, Harry will head up to Greenwich, Conn., on Wednesday, where he will captain a polo team in the Sentebale Polo Cup.

Prince Harry’s historic trip to the 2013 Warrior Games went off without a hitch.  After landing in Colorado on Friday night, the spare helped serenade Olympian Missy Franklin for her birthday.  Then it was off to Colorado Springs for a sporting event that brought together both UK and US wounded veterans and their supporters.

The cause is one that’s very close to Harry’s heart, as he’s a patron of the UK’s Walking With The Wounded, and recently announced that he’ll travel to the South Pole with the organization.

The 2013 Warrior Games opened with a splash of royalty — and a whole lot of laughter — in Colorado Springs, Colo. on Saturday, thanks to HRH Prince Harry of Wales.

The 28-year-old, who was in his British Army camouflage, spent his day playing sitting volleyball with members of the British team before lighting the torch with Olympian and new BFF Missy Franklin during the opening ceremony.

From the gymnasium to the ceremony stage, it looks like Harry was in good spirits on Saturday. At one point, the third-in-line to the British throne covered up his face in an attempt to contain his laughter.

Don’t worry, four-time gold medalist Missy Franklin, we probably would’ve reacted like that if a prince serenaded us on our birthday.

After touching down in Colorado Friday night, HRH Prince Harry of Wales headed to a reception held at a golf resort in Sedalia, just outside of Denver.

Among the distinguished guests was Franklin, whose birthday was made even sweeter when the prince and British Ambassador to the U.S. Sir Peter Westmacott broke out in “Happy Birthday.”

“And the perfect way to end my 18th birthday? Meeting Prince Harry! It was a honor meeting him and I had a blast as always,” Franklin wrote on her Twitter and Instagram accounts following the event.

The past 24 hours have been packed of plenty celebrity sightings, from New York to Beijing.

Megan Fox put on her best April O’Neil face as she spent another day filming the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot in Manhattan. The 26-year-old actress, who has been in town for the film shoot for the past week, was spotted riding a bike (with a helmet) for a scene.

Elsewhere in the Big Apple, Daniel Craig grabbed lunch with his wife Rachel Weisz. The couple looked extra stylish thanks to their matching denim-on-denim ensembles.

Following a Capitol Hill appearance that temporarily stopped work for dozens of female staffers, HRH Prince Harry of Wales kicked off the second day of his tour of the United States on a somber note.

On Friday morning, the 28-year-old royal arrived at Arlington National Cemetery in his British Army ceremonial uniform of the Blues and Royals. Harry laid a wreath with a personal note at Section 60. The handwritten note read, “To my comrades-in-arms of the United States of America, who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in the cause of freedom. Captain Harry Wales.”

The prince also laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and a small bouquet of flowers at the John F. Kennedy memorial.

Harry then changed into his British Army camouflage and headed over to the Military Advanced Training Center of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. to meet wounded U.S. soldiers.

The third-in-line to the British throne is due in Colorado on Friday night, where he’ll attend a reception hosted by the British Consul-General to Colorado, New Mexico and Wyoming Beverly Simpson. Immediately after landing in America yesterday, real life royal person Prince Harry stopped by the U.S. Capitol. Was he greeted there by various dignitaries and elected officials? No he was not. Prince Harry was greeted by a crowd of screaming women, like a freaking One Direction concert. The only difference is, these women were not teenagers, but staffers in the Capitol, one of the nation’s most important and historical buildings.

Come on, ladies, you’re better than this. You are some of the brightest, most talented women in the nation! You all went to college, many of you probably worked very hard to get post-graduate degrees from prestigious universities and you now all hold important jobs working for some of the nation’s most powerful people. What did Prince Harry ever do besides be born to the right parents and get naked at a party one time?

Through all the commotion, it’s likely almost nothing got done at the Capitol yesterday. The good news is, that doesn’t seem to be much different from any other day.

Prince Harry is back on U.S. soil for the first time since that (un)forgettable Las Vegas photo scandal.

On Thursday, the third-in-line to the British throne touched down at Dulles International Airport to kick off a weeklong visit. during which time he’ll do a little press and raise funds for charities close to his heart.

Sen. John McCain had the lucky honor of greeting the prince as the pair attended a photo exhibition on landmines and unexploded ordinance at the Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill.

As Twitter and Instagram have been telling us all afternoon, gaggles of female staffers have been lurking about the halls, squealing and snapping photos of the clothed royal.

Harry is scheduled to attend a dinner at the British Embassy later this evening.

On Friday, the 28-year-old royal will head to Arlington National Cemetery for a wreath ceremony before visiting wounded vets at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

Other highlights of Harry’s trip will include a tour of post-Hurrican Sandy New Jersey with Gov. Chris Christie, a fundraiser in New York City and a game of polo in Greenwich, Conn. in support of his children’s charity in Africa.

Oh, bugger.  The Daily Mail reports that Prince Harry is telling people Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge are having a boy this July.

Despite no confirmation on the sex of the baby from the palace, the spare is apparently so over-the-moon about becoming an uncle.

“Harry has been telling everyone Wills and Kate are having a boy and how thrilled he is at the prospect of having a little nephew,” a source told the Mail.

Apparently Princess Eugenie has also been flapping her gums about the third-in-line being a boy.

“The close inner circle all know that it’s a boy and they’re busily buying gifts with a boy theme,” another source told the Sunday People.  ”There will be an awful lot if blue in their house.”

Adding fuel to the fire, Kate told a group of army wives on St. Patrick’s day that she bought a light blue Bugaboo stroller.

All this comes as a surprise to me, knowing that Harry is fiercely protective of his privacy and that of his sister-in-law’s.

Before ending his tour of duty in Afghanistan, Captain Wales (as he’s known in the British army) told reporters how pleased he was to hear from Will and Kate about their impending arrival, but that Kate deserves to be protected.

“I literally am very, very happy for them,” Harry said at Camp Bastion in January.

“I just only hope that she and him – but mainly Catherine – hopefully that she gets the necessary protection to allow her as a mother-to-be to enjoy the privacy that that comes with. I seriously hope that’s going to be able to happen.”

Prince Harry traveled to Nottingham, England today where he opened the new headquarters for brain injury association, Headway.  Princess Diana was a patron of the charity from 1991-1996.

Harry took on the challenge of changing a baby’s diaper with just one hand, which he failed miserably at.  According to the Daily Mail‘s Rebecca English, Harry grabbed the plastic baby by her leg to flip her over.

“She stayed asleep all the time,” Harry joked of the plastic baby.  ”She didn’t cry once.”

Harry also visited Russell Youth Club, where he met youth workers from four organizations involved with young people in the city.  Harry signed his name on a graffiti wall during the visit

The royal also popped by the Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies, meeting staff and students, as well as officially opened the Notts TV Institute.

Taking a page from his father, Prince Charles, Harry stepped in to read the news during a student broadcast, according to the Telegraph.

There was sunshine, a royal and a moment of silence as the 2013 London Marathon kicked off early Sunday morning.

“We will join together in silence to remember our friends and colleagues for whom a day of joy turned into a day of sadness,” an announcer said before the touching tribute. “Let us now show our respect and support for the victims of the tragedy in Boston.” [via CNN]

Prince Harry, spectators, extra officers and some 36,000 runners then united in a 30-second moment of silence before a whistle signaled the start of the race.

Many runners also wore black ribbons as a tribute to the victims of the bombings at last week’s Boston Marathon. 19-year-old suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is in custody following a dramatic manhunt that took place in Watertown, Mass. on Friday. His brother Tamerlan, another suspect, died hours earlier in a shootout with police.

On Sunday, Prince Harry, 28, joined Sir Richard Branson at the marathon’s finish line as they greeted runners and handed out trophies.

“The way that Boston has dealt with it has been remarkable and I think the reaction here has been typically British,” Harry told the BBC. “People have been saying that they have not seen crowds like this for years. The thing about the marathon is no matter what color you are, what religion you are, you people come together to raise money for so many worthy causes. It was never an option not to be here.”

On Thursday, the 28-year-old confirmed that he will be taking part in a 208-mile race as part of the Walking With The Wounded South Pole Allied Challenge, set to kick off in November.

Harry will trek alongside a team comprised of seriously injured former British servicemen and women, officially called Team Glenfiddich.

“Ladies and gentlemen, these men and women have given their all in the cause of freedom, in our cause. That they should once again step into the breach — this time facing down the extreme physical and mental challenges of trekking to the South Pole — just underlines their remarkable qualities,” the royal said at the launch event, held at London’s Mandarin Hotel. Harry and company will compete against teams from Canada, Australia and the U.S. during the four-week race.

“It just remains for me to say to Soldier On Canada, Soldiers To Summits from the US and Solider On Australia — welcome to the party. As a member of the British team, I will have a brew ready for you when you join us at the Pole.”

The prince competed in the same charity’s race to the North Pole in 2011, but dropped out early to attend the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton. Harry also missed out on 2012’s Mount Everest race due to military work.

“The format may be different. The scale is certainly different,” Harry said of South Pole trek. “But the aim remains the same — to enable our wounded to do what they and all other servicemen and women do better than anyone else I know — meet a challenge head-on and overcome it and inspire others to do the same.”

Prince Harry is set to return to America in May for the first time since he was photographed partying in the nude in Las Vegas.

According to the Associated Press, the 28-year-old’s six-day trip — which runs May 9-15 — will include stops at Arlington National Cemetery, Walter Reed National Medical Center and an exhibition on Capitol Hill about land mine clearance, as well as a visit to towns in New Jersey that were badly affected by Hurricane Sandy.

He will also attend the 2013 Warrior Games, in Colorado Springs, Colo., before wrapping up with a polo match at the Sentebale Polo Cup in Greenwich, Conn.

In August 2012, photos of Harry partying inside a suite at the Wynn Las Vegas were leaked to TMZ. In the photos, a naked Harry is seen grabbing a young woman from behind, reportedly during a game of strip billiards.

Following the scandal, Harry spent 20 weeks in Afghanistan as a co-pilot gunner on an Apache attack helicopter.

Concerned Prince William has thrown a “ring of steel” around his wife Kate Middleton amid fears Taliban militants could target them and their unborn baby as revenge for comments that his brother Prince Harry made about his tour of duty in Afghanistan, royal sources have revealed to Celebuzz.

Extra security measures are now being put in place at Wills and Kate’s Kensington Palace apartment — close to Buckingham Palace — before they move in later this year.

Plans for the lavish central London home include a $5 million bill for a bomb-proof double door to prevent intruders, rising bollards and CCTV. All windows are to have bullet-proof glass, there will be a “panic” room and escape tunnel and a communications network will be protected by an elite SAS unit, palace sources confirmed.

An undisclosed sum, thought to run into several millions, is being spent on the Queen’s late sister Princess Margaret’s former apartment. All contractors are understood to have been sworn to silence under the Official Secrets Act in Britain, prohibiting the disclosure of confidential material from government sources by employees.

Wills and Kate — who confirmed their pregnancy last December, after Middleton, 31, was hospitalized for hyperemesis gravidarum, a rare form of morning sickness — are likely to move to Kensington Palace a couple of months after the baby is born.

And on-edge Wills has begged his brother Prince Harry to watch his words in the wake of the gaffe.

Harry recently made a series of comments about Afghanistan and the Taliban during a television interview on the front line, during which he loosely compared the act of war to playing a video game, among other things.

Now, brother Wills — the future King — has asked him to “think about the implications of his words” and is urging him not to even give more interviews, one source said.

The royal insider revealed: “Harry’s comments caused a fair bit of tension between him and Wills. He feels that talking is such a strong way about the Taliban has really made them prime targets.

“England boasts some of the most worrying terror cells in the world and so this is a real threat.”

The source added, “Wills has asked his brother to not give anymore interviews on the subject and to keep a low profile in the next few weeks. He is praying that Harry’s outburst will not prompt an attack on his family.

“While Wills stands behind Harry a hundred percent, but he also now considers his commitment to his wife and new child just as important.”

The source continued:

He understands Harry’s comments, but feels it is time to bolt down the hatches at the palace. He is pulling out all the stops to keep his wife and child secure. There are many measures like the panic room and escape tunnel, which are not included in public records. Wills is using England’s Official Secrets Act and Royal power to make sure his home really is his castle.

Outspoken action man Harry was accused of handing a propaganda coup to the Afghan insurgents while filming scenes for a TV documentary.

During an interview, the grinning third in line to the throne referred candidly to killing Taliban and “taking them out of the game.”

In an interview to mark the end of his four-month tour of duty in Afghanistan, the third in line to the throne confirmed he had been directly responsible for the deaths of one or more insurgents as a co-pilot gunner.

The prince said: “Yeah, so lots of people have. The squadron’s been out here. Everyone’s fired a certain amount.”

In another interview on the BBC, he risked fresh criticism after talking about “the taste of blood in your mouth” as he scrambled to his helicopter before a mission.

Prince Harry opened up about Prince William and Kate Middleton’s baby news this week, in a rare press conference held in Afghanistan.

The 28-year-old Harry said, “Obviously I’m thrilled for both of them . . . it’s about time.”

In all seriousness, the prince, who has been serving overseas in the Apache helicopter division since September, said privacy is priority when it comes to the Duchess of Cambridge and the future royal bundle of joy.
