Some of music’s most talented have taken over the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, all in the name of Billboard.

The annual music award ceremony, hosted by Tracy Morgan, is expecting everyone from Miley Cyrus to Ke$ha, Celine Dion to Psy.

The evening will also be packed with musical performances by Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber, Icona Pop, Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull and Taylor Swift, to name a few.

But first, Celebuzz is taking a closer look at the fashion, the hair, the shoes and all the red blue carpet action from Sin City.

The 2013 Billboard Music Awards will be handed out on ABC at 8 p.m.

Mr. and Mrs. Timberlake hit the red carpet in style on Sunday, as the couple attended the premiere of Inside Llewyn Davis at the 66th Cannes Film Festival in France.

Justin Timberlake looked ever so dapper in his suit and tie while his wife Jessica Biel glowed in a Marchesa dress from its Fall 2012 line.

The 31-year-old actress finished her look with a matching pillbox clutch, snake necklace, cream pumps and a sophisticated up do. Also at the center of attention: her gorgeous engagement ring.

Biel walked the carpet solo while her husband joined his fellow Inside Llewlyn Davis cast mates Carey Mulligan, Oscar Isaac and Garrett Hedlund.

The film, directed by the Coen brothers, opens stateside Dec. 6.

Another day, another fabulous Christian Dior outfit on the fabulous Jennifer Lawrence.

On Saturday, the 22-year-old actress stopped traffic on the red carpet as she attended the premiere of Jimmy P. (Psychotherapy of a Plain Indian) at the 66th Annual Cannes Film Festival.

Glowing in an ensemble from Dior’s Fall 2013 line, Lawrence finished off her look with gems from Chopard.

Jimmy P., starring Benicio del Toro, will compete for the prestigious Palme d’Or this year.

Earlier in the day, the Oscar winner joined her Hunger Games co-stars Liam Hemsworth and Sam Claflin at a photocall for Catching Fire.

New York City rolled out the red carpet for Captain Kirk and company on Thursday, as the stars came out for the premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness.

Chris Pine gave Leonardo DiCaprio’s Jay Gatsby a run for his money with a dapper pinstripe ensemble, while Zachary Quinto went with a black-and-blue look.

“Psyched for my @ToddSnyderNY tuxedo at the STAR TREK INTO DARKNESS premiere tonight. It’s aces,” Quinto wrote on Twitter before the big event.

Earlier in the day, Pine and his other co-star Benedict Cumberbatch, who portrays a villain in the new sequel, were spotted heading into the Ed Sullivan theater for a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman.

Star Trek Into Darkness, directed by J.J. Abrams, opens nationwide May 17.

From faux hawks to safety pins, punk was in full force on Monday at the 2013 Met Gala in New York City.

Cameron Diaz rocked a belt with spikes, courtesy of Valentino, while Stacy Keibler and Sienna Miller donned a studded dress and jacket, respectively.

Miley Cyrus turned heads with her spikey bleached blonde hair, as did Anne Hathaway in her lighter, brighter mane.

Other stars used their eyes to bring out their inner punk to celebrate the Costume Institute of The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s “PUNK: Chaos to Couture” exhibition: Kristen Stewart and Elle Fanning went with bright eye shadow colors; Jessica Pare, Katie Holmes and Karolina Kurkova went with the smokier variety.

Chainmail and fishnets were also popular with the stars — kudos to Gisele Bundchen, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Madonna.

Last night at the Met Gala, Ashley Greene showed off an updated version of the gold embroidered Marchesa gown Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) wore to her senior prom on Gossip Girl circa 2009.

Each year the Met Gala brings us the best and, more entertainingly, the worst in celebrity haute couture. This year’s punk theme promised some major misses and, oh boy, did our favorite famous people ever deliver.

There were quite a few runners-up. Cameron Diaz‘s odd cape and Vera Wang‘s self-censored nightmare nearly made the list. But alas, they were topped by these ten truly terrible ensembles.

Ah, the Costume Institute Gala.  A night bursting at the seams with couture gowns, low blood sugar and too many bobby pins.

The fasting and primping make it all worthwhile the moment our favorite celebrities step out of their cars and onto the Met’s red carpet.  For this event has fast become fashion’s biggest night.

I shant lie, tonight was a tough call on who deserved to make our best dressed list.  Emmy Rossum almost made it, but I wasn’t too in love with the sheerness of her skirt.

Call it catty, but there was a lot of competition tonight.  JLo was there, for crying in the mud!

Then Mindy Kaling showed up in a custom-made Lela Rose gown with B.J. Novak (In Florsheim by Duckie Brown Beaded Brogues) and I was like OMFG.

While some of us were lining ourselves with grommets (Sienna Miller), others chose to show off our fabulous genes/hours spent at the gym during tonight’s 2013 Met Ball in New York City.

Emma Watson looked absolutely smashing in a black silk crepe back satin hand-draped gown from Prabal Gurung‘s Fall-Winter 2013 collection.  Miranda Kerr sparkled in a cut-out dress by Michael Kors (complete with berry-stained lips).

This picture is my everything.

Katie Holmes and Calvin Klein‘s Francisco Costa headed to Party City before the 2013 Met Costume Institute Ball for a bit of inspiration.  They then took some gauzy fabric, slapped soem adhesive on it and called it a day.

Great hair, though.  Lovin’ the poofy pompadour.

Rooney Mara walked the red carpet with Givenchy‘s Ricarrdo Tisci at tonight’s Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.  Some of fashion and entertainment’s most beautiful people will flock to Manhattan’s Upper East Side for the black tie opening of PUNK: Chaos to Couture exhibition.

Both Mara and Tisci are a few of gala benefit’s co-chairs, with fundraising going towards the Costume Institute’s exhibitions, acquisitions, and capital improvements.

The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo star wore a white lace gown by the Italian house with dark plum lips.  Not too punk, but not too prim either.

What’s sexier than a woman showing off her curves?  Even before Marilyn Monroe showed off her hourglass figure, Mae West was giving the boys something to think about.

These days, women pay good money to have themselves sculpted to look more like Beyonce, Sofia Vergara and Kate Winslet.

Um, herroh.  There’s a much safer/cheaper/smarter way to shake that tail feather than going for broke.  For example, you’ll hear stars talking about how certain undergarments are their saving grace for red carpet events.

Might I suggest shapewear from Dr. Rey?  The former Dr. 90210‘s line is reasonably priced, keeps the wobbly bits in place and won’t prevent you from activities such as breathing, moving and turning your torso left and right.

See?  Don’t you look zexy.

On the even of fashion’s biggest night, Carey Mulligan attended a pre-Met Ball screening of her newest movie, The Great Gatsby.

Joining Mulligan at the MOMA in New York City were Emma Roberts, Mark Sanchez and former Downton Abbey star, Dan Stevens.

Mulligan told the latest issue of Flaunt magazine that she was scared out of her knickers to take on the iconic role of Daisy Buchanan.

“This ‘Gatsby’ project inspires so much anger or passion from people,” the Oscar nominee said.  ”Even British people don’t get upset if you mess up an Austen adaptation, ‘Oh that’s fine, we’ve all done it.’ But in America it’s like, ‘Don’t f–k with Fitzgerald.’”

Baz Luhrmann‘s adaptation of the F. Scott Fitzgerald novel opens this Friday.

Downton Abbey‘s Laura Carmichael and executive producer Gareth Neame popped over to Santa Monica’s Fairmont Miramar Hotel on Friday to help BritWeek celebrate the famed ITV series.

“It’s my first time in LA. and it’s lovely to come and meet other Brits who are here and doing great things and showing me the ropes,” Carmichael, in a powder blue dress and matching shoes by Christopher Kane, told us on the red carpet.

Carmichael plays the oft down-and-out middle sister, Lady Edith, who was most recently left at the altar by Sir Anthony.

Fear not, though, for Edith has found herself possibly entering into another May-December relationship.  This time with Michael Gregson, her editor at The Sketch.  Edith confirmed to us that he will be around this season.

“She’s sort of found a voice for herself and someone is interested in her for that reason,” Carmichael told us of their bond.

And what about her penchant for older men?  ”She’s loves it,” Carmichael said.  ”Or is it that they love her?”

Cheeky girl!

Ok, on to an equally important topic: Fashion.

“It’s fantastic,” Carmichael said about the era that put drop-waists on the map.  ”Season 4 we’re in the ‘20s, so I’ve got a lot of great costumes coming up.

“Edith is having s bit of a great time, really.  She’s got a job as a writer in London, so she reflects some of the newer fashions.”

Everyone fancies themselves a bit of Downton style, so we wanted to know how the costume designers come up with such gorgeous pieces.

“All costumes are pretty much custom made,” Carmichael said.  ”We look for originals and we’ll use if they’re in good enough shape. They’re 100 years old, so quite often we’ll use a bit of the fabric.

“I have one that we’ve nicknamed ‘Beadith’ because its covered in beads.  It’s an original piece of beading. It’s beautiful.”

Shooting for the fourth season is currently underway.

The summer blockbuster season is upon us, which means the stars have been busy promoting their films and attending red carpet premieres around the world.

One day after The Great Gatsby crowd took over  New York City, the stars of Star Trek Into Darkness had their turn in getting fancy for the film’s UK premiere.

Chris Pine and his fellow Star Trek gentlemen Zachary Quinto and Benedict Cumberbatch suited up for the big event, held at the Empire Leicester Square in London.

Zoe Saldana stunned in a black and white gown while Alice Eve looked ultra glamorous in her suede number.

J.J. Abrams’ follow-up to 2009’s Star Trek opens stateside May 17.

Jay Gatsby would have loved this party.

New York City was extra glamorous on Wednesday as the stars came out for the world premiere of The Great Gatsby.

The lavish affair, held at Avery Fisher Hall at the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, welcomed the likes of the film’s leads Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire and Isla Fisher, as well as the soundtrack’s mega producer Jay-Z.

All week, director Baz Luhrmann and company have been hitting up the talk show circuit and events in support of the movie based on F. Scott Fitzgerald’s classic.

The Great Gatsby opens nationwide on May 10 and will also open the 66th Cannes Film Festival on May 15.

Jennifer Lopez was a major fashion hit on Saturday as she flaunted her fit figure in an LBD for an event in Las Vegas.

The 43-year-old superstar was joined by her boyfriend Casper Smart as the pair joined a number of celebrities in celebrating the opening of Hakkasan Las Vegas Restaurant and Nightclub at the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino.

The couple shared a few laughs as they pose for photos together on the blue carpet.

Paris Hilton, Vanessa Hudgens, Calvin Harris and Pharrell were also spotted at the event.

Next up for J.Lo: a new single called “Live It Up,” set for a May 8 release, and the June 3rd premiere of The Fosters, an ABC Family TV series produced by the singer.

Selena Gomez returned to her Disney roots over the weekend.

On Saturday, the 20-year-old star hit the red carpet for the 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards, which were handed out at the Nokia Theatre L.A. Live in Los Angeles, Calif.

Gomez donned a loose leather tee by Vince, paired with a skirt by Blumarine and heels from Nicholas Kirkwood, according to the fan fashion blog Selena’s Closet.

During the show, the singer and actress performed her new single “Come & Get It,” the first track off her highly anticipated summer album.

Earlier this week, Adidas unveiled images from Gomez’s new ad campaign for the company’s Neo streetwear collection.

“Here is some Rooftop fun from the adidas NEO label photo shoot,” Gomez wrote on Twitter, along with a video of the project.
