]]> It was the movie that made him a heartthrob, but Richard Gere recently admitted his dislike for the rom-com Pretty Woman.

In a recent interview with Woman’s Day, the 62-year-old actor said, “It’s my least favorite thing. People ask me about that movie, but I’ve forgotten it. That was a silly romantic comedy. This is a much more serious movie that has some real cause and effect.”

What?! The 1990s film, about a call girl with a heart of gold (played by Julia Roberts) and a business man finding love, is considered by many to be a classic. The film also launched Gere and Roberts into superstardom.
