Melrose Place babe Locklear, 47, and her rocker ex-husband Sambora, 49, were all smiles at their 11-year-old daughter Ava Elizabeth Sambora‘s View Point School soccer game in Calabasas, California.

Heather and Richie were married for just over 11 years. They split in February 2006.

However, the former couple have remained friends in the aftermath of their divorce. Locklear and her current beau, fellow Melrose Place alum Jack Wagner, 49, spent Thanksgiving with Richie and Ava.

“Heather and Richie are very supportive of each other,” a Locklear pal told People in November. “They talk all the time, and any time Ava has something important happening they are there together.”

That’s a great goal for both of them to keep in mind—well, that one, and the goal on their daughter’s soccer field!

Few people will be more relieved than her when that ball drops on January 1.

“I am really looking forward to 2009,” Locklear told Tonight Show host Jay Leno on Wednesday night’s program, Us Magazine reports. “There’s, like, three weeks left—I’ll stay in my house.”

While Locklear was on Leno’s show to promote her new Lifetime movie, Flirting With 40, the onetime Melrose Place resident’s recent personal woes dominated the interview.

Conceding that recent months have been “rough,” the beleaguered thespian nonetheless says that she sees light at the end of the tunnel.

“I’m good today,” she noted. “I think I am over that bump. I’ve done so much work.”

Well, clearly. Locklear spent Thanksgiving with her ex-husband, Bon Jovi guitarist Richie Sambora, 49, with whom she has an 11-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth. Also present: Locklear’s current beau, actor Jack Wagner, 49.

If she can be graceful under that kind of holiday awkwardness, Locklear can make it through anything.

Heather and Richie, 49, were both charged this year with DUIs, from separate incidents. They were married from 1994 to 2006, and have an 11-year-old daughter, Ava Elizabeth, together.

“Heather and Richie are very supportive of each other,” a Locklear friend tells the magazine. “They talk all the time, and any time Ava has something important happening they are there together. It’s going to be a very nice Thanksgiving for everyone.”

Meanwhile, the CW network has announced plans to revive Locklear’s hit 1990s nighttime soap, Melrose Place.

There’s no word yet on whether Heather will reprise her role as Amanda Woodward on the new version of the show, a la Shannen Doherty and Jennie Garth‘s return to the updated 90210.

Make that some police. A TMZ update reports “a significant number of officers” disagree on the case’s overall charges: “There was no smell of alcohol on his breath, and no evidence of dangerous or erratic driving.”

Among Richie’s passengers were his and Heather Locklear‘s 10-year-old daughter, Ava, as well as her teenage cousin and his girlfriend Jenn Mallini of Girls Gone Wild apparel fame.

Cops are asking for a misdemeanor child endangerment charge, pending results of the Bon Jovi guitarist’s blood-alcohol test. The Laguna Beach D.A. has until Richie’s next hearing, on May 7, to determine if they will act on the police recommendation.

Either way, rest assured that somewhere in L.A., a steaming Heather Locklear is recalculating how her ex gives love a bad name while plotting her next move. Sole custody, anyone?
