Alessandra Ambrosio showed off new Victoria’s Secret apparel during a new photo shoot in Venice Beach, Calif.

“Early morning wake up call, nice #sky by the #beach !! #california,” the 31-year-old beauty wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, Hilary Duff and her son Luca headed to a class in Sherman Oaks. Duff and her hubby Mike Comrie will soon be celebrating a milestone: Little Luca turns one on Mar. 20.

Fellow Hollywood mom Halle Berry has been busy doing press for her upcoming film The Call in recent days. On Tuesday night, the 46-year-old celebrated the movie’s L.A. premiere at the Arclight Cinema with co-star Abigail Breslin. The thriller opens on March 15.

Over on the east coast, James Franco stopped by the Sirius Radio Station to chat about his new film Oz The Great and Powerful. His co-star Michelle Williams, meanwhile, was spotted out for a walk with her pet pooch in the Big Apple.

Across the pond, Justin Bieber sported a Brooklyn Nets cap for a night out in London while Jessica Chastain continued to take in the sights and sounds of Paris Fashion Week in France.

Ricky Martin is livin’ la vida loca in uptown New York City.

The pop star has recently dropped $5.9 million on a swanky four bedroom, four-and-half bathroom home located in the heart of the Upper East Side.

The 3,150 square foot family pad features two master suites, 10-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a children’s playroom with ample storage for the 40-year-old father’s two twin boys, Matteo and Valentino.

And this jet-setter has multiple homes in other exotic locales.

According to Real Estalker, the “She Bangs” singer also has properties Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Dorado, Puerto Rico.

Previously, Martin lived in the Big Apple’s elite abode at 40 Bond Street before moving uptown to the Lucida in 2011.

President Barack Obama is getting ready to party with Jay and Bey.

Music power couple Jay-Z and Beyoncé Knowles are hosting an exclusive shindig at the rapper-producer’s swanky 40/40 club in New York City on Tuesday night. The Commander-in-Chief will grace the 100-guest event — for which ticket prices run as high as $40,000 per head — and the proceeds will benefit the president’s reelection campaign.

After shooting his sit-down interview on the Late Show with David Letterman, Obama will head to a campaign event at the Waldorf Astoria before heading to Hova’s club to deliver remarks at the star-powered gathering. Reports indicate that the affair will be the POTUS’s final fundraising event in the Big Apple ahead of the Nov. 6 election.

But this certainly isn’t the first time a celebrity has their weight behind Obama’s campaign.

Ever since kicking off his re-election campaign, the president has relied on his ever-growing support network of Hollywood stars. High-profile backers like Sarah Jessica Parker, Glee creator Ryan Murphy and Tyler Perry have opened their homes to host Obama fundraisers.

Perhaps most notably, George Clooney‘s celebrity-packed dinner at his Studio City, Calif., home in May pulled in a whopping $15 million — from stars like Barbra Streisand, Robert Downey Jr., Jack Black, Billy Crystal, Salma Hayek and Tobey Maguire – all in support of keeping Obama in the White House for four more years.

Everything is better in pairs — especially for new parents Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, who welcomed twins into the world.

“The babies were born a few weeks early, but are in good health and both Mom and Dad are overjoyed,” said a joint statement from their reps on Wednesday.

And the True Blood costars-turned-lovers certainly aren’t the first celebrities to get a double delivery from the stork.

Ricky Martin is no longer livin’ la vida loca in Miami, FL. After five years on the market, the Spanish heartthrob’s home in the Sunshine State was sold for a whopping $10.6 million, Real Estalker reports.

The 40-year-old singer — who is currently residing in NYC while performing in Broadway’s Evita – was living large in Miami with this 9,491 square feet, seven bedrooms, eight full and two and a half bathrooms.

Though it took a while to sell, Ricky did have some new celebrity parents interested in the home.

It was reported in Dec. 2011 on TMZ that Beyonce Knowles and Jay-Z had toured the mansion, but they didn’t end up purchasing the estate. Though Ricky originally put the house on the market for $16.9 million in 2007, we don’t think $10 million is anything to turn a nose up at.

Real Estalker describes the home as a  ”gated Mediterranean that was built in 2004″ and even includes “separate guest quarters located across the center motor court from the main house.” In addition, “stone and wood floors run throughout the very grown up and architecturally detailed residence that includes intricately articulated ceilings, carved stone columns and fireplaces, and an almost alarming number of archways and arched windows, many of which suck up the glittery, northwesterly bay views.”

Ricky Martin‘s twins Matteo and Valentino are growing up so fast! The Puerto Rican singer, 40, is all smiles, posing with his 3-year-old twins on the Spanish edition of Vanity Fair, where he opens up about fatherhood, picking an egg donor and his past relationships with women.

In the issue, the Evita star talks about how gracious he is to be a dad — knowing it is all thanks to his wonderful surrogate. “I did not rent a womb. That expression is used by fundamentalists. They loaned me an abdomen … I would give my life for the woman who helped me bring my sons into this world,” he said.

Although Ricky is living happily with partner Carlos Gonzalez, he opened up and defended his past relationships with women, admitting:

“I’ve slept with women and I’ve fallen in love with them and I’ve felt wonderful things. There was love, passion. I don’t regret anything, any of the relationships I’ve lived, they taught me a lot, both men and women equally.”

Ricky Martin returned to the Broadway stage last night for the debut performance of Broadway’s Evita, in which he takes on the Tony-winning role of Che.

Though the show doesn’t officially open for another few weeks, cameras were able to get an early look at Ricky on the red carpet and at the show’s first curtain call, where the 40-year-old (yes, he’s 40!) looked as hot as he did back in the days of Livin’ La Vida Loca. Better with age, indeed!

Ricky has been all over the press in the last couple of months. Ricky Martin made his official comeback with a performance of “Sexy & I Know It” that sizzled up Glee‘s Latin Week theme last month — and has inspired him to continue acting. Martin is now going to hit Broadway, taking on the role of Che in the revival of Evita. 

This spicy Latino star also opened up about his love life for the first time since coming out of the closet to The Advocate.

Martin has settled down in New York with his partner Carlos Gonzalez Abella – a financial analyst-stockbroker — and his twin boys.  

When he first encountered his now boyfriend, he wasn’t looking for a relationship. “It was just one of those things that just happened. You’re not supposed to be here right now. Would you please allow me to just go on my journey?” Martin admits.

But now he couldn’t ask for anything more … “I think he’s so sexy. He’s very smart. That is such a turn-on. He leaves the house every day in a suit and tie and that is so sexy. It’s two different worlds — his and mine. I know as much about his world as he knows about my world, which makes it really cool.”

Ricky Martin was spotted rocking some new facial hair at a Mac Viva Glam event in NYC on Wednesday night. The singer hit the red carpet showing off his new mustache and later joined Nicki Minaj for a performance later in the evening.

This year, Ricky and Nicki were named MAC’s Viva Glam new spokespeople. The cosmetic line is used to help those affected by HIV/AIDS and is a cause that both artists proudly support.

“I am very honored to be chosen as the first Latin man to be a spokesperson for this beautiful cause,” Ricky said in a press release. “We want to talk about things that really matter, and obviously HIV/AIDS is one of those — and in my case, HIV/AIDS and the cure for kids with HIV.”

Last night, Ricky Martin made is much-anticipated debut on Glee, in which he showed off his acting, singing and dancing skills to great effect.

Playing David Martinez, a night school Spanish teacher who shows Mr. Schue a thing or two, Ricky had a number of awesome moments, particularly in his duet of ‘La Isla Bonita’ with Naya Rivera’s character, Santana.

So, what was it like for the cast to work with Martin?

“Ricky Martin has what we like to call ‘duende,’” Naya Rivera reveals. To find out what that means, tune in on Tuesday, February 7, when the episode airs on FOX. Chris Colfer takes it a step further, saying:

“In my three years of Glee, I have never seen a guest star walk onto set and literally everyone is melting.”

Martin has quite the prolific career, but nothing compares to this appearance on the show. He reveals that shooting this scene is “one of my favorite moments in my career.” Hit the play button above and prepare to swoon.

TVLine is reporting that he will play, “the hottest Spanish teacher ever in the history of Ohio.” Look out Mr. Schue!

Also, their source said that, “Martin’s scalding instructor will headline two big musical numbers in the episode, which is slated to air in late January.”

While we were all shocked beyond belief to learn that straighter-than-straight singer Ricky Martin is gay (or, maybe not) his former list of closeted boyfriends is pretty surprising.

According to a Mexican tabloid (via Perez Hilton), Ricky allegedly used to secretly date Eduardo Verastegui, a super hot Mexican model who became a spokesperson for the anti-gay marriage bill Prop 8 in California. Secret gays! Lies! Homophobia! Closets! This kind of ironic and juicy gossip is something that could only happen in the world of closeted Hispanic celebrities. Or, you know, the world of closeted politicos in Washington D.C., whatever.

Verastegui isn’t super well-known in the States, but he filmed the Spanish-language commercials promoting Prop 8 and decrying gay marriage to target Hispanic voters in California.

You may have already heard the utterly shocking, life-changing news that pop sensation Ricky Martin is gay, but did you know that he may have been forced out of that transparent closet?

According to Guanabee, a Latino blog is claiming that Martin only came out of the closet because the paparazzi had snapped some photos that “finally proved” that Ricky was a gay.

What kind of photos “prove” that someone is gay, other than sex photos? Was Ricky spotted wearing a feather boa while clutching a Liza Minelli album? Was he seen walking a poodle in a leotard while shopping for organic heirloom squash at a farmer’s market? Unless you’ve got hardcore sex photos, you got nothing.

Anyways, the paps were trying to sell the gay photos to various magazines, prompting the magazines to call Ricky’s publicist to confirm the story. Ricky heard about what the paps were trying to do and well, we all know what happened next.

Ready for some shocking news? Well, that’s too bad, because this definitely ain’t it.

After years of rumors, “Livin’ La Vida Loca” singer Ricky Martin has come out as gay on his Web site. The 38-year-old former Menudo heartthrob, who became the father of twin boys via a surrogate pregnancy in 2008, writes,

“I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am.”

So, uh, what took so long? According to Martin, he kept his sexuality a secret on the advice of those who thought it might have a negative impact on his career:

“Many people told me: ‘Ricky it’s not important,’ ‘it’s not worth it,’ ‘all the years you’ve worked and everything you’ve built will collapse,’ ”many people in the world are not ready to accept your truth, your reality, your nature.’ Because all this advice came from people who I love dearly, I decided to move on with my life not sharing with the world my entire truth.  Allowing myself to be seduced by fear and insecurity became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sabotage. Today I take full responsibility for my decisions and my actions.”

But now, apparently, the singer has decided that there are more catastrophic things than admitting your true nature. Martin goes on to write,

“If someone asked me today, ‘Ricky, what are you afraid of?’” I would answer ‘the blood that runs through the streets of countries at war…child slavery, terrorism…the cynicism of some people in positions of power, the misinterpretation of faith.’ But fear of my truth? Not at all!  On the contrary, It fills me with strength and courage. This is just what I need especially now that I am the father of two beautiful boys that are so full of light and who with their outlook teach me new things every day. To keep living as I did up until today would be to indirectly diminish the glow that my kids where born with. Enough is enough. This has to change. This was not supposed to happen 5 or 10 years ago, it is supposed to happen now. Today is my day, this is my time, and this is my moment.
