Watch out, moviegoers: four Academy Award winners are going to “party like it’s 1959” on the big screen this fall.

On Thursday, CBS Films and Good Universe unveiled the first trailer for Last Vegas, a comedy starring Morgan Freeman, Michael Douglas, Robert De Niro and Kevin Kline. No, they’re not playing older versions of Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and their friends from The Hangover franchise, but the premise is familiar.

Someone’s getting married (Douglas). He calls up his buddies to go to Las Vegas to “get in trouble.” They party with bikini-clad ladies, drink a lot and attempt to dance.

Directed by Jon Turteltaub (who last brought us The Sorcerer’s Apprentice and the National Treasure films), Last Vegas opens Nov. 1.

The red carpets weren’t always rolling out for this year’s batch of Academy Award nominees.

Before the big screen roles, seven-figure salaries and fawning fans, movie stars started out as ordinary people. Sure, after decades in the spotlight, Oscar hopefuls like Robert De Niro, Sally Field, Steven Spielberg and Denzel Washington are some of the most familiar faces in the industry.

In Silver Linings Playbook, Pat Solatano (Bradley Cooper) has lost everything – his job, his house and his wife. But a young woman named Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence) offers to help him rebuild his life, in the process performing a few repairs on her own.

In a series of images exclusive to Celebuzz, the film’s main characters forage for redemption and meaning, connecting with one another as they come to terms with the choices that led them to where they are.

Living with his father (Robert De Niro) and mother (Jacki Weaver), Pat tries to maintain a positive outlook, even when his parents pressure him to embrace their passion for football.

Meanwhile, Tiffany needs Pat as much as he does her, and the two of them quickly form a bond that enhances both of their lives.

In a trio of Hollywood hotness, Jude Law, Uma Thurman and Robert De Niro put on a display of star power that only the likes of Cannes could contain.

The group was out in full force at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday morning as a show of solidarity, as they are part of De Niro’s 9-member jury who will be laying down the verdict on the winners from this year’s film festival.
Thurman looked gorgeous and glamorous in a white sleeved dress, while Law kept his chic reputation intact thanks to a suit. De Niro went casual — untucked shirt, jeans — but hey, he’s Robert freaking De Niro. He can wear whatever he pleases.

The Cannes Film Festival is kicking off this week and will be underway for the next few weeks in southern France. Expect to see all of Hollywood’s A-list there premiering their new movies and also just mingling with their fellow stars — and stay tuned to Celebuzz for all of the biggest event coverage from Cannes!

Infamous funnyman Sacha Baron Cohen has signed on the play the legendary lead singer of Queen in a new film. According to Deadline the movie, which is being produced by Robert DeNiro’s Tribeca Productions, will focus on the band’s most influential years leading up to their performance at 1985’s Live Aid.

No word yet on whether or not Cohen will be singing himself, but don’t worry, the rights to all of Queen’s most popular songs have been secured. The film will begin production in 2011.

Robert Rodriguez‘s upcoming film Machete (out on September 3) has generated a lot of buzz, not least of all because of the participation of Hollywood problem child Lindsay Lohan. And this new trailer is bound to get people talking even more—once they pick their jaws up off the floor.

The popular Meet the Parents franchise is back again with their newest installment, Little Fockers.

If the newly-released trailer is anything to go by, it looks like Ben Stiller‘s Greg Focker is finally standing up against scary father-in-law Jack Byrnes (played by Robert DeNiro).

The new film brings back Blythe Danner and Barbara Streisand but also sees a couple of new additions, like Jessica Alba, who appears to be playing some sort of pill-pushing hottie that may or may not be seducing Ben’s character. Sounds like trouble!

The trailer for Robert Rodriguez‘s epic-to-be Machete (in theaters September 3) has washed up on the Internet’s shores, finally answering the age-old question: What would Lindsay Lohan look like as a nun with a gun? Wonder no more, people; wonder no more.

Besides unraveling this mystery, the trailer also features some sweet scenes from Robert DeNiro, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez and (yes!) Cheech Marin as a shotgun-wielding priest, as well as title-role star Danny Trejo going off with about a million knives.
