Stewart, 22, stepped out to support her boyfriend Friday for the premiere of his film Cosmopolis at the Cannes Film Festival, and inside the theater she was beaming with pride.

Here’s what went down:

Sources inside the theater tell Celebuzz that Kristen was one of the first on her feet during the audience’s standing ovation when the film was over.

In the adorable photo above, that was posted on the Robert Pattinson Life fan page, you can see Kristen lean over and hug her man.

“She looked on so proud,” a theatergoer tells us. “She let him have his moment with the cast before wrapping her arms around him and whispering something in his ear.”

In the photo set from inside the theater, there is so much emotion all over Stewart’s face. Seriously, you can tell she is so proud! Check them out here.

Judging by her demeanor she must have loved the film– and it appears Stewart isn’t alone. Early reviews have been very positive for David Cronenberg’s edgy film, in which Pattinson, 26, stars in.

This has been quite the week for Twilight‘s power couple. Kristen has also received glowing reviews for her performance in On the Road which premiered Wednesday at Cannes. Pattinson walked the carpet, and at the after-party they couldn’t keep their hands off each other! Get all the cute details here.

The 22-year-old Twilight actress hit the red carpet premiere of Robert Pattinson‘s new film Cosmopolis in Cannes, France on Friday, and looked positively stunning in a floor-length Reem Acra gown. Adding just a touch of sexiness, Stewart’s dress had a plunging neckline, and see-through lace back. Tres chic!

Though she didn’t pose with her 26-year-old beau, she was definitely in good company.

Kristen, who was at the Cannes Film Festival to promote her own project, On the Road, was joined on the red carpet by Pattinson’s BFF Tom Sturridge, 26, who is currently expecting his first child with fiancee Sienna Miller, 30.

Earlier this week, it was Rob’s turn to support Kristen as he attended the premiere of her new film, On the Road, the film adpatation of Jack Kerouac famous novel of the same name. It also stars another real-life couple, Kirsten Dunst and Garrett Hedlund.

However, Friday was all about Rob, and the premiere of his film, Cosmopolis. Check out the trailer below.

“We did camera tests. I was sitting in the limo, I didn’t have anything to do … and I almost threw up,” Pattinson, 26, told Metro France. “My heart was beating so fast, I was scared David was going to fire me.”

However, Pattinson eventually found his groove, so to speak. Rob was asked if he found all the sex scenes “fun and exciting.”

His answer after the jump:

The most difficult one was the one with my bodyguard played by Patricia McKenzie,” Rob said, before he laughed: “At first, we were supposed to see us climax at the beginning of the scene, and then talk after. But David suggested that we talked while we f–ked.”

However, there was a scene where Rob had to tell David “no.” It’s when his prostate gets examined. A laughing Rob explained:

Five minutes before we filmed, David told me ‘I want to see the bottom of your balls on the top of the frame.’ At the moment, I reminded myself that I would do anything for him. So I went back to see him and told him that wouldn’t happen. He took it really well. At the start, it’s a very bizarre scene that you won’t see again in another movie, I promise.

Pattinson clearly trusts the acclaimed director and must have had an amazing experience working with him, because he has already signed on to Cronenberg’s next project without reading a script!

“It will be David’s first movie in America,” Rob says of the project. “In Los Angeles, to be exact. It will be about the industry of cinematography and I promise that it’s going to be really weird.”

Judging by the Cosmopolis trailer we certainly believe that it will be weird. Watch for yourself:

Three new character posters were released Thursday from The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 2!

In the shots above you see Rob, Kristen, and Taylor Lautner get serious for the final installment of the franchise. The film hits theaters November 16, 2012 but the vampire crew is expected to reunite this July at Comic-Con.

After Rob walked the red carpet, he waited inside for Stewart, 22. Sitting in front of her in the packed theater (she sat with her cast), we’re told Pattinson, 26, and Kristen had a few minutes to catch up before the film started. However, at the after-party at Magic Garden Club, Celebuzz is told the couple only had eyes for each other.

So what went down?

Holding court at a private table, sources tell us Rob and Kristen “never left each other’s sides.”

“They just looked really happy,” adds our insider. “They hung out with friends, like Sam Riley, but it seemed like Rob and Kristen were in their own little world. It looked like they spent the entire night laughing! You could tell that they were in great spirits, and Rob couldn’t have looked more proud.”

And there was no shortage of PDA! The couple was not shy to show affection, “kissing, cuddling, and giggling.” Adds our source, “they looked like two kids in love!”

You can see Pattinson keep his girl close in the photo above that someone posted on Twitter. Not to mention their adorable kiss was caught by paparazzi (kind of bittersweet), and there is even video of it down below.

Quick recap: Rob pulls Kristen in and they sort of start swaying back and forth. Champagne dancing, perhaps? Then he kisses her on the forehead (you can tell she’s smiling!) before there is some sort of animated conversation. We’d die to be a fly on the wall to hear what they are talking about. Pattinson seems to be shaking his head “Noooo” for a while, does a funny little dance, and then he and Kristen go in for the kill. This is too much cuteness to handle for one day!

The vampire heartthrob, 26, suited up and hit the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday in support of his leading lady and the premiere of her new film in which she stars alongside real-life couple Garrett Hedlund and Kirsten Dunst.

Though the Twilight couple didn’t pose for photos together, KStew, 22, was still all smiles. Looking gorgeous in a floor-length printed gown, Kristen showed lots of skin with her plummeting neckline and sexy slit.

RPattz didn’t look too bad himself. Playing it cool, the actor did pop on his shades at one point, only adding to his dapper style.

This won’t be the last time we’ll most likely spot this A-list couple on the Cannes carpet.

She went on to tell the publication that’s part of the reason that she likes to be cast in the roles of such intense characters.

“It’s one of the reasons I want to act. I love living in different worlds, because a lot of times mine is pretty nice and easy.”

That said, Celebuzz was still able to squeeze out a tiny bit of info from Kristen on Rob’s star-studded birthday at the premiere of Snow White and the Huntsman Monday night in London.

What secrets did she spill?

Asked whether she had a great time celebrating her beau’s big 2-6, the 22-year-old beauty laughed: “Yeah. Of course!”

Meanwhile, sources for Celebuzz spotted Kristen and Rob together at the Snow White after party on Monday, where Rob was by his girlfriend’s side all night.”

“[They] couldn’t look more enamored with each other” said our source, adding: “Rob couldn’t be more proud of Kristen. It’s an amazing film.”

Also spotted at the party was Rob’s sister, Lizzy. Talk about a family affair!

Of course, while Kristen didn’t reveal much else about the party on the red carpet, she was more than willing to stalk about her stunning Marchesa dress, which rivaled co-star Charlize Theron’s as the best look of the night.

“When I put it on, I just thought it was kind of the craziest thing I’ve ever seen!” she gushed. “I know everyone is going to be like, ‘Kristen Stewart, she’s so sinister, she’s so weird and dark.’ It’s bare!”

If by bare, you mean awesome, then, yes. We agree!

Kristen plays the titular character in Snow White and the Huntsman, out June 1, a film that required her to don a British accent for the first time in her career. Celebuzz joked that Kristen’s accent is better than her British-born boyfriend’s. To which she quipped: “It’s because he’s trying to lose his! I don’t know what the deal is with him.”

Although Kristen is in London, the actress is busy promoting her latest flick, Snow White & The Huntsman. It’s possible that the camera-shy actress may have slipped in the back to avoid the paparazzi.

Up next, Pattinson heads off the Cannes for the premiere of his new film Cosmopolis. The film is about a wealthy bad boy, Eric Packer (Pattinson), who tries to get a haircut in New York City. But as he’s on his way, he encounters obstacles which keep him from getting his trim.

In a recent interview with Premiere magazine Pattinson says that the role changed him in a way,

“Filming Cosmopolis with David changed something in me. It gave me balls.”

In an interview with the mag — of which he also posed in a photo that he says is Cronenberg (A Dangerous Method, Eastern Promises) inspired — the Twilight actor, 25, admits that this role stretched him, and even changed him in a way.

He confesses,

“Filming Cosmopolis with David changed something in me. It gave me balls.”

He adds, “As soon as I read a script that I liked, I was working myself up, asking myself if I was good enough.”

The film — which has Rob in every single scene — shows R-Pattz’s character Eric Packer with guns, nearly nude women and a few sexy suits. Cosmopolis is based on Don DeLillo’s 2003 novel, which follows a wealthy young man as he tries to get a haircut in New York City. While on his way to get his haircut, the character is met with multiple obstacles which keep him from getting his trim.

Signs point to the later as Kristen, 22, looks to have swiped her Twilight leading man’s baseball cap and has been wearing it around town. The 22-year-old actress stepped out in New York City on Tuesday wearing the sweat-stained hat, pairing it with a black sweatshirt and skinny jeans.

However, this isn’t the first time we’ve spotted the star wearing her beau’s clothes.

“I didn’t see it, but that’s because I need to read the books first!” Nikki said. “I’m coming up for air now!”

Breaking Dawn- Part 2 hits theaters November 16. The cast is expected to start promoting the new film at Comic-Con in San Diego this July.

The bizarre clip — the first we’ve seen since the equally bizarre trailer — is quintessential David Cronenberg, and features a lot of stylistic dialogue, camera work and dead rats. Basically, it’s a big departure from his work in The Twilight Saga, and a sign that perhaps RPattz is ready to take on a role that’s a bit more challenging.

In the film, based on the novel by Don DeLillo, Robert plays Eric Packer, a young billionaire who blows through his fortune in a 24-hour binge, all while trying to get a haircut. Featured in the film — and this clip — is Sarah Gadon, who plays RPattz’s wife, a distant blonde who apparently prefers bookstores to flings in a hotel.

Well, at least Robert still has Kristen Stewart!

Cosmopolis, which is set to premiere at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival this month, hits select theaters later this year.

Twilight couple Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrived for a flight at the Vancouver airport on Thursday, where they did their best to avoid the paparazzi as they made their way through security.

Could they be any cuter together?

Dressed in sunglasses and a Chanel No. 9 hoodie, Kristen was all smiles alongside her hunky boyfriend, who donned a similar shady look, wearing a hoodie, baseball cap and sunglasses.

The couple — who finally (finally!) confirmed their relationship last year — was in Vancouver, Canada to film reshoots for the last chapter of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part II. They were most recently spotted enjoying a little R&R — not to mention a little music — at Coachella this past month.

The film is being adapted by Band of Brothers writer/producer Erik Jendresen from Maddox’s book Mission: Black List #1: The Inside Story of the Search for Saddam Hussein — As Told by the Soldier Who Masterminded His Capture, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

So what can R-Pattz fans expect from the film?

“This movie is a gripping, edge of your seat thriller,” producer Ross M. Dinerstein said in a statement. “I have been inspired by Robert and Jean-Stephane’s dedication to tell this story in the most authentic way possible.”
